Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui proses pemberdayaan petani cabai merah keriting melalui Program Sekolah Lapang Pengendalian Hama Terpadu (SLPHT) di Desa Pamarayan, Kecamatan Jiput, Kabupaten Pandeglang. (2) Mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala apa saja yang dihadapi oleh petani cabai merah keriting dalam pemberdayaan melalui Program Sekolah Lapang Pengendalian Hama Terpadu (SLPHT) di Desa Pamarayan, Kecamatan Jiput, Kabupaten Pandeglang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses dan kendala pemberdayaan petani cabai merah keriting melalui program SLPHT dengan jumlah tertinggi adalah sikap setuju dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 76%, sedangkan hasil terendah adalah sikap kurang setuju sebesar 1%,  yaitu hasil rata-rata 81% pada jawaban setuju dalam tahap penyadaran, 73% pada tahap pemahaman, 73% pada tahap pemanfaatan dan 76% pada tahap pembiasaan. Artinya bahwa pada pemberdayaan ini adanya program SLPHT membantu petani memahami cara budidaya tanaman sehat, pemanfaatan musuh alami, pengendalian hama dan penyakit dalam melalui empat tahapan proses pemberdayaan. Sehingga menjadikan petani menjadi mandiri dan percayadiri dalam meningkatkan usahataninya, terutama usahatani cabai merah keriting. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi petani dalam pemberdayaan melalui program SLPHT, terdapat rata-rata hasil pernyataan kendala petani melalui program SLPHT dengan jumlah tertinggi adalah sikap setuju dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 40%, sedangkan hasil terendah adalah sikap tidak setuju sebesar 11%, dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya kendala dalam pemberdayaan melalui program SLPHT pada empat prinsip program SLPHT masih tergolong rendah.

