Abstract

The increase in Indonesia's development activities increases people's consumption of more quality construction materials and is easy to reach in terms of price. Building materials with good quality can improve the quality of building construction. The increasing need of the community for building materials triggered the development of the brick-making industry. Redbrick is an element of building used in building construction made from clay base material with or without other mixed materials. This research is a type of experimental research. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the composition of the addition of corn bark ash and ash corn cob appropriately to produce the quality of bricks with high compressive strength, low water absorption, and large density. Additional materials in this study in the form of corn bark ash and ash corn cob. The quality of red bricks is seen from three aspects, namely compressive strength, water absorption, and density. The largest compressive strength was obtained in the addition of ash corn cob by 2.5% by 37.2 Kg/Cm2 and the compressive strength of 49.5 Kg/Cm2 on the addition of corn skin ash by 2.5%. Water absorption measurement of all types of red bricks the results of the study showed all the results of water absorption is not eligible sni. The highest density was obtained from a mixture of 2.5% ash corn cob material of 17.5 gr/Cm3. the best composition to produce bricks with strong compressive value and high density and have low water absorption is 2.5% addition of ash corn cob and the addition of 2.5% corn skin ash. Abstract

The problem solving laboratory model was a learning model that can train students in solving problems of physics concepts which is one component in training students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Model Problem Solving Laboratory on students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Senior High School 2 Banyuwangi. This type of research was experimental research. Determination of the place of research using the purposive sampling area technique. The sample of this study was class X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 5. The design of this study used the Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Data collection techniques in this study were post-tests conducted at the end of the study. The Independent Sample T-Test test with the help of SPSS-23 was used as a method of analyzing critical thinking skills. The post-test average value of the critical thinking of the control class was 49.02, while the experimental class value was 65.25. Based on the results of data analysis of students' critical thinking skills using the independent sample t-test, concluded that there was an influence of the Learning Model Problem Solving Laboratory on Students' Critical Thinking Ability on physics at Islamic Senior High School 2 Banyuwangi..Key word: critical thinking skills, physics learning, problem solving laboratory.

Abstract

Abstract This research is development research. This study aims to examine expert validation, describe student learning outcomes, and describe the effectiveness of Contextual LKS Based Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) Class X Motion Material. The research subjects were 39 students of SMAN 1 Gambiran class X. Data on expert validation was obtained from five the validator is two lecturers of the University of Jember Physics Education Program, and three high school Physics study teachers in the development test. Data on learning outcomes are obtained from the results of post tests conducted after the learning is complete. The results showed that quantitative data validation logic from five validators for Contextual LKS Based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry (POGIL) of 3.53 with a fairly valid category. This assessment is the average of the assessment of conformity components of 3.5; the effectiveness component is 3.875, and the feasibility component is 3.22. Cognitive domain assessment gets the lowest score among the other domains at 63. Classically the average student learning outcomes are 73.61 and are categorized as being moderate. The conclusions obtained from this study are 1) Validation results from 5 validators consisting of two physics education lecturers and 3 Public High School 1 Gambiran teachers Contextual LKS Based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) categorized as quite valid, 2) Student learning outcomes after using Contextual LKS Based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) in physics learning as a whole is 73.61 and categorized as moderate, and 3) Effectiveness based on learning outcomes can be seen in high criteria. These results can be used as a reference for validation of good literary audiences so that the Contextual LKS Based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry (POGIL) can be said to be effective. This study can be used to identify factors that influence the level of mastery of concepts and student learning attitudes so that teachers can determine worksheets that suit the needs of students. Abstract

Practical activities are a series of activities carried out to apply skills or practice something that requires practical tools in its implementation. The purpose of using practical tools is to meet the needs of practitioners in carrying out a process. One of the physics concepts that can be explained through practical activities is calorimetry. Specific heat is one of the observations made during the practicum using a calorimeter. The specific heat of the material is usually measured using a coffee-cup calorimeter manually. The obstacle faced by the practitioner during the calorimetry practicum is that the measurement of the dependent variables takes up the time and attention of the practitioner in the implementation of the practicum. The objectives of this research are (1) to design an Arduino Uno-based calorimeter practicum tool; (2) explain the work system of the Arduino Uno-based calorimeter practicum tool; (3) measuring the amount of heat on the Arduino Uno-based calorimeter practicum tool; (4) comparing the effectiveness of the Arduino Uno-based calorimeter practicum tool with the coffee-cup calorimeter practicum tool. This study uses a type of research and development (Research and Development) with a Nieveen design conducted in the Laboratory of Physics Education Study FKIP Jember University. Nieveen's design research procedures include Preliminary Research, Prototyping Stage, and Assessment Stage (summative evaluation). Based on the results of data analysis, there is a very strong relationship between the data from the measurement results of the design of the tool and the data from the results of the measuring instruments that have been standardized. The results of the measurement of the specific heat of the material using the design of the tool indicate a conformity with the previous theoretical study. Abstract

