Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on the performance of employees of the South Jakarta Transportation Department. This study uses a quantitative approach and uses primary data through distributing questionnaires to 83 respondents to employees of the South Jakarta Transportation Agency. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Data were processed through the SPSS version 25.0 program with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the t test prove that partially motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, while the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance as shown by the acquisition of a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Then the results of the F test prove that motivation and work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of the employees of the South Jakarta Transportation Agency with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The contribution of the influence of motivation (X1) and work environment (X2) on employee performance (Y) was 73.7%, while the remaining 26.3% contained other factors which were not examined in this study.

Abstract

Along with the spread of Covid-19 throughout the world, all aspects of life that we are used to living, are forced to undergo changes. Therefore, the government includes the taxation sector, if it is drawn from the perspective of tax compliance itself. One of the taxes that is the biggest contributor to local tax revenues is the Motor Vehicle Tax. Motor vehicle tax is one of the tax revenues that affects the high regional income. The purpose of the study was to empirically examine the effect of taxpayer awareness, tax service quality, income level, tax knowledge, and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance with motorbikes and cars in the pandemic era at the South Surabaya Samsat. Quantitative and explanative research methods, using non-propability sampling with accidental sampling classification to test whether taxpayer awareness, tax service quality, income level, tax knowledge, and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance with motorbikes and cars in the pandemic era at the South Surabaya Samsat, and to test whether the predetermined hypothesis is accepted or rejected. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a sample of 100 taxpayers. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression. The results showed that the variables of taxpayer awareness, tax service quality, income level, tax knowledge did not have a significant but positive effect, while the tax sanctions variable had a significant and positive effect on paying motorbike and car taxes in South Surabaya Samsat

Abstract

This research is motivated by the intense competition of the mass media so that it requires mass media companies to package their information with good quality. This study aims to examine and find out how the strategy carried out by Serambi Indonesia Daily in improving the quality of reporting for the public. This study uses qualitative research methods with three informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and the internet. The results of the author's research found that the strategies applied by the Serambi Indonesia Daily to improve the quality of reporting were increasing human resources (HR), increasing work facilities, increasing issue content and evaluating. The factors that influence Serambi Indonesia in improving the quality of news coverage are circulation (number of prints sold) and advertisements. Several strategies and factors carried out by Serambi Indonesia Daily are considered capable of improving the quality of its reporting. This can be seen from the number of print media and online media circulation, as well as the number of customers who advertise on Serambi Indonesia, both from government and private agencies.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, pendidikan dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur kualitas kemajuan suatu negara. Di sisi lain, pendidikan juga berpengaruh untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang kompetitif. Di desa Kradenan terdapat generasi emas yaitu anak-anak yang memiliki potensi untuk mengembangkan kecerdasannya yang cemerlang, namun penggunaan gadget sejak dini secara berlebihan sudah menjadi sesuatu yang menempel pada diri mereka sehingga waktu yang sebenarnya bisa dimanfaatkan untuk mengembangkan kecerdasannya teralihkan hanya untuk duduk diam menikmati suguhan game yang tersedia di gadget mereka. Maka disinilah peran penting orang dewasa untuk menjadi pendidik bagi anak-anak karena mereka termasuk golden age, yaitu masa dimana stimulasi setiap aspek perkembangan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan anak selanjutnya. Ini berarti orang dewasa diharapkan menjadi pendidik yang berperan dalam mengembangkan multiple intelligece pada anak. Dalam sudut pandang multiple intelligece berkeyakinan bahwa, setiap orang memiliki berbagai kecerdasan akan tetapi yang lebih dominan hanya satu kecerdasan, sedangkan yang lainnya sebagai pendukung dari kecerdasan tersebut. Multiple intelligences tersebut harus ada pada anak karena penting bagi anak untuk mengetahui potensi yang paling menonjol untuk membangun personal branding mereka. Sembilan multiple intelligece tersebut diantaranya musical, kinesthetic, interpersonal, linguistic, mathematical, naturalis, intrapersonal, dan eksistensial, religi. Menstimulasi multiple intelligece anak tidaklah harus menggunakan alat-alat pembelajaran yang baru, mahal, maupun mewah, karena dengan loose part yang merupakan menjadi bahan permainan yang dapat dipindahkan, digabungkan, dan dirancang ulang dengan berbagai cara menggunakan bahan sederhana yang banyak dijumpai di lingkungan sekitar anak akan lebih menyenangkan dan efektif untuk mendukung proses pendidikan.

The existence of technology development is a manifestation of modern life that everyone of early childhood to adults is able to access the technology. The increasingly heavy technological development makes the pattern of education from parents for children to experience changes to the number of parents who begin to mix technology in children’s excitement in providing knowledge stimulation to support their education but how does the technology impact for childern, does ut need or kill?. Technology is not a thing that can kill amak in the aspect of its development if his parents can be where they exchange information they get from technology, can be a safety for their children, and performs all informations of children get based on the description, this study aims to optimze the role of children and technology using a qualitative approach with the study method.

