Abstract

AbstractThe majority of the educational background of human resources in sharia banking is general education that is trained in a short time sharia financial knowledge, other than that, the stress level is also becoming an issue of sharia banking employees that have an impact on their performance. This study aims to determine the effect of training variables, sharia competence and work stress on the performance of employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah Sidoarjo Branch Office. The research used quantitative method with an associative approach. Using primary data sources through questionnaires with a Likert scale that distributed to the respondents. Data analysis using the PLS (Partial Least Square) method by evaluating the outer and inner model. The results showed that partially Sharia training and competence had a positive impact on employee's performance, while work stress had a negative impact to them.Keywords: training, sharia competence, work stress, performance

Abstract

The need for halal status and product safety has led to the emergence of the Halal Product Guarantee Act (JPH Law). With the JPH Law, not only food and beverages must be halal certified, but also non-food and beverage products, including cosmetic products and used goods. The purpose of this study is to find out how the relationship between religiosity and halal labeling on purchasing decisions for non-food and beverage products, specifically cosmetic products and used goods. This research is a quantitative study with a total sample of 140 people with data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis used multiple correlation analysis test, partial test (t test), simultaneous test (f test), and coefficient of determination test (R2 test). The results showed that the religiosity variable had a positive and significant relation on purchasing decisions and the halal labeling variable also had a positive and significant relation. While the test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) are at a value of 55.7% meaning that the variable religiosity and halal labeling contribute to 55.7% of the decision to purchase non-food and beverage products.

Abstract

The development of the property sector business in Surabaya is quite rapid, signaling an economic improvement towards a better future. These conditions make competition between developers. The competition made PT Hasanah Mulia Investama consider product quality and price with the aim of increasing purchasing decisions that are closely related to consumer behavior which is an important element that must be known by the company. Prompts in Islam in terms of purchasing decisions, consumers should consider the use of goods not only as a desire to satisfy. This research aims to determine the effect of price and product quality on PT Hasanah Mulia Investama's housing purchase decisions and views on the Islamic economy. This research method is quantitative and multiple linear regression analysis techniques and questionnaires as instruments for collecting respondents with a sample size of 38 people. The results showed that partially and simultaneously the price and quality of products affected the purchasing decisions at PT Hasanah Mulia Investama.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is getting faster, all can be accessed easily via the internet, this has an impact on the innovation of shooping activities into online shopping.  This research aims to determine the influence of lifestyle, trust, ease, price, time and cost efficiency, reference groups, quality of information, and promotion of hijab purchasing decisions through online shop. The type of research is quantitative with quantitative descriptive methods with some analysis techniques used are t test, F test and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results showed that lifestyle, price, time and cost efficiency, reference groups, quality of information, and promotion affect the purchasing decisions hijab through online shop, while trust and ease do not affect purchasing decisions hijab through an online shop.  F test results  show that lifestyle, trust, ease, price, time and cost efficiency, reference groups, quality of information, and promotion together have and affect on the purchasing decisions hijab on female students S1 Islamic Economics at State University of Surabaya through online shop.

Abstract

Islamic capital market as a solution for Indonesian Muslims to manage the funds by investing in accordance with the Sharia. The number of Islamic investors are increasing every year, but its number is still far below the conventional investors. Islamic financial literacy is one of the causes of the lack of education in the society which can be proven by the literacy index of Islami financial, which is 8.93 percent, and 37.73 for the conventional 2019. The Muslim community and the most productive age population make Islamic economics students has a great opportunity in increasing the number of investors. This study aims to examine the effect of Islamic financial literacy on investment plans among the Islamic economics students in Surabaya, which are Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Airlangga, and Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel. This research use an associative quantitative approach. The overall results of the study indicate that Islamic financial literacy have a significant effect on investment plans. Based on the result of t test, Islamic financial literacy has an effect on the investment plans. Based on the results of the one-way anova test, there is no difference in the average of these three of universities.

