Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman mahasiswa pendidikan matematika pada pentingnya peran filsafat dalam matematika, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei (mengisi kuesioner). Penelitian ini melibatkan sepuluh mahasiswa pendidikan matematika dari Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. Dan seperti yang kita ketahui bahwa Filsafat dan matematika saling berkaitan satu sama lain . Filsafat dalam matematika memiliki peran yang besar salah satunya dalam membentuk ketatanan dalam dunia pendidikan bahkan teknologi yang dapat membantu kita dalam menjalankan kehidupan sehari-hari .

Abstract

In mastering English, students of English Department need to use language learning strategies while they also should pay attention to their academic achievement. As language learning strategies are relevant to the students’ effort to achieve the high-grade academic achievement, this study aims to determine the relationship between language learning strategies use and the students’ academic achievement indicated by grade point average (GPA). The method used in this research is quantitative research, employing documentation and questionnaires. The sample in this study were 38 students of English Department at one of private universities in Indonesia. From the result of this study, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the language learning strategies use and students’ academic achievement. The pedagogical implications are related to the suggestion for English teachers to introduce and train the English Department students to use language learning strategies to improve their academic achievement.

Abstract

Gymnastic movements can support the physical development of the child such as strength and endurance of muscles. This study aims to find out how teachers' efforts in developing the mobility of early childhood movements 4-5 years through gymnastic movements at tk Negeri Panjang Bandar Lampung. This research is a study involving 2 teachers in class A, the results showed that the efforts of teachers in developing the mobility of children's movement through gymnastic movements in group A as follows: (1) Teachers prepare music and determine the gymnastics used (2) Teachers give guidance to children about gymnastics (3) Teachers arrange the division of rows of children (4) Teachers give examples of gymnastics movements (5) Gymnastics Begins. The teacher's process in developing children's mobility through gymnastic movements has been carried out well. Educators do not have to emphasize the level of success that children do but rather have to look at each child's abilities, because the ability of the child is different.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah penerapan media gym ball agar dapat meningkatkan hasil gerakan senam lantai kayang pada peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tanjung Pagar 4 Banjarmasin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yaitu peneliti sebagai pengamat. Pengamatan pada saat waktu proses belajar mengajar berlangsung. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV (empat) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tanjung Pagar 4 Banjarmasin. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 36 orang peserta didik, yang terdiri dari 17 putra dan 19 putri. Siklus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 3 kali siklus. Proses peningkatan kemampuan hasil belajar pada materi senam lantai kayang sesudah diterapkan menggunakan media gym ball, mendapatkan hasil yang baik berdasarkan KKM yang telah ditentukan yaitu sebesar 75. Penerapan media gym ball dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam melakukan gerakan senam lantai kayang dengan rata – rata nilai pada siklus pertama nilai rata – rata 65.3. Peserta didik yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 11%. Siklus kedua nilai rata – rata 70.6. Peserta didik yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 36%. Siklus ketiga nilai rata – rata 75.5. Peserta didik yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 58,3%.

Abstract

One of the factors affecting student’s academic achievement is student learning motivation.  The motivation that exists in students can drive them to be more enthusiastic to do excel in learning process. This study aimed to determine whether there is a correlation between the tertiary students’ motivation and the students’ academic achievement indicated by their Grade Point Average (GPA). This study was designed using a quantitative correlational study and 39 students were involved as the participant. Questionnaire and document perusal were done to collect the data. The results suggest that there is a positive correlation between students’ motivation and the students’ learning achievement.

Abstract

An allusion is a reference to a well-known person, place, event, literary work, or work of art. The main purpose of this research is to find the allusion in the selected poems of Aeschylus The Battle of Salamis and The Sacrifice of Iphigenia and critically analyze the poems to explore and describe the story and mythology behind the expressions in each line. This research is conducted qualitatively and applies purposive sampling to choose and gather the data. It can be reported that both poems represent Greek mythology and history. The representation is derived from expressions, which are in the form of words and sentences. It is found that the allusion found contains names of figures in Greek mythology, such as god-goddess (Artemis), kings (Agamemnon, Atreus), and places (Strymon). These become the references to convey the meaning and to deliver the message of the poems. Regarding these names, the poet connects his idea in the poem to the Greek story and mythology. In addition, there are three functions of allusion confirmed in this research; those are delineating the character, carrying the theme, creating humor. Accordingly, it is noteworthy that allusion can be used to identify the correlation between a particular text and reality, history, and even mythology. In this case, it is noteworthy that allusion is not only a reference, but it also makes expression in the poem more vivid, flowery, interesting, and attractive.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya tingkat penguasaan keterampilan shooting pada permainan bola basket. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk model latihan shooting dengan modifikasi ring pada permainan bola basket. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Kemiling kota Bandar Lampung. Tahapan-tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah: analisis kebutuhan, evaluasi ahli (evaluasi produk awal), ujicoba kelompok kecil, dan ujicoba kelompok besar (field testing). Uji efektifitas produk pengembangan ini yaitu berdasarkan dari penilaian 3 orang ahli bola basket, yaitu 2 orang dosen bola basket dan 1 orang pelatih bola basket. Nilai yang didapatkan adalah 86 yang dinyatakan valid dan layak untuk digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan dapat disimpulkan Dengan model latihan shooting pada permainan bola basket dengan modifikasi ring pada anak Sekolah Menengah Pertama, anak dapat berlatih dengan efektif dan efisien. Dengan model latihan shooting pada permainan bola basket dengan modifikasi ring pada anak Sekolah Menengah Pertama, dapat meningkatkan gairah dan mencegah kebosanan siswa dalam berlatih. Model latihan pada permainan bola basket dengan modifikasi ring pada anak Sekolah Menengah Pertama cocok digunakan karena ketinggian ring dapat disesuaikan dengan kemampuan masing-masing pesertanya.

Abstract

Education is an activity that is required to initiate, facilitate and increase the seriousness and quality of learning in students. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The method of collection is done by interview method. This study aims to describe and analyze Curriculum Management, Student Management, Educator Management and Education Personnel. And the results of this study are Curriculum Management at SDN 1 Sidodadi, Management of students who have been going well and Management of Educators and Education Personnel that have been carried out in accordance with the function of education management.

Abstract

Online learning activities are implemented simultaneously in Indonesia due to the spread of the coronavirus, Coronavirus disease or covid-19 is spared very fast, speeding to almost all countries. With the implementation of online learning, this research discusses English learning activities using the Whatsapp application as a medium. This study uses a qualitative method to collect data through interviews with various students participating in e-learning. According to the interview results, students are satisfied with e-learning because teachers are more creative in dealing with several media. These tools will particularly motivate students to learn English. Using the Whatsapp Application allows students to freely consult the materials provided by the teacher, discuss with other students, watch videos or view various documents related to the materials. although there are some obstacles in using the internet, such as the connection is not good enough. Students still enjoy E-learning because they use methods that are not boring.

Abstract

Students of SMKN 1 Talangpadang have been conducting online assessment using Google Classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to reveal students' views towards the use of Google Classroom as an online assessments tools during covid-19 pandemic at the secondary school level. The research used a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study were obtained from questionnaires and interviews with all X OTKP 2 students in SMKN 1 Talangpadang. The data in this study were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusions. This study found that students’s views toward the use of Google Clssroom as an assessment tool during pandemic was favorable. Students view that using Google Classroom as an online assignment tool is very beneficial for students doing online assignments during the pandemic, because doing online assignments with Google Classroom is simple, practical, and flexible.
