Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discover how to improve PKn learning outcomes using the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) cooperative learning method. STAD is a Cooperative Learning approach that emphasizes activities and interactions between students in order to motivate and assist one another in mastering the subject matter. This study employs three action research cycles, each of which has four stages: design, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. Formative test results and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities were used to collect data. The results showed that there was an increase from cycle I to cycle III, with cycle I increasing by up to 68.2 percent, cycle II increasing by up to 81.58 percent, and cycle III increasing by up to 94.74 percent. As a result, for the 2018-2019 school year, the STAD cooperative learning method can have a positive effect on the achievement and learning motivation of Class V students at SDN 8 Darul Hikmah. As a result, this learning model can be used as an alternative for Civics education

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang metode pembelajaran pada bidang matematika dengan pendekatan inkuiri di SMP 4 Setia Bakti Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Inkuiri bertujuan untuk melihat keberhasilan belajar siswa pada bidang matematika sesuai dengan target yang direncanakan. Sedangkan untuk metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan juga observasi yang dilakukan kepada siswa kelas VIII SMP 4 Setia Bakti . Dari hasil penelitian dapat dikatakan bahwa metode inkuiri pada bidang matematika memberikan dampak pada guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran inkuiri sebagai upaya mencapai ketuntasan belajar matematika selama tiga siklus mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III dengan kategori baik. Selain itu, selama pembelajaran selama tiga siklus secara umum mengalami peningkatan dari segi (1) aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran selama tiga siklus secara umum mengalami peningkatan;(2) Ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I ke siklus II meningkat menjadi dan pada siklus III sedikit menurun tapi penurunan ini tidak signifikan karena KKM telah tercapai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di lakukan untuk mengevaluasi program magang kampus merdeka yang dilakukan oleh Universitas Teuku Umar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi narasumber adalah mahasiswa peserta magang Prodi Ilmu Administrsi Negara angkatan pertama dengan tujuan untuk menilai apakah program magang Kampus Merdeka dapat berjalan efektif untuk kelancaran rencana kelulusan mahasiswa peserta magang. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya program magang Kampus Merdeka yang diterapkan oleh Universitas Teuku Umar ini efektivitas dalam melancarkan rencana studi kelulusan mahasiswa magang angkatan pertama.

Abstract

Pengangguran sudah menjadi masalah klasik di Indonesia terutama pengangguran terdidik. Pada tulisan ini akan membahas kaitan pengangguran dengan kompetensi mahasiswa lulusan baru dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa lulusan dalam mencari pekerjaan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya dugaan sementara mahasiswa lulusan baru kesulitan menghadapi persaingan kerja setelah mereka lulus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, di mana penulis menjadikan mahasiswa lulusan baru fakultas ilmu sosial dan politik serta fakultas pertanian sebagai narasumber untuk diwawancara. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa mahasiswa lulusan baru mengalami kesulitan dalam menghadapi persaingan dunia kerja yang diakibatkan oleh kurangnya kompetensi yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Penulis melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi penerapan sistem perkuliahan Hybrid yang diberlakukan Universitas Teuku Umar, metode yang digunakan dalam riset ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan juga observasi, agar mengetahui sejauh mana ke efektivitas program perkuliahan hybrid maka perlu narasumber yang dapat memberikan keterangan yang akurat untuk penelitian ini. Maka diputuskan mewawancarai Mahasiswa Ilmu Administrasi Negara angkatan 20, tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk melihat apakah kuliah daring yang diberlakukan pada mata kuliah umum berjalan dengan efektif atau tidak. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dikatakan bahwa perkuliahan Hybrid masih jauh dari kata memuaskan, karena beberapa faktor tidak berhasil dicapai seperti kurangnya keaktifan mahasiswa saat proses belajar, dan daya serap mahasiswa yang kurang selama perkuliahan Daring.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the preparation of students at Teuku Umar University in West Aceh Regency in improving their skills to prepare themselves to enter the world of work in the future which is all digital. This research was conducted with a qualitative research with a case study approach. Techniques in data collection are carried out through observation, interviews, and literature studies as a support in conducting research. This study draws the conclusion that there are still students who have not received something more specific and specific in the ICT field in detail or in depth in teaching the courses applied in one semester. So that it makes students a little difficult to apply computers or ICT widely when heading in preparation for the world of work in the future.

