Abstract

This study aims to describe the location, extent of parameters, level of vulnerability, and flood factors. The research method uses surveys. Data collection technique are observation and documentation. Data analysis using overlay and scoring. The results of the study were: (1) Flood locations in Kelurahan/Pekon Sidoharjo, East Pringsewu, South Pringsewu, North Pringsewu, Pringsewu Barat, Podomoro, Pajaresuk. (2) Extent of rainfall parameters 5mm/day (3.209.91ha), slopes 0-8% (4.377.77ha), Red Yellow Podsolic soil types (3.005.80ha), Settlement land use (2.157.72ha). (3) Flood-prone levels: not vulnerable, vulnerable, and very vulnerable. (4) Flood factors due to flat slopes and land conversion.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan lokasi, luasan parameter, tingkat rawan, dan faktor banjir. Metode penelitian menggunakan survei. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik overlay dan skoring. Hasil penelitian: (1) Lokasi banjir di Kelurahan/Pekon Sidoharjo, Pringsewu Timur, Pringsewu Selatan, Pringsewu Utara, Pringsewu Barat, Podomoro, Pajaresuk. (2) Luasan parameter curah hujan 5mm/hari (3.209,91 ha), lereng 0-8% (4.377,77 ha), jenis tanah Podsolik Merah Kuning (3.005,80 ha), penggunaan lahan Permukiman (2.157,72 ha). (3) Tingkat rawan banjir: tidak rawan, rawan, dan sangat rawan. (4) Faktor banjir karena lereng datar dan alih fungsi lahan.Kata kunci: daerah, pemetaan, rawan banjir

Abstract

This research aims to identify the average score of learning output of the student in geography focusing on population dynamics of the second grade of social science class in SMA N 08 Bandar Lampung, academic year 2013/2014. To identify the contribution between the contextual teaching learning towards the learning output in the subject of geography about populations dynamics of the second grade of social science class of SMA N 08 Bandar Lampung academic years 2013/2014. The method applied in this research was quasi experiment method.. The samples of this research were 60 students. The data analysis method used in this research was T test, independent sample T test.The result of data analysis conclude that the use of contextual teaching learning model in giving the significant contribution towards the learning output of citizenship dynamics in geography subject of the students. The learning output of the student by applying the contextual teaching learning is bettter (higher) than the output without applying the contextual teaching learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi tentang dinamika kependudukan kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 08 Bandar Lampung TA: 2013/2014. Untuk mengetahui sumbangan antara pembelajaran kontekstual (contextual teaching learning) terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran geografi tentang dinamika kependudukan kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 08 Bandar Lampung TA: 2013/2014. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah  metode eksperimen semu. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah  uji t independent samples t test. Hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: Penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual memberikan sumbangan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dinamika kependudukan oleh siswa. Hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan tanpa model pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model, pembelajaran kontekstual

