Abstract

The development of science is increasingly rapid, one of which is digital technology as a drawing tool that continues to grow. Building Construction Structure is one of the courses in the Architecture Study Program, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, University of Surakarta, the use of computer technology has indeed been applied to one of the courses, namely the Digital Architecture course which teaches about the basics of using the AutoCAD program. with its application to the manufacture of construction drawings, this study tries to make a comparison between AutoCAD and other software that is devoted to the field of architecture and civil engineering or specifically to the construction sector. The ArchiCAD software provides convenience in the form of tools that are already in the form of technical functions on structural elements and building architecture. Students really need to be introduced to ArchiCAD to support the creativity of ideas, designs and complete working drawings that are sustainable so that they are time efficient and support other courses.

Abstract

Scholarships are a form of assistance given to students who have good academic abilities or to their parents who cannot afford to pay for their education. In its application, the selection process for prospective scholarship recipients is carried out manually by comparing the applicant files. This form of selection is very time-consuming and therefore ineffective and inefficient. Another obstacle is that the decision maker has difficulty in deciding who will get the scholarship, and there are many other obstacles faced. The purpose of this study is to assist decision-makers in the selection process for prospective scholarship recipients easily and quickly. The dataset in this study uses eight attributes with 100 instances. The classification method used is the Naïve Bayes Algorithm. The validation process uses the split test technique. This method is compared with other methods such as C4.5 and KNN. The results of this research process, the proposed method can predict prospective scholarship recipients correctly as evidenced by an accuracy value of 90%. However, other algorithms also get the same accuracy value in the 80:20 split test, the accuracy obtained is different when the 70:30 split test score with nave Baye is ranked first. Seeing the results obtained, the Naïve Bayes algorithm can be applied to a decision support system to determine prospective scholarship recipients properly.

Abstract

The student activity information system is one of the digital tools needed to facilitate and bridge the needs of students in the non-academic field. This is done to support the active participation of students in achieving non-academic achievements in the campus environment. This study uses secondary data and primary data. Secondary data is obtained in the form of student data that actively participate in non-academic activities that support achievement. Primary data was collected from interviews. This is to get data about the condition of student achievement management in the Medan State Polytechnic. Data analysis techniques were carried out using qualitative methods, and then a website was launched to facilitate the need for information systems in providing services to students for academic and non-academic achievement through the student achievement center. The results showed that after designing an information system through the student achievement center website, it was known that the initial response of students to use was easy and interested in using the website to view information and follow various published information, including active roles in assisting the student directorate for student achievement—both academic and non-academic for the maximum achievement of the main performance indicator targets for Medan State Polytechnic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem keamanan laboratorium komputer yang dibangun untuk memperbaruhi sistem yang lama yaitu sistem yang masih menggunakan cara manual seperti petugas keamanan berkeliling dan tidak adanya sistem penjagaan yang setiap saat ada untuk memantau ruangan laboratorium komputer. Untuk mendukung penelitian, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) melalui tahapan pengembangan desain sistem keamanan ruangan laboratorium komputer dengan sensor PIR, MQ-7, SW-420 dan RFID berbasis SMS Gateway dimana pada sistem ini menggunakan mikrokontroler arduino dengan RFID sebagai kontrol akses masuk ruangan dan kunci selenoid sebagai pengunci pintu. Penggunaan sensor PIR dan sensor getar untuk mendeteksi keberadaan pencuri serta sensor asap untuk mendeteksi terjadinya kebakaran di ruangan. Apabila terdeteksi adanya pencuri maka sistem akan mengaktifkan bazzer dan lampu yang langsung dikirim ke pos penjaga menggunakan teknologi nirkabel. Selain itu sistem dapat memberitahukan status keadaan ruangan melalui SMS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan pada sistem lama yang ada di SMK Negeri 3 Kendal, sehingga menghasilkan sistem yang dapat membantu memantau kondisi keamanan laboratorium komputer agar dapat terjaga secara maksimal.

Abstract

Revenue and expenditure are things that cannot be separated from business actors. Receipts and expenses that occur later can be used as a basis for preparing financial reports. Preparation of financial reports is one of the important things for business actors to keep running well. The preparation of financial statements can also be used for stakeholder decision making. Increasingly advanced technological developments make the process of preparing financial statements easy. The preparation of financial reports that we generally encounter still uses hardware such as computers and laptops. Bank Indonesia, in collaboration with the Indonesian Accounting Association, has issued an application for preparing financial statements that is in accordance with SAK EMKM, namely the SI APIK application. The SI APIK application can not only be accessed via computers and laptops, but can also be accessed using smartphones. The purpose of this application is to make it easier for business actors, especially UMKM, to prepare financial reports. Tapak Lawu Juuoos is a form of UMKM that have not prepared financial reports according to standards. The reports made so far still use manual recording. This study uses data collection techniques with interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with UMKM owners to dig deeper about the business being undertaken and also the process of recording daily transactions. The results of the research can be used to assist the process of recording and reporting financials, so that companies can find out the resulting profit and loss.