Abstract

Tito Jaya Motor is a small and medium business in the automotive sector, especially providing car repair and also buying and selling used cars. The increasing number of similar businesses that are developing makes the existing competition tighter. Tito Jaya Motor requires a corporate identity in order to create a distinctive feature of Tito Jaya Motor so that it can compete with other similar businesses. The purpose of this study project is to produce a corporate identity which includes a logo, dress code, and merchandise.With the design of Tito Jaya Motor's corporate identity which is applied to various media that support in enhancing the company's image, it is hoped that this can have a positive impact on Tito Jaya Motor in running its business and can be used as a reference by various parties in developing businesses, especially in the automotive sector.

Abstract

Stone is a building material that is commonly used as a foundation construction, because the nature of the stone is not easily changed shape and maintained quality even though embedded in the ground. The production of this stone is only influenced by the number of employees (), the number of tools or machines available (). These factors cause higher production. In the data research used is data in 2014-2018, the method used is multiple linear regression, This analysis is used to determine the direction of the relationship between variables bound to free variables, large coefesien korelaso and coeffesien determination and find out whether each variable is related positively or negatively using secondary data types. The results of this study obtained that F_hitung≥ F_tabel and concluded that was rejected stating that there was a significant relationship between the two free variables and bound variables, The correlation value is 0.99973 and the result of the determination coefficient is 0.98327, which means that 98.327% of split stone production results are influenced by the number of employees and the number of tools /machines, and the rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The ACL is a ligament in the knee that has the main function of stabilizing the knee in preventing the movement of the tibia from sliding forward and controlling movement during knee rotation. Rupture is the tearing of tissue caused by trauma. A tear in the Anterior Cruciate Ligament caused by direct or indirect trauma to the knee. Direct trauma occurs due to direct contact with the knee when the knee moves laterally or anteriorly, causing the ligament to tear. This study aims to describe the effect of physiotherapy intervention in the form of modalities given for pain management, joint range of motion and functional ability after ACL reconstruction. Description The patient is 31 years old with a history of falls in the past 3 years. The patient feels pain in the area around the incision, has not been able to move the leg normally, the leg cannot be bent maximally, and the leg feels heavy and sluggish. The patient comes to the clinic using an assistive device (elbow crutches) with a non-weight bearing gait pattern. Results and Discussion: The intervention patients were given in the form of cryotherapy, ultrasound, and strengthening exercises in the form of Quadriceps Setting, Hamstring Setting, For Way Hip Exercise, Qalm Shell Exercise, and Ankle Theraband Exercise. The results showed a decrease in pain in the incision and movement area, a decrease in edema, an increase in the range of motion of the joint, and an increase in the strength of the muscles that move the knee joint. The administration of cryotherapy, ultrasound, and strengthening exercises have been shown to reduce pain, increase joint range of motion, increase muscle strength, and reduce edema in patients after phase 1 Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction.

Abstract

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease in the supply that involves cartilage, joint layers, ligaments, and bones so that it can cause pain and stiffness in the joints. Almost 70% of osteoarthritis is experienced by those over the age of 50 years characterized by the presence of structural damage in the joints. The purpose of this study is to control the pain felt by the patient and improve the functional ability of the daily activities carried out by the patient. This study included a case study conducted at one of the hospitals in the city of Sragen on a patient Mrs. SNR, aged 71 years, working as a housewife. The patient complains of pain in both knees, the patient also has difficulty performing squat movements to the stand, standing for a long time, rising from sitting to standing, difficulty in praying. This research method was carried out by therapeutic patients for 2 x / week in 3 weeks, one therapy followed for 30 minutes. Patients are given therapy in the form of exercise, infrared and tens therapy. Pain was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and Western Ontario and the McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) to measure patient functional activity. Conclusion: modalities given by physiotherapy such as Quadriceps Setting Exercises, Passive Stretching, infrared (IR) and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) given as many as 4 meetings can increase daily functional activities and there is a decrease in pain.

Abstract

Tourism development is expected to have an impact on the community's economy. This is because tourism is a non-oil and gas sector that contributes greatly to the economy. Alun-Alun Contong Village, Surabaya City has tourism potential that can be used as a spear to improve the community's economy. However, this opportunity has received less attention. The purpose of this community service is to introduce tourism potential in Contong Alun-Alun Village which can be used as tourist attractions for the government, private sector and the general public. After conducting a study, in the Alun-Alun area, many historical relics were found as capital resources to increase tourism development. As a result of this community service, a tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) was formed, a plan for the development of tourism facilities and infrastructure, and the introduction of tourism potential. The existence of tourism potential will have an economic impact on the surrounding community. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. After doing the research, the strategies that can be carried out by Alun-Alun Contong Village for tourism development are community empowerment, training on tourism, and improving facilities and infrastructure. The efforts of Alun-Alun Contong Village also face several inhibiting factors such as the lack of human resources and public awareness of the existing potential and capital to develop tourism
