Abstract

Health problems related to clean and healthy living habits are one of the problems that still occur in tribal communities. Based on the results of the initial survey, behavioral aspects, especially the hygiene of individual ethnic children in Pelakar Jaya village, are still lacking, especially the cleanliness of clothes and bodies. In addition, the housing environment is not clean and healthy because there are still lots of garbage scattered about. Efforts can be made to overcome this problem through education with an emotional demonstration approach regarding PHBS. This education aims to increase knowledge and practices related to personal and environmental hygiene. This community service was carried out in Pelakar Jaya Village, Pelepat District, Merangin Regency by 4 lecturers and 5 students. The results of the activity showed that there was an effect of emotional demonstration on increasing community knowledge and skills regarding Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors, especially indicators of washing hands with soap. The need for continuous socialization and monitoring by health center personnel regarding clean and healthy living habits.

Abstract

DHF is a health problem whose number of sufferers continues to increase and the spread is wider.DHF is an acute disease with clinical manifestations of bleeding that can lead to shock and lead to death. Various efforts have been carried out by the government such as the eradication of plural larvae through fogging, mass abasiasi movements, but this has not been optimal enough. Efforts to eradicate DHF can succeed if there is an active role from the entire community. To deal with dengue cases and their prevention special assistance is needed to work periodically in the environment. The community-run PSN program was then monitored by a larva (jumantik) observer to run effectively. The tasks of the jumantik include ensuring the existence of Aedes Aegepty mosquito larvae. A place that is suspected of being a breeding ground for mosquito larvae such as water reservoirs or clear puddles is not grounded, because the Aedes mosquito aygepty likes to lay eggs and lay their eggs in puddles that are clean and not directly grounded. In addition, jumantik also educates and helps implement 3M Plus in the home environment. The results of this service were obtained by jumantik cadres who were in charge of supervising the mosquito larvae in the house so that the dengue cases in Jambi City could be eradicated.

Abstract

Baby massage is a direct contact therapy with the body that can provide a feeling of security andcomfort to babies. Regular baby massage will increase catecholamine hormones (epinephrine andnorepinephrine) which can stimulate growth and development because they increase appetite, gainweight, and stimulate the development of brain structure and function. One of the massage therapy is the common cold massage therapy which is very effective for babies or children who have a common cold. After efforts to improve skills, it is expected that cadres in the Gambirsari Community Health Center work area can carry out common cold massage therapy as a teaching material for mothers in BKB (family development for toddlers). Implementation method with demonstration and discussion. The media used uses phantom babies, baby oil, LCD, laptop, and projector. Abstract

The problem of open defecation (BABS) is still a public health problem in Tanjungpinang City. Based on data from the Health Office in 2018, there is no urban village that has ODF, including the people who live in the Kampung Bulang Urban Village. Most of them still throw their fists directly into the sea and some stills use swamps and drainage as places for defecation. It has become a habit for people to regard the sea as a giant septic tank, so they don't have to bother spending money to build proper disposal facilities. One of the efforts to reduce the number of open defecation, we made and installed latrines and septic tanks in the coastal area of Kampung Bulang Urban Village RW 10 RT 1, Tanjungpinang City.

Abstract

Complementary foods for breast milk (MP-ASI) is food or drink that contains nutrients other than breast milk, this is because breast milk is only able to meet two-thirds of the baby's needs at 6-9 months of age, and at 9-12 months it fulfills half of the baby's needs. Age under two years is a very important period as well as a critical period in the process of growth and development of babies both physically and intellectually, therefore every baby and child aged 6-24 months must obtain nutritional intake according to their needs. The survey results show that one of the causes of growth and development disorders for babies and children aged 6-24 months in Indonesia is the low quality of complementary foods and not according to the parenting style given so that some nutrients cannot meet the needs, especially energy and micronutrients, especially iron. (Fe) and Zinc (Zn). The purpose of this community service is that after receiving counseling, it is hoped that the baby's mother at Singosari Banyuanyar Surakarta Posyandu can be understanding about complementary foods so that the baby's nutrition is fulfilled and can make complementary foods themselves. This community service activity got results, namely counseling followed by 15 mommies which were held on July 17, 2020, at Singosari RW 05 Posyandu. This community service activity received a good response. Posyandu babies' mothers know more about complementary foods. This can be seen from the results of the question and answer, where before counseling about complementary foods, posyandu babies do not understand complementary foods, but after counseling about complementary breastfeeding, posyandu babies become more aware of complementary foods with value. the average knowledge of complementary foods increased by 80%.