Abstract

In this modern era, the company's goals have shifted. Not merely pursuing profit, but competing to create a good image in the eyes of the public and stakeholders. This study aims to examine the influence of  ICSR on financial performance in Islamic commercial banks. The method in this research is quantitative with panel data analysis. Samples used was 11 Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia with a purposive sampling technique using secondary data sources from the 2016-2018 financial statements.The results show that the Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) negative effect on financial performance in Islamic banks.

Abstract

The increase in Hajj registrants in Indonesia every year causes the pilgrimage queue to be longer which makes opportunities for Hajj and Umrah travel. However, there are some companies that are less responsible in conducting their business, so that makes some people lack trust in the Hajj and Umrah travel. This study aims to know the marketing strategy aplication of Umrah Travel Agency based on the perspective of sharia marketing. This marketing strategy needs to be carried out in order to increase the trust of prospective customers. The marketing strategies used in this research are the  marketing mix of 9p + c (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence, promise, patience, customer centrism). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the case study method at PT. Nur Dhuha Wisata in Surabaya. The technique of data collecting uses interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of the marketing strategy undertaken by PT. Nur Dhuha Wisata has been appropriate with the principles of sharia marketing which consists of the principle of monotheism or piety, the principle of human unity or justice, and the principle of belief in the unity of the world and the hereafter.

Abstract

Indonesia has ample land and has abundant biodiversity so that Indonesia is called an agrarian country, Indonesian people have a livelihood in agriculture, there are several kinds of cooperation in the agricultural sector in Indonesia, one of which is cooperation in the cultivation of land, namely paron. Land cultivation cooperation has an important meaning in the development of the Indonesian agricultural sector, especially farmers in Guluk-guluk Village. This study aims to analyze the implementation of paron in the fiqih review of four schools. In this study using descriptive qualitative methods in which researchers are directly in the middle of the research subjects. The subjects of this study were those who were involved in the partnership, namely landowners and tenants. In order to make the research more relevant, the writer also conducted an interview with Islamic jurists. The results of the study showed that the practice of paron cooperation carried out by the people of Guluk-guluk Village was in accordance with Islamic law in terms of the contract, pillars and conditions of the muzaara'ah or mukhaabrah contract.

Abstract

The growth of Indonesia's digital economy since 2016 has grown rapidly, one of which is the presence of digital wallet. The best digital wallet in Indonesia is Ovo with the cashback promo service that makes customers feel given the convenience to transact. This research aims to exemine the relationship between cashback promotion with muslim customer's loyalty in digital wallet Ovo  services. This study is using quantitative method with descriptive approach. The number of respondents with a total of 100 respondents Ovo users in Surabaya. The data collection technique of this research using questionnaire method then measured on a Likert scale and analysed with the help of SPSS Statistics version 23 software. The results of this study indicated a low relationship between cashback promotion with muslim customer's loyalty in digital wallet Ovo services.

Abstract

Shariah Supervisory Board (DPS) is the most important part in Islamic financialinstitutions and is the guarator of the implementation of shariah principles in accordancewith Minister of Cooperatives and Small Medium Entreprises RegulationNo.11/PER/M.KUKM/XII/2017 concerning the Implementation of Sharia Loan Savingsand Loan Business Activities which requires the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS). Inaddition there are requirements specified in Minister of Cooperatives RegulationNo.16/PER/M.KUKM/IX/2015 concerning the Implementatuon of Savings and LoanBusiness Activities Financing bu Cooperatives that must be met so that there are noirregularities in any sharia cooperatives activities. This study uses descriptive qualitativemethods that aim to determine the performance of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) inoperational activities at KSPPS BMT Sri Sejahtera Jawa Timur. From the results if theresearch conducted that supervision activities carried out by the Sharia SupervisoryBoard (DPS) with direct supervision through reports from managers can be said to beless that optimal because supervision activities carried out are flexible and not onlycarried out on one Islamic financial institutions. In addition, public insight about theimportance of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) is less than optimal.
