Abstract

The obstacles faced by teachers regarding media indicators are that some teachers still need time to learn and understand in advance about online digital applications (google class, google meet, and zoom), because some teachers are still not skilled in operating these online digital applications and teachers are still familiar with the use of whatsapp groups in delivering material and giving assignments to students. The biggest inhibiting factor is the lack of an internet network so that there are often obstacles in the learning delivered by the teacher so that many students do not understand the material presented so that they are bored and bored in this online learning. So that the learning outcomes obtained online are decreasing. Based on the place where the learning activities are carried out, the learning facilities can be grouped into two, namely: (1) learning facilities at school and (2) learning facilities at home. Learning facilities in schools such as learning tools, teaching aids, learning media, school buildings, libraries, school offices. The learning facilities at home are learning aids and learning equipment and supplies. In general, the efforts made by SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Medan in fostering and improving teacher competence and performance include: Sending teachers to attend training, upgrading, workshops, and seminars. Completing the facilities and various media to support learning activities. Comparative study activities carried out by schools are with a group of interests to visit or meet certain objects that have been prepared and take place in a relatively short time. Provide exemplary, encouragement, motivation and inspire the conscience of teachers to be aware of their duties and responsibilities as teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in the history of Islamic culture in class VIII-1 MTs Muhammadiyah 15 Medan. The jigsaw type of cooperative learning model is a learning model that is in accordance with Islamic cultural history subjects. Considering the subject of Islamic cultural history is a lesson that retells history in the past, so by using a jigsaw type cooperative learning model that emphasizes group discussions with each student learning their respective parts and then exchanging knowledge with their friends. This study uses quantitative methods where this type of research is experimental research. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 15 Medan, while for the research sampling technique used a total sampling technique, where the entire population was used as a sample, using class VIII-1 as an experimental class using a jigsaw type cooperative learning model and class VIII-2 as a control class using conventional methods. By collecting data using documentation and tests, where the test is carried out in one ways, namely pretest and posttest. The variable of this research is the independent variable (X) is the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model and the dependent variable (Y) is the student learning outcomes in the history of Islamic culture. The results showed that the average experimental class student learning outcomes in the pretest was 57.5 and the posttest was 82.8. While the control class average learning outcomes on the prettest is 47.5 and the posttest is 76.78. This shows that there is a significant effect on student learning outcomes in class VIII-1 MTs Muhammadiyah 15 Medan by applying the jigsaw type cooperative learning model.

Abstract

Discussion related to teacher strategies in overcoming saturation of learning islamic cultural history at MTs. This Ulumul Qur'an aims to: 1) Determine the factors that cause student learning saturation in MTs. Ulumul Qur'an; 2) Knowing the strategies used by the teacher in overcoming the boredom of learning Islamic Cultural History of students in MTs. Ulumul Qur'an. The methods used in collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study, including: 1) Factors causing learning saturation experienced by students in MTs. Ulumul Qur'an is the lack of variety and motivation given by the teacher and the lack of manuals and teaching aids owned by MTs. Ulumul Qur'an so that students feel bored and bored; 2) Strategies carried out by MTs teachers. Ulumul Qur'an in overcoming the boredom of studying Islamic Cultural History of students at MTs. Ulumul Qur'an is holding various variations in teaching such as spiritual guidance, joking and telling stories.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the Tahfidz Al-Quran program at Al-Hikmah Middle School, Medan Marelan. The research objectives in this case are: 1) Explaining the planning process carried out by Al-Hikmah Junior High School 2) To find out the process of organizing the Quran tahfidz program at Al-Hikmah Junior High School. 3) To find out how to direct and evaluate the Quran tahfidz program at Al-Hikmah Junior High School. The research method used is qualitative research. After conducting research with several methods above, the results obtained are that: 1) The concept that has been arranged well because of good planning as well. With this plan, it can make it easier for teachers to carry out supervision and evaluation of the running of the Quran tahfidz program at Al-Hikmah Middle School 2) The organization carried out by Al-Hikmah Junior High School is by choosing teachers according to their fields in order to achieve the goals of students and students in memorizing Al-Quran 3) The direction is to build a cooperative relationship between the foundation and the school principal in motivating and providing regular student memorization reports to find out the progress and success of the Al-Quran tahfidz program. 4) the evaluation is done by holding an exam, therefore it can be known through the results of student and student exams. The standard of achievement for students can be seen from their ability to read the Al-Quran well, understand the tajwid and memorize the Qur'an quickly

Abstract

Basic concept learning is rooted in educators and the concept of learning is rooted in students. Educators as managers of effective teaching and learning activities must know and master every learning method or model. Teachers can use the question and answer method, assigning assignments (recitation), discussion methods, and there are still many choices of methods that can be used for the success of educational goals. The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence the assignment method (recitation) has on students ' communication skills class VIII. This research is an experimental study, using Pretest-Posttest which was carried out at MTs Al- Washliyah Strait Large, with the research target is class VIII students, then the correlation test analysis technique is used to test the hypothesis. Based on the data obtained from this study, it is known that the relationship between the recitation method on students' communication skills with the Pearson correlation value is 0.078. The basis for making decisions on hypothesis testing in this study is if the Pearson correlation rxy value is between 0.00-0.20, it shows a very low level of correlation, which means that there is an effect of giving the recitation method on students' communication skills. In this case, the Pearson correlation value in the experimental pretest and posttest experimental classes increased by 0.032 so that there was a relationship between giving the recitation method to the communication skills of class VIII students at MTs Al-Washliyah Selat Besar.

Abstract

Education is a conscious, planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process, so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. Management is an art or principle related to organizing, such as planning, building organization and organizing, movement, and control and supervision. There is a need for planning in education in schools, to obtain success in achieving an educational goal. The need to develop a strategy, in an effort to achieve the goals that have been set. Management is conceptualized as a social process designed for the participation, cooperation, and involvement of people in order to achieve the expected goals effectively. Management is a core activity that must be carried out by every educational institution, namely schools. Nurmawati and Syafaruddin said that good management is one of the most important variables in realizing quality schools. Therefore, the management of a school (educational institution) should not run statically, but must run in a dynamic way according to the times. In fact, Andang said that educational institutions (schools) that have good management in their implementation will be able to become schools that develop and progress. This is because all activities are managed neatly and regularly.