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze (1) the difference of learning result of student geography in experimental class using cooperative learning model of portfolio type and control class using only conventional learning. (2) influence of cooperative learning model of portfolio type to geography learning result of grade XI IPS MA Al-Fatah. The study used quasi experimental method. The population in this study were the students of class XI IPS. Data analysis techniques used were t test and simple linear regression analysis. The result of research shows that (1) there is difference of learning result of student geography in experimental class using cooperative learning model of portofolio type and control class using only conventional learning, (2) there is influence of cooperative learning model of portofolio type to learning result of student geography An increase of 68.83% in the class XI IPS MA Al-Fatah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) perbedaan hasil belajar geografi siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe portofolio dan kelas kontrol yang hanya menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. (2) pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe portofolio terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas XI IPS MA Al-Fatah. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar geografi siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe portofolio dan kelas kontrol yang hanya menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, (2) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe portofolio terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa meningkat 68,83% pada kelas XI IPS MA Al-Fatah.Kata kunci: hasil belajar geografi, konvensional, portofolio.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the impact of the utilization of riverbanks for settlement against the enviromental quality in Kelurahan Pasar Krui Pesisir Tengah District of Pesisir Barat Regency. Respondents in this research were 30 families which in riverbanks area. Method in this research was descriptive method. Data collecting technique was using questionnaire, observation and documentations. Data analysis technique in this research was simple percentage distribution and map analysis. This research result indicated that : 1). The average of narrowing Tuwak riverbanks is 8 meters. 2). A total of 27 (90%) of respondents throw the garbages to the Tuwak riverbanks beacause it is nearer with the settlements in samours of landfills. 3). A total 30 (100%) of respondents said there is contamination is Tuwak river because water mixed with trash.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pemanfaatan bantaran sungai untuk permukiman terhadap kualitas lingkungan di Kelurahan Pasar Krui Kecamatan Pesisir Tengah Kabupaten Pesisir Barat. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 Kepala Keluarga (KK) yang bermukim di area bantaran sungai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis distribusi persentase sederhana dan analisis peta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Rata-rata penyempitan bantaran Sungai Tuwak adalah 8 meter. 2) Sebanyak 27 (90%) responden membuang sampah di Sungai Tuwak karena lebih dekat dengan permukiman penduduk daripada tempat pembuangan sampah umum. 3) Sebanyak 30 (100%) responden menyatakan terjadi pencemaranSungai Tuwak karenaterlihat air sungai bercampur dengan sampah.Kata kunci: bantaran sungai, permukiman, lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference of learning Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning on learning outcomes. The research method used is experimental research method. The research design used is a Counterbalanced Design, that is a design that performs group exchanges at certain times during the experimentation period. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 3 of 64 students. Data collection using test and data analysis is t-test. After the t-test obtained a tcount of 1.72 while the ttable at the 0.05 significance level of 1.66 or tcount ttable. So it can be concluded reject Ho and Ha states there are differences in geography learning results between students who were given learning of Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning but not significant.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Counterbalanced Design, yaitu desain yang melakukan pertukaran kelompok pada waktu-waktu tertentu selama masa eksperimentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 3 sebanyak 64 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan analisis data yaitu uji t-tes. Setelah dilakukan uji t diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 1,72 sedangkan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 sebesar 1,66 atau thitung ttabel. Maka dapat disimpulkan menolak Ho dan Ha menyatakan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar geografi antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran Ploblem Based Learning dan Project Based Learning namun tidak signifikan.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar geografi, problem based learning, project based learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the behavior of the head of the family in utilizing Way Galih River water in Way Galih Village, Tanjung Bintang District. This study used descriptive quantitative method with a sample of 34 family heads who used Way Galih River water spread on IA, IB, VB and VIB villages. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling with a total sample of 34 family heads. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation, and questionnaire. Data analysis in this study is quantitative data analysis with a likert scale. The results showed that the knowledge of the head of the family about the river considered as quite good category, the attitude of the head of the family in utilizing river water considered as quite quite agreeable category and the actions of the head of the family in preserving the river considered as quite quite good category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku kepala keluarga dalam memanfaatkan air Sungai Way Galih di Desa Way Galih Kecamatan Tanjung Bintang. Penelitian  ini menggunakan  metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 34 KK yang menggunakan air Sungai Way Galih yang tersebar di Dusun IA, IB, VA dan VIB. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 34 KK. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dengan sekala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan kepala keluarga tentang sungai masuk ke dalam kategori cukup baik, sikap kepala keluarga dalam memanfaatkan air sungai masuk ke dalam kategori cukup setuju dan tindakan kepala keluarga dalam melestarikan air sungai masuk ke dalam katogori cukup baik.Kata kunci: pemanfaatan air, perilaku kepala keluarga, sungai way galih