Abstract

The Purpose of this action research is to improve the competence of teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Setia Bakti, Setia Bakti District, Aceh Jaya Regency in the program of preparing lesson plans by applying the CLCK method. The School Development Program which is more commonly called the School Development Plan (RPS) contains long term, medium term, short term programs. These programs serve as a benchmark for school development. The preparation of learning implementation plans is very important, because good learning management greatly influences the preparation of Learning Implementation Plans according to indicators. The advantage of CLCK is that teachers are given examples in making lesson plans and after that they practice with the Principal and the activities carried out do not depend on others. The success of this action is due to the need for a thorough understanding of RPP. With a good understanding, the application of the CLCK Guidance Model to Subject Teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Setia Bakti, Setia Bakti District, Aceh Jaya Regency can optimize teachers' understanding of RPP through intensive coaching in the RPP Preparation program. Then the subjects in this study were subject teachers, totaling 6 people at SMP Negeri 3 Setia Bakti, Setia Bakti District, Aceh Jaya Regency with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. As for the results of the School Action Research, there are 1 teacher who is classified as very active and 5 people are classified as active, based on the results of observations in cycle II. Class teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Setia Bakti, Setia Bakti District, Aceh Jaya Regency have been creative in making Learning Implementation Plans, so that the Development Model CLCK in the Program for Preparation of Learning Implementation Plans at SMP Negeri 3 Setia Bakti, Setia Bakti District, Aceh Jaya Regency can improve teacher competence and teacher opinions are very useful for fostering CLCK in the KBM Implementation program for Middle Schools guided by the author.

Abstract

Learning outside of the study program is one of the programs offered by the Independent Campus Policy, which is a new policy in the field of education. The study will concentrate on student exchange programs, internships, and village development, all of which should be evaluated for their feasibility. This study employs a qualitative technique using a case study approach, and the research indicator is David C. Korten's theory of compliance. The findings suggest that not all PTNs in West Aceh have adopted the Merdeka Campus. Although the Merdeka Campus policy has been designed to meet the demands of students, students have complained about rising living costs and the lack of precise criteria for each activity. The implementing organization in charge of the program is ineffective because there are still activities without a competent agency. The target group, students, believe that the program's implementing organization is inconsistent in formulating and issuing policies, which has a detrimental influence on students. It can be concluded that PTN has attempted to implement the independent campus policy in West Aceh, and that this is viewed positively by students; however, improvements are required so that the results of the implementation of an independent campus can provide the best results for improving the quality of higher education in West Aceh.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out information or analyze the role of digital technology in increasing student motivation. Digital technology is an important tool in the learning process in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 so that in all domains it is expected to be able to apply it, including the field of education, which in fact is students who study three years in school who are the successors of the next generation who are required to be able to compete in technological developments. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach using purposive techniques and snowball sampling to obtain data from resource persons at the State Vocational High School 1 Simpang Kiri Subulussalam City majoring in Multimedia. Furthermore, the findings or results in research that the role of digital technology in the multimedia department is able to provide learning motivation for students to be able to create innovative and creative works so that with the application of digital technology in learners can produce productive students. However, facilities such as computers in schools are not adequate or not enough to meet computer-based education standards, which are still minimal. So, it is hoped that for the next generation the computer facilities have been fulfilled in order to create effective learning.

Abstract

This study discusses learning methods in the field of mathematics with an inquiry approach at SMP 4 Setia Bakti, Aceh Jaya Regency. Inquiry aims to see the success of student learning in the field of mathematics in accordance with the planned target. Meanwhile, this research method uses a descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, documentation and observations made to class VIII students of SMP 4 Setia Bakti. The results of the study can be said that the inquiry method in mathematics has an impact on teachers in managing inquiry learning as an effort to achieve mastery learning mathematics for three cycles has increased from cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III with good categories. In addition, during the three cycles of learning in general, there was an increase in terms of: (1) student activities during learning; (2) Classical student learning mastery in the first cycle to the second cycle increased to and slightly decreased in the third cycle but this decrease was not significant because the KKM had been achieved.
