Abstract

Healthy behavior and the ability of the community to choose and obtain quality health services greatly determine the success of health development, therefore one of the main health efforts or the mission of the health sector is to encourage community independence to live healthy. School age children are a critical age group, because at that age a child is vulnerable to health problems. Apart from being prone to health problems, school-age children are also very sensitive to stimuli so that they can be easily guided, directed and inculcated in good habits, including habits of having a clean and healthy lifestyle. The community service activity in Binuang Village, Bangkinang Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, entitled "Health Education on Clean and Healthy Behavior in School-Age Children" has been carried out well in two meetings, namely on 26-27 January 2021 which was attended by 92 participants. Participants in this service are school-age children in Binuang Village, Bangkinang District

Abstract

The implementation method used in this activity is in the form of ANC counseling and discussions with participants. This activity took place at the Salo Timur Village Office Hall on December 11, 2020. The target of this activity was pregnant women in Salo Timur Village, the Salo Health Center Work Area. The media used to facilitate the implementation of counseling were using infocus and laptops where the extension material was in the form of Powerpoints, and the distribution of leaflets to the audience.Pregnancy examination is one of the important steps towards a healthy pregnancy and is something that pregnant women must do. Pregnancy checks can be done through a gynecologist or midwife with a minimum of 4 checks during pregnancy, namely in the first trimester of pregnancy, the second trimester and twice in the third trimester of pregnancy (applies in normal pregnancy).Antenatal Care (ANC) visit is a visit from a pregnant woman midwife or doctor as early as possible since she feels that she is pregnant to get antenatal care. At each ANC visit, the officer collects and analyzes data regarding the mother's condition through anamnesis and physical examination to obtain a diagnosis of intrauterine pregnancy, and whether there are any problems or complications. (Saifudin, et al, 2002).During the period of pregnancy, mothers are advised to undergo ANC examinations. ANC examination is a pregnancy check to optimize the mental and physical health of pregnant women. This examination aims to recognize early on if there are abnormalities or complications during pregnancy so that pregnant women can immediately take further steps. Not only that, ANC also aims to monitor the development of pregnancy, prepare for childbirth, prepare for exclusive breastfeeding and prepare mothers to accept the presence of a baby.

Abstract

Effective waste management can be started from the management of waste sorting independently by the community. However, to increase public awareness to want to manage waste independently is not easy and requires a long time. Because just providing additional knowledge is not enough, so it is necessary to carry out activities to provide skills to the community so that they are able and have the awareness to do waste sorting independently. This community service activity aims to raise public awareness to have a concern for environmental sustainability by not throwing garbage in the river, as well as providing community skills to carry out waste sorting management independently. The target audience involved in this community service activity is the community of RT 3 and RW 1 of Teratak Village, Rumbio Jaya District. This activity was carried out using several methods, namely lectures and questions and answers, Focus Discussion Groups (FDG), and workshops (Independent waste sorting management practices). The training participants are divided into groups of five to ten people. Each group was asked to practice how to sort organic and non-organic waste. Overall, the PKM activities ran smoothly and received a positive response from the participants. Although the ultimate goal for environmental preservation has not yet been achieved, at least the goal to raise awareness, care and provide skills for the people of RT 3 and RW 1 Teratak Village, Rumbio Jaya District to carry out waste sorting management independently can be carried out. Participants have been able to practice household waste sorting independently by separating organic and non-organic waste into the used tire waste bins that have been distributed

Abstract

The coverage of health services for infants and children under five, one of which is the Stimulation of Detection of Early Developmental Interventions (SDIDTK) at the Riau Province level is still low at 87.8%, which is below the set target of 90%, while for Kampar Regency it is far below, namely 77% including Bukit Kratai Village Working Area of UPT. Rumbio Health Center BLUD. SDIDTK conducted at the Posyandu only carried out weighing, measuring height, and body circumference only. Posyandu cadres have not been able to carry out comprehensive early detection and early intervention on developmental deviations of toddlers. Posyandu health cadres have never attended SDIDTK training. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to empower posyandu cadres in Bukit Kratai Village. Therefore, improving education for cadres related to SDIDTK is needed to increase the quantity and quality of services at this posyandu. The task of posyandu cadres is very important and where posyandu activities should not only monitor growth but also monitor developments so that they can detect deviations in growth early. Thus, the growth and development of children through detection of growth and development is part of the task of posyandu cadres to detect early developmental delays in children.