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out: (1) The differences on  average of geography learning outcomes by implementing the cooperative learning model type NHT and STAD, (2) The differences on average of geography learning outcomes by implementing the cooperative learning model type NHT higher than  the cooperative learning model type STAD, (3 ) The difference on gain of geography learning outcomes by implementing the cooperative learning model type NHT and STAD, and (4) The difference on gain of geography learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning model type NHT higher than  the cooperative learning model type STAD. The method used in this research was Quasi Experiment. The population in this research was the students of class XI Social year 2012-2013. The sampling was taken by using Puposive Sampling technique by determining the relative characteristics including the mastery of learning outcomes, selected class XI Social 1 and XI Social 3 SMA Negeri 4 Metro. Data collecting tool used was a test of natural resources matter. The software used to process the research data was SPSS version 17.0 For Windows. The result in this research: (1) There is a difference on average of geography learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning model type NHT and STAD, (2) The average of geography learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning model type NHT higher than type STAD, ( 3) There is a difference increase (gain) on the average of geography learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning model type NHT and STAD ,and (4) The increase (gain) on the average of geography learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning model type NHT higher than type STAD. Key Word: Number Heads Together, Student Team Achievement Division, and Geography Learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the profile of miners in Sukamenanti Hill. (1) the age, (2) the educational beckground, (3) the family members, (4) the length of working period, (5) safety tools, (6) the distance of their houses to the working place, (7) the working hours, (8) the amount of money earned, (9) side job. This research used descriptive method. The result of this research showed that: (1) 56 respondets come from productive age, (2) 20 respondents are the elementary school gradiation. (3) 23 respondents have less dependents, (4) 31 respondents have worked there for 18 years, (5) 55 respondents dont use complete safety tools, (6) 54 respondents live near the hill, (7) 48 respondents have high working hours. (8) 51 respondents earn around Rp. 1.850.000,00 (9) 25 respondents have side job as motorcycle taxi driver.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji profil penambang batu di Kelurahan Sukamenanti: (1) umur, (2) tingkat pendidikan, (3) jumlah tanggungan keluarga, (4) lama bekerja, (5) peralatan keamanan, (6) jarak dari rumah menuju bukit, (7) jam kerja, (8) pendapatan, (9) pekerjaan sampingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) 56 responden berusia produktif penuh. (2) 20 responden hanya sampai tamat SD. (3) 23 responden memiliki tanggungan keluarga sedikit. (4) 31 responden bekerja lebih dari 18 tahun. (5) 55 responden tidak lengkap memakai alat keamanan. (6) 54 responden tinggal dekat bukit. (7) 48 responden memiliki jam kerja yang tinggi (8) 51 responden memperoleh pendapatan sama atau di atas Rp. 1.850.000,00. (9) 25 responden bekerja sampingan sebagai tukang ojek.Kata kunci: penambang batu, bukit, pendapatan.

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is expected data visualization through information maps facilities of Senior high school in Pringsewu so that will be a maximum and informative. This study uses the development of a prototype model. The object of this research is geospatial data which is divided into spatial data and Attribute Data. Data was collected through observation and documentation. Analysis of the data is the digital analysis, data presentation, and data verification and data description as the final report of this study.The results in this study: Digital map of the facilities in senior high school Pringsewu can help to provide information about what facilities is owned by Senior high school in Pringsewu description of each of these schools. Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG) diharapkan visualisasi data melalui peta informasi sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu akan lebih maksimal dan informatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pengembangan dengan model prototype. Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu data geospasial yang terbagi menjadi data spasial dan data attribute. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yaitu dengan analisa digital, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data dan deskripsi data sebagai laporan akhir dari penelitian ini.Hasil dalam penelitian ini:Peta digital mengenai sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu dapat membantu memberikan informasi mengenai apa saja sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu deskripsi mengenai masing-masing sekolah tersebut.Kata kunci: pemetaan, sarana dan prasarana, sistem informasi geografi

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the factors that affect the people of Kedaton II village perform non-permanent mobility. The method of this research was descriptive. The subjects in this study were Kedaton II villagers who performed non-permanent about 44 people. The results of this study showed that the process of non-permanent mobility in Kedaton II villagers was done by 44 migrants consist of; shuttle mobility 40 people and stay mobility 4 people. The characteristics of productive performer were the productive male villager in Kedaton II, Most of them were married already. who were being at the ages of 20-60 years with different levels of education. The push factors of non-permanent mobility were fewer employment opportunities and low incomes in the origin area. However, the pull factors of non-permanent mobility were the various job vacancies in the destination area and the higher wages.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penduduk Desa Kedaton II melakukan mobilitas non-permanen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah penduduk Desa Kedaton II yang melakukan mobilitas non-permanen, berjumlah 44 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: Proses mobilitas non-permanen dilakukan oleh 44 migran dengan jenis ulak-alik sebanyak 40 orang dan mondok 4 orang. Karakteristik Pelaku mobilitas non-permanen merupakan penduduk laki-laki Desa Kedaton II usia produktif, sebagian besar migran sudah menikah. Berada pada usia 20 hingga 60 tahun dengan berbagai tingkatan pendidikan. Faktor pendorong mobilitas non-permanen adalah kesempatan kerja sedikit dan rendahnya pendapatan di daerah asal sedangkan faktor penarik mobilitas non-permanen adalah kesempatan kerja yang beragam di daerah tujuan serta upah yang tinggi.Kata Kunci: Faktor Pendorong, Faktor Penarik, Mobilitas Non-permanen
