Abstract

This research was conducted to create a decision support system for selection of candidates for receiving Regional Operational Assistance (BOSDA) in SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Decision support systems are made based on the Web and selection of candidates for BOSDA acceptance using the method (Simple Additive Weighting). The data used from the data of SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The selection process for prospective BOSDA recipients is carried out by collecting data on prospective BOSDA recipients along with criteria in accordance with the conditions of prospective BOSDA recipients. Data that has been received is processed by the system by determining the priority of each criterion and summing the weight of each criterion value. The result of system functional testing is that the system is compatible on the computer on the computer being tested and all menus on the system are running well. System testing is performed on the Administration computer SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The system test results using Black Box Testing using 220 prospective BOSDA recipient students. Based on testing that has been conducted on users, the system can simplify the performance of the verification team in conducting the selection so that it can run effectively and efficiently. Based on the accuracy of the results of the system decision, it is stated that 87% has met the criteria for selecting potential recipients who are entitled to BOSDA.

Abstract

Vegetables are essential food for Indonesian people in their daily lives. One of them is the cabbage plant. Cabbage is one type of vegetable that is widely consumed because it contains sources of vitamins A, B, C, minerals, carbohydrates, and proteins beneficial for health. Cabbage has perishable properties, seasonal production, and can not be stored for long. Cabbage leaves are soft, and the water content is quite a lot, thus easily penetrated by agricultural tools as well as pests and pathogens. Cited from the data of the Central Statistics Agency, cabbage production in 2017 in Indonesia reached 1.44 million tons from the previous year. One factor that causes this is cabbage plant disease. One factor that causes this is cabbage plant disease. The lack of disease control information and the limited number of experts causes these problems to be resolved to the maximum. Therefore in this study, an expert system that could diagnose cabbage plant diseases based on knowledge obtained from the expert directly was built. The expert system is built based on the web using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The inference method used is the Forward Chaining, which can diagnose the disease by adjusting the facts experienced with the rules that have been declared. This study processed 7 diseases and 24 data symptoms. Test results show that: (1) Functional testing using the Black Box Equivalence Partitioning (EP) method gets the results as expected in the test scenarios in each test class. (2) Expertise testing by comparing the results of expert diagnoses, and the system is appropriate and running well. (3) External testing using a questionnaire involving 20 respondents from the faculty of agriculture shows that the system built has a total percentage value of an average of 83% with the category "Very Good".

Abstract

Population data management is a very important thing in a government agency. Information about the village is important to provide information to the community. This research was conducted in Tulang Bawang State village of Bunga Mayang district of North Lampung. Currently, the management of population data is still done by conventional, by storing data in the form of documents recorded. To facilitate the management of such data, it is necessary to make the village information system fast and accurate. This system uses waterfall development method. Analysis, design, recording, testing, and maintenance. The result of the evaluation of the village information system of Tulang Bawang State, the assessment for satisfaction is at an average of 78.38% aspect of the display or in category good. The test results showed that the functions in the village information system of Tulang Bawang state have been able to run well according to what was given. So it can be concluded that the system is working well to help the village staff work in the management of population data and make logging more accurate.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an expert system application that can facilitate users in diagnosing oil palm plant diseases based on symptoms. The data used in this expert system consists of 7 diseases and 12 symptoms of oil palm plants. Expert system that is built on web-based using a rule with the Forward Chaining method to identify diseases. Testing has been done in two stages. They are internal testing and external testing. Internal testing consists of functional testing and system expertise testing. Functional testing using the Black Box method with the Equivalence Patitioning (EP) technique shows that the developed system functions as expected. Expertise testing is done by comparing the results of the diagnosis by the system and the results of the diagnosis by experts to produce a diagnosis of system expertise as expected. External testing is done by giving questionnaires to 23 respondents who were divided into 2 groups to get an assessment of the system. The questionnaire results of the group I (Experts) obtained a satisfaction value of 81%, while the group II (Students of the Department of Plantation Cultivation) obtained a satisfaction value of 75%.