Abstract

Machine Learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) that helps computers or teaching machines learn from all previous data and make intelligent decisions. Machine learning frameworks require capturing and maintaining a rich set of information and turning it into a structured knowledge base for different uses in various fields, one of which is in education. The purpose of this article is to answer the questions 1) Why is Machine Learning Important for Education? and 2) How is Machine Learning Utilized for Education? This article uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques with literature study. Based on the results of the literature study, machine learning in the field of education has many advantages and advantages, where teachers can save time in learning activities in the classroom. Abstract

This research aims to produce a learning modules of Adobe Photoshop CS6 and determine how feasible is the learning modules for vocational schools especially class X in multimedia competence. The research design used was based on the ADDIE development model which includes five steps, namely Analysis (Analysis), Design (Design), Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), Evaluation (Evaluation). The type of data used was quantitative and qualitative. The data was collected by questionnaire. Techniques of data analysis in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that: 1) The development steps of Adobe Photoshop CS6 module is conform with the ADDIE development model with five basic stages undertaken in the development of Adobe Photoshop CS6 learning modules are: (1) Analysis (Analysis), (2) Design (Design), (3) Development (Development), (4) Implementation (Implementation), (5) Evaluation (Evaluation). 2) Based on the material expert assessment, the feasibility of the learning module covering aspects completeness of the content, language, presentation, and graphic has been achieved with a percentage of 86.34% (very decent). Based on the media expert assessment, the feasibility of the learning module covering aspects completeness of the display module design, ease of use, consistency, format, usefulness, and graphic has been achieved with a percentage of 84.52% (very decent). Based on the module test which was conducted to 3 schools those are SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta, SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta and SMK Negeri 7 Yogyakarta involving 107 students, the average values ​​obtained with a percentage of 84.30% 147.52 (very decent).

Abstract

This research designs and implements a control algorithm on a wheeled wall follower robot that uses a PID controller (Proportional, Integral, Differential) as a navigation system for a wall follower fire fighting robot. The task of this robot is to walk along the walls of the area. The PID controller aims to smooth the movement of the robot when tracing the track space. With the help of the PID controller, the wall follower robot is able to navigate safely, smoothly, responsively and quickly. Fire fighting robots require a variety of sensors to run properly, one of which is using sonar sensors that are used for robot navigation. This sensor works based on the principle of wave reflection, where in this case the variable measured is the time of reflection since the wave was emitted. The sonar sensor detects an obstruction. The robot will turn and walk again without hitting obstacles or objects in the vicinity. To detect fire, fire sensor is used. This sensor also find hotspots by assessing the intensity of the light. Arduino ATMega328 microcontroller functions as a robot control. The output of the microcontroller will produce logic 1 to activate the motor driver to activate the right and left wheel motors. The DC motor is used as a driving force for the robot, and the battery here functions as a power supply for the robot. The result is, this robot can detect the fire point of the candle and extinguish the candle flame.

Abstract

Sistem pelaporan data khususnya absensi dan penilaian yang diterapkan pada SMA Attaqwa 02 Babelan saat ini masih menerapkan sistem absensi dan input nilai secara semi manual. Semua pelaksanaan dokumentasi pelaporan data absensi dan penginputan nilai siswa dilakukan tanpa adanya sebuah sistem informasi yang memiliki database terintegrasi, pelaksanaan rekapitulasi absensi dan input nilai menggunakan Aplikasi Microsoft Office. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Merancang sistem yang dapat memudahkan proses pengolahan data absensi dan input nilai siswa untuk mengurangi potensi kesalahan/kelalaian dan Mempercepat waktu proses rekapitulasi absensi kehadiran siswa dan input nilai untuk efektifitas dan efisiensi pelaporan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan metode prototype, ERD dan LRS untuk desain basis datanya. Hasil penelitian berupa prototype menggunakan desain model UML, guna mempermudah dalam merancang program pada SMA Attaqwa 02 Babelan khususnya untuk pengolahan data absensi dan input nilai.