Abstrak. Hasil belajar siswa kelas 9A di SMP Negeri Pakusari tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 belum memperoleh hasil yang optimal , hal ini dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang digunakan belum mengapresiasi hasil belajar siswa seperti yang diinginkan dalam target kurikulum. Rumusan permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah model Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 9A dalam materi rangkaian listrik di SMP Negeri Pakusari Jember tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 ?. Hasil belajar siswa yang ditinjau dari aspek kognitif mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar adalah 24 siswa (72,72%), pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar meningkat menjadi 29 siswa (87,87%), aspek afektif juga mengalami peningkatan, yaitu pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas 19 siswa ( 57,57%) dan yang belum tuntas adalah 14 siswa (42,42%), siklus II mengalami peningkatan, yaitu siswa yang tuntas adala 31 siswa (93,93%) dan yang belum tuntas adalah 2 siswa (6,06%). Siklus 1 rata-rata persentase untuk deskriptor (1) Saling Ketergantungan Positif (75%), (2) Interaksi Langsung Antar Individu (62,5%). Akuntabilitas Individu (68,75%), (4) Ketrampilan Berinteraksi antar Individu dan Kelompok (83,5%). Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan untuk tiap-tiap deskriptor yaitu (1) Saling Ketergantungan Positif (93,75%), (2) Interkasi Antar Individu (100%), (3) Akuntailitas Individu (93,75%), (4) Ketrampilan Berinteraksi antar individu dan Kelompok (100%). Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa model Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 9A dalam materi rangkaian listrik di SMP Negeri Pakusari Jember tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal UN fisika SMA pada materi medan magnet. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XII MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis yang terdiri atas lima soal UN materi medan magnet yang dimodifikasi dalam bentuk soal uraian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, presentase rata-rata keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Ujian Nasional (UN) Fisika SMA pada materi medan magnet sebagai berikut: tahap menganalisis sebesar 33.13%, tahap mengevaluasi sebesar 29.77%, dan tahap mengkreasikan sebesar 21.05%. Tahap menganalisis memiliki presentase yang besar sehingga menunjukkan siswa mampu menguraikan informasi (diketahui dan ditanya) serta langkah-langkah penyelesaian soal yang diberikan. Sedangkan tahap mengkreasikan memiliki presentase yang rendah sehingga menunjukkan siswa tidak terbiasa memeriksa kembali jawaban sesuai data yang diketahui dengan langkah-langkah yang runtut

Abstract

Abstract: The using of technology in the field of education especially in college is the using of e-learning. E-learning is a way of teaching and learning activities assisted by information and communication technology. One example of e-learning implementation is test. This type of exam is referred to as an online test or computer based testing (CBT). University of Jember has an e-learning called Media Manajemen Pembelajaran (MMP) and one of the features in it is a quiz feature that can be used by lecturers in giving quizzes, tests, or examinations to students. . The research that has been carried out aims to determine the response of Physics Education students to the implementation of online examinations in Lab Management courses. The question model used in this exam is in the form of multiple choices. After students finish working on the questions, students fill in the questionnaire responses which are then processed and presented in tabular forms, then analyzed descriptively. The results obtained from this study give good results. Students give positive responses to representations about using the online system for exams, the interest of students in taking online exams, easy use of web access, online system test displays and questions, and responses to the methods used in the online system. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by a virtual laboratory on the graphic representation ability of high school students in schools. The multi-representation used in this study is a graphical representation. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a post test only design. The sample used in this study was taken by purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted at SMAN Pakusari with the research subjects of class X MIA 4 as the experimental class and class X MIA 1 as the control class. Data collection techniques using tests, tests in this study as data collection containing questions / exercises that are used to measure the ability of graphic representation owned by each individual. Based on the results of the t-test, with the 2 independent sample t-test or Mann-Whitney U test, it can be seen that the output of the Statistic Test for the asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) that is 0.002 < 0.05 so that there is a significant effect between the ability of graphic representation in the experimental class and the control class. Abstract

This research purpose was to produce Microsoft Power Point teaching materials - Google Form (MC.Point-gg.Form) for valid science learning, this teaching material is one of using handphone for the learning process. This teaching material contains static electricity material. This study uses the 4D method (1) define, 2) design, 3) develop and 4) disseminate. This research was applied on one class, IXF which consisted of 32 students. In the teaching material consists of tutorials using MC.Point-gg.Form, learning objectives, material, assessment of pre-test and post-test learning outcomes. The results of the study is in the form of data validation scores for Microsoft Power Point Teaching Materials - Google Form (MC.Point-gg.Form). Evaluation of the validity of teaching materials by experts obtain the following percentage ratings: (1) validation of the material 87,26% with a very valid category, (2) 88,33% programming validation with a very valid category, (3) display validation 90,03% with a very valid category. (4) validation of user responses (teachers) 82% with a very valid category so that Microsoft Power Point and Google Form teaching materials (Mc. Point-gg.form) can be used.
