Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the implementation of constructivism learning theory in science. The method used in this study uses a library method or approach (library research). Data obtained through literature study. The results showed that constructivist teaching is based on the belief that learning occurs as learners are actively involved in a process of meaning and knowledge construction rather than passively receiving information. Teaching methods based on constructivist views are very useful to help students' learning. The following are practices derived from cognitive psychology that can help students understand, recall and apply essential information, concepts and skills. They are used to make lessons relevant, activate students' prior knowledge, help elaborate and organize information, and encourage questioning. Important concepts from this perspective are advanced organizers, analogies, and elaboration.  Teaching science from a constructivist perspective aims to give students knowledge of science in such a way that they not only understand the concepts and principles of science, but also the significance of science learning

Abstract

The study of individual differences in education explains differences related to differences in thinking, feeling and acting among students in a class. Educational levels from elementary school to college level have differences in learning styles. Effective learning is able to accommodate student needs. This is in accordance with the opinion of Sugihartono (2007) which says that one of the characteristics of effective learning is if learning can respond to student needs. Special needs relate to the uniqueness or differences between students. This individual difference in the learning process is the task of educators in understanding students, because they face students with various individual differences. This difference is normal and unavoidable. As a good teacher, the teacher cannot eliminate these differences by assuming all students are equal. Therefore, efforts are needed to address the differences of each student. Based on the study of literature from previous studies, it was found that students need to be considered in the learning process so that students can easily understand the learning material presented by the lecturer in the classroom.

Abstract

Learning methodology is part of the set of scientific disciplines that become its parent. Almost all sciences have their own methodologies. Therefore, Islamic education as one of the disciplines has a methodology, namely the method of Islamic education. Islamic education from year to year resulted in many changes in the Islamic world. Both in terms of religion, education, politics and so on. Especially in the field of Islamic education, due to the attitude of the educators who are permissive and indulgent, many children fall into associations that ignore the Shari'ah. Many educators forget their nature as uswahnya students who are obliged to educate students to have good morals. This results in the child's world being in vain. Giving quite a lot of contribution to the futility of the western educational methods that seem to have become the mecca of our education. So that every educator uses more general education methods, even the methods used in their learning programs are by using the lecture method, question and answer, discussion, demonstrators, and so on. This naturally erodes the understanding of educators and students on Islamic education methods. Actually Islam has a perfect education method for mankind, especially in the field of Islamic education. Therefore, educators return to their hittah, namely mastering Islamic education methods, so that the function of Islamic Education Methods will later help realize and carry out the goals of education it self.