Abstract

The Baduy Indigenous Community's livelihood system, like society in general, of course interacts, socializes and produces a value system that applies in life based on a distinctive cultural system. The Baduy Indigenous Community implements local knowledge in social, economic, cultural and agricultural systems and logistics systems, in an effort to meet food needs. The method in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, which is carried out in the Baduy Indigenous Community. The Baduy community religiously believe in God, the belief of the Indigenous Baduy community is referred to as Sunda Wiwitan who believes in ancestral spirits (animism), in its development it is also influenced by Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam. Local knowledge in the social institutions of the Indigenous Baduy Community can cover several aspects including: social aspects related to trust and leadership as well as community institutional systems, and economic aspects related to family livelihoods as an effort to fulfill food needs. Sociologically and anthropologically, the Baduy Indigenous people's paddy fields do not change the contours of the land, so as not to damage the surrounding environment used in agricultural activities, intercropping between vegetables and tubers, to maximize agricultural yields. The Baduy Indigenous People have a logistics system that is integrated with the rules of customs and traditions, to ensure the availability and authenticity of local commodities as staple food, with decent, equitable and affordable quality and sustainable to be used by the Baduy Indigenous Peoples, in supporting the fulfillment of food needs. In fulfilling other food security, it is obtained from the use of forest resources, plantations, livestock and selling accessories typical of Baduy, as well as woven fabrics to visitors, or traveling to sell, and being a tour guide for tourists visiting Baduy. Social institutions based on local knowledge, make the Baduy Indigenous People able to meet their basic needs for natural resources and existing human resources, and are carried out independently without depending on other parties, in fulfillment of food needs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the effect of the response of paddy rice farmers to the jajar legowo cultivation program in Cibaliung Subdistrict, Pandeglang Regency. In this study using a survey method because it collects information from respondents using a questionnaire / questionnaire. While the research design used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The samples used were 38 respondents which were calculated using the Slovin formula and data analysis methods using regression analysis performed using the help of IBM SPSS 21.0 software.Based on the results of the analysis using the help of IBM SPSS 21.0 software, it is known that the influence of farmer response and the role of extension agents on the Jajar Legowo cultivation program uses the regression equation = 3.828 - 0.420X1 + 0.790X2 + 1.175X3 e. The value of the multiple correlation coefficient (R) = 0.953 which means that the relationship of Attitudes, Knowledge, Skills, to the Cultural Program in the Legowo teaching system is very strong, while the coefficient of determination (Kd) = 90.7% means that the influence of Attitude, Knowledge, Skills indicates , for the rice cultivation program in the jajar legowo system, while the remaining 9.3% was influenced by other factors not included in this study. And from the results of the t test (Partial) it is known that tcount> t table, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, this means that the variable Attitudes, Knowledge, Skills, have an influence on the rice cultivation program jajar legowo system, F_ (count)> F_table, then Hο is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence between attitudes, knowledge and skills together on the Jajar Legowo system cultivation program.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and to analyze farmers' preference for the rice planting system in Nembol Village, Mandalawangi Pandeglang District. This research use quantitative descriptive research, as it’s type and located at Nembol Village, Mandalawangi District, Pandeglang. The research are using random sampling technique. This research use 50 rice farmers, as it’s respondents. Chi-square test analysis are being used for the data processing and descriptive analysis are being used for the analysis methods. The results shows that the factors that related to the farmers' preference for the rice planting system are, age, level of education, length of farming, status of land ownership. While the characteristics, the length of time to apply the planting system, number of family dependents, land area, and land productivity are not related to the farmers' cropping system preference. Farmers' preference for the rice planting system this shows that the preference of farmers towards the mini-cropping system is still relatively low because most farmers in the Nembol Village, Mandalawangi Pandeglang District prefer non-minapadi cropping systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship of information sharing, trust, long-term relationships, and collaboration on the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) cassava chips in the City of Cilegon. The number of samples in this study was 40 respondents, namely the owners of cassava chips Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) and directly related to cassava raw material suppliers. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis.The analysis tools are using SPSS program version 21. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, the results show that sharing information has a positive but not significant effect on the company's performance. The trust has a positive and significant effect on the company's performance. Long-term relationships have a positive but not significant effect on the company's performance. Collaboration has a positive and significant effect on the company's performance.

Abstract

The results of the identification of the potential of coconut farming as an alternative food source in the buffer area of ​​Ujung Kulon National Park (TNUK). Coconut production in Sumur District is 1,181,000 grains/year and in Cimanggu District is 5,509,000. item/year. Coconut farming in the TNUK buffer area is still traditional, namely in the form of granulated coconut and is limited to producing copra products with an average production of about 1 ton of copra/ha/year and a small part of making shell charcoal. Alternative food ingredients that can be developed in the buffer zone of Ujung Kulon National Park are: Coconut sugar, coconut oil, nata de coco, coconut nira soy sauce, coconut milk, coconut cake (coconut cake), and virgin coconut oil (VCO). Factors that do not develop coconut farming in the Buffer area of ​​TNUK include technology that cannot be used, lack of product diversification.