Abstract

Research on Web Design One Stop Wedding Service Information System research has been conducted with the aim to design and create a web-based information system to help people get information about wedding receptions. Creating an effective Wedding Organizer business process for clients, this information system will also help find out what items are needed at the event that takes place according to client needs. This research was developed using the waterfall method with the PHP and MySQL programming languages and testing using blackbox testing. The results of this study can be accessed directly by clients and can be used according to their interests.

Abstract

Computer networks are considered a primary need in the globalization era. Computer networks often used simultaneously at some specific times, leading to a bandwidth overload on the computer network. Overloaded bandwidth can cause disturbances, such as a slower network connection. This study discusses a merge of two internet service providers connections by applying a load balancing technique, namely the equal-cost multipath method. Several stages carried out in this study, including analysis, design, simulation or prototyping, implementation, monitoring, and management. This study successfully shows that an increase in the QoS value can be seen from the test parameters performed. The average throughput and jitter on all computers have increased by 0.17% and 0.68 milliseconds. The average delay for all computers has decreased by 0.9 milliseconds, whereas the average packet loss in all computers experienced a 0.58% quality improvement. Web configurations have been conducted to make the study more manageable.

Abstract

The 2016 Academic Regulations of University of Lampung article 48 stated that; students are obligated to finish their thesis to be avowed as a graduate of a certain bachelor degree. In the Computer Science Department, theses are managed by the thesis coordinator. Thesis coordinator has several tasks, including monitoring the thesis progress of each student. However, in practice, the monitoring process can not be performed easily. Therefore, a thesis monitoring information system is expected to support the thesis coordinator and thesis supervisors in the Computer Science Department on conducting thesis monitoring, as well as accommodating students in terms of administration ease. This research has successfully generated a Thesis Monitoring Information System developed according to the user requirements, by implementing PHP, MySQL, and Nexmo API.

Abstract

Psychology test is intended to measure the differences between individuals to determine the reaction of the individual for a different situation which aims to assess someone's behavior. One of the most common psychological tests is the kraepelin test or newspaper test. Generally, this test uses several sheets of papers with numbers written in it. In this research, a web-based kraepelin test simulation was developed in order to accessible via computer or smartphone. User can do the test by selecting the kraepelin test menu, and then do the kraepelin test by adding two numbers. If the result of a sum was tens, write the last digit only within the specified time. The waterfall method is used to developed this system, where the stages consist of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and black box testing. The results of the black box test showed 80.88%. From this research, “stress test” simulation using kraepelin test on psychology has been developed to someone who will take a kraepelin test.

Abstract

Library website is used as a searching platform of literature information for easier and faster usage. This study aims to evaluate of website services using modified webqual and IPA methods. The library website that will be evaluated are the website of the University of Lampung (Unila) library, Lampung State Islamic University (UIN), Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA), Lampung State Polytechnic (Polinela) and Malahayati University (Unmal). Total of analyzed respondents was 219. Data analysis methods used in this study was structural equation models (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The result shows that the interaction quality and empathy gives a great influence to student’s satisfaction. In addition, the results of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) test result found user friendly website attributes, password and contact person availability, service satisfaction, administrator's response, hospitality and patience influencing to student’s satisfaction in Unila, UIN, Itera, Polinela and Unmal.

Abstract

The University of Lampung especially Computer Science Departement has an online journal that publishes various scientific articles written by researchers both students and lecturers. This scientific article is called the online Computating Journal which is published once every 6 months. But, this online Computating Journal has not been structured and classified into the category of science that more specific. Therefore, in this research the abstract Computating Journal will be classified using text mining techniques to process the abstract become more structured and retrieve information in it. Then, the information in the abstract is extracted as a feature by the TFIDF weighting technique. The proposed classification model uses the support vector machine algorithm that has strong consistency. The model classification will be validated by applying the 10-Fold Cross Validation technique.