Abstract

Hampir semua hasil produk menggunakan kemasan untuk menjaga mutu kualitas produk dalam kurun waktu tertentu sampai ke tangan konsumen. Di Kampung Karang Mulya terdapat Industri Rumahan pengolahan biji melinjo menjadi makanan ringan yang dinamakan emping melinjo. Pengemasan emping melinjo masih menggunakan plasti tipis yang mudah robek dan stapler untuk menutup kemasan. Hal ini mengakibatkan mutu dari emping melinjo tidak bertahan lama karena air,udara serta zat lainnya dapat mudah masuk dalam kemasan yang langsung mempengaruhi turunnya kualitas mutu emping melinjo.Penyuluhan pada kegiatan KKM mahasiswa untirta kelompok 83 ini bekerjasama dengan Rumah Kemasan memberikan contoh cara pengemasan dan pelabelan yang baik yang dapat meningkatkan daya jual dari produk emping melinjo produksi kampung Karang Mulya.Pengemasan menggunakan plastik dengan ketebalan 0,8mm yang tidak mudah sobek serta penguncian kemasan dengan menggunakan sealer dimana hasilnya rata sehingga air,zat yang berada dilingkungan tidak mudah masuk kedalam kemasan. Pada penyulahan ini ditambahkan pula pembuatan papper bag yang bisa dijinjing sebagai alat untuk membawa beberapa produk emping melinjo yang sudah dikemas. Pada papper bag ini pun diberikan pelabelan agar produk emping melinjo memiliki nilai jual yang menarik di mata konsumen. Untuk pelabelan masih diberikan contoh dari Rumah Kemasan pandeglang. Pada penyuluhan pengemasan emping melinjo ini masyarakat Kampung Karang Mulya sudah mulai menyadari pentingnya suatu pengemasan dan pelabelan pada suatu produk sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan daya saing dengan produk-produk serupa di dunia. Abstract

Pengolahan limbah organik merupakan limbah sampah yang berasal dari sisa makhluk hidup yang sudah tidak digunakan kembali. Limbah organik bisa dikatakan sebagai limbah ramah lingkungan bahkan limbah organik dapat diolah kembali menjadi suatu yang bermanfaat bila dikelola dengan tepat dan menjadi barang yang bernilai. Namun, apabila limbah sampah organik tidak dikelola dengan benar akan menimbulkan penyakit dan bau yang kurang sedap hasil dari pembusukan sampah organik yang cepat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan agar masyarakat peduli terhadap kebersihan lingkungan. Salah satu caranya yaitu dengan pengelolaan limbah sampah organik melalui budidaya maggot guna menghasilkan nilai tambah ekonomi warga Desa Domas. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu dengan cara observasi dan melakukan sosialisasi/workshop kepada masyarakat Desa Domas. Hasil kegiatan program kerja ini telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Februari 2022 dengan jumlah peserta 26 orang. Dalam sosialisasi ini menyampaikan tentang Workshop Pengelolaan Limbah Sampah dan Budidaya Maggot Sebagai Upaya Mengurangi Limbah Sampah. Dengan adanya workshop ini menimbulkan minat bagi warga Domas untuk ikut serta dalam budidaya maggot guna memulihkan perekonomian dan meminimalisir penumpukan sampah yang berlebih. Program kerja ini juga akan direalisasikan sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) yang mana badan usaha ini memiliki daya guna sebagai potensi ekonomi, sumber daya alam, dan sumber daya manusia dalam rangka meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Domas.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by lack of nutritional intake for a long time, resulting in growth disorders in children, namely the child's height is lower or shorter (short) than the standard age. In addition to nutritional factors, stunting is caused by a lack of public knowledge, especially mothers who have infants and toddlers about stunting. The stunting control model is through increasing family empowerment related to the prevention of infectious diseases, utilizing the yard as a source of family nutrition and improving environmental sanitation. Implementation of education carried out by Untirta students in Group 96 of Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM) in Sukamaju Village, Labuan District, Pandeglang Regency through socialization about stunting prevention. Some of the activities consist of main programs and supporting programs that focus on health, education, entrepreneurship, and the environment. The result is the implementation of a work program by creating creative content that can increase public awareness. In addition, the implementation of KKM in Sukamaju Village received a very positive response from the community. Keywords: Comunity Awareness, Nutrition Fulfilment, Stunting

Abstract

Sumbawa Regency is one of the ten districts/cities in the West Nusa Tenggara Province. As of April 20, 2020, 8 people have tested positive for the corona virus. The spread of the corona virus has made lecturers of the Accounting Study Program and the Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Technology of Sumbawa, to contribute by distributing masks and promoting healthy lifestyles in the face of the spread of the corona/Covid-19 virus. The activity was carried out around Jalan Setia Budi, Seketeng Market Area, and several points in the Sumbawa District.
