Abstract

The number of complaints filed by customers on a state-owned companymaking state-owned companies should be able to maintain and improve service quality.No exception PT. PLN (Persero) as the state-owned company in the electricity sector. Notonly distribution office but branch offices should be able to maintain and improve thequality of services, one of which is PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Baleendah. This study aimsto determine whether there GAP atara customer perceptions and expectations on thequality of services based on five dimensions of service quality, ie reliability,responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles to the PT. PLN (Persero) RayonBaleendah.This research uses descriptive quantitative method by using samplingtechniques with this type of sampling sampling nonprobability incidental. The datacollection is done by distributing questionnaires to 100 customers of PT. PLN (Persero)Rayon Baleendah. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, Gap analysis andscience to map the graph of Gap analysis to serve as advice for the company. Based on theresults of this study found that the quality of services provided by PT. PLN (Persero)Rayon Baleendah give a good perception, but when compared with the expectations ofcustomers, found their GAP 5 because customer expectations are higher than on thecustomers' perception of service quality PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Baleendah.

Abstract

This thesis is the result of research on the influence of the Quality of Work Life on Performance BPS - of Statistic of D.I. Yogyakarta Province Employee with Job Statisfaction and Work Discipline as an Intervening Variable. The technique of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to all employees of the BPS - of Statistic of D.I. Yogyakarta Province as respondents. The analysis used is descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis is intended to provide information on the characteristics of a good research data on demographic data or data variables were obtained from the study respondents. Meanwhile, inferential analysis is intended to examine the research hypothesis by using Structural Equation Model (Structural Equation Modeling / SEM) Partial Least Square (PLS) using software Smart PLS 3. Of the 76 employees of the BPS - of Statistic of D.I. Yogyakarta Province, which could be as many as 74 respondents because there is one person who is being Task Learning and 1 more person has to move the region assignments. The results showed that there is a positive significant effect on the Quality of Work Life Job Satisfaction and Work Discipline employees. However, it turns out the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance is not significant. While the influence of the Performance Work Discipline is significantly positive. Thus Work Discipline is an intervening variable effect on the Quality of Work Life Performance, Job Satisfaction was not an intervening variable effect on the Quality of Work Life employee performance BPS - of Statistic of D.I. Yogyakarta Province.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the accuracy or precision of the use of forward rate as predictors for the future spot rate of the Rupiah against the Japanese Yen (JPY) and US dollar (USD) during the observation period 2012-2015. Forward rate is determined by using the spot rate of foreign exchange rate and the difference in the level of inflation and interest rate between Indonesia and Japan and also between Indonesia and the United States. The method used is to test the average difference between the forward rate and the future spot rate by using criteria if the average forward rate did not differ significantly with the future spot rate, the forward rate is an appropriate estimator on future spot rate. The results showed that the forward rate for the currency USD is an appropriate future spot rate estimator by inserting the difference variable inflation and interest rate in the model while the forward rate of JPY is not an appropriate estimator.Recommendations can be given is that the relevant business decision makers should be better using the inflation and interest rate difference between Indonesia and the United States in determining the forward rate for the USD while JPY is not recommended. The second recommendation or suggestion is that scientists can further extend the research period and dividing the study period into segments (discrete) shorter

Abstract

The lowbuying interestof society toBatikJambi is an issueraised inthis study. This study aimstomeasure how muchthe public interest Jambi Jambi batik dikukurof variables ; selling price, product quality andproduct design. The results show, that the variable selling price, product quality andproduct design are examined contained no significant effect on the public interest against the city of Jambi Jambi batik. Should be new break through sand benc markingandor cooperation withother regionsthat have been successfulin raising batik to the national market and international market, so find solutions for problems that occuraround Jambi batik.

Abstract

In this script that has been investigated is the influence of Current Ratio, Net Profit Margin and Total Assets Turn Over to Dividen Payout Ratio on consumption goodsmanufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this research there are four variables, that is Current Ratio (CR) as the independent variable (X1), Net Profit Margin (NPM) as the independent variable (X2), Total Assets Turn Over (TATO) as the independent variable (X3) and Dividen Payout Ratio (DPR) as the dependent variable (Y). The method used is quantitative research methods. The purpose of this research was to determine the factors that influence the Dividen Payout Ratio. In this research using observational data n = 45 on the consumption goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of the analysis CR to DPR there is positive influence and no significant from thitung( 1,091 ) < ttabel ( 2,017 ). The results of the analysis NPM to DPR are positive influence and significant of thitung ( 5,853 ) > ttabel ( 2,017 ). The results of the analysis TATO to DPR there is positive influence and no significant of thitung ( 1,988 ) > ttabel (2,017). There is a simultaneous effect of CR, NPM and TATO of the DPR has significant influence that the views of the value of Fhitung was 11,897 bigger than the value Ftabel 2,833.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of Products, Services and Islamic Banking Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction simultaneously Syariah Mandiri Bank Jakarta. This study uses associative causal research. The sample used in the study was 112 respondents from Customers Bank Syariah Mandiri in Jakarta. In this study the authors used SPSS version 19 o'clock as a tool to test the normality of data, the classical assumption test, descriptive statistics, t test analysis and test F and test the coefficient of determination with a significance level of 5% (0.05. Which is an indicator of independently variable in this study is a Product, Service and Service Quality Bank Syariah while a dependent variable is Customer Satisfaction Bank Syariah Mandiri in Jakarta. The results of the t test performed on variables Products and Services Bank Syariah Mandiri showed an influence on Customer Satisfaction of Bank Syariah Mandiri in Jakarta where the obtained value of t > t table as well as the value of each probability signifikanya showed less than (<0,05). As for the variable quality of service has not indicated an influence on Customer Satisfaction with Bank Syariah Mandiri Jakarta obtained where the value of to >t table and signifikanya probability value indicates less than (< 0,05).For double regression (F test) Products, Services and Islamic Banking Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction simultaneously Syariah Mandiri Bank Jakarta test statistic obtained Fo> F test) and probability of significance (<0,05).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine or analyze the influence of cultural, social, and personal characteristics of the product purchase decision Blackberry smartphone brand in S1 Faculty of Economics and Business UMB. The method used in this research is the method of sampling is not random, and the sample selection technique used in this study was not a random sample selection technique convenient. This study uses primary data is to spread the questionnaire on student / student of the Faculty of Economics and Business UMB generation 2012. The results of the data analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence and variables: the cultural, social, and personal characteristics either partially or simultaneous to the Blackberry brand smartphone purchase decision. Test results F = 321.204, and (R2) = 95.1% of the three independent variables were examined turns cultural variables is the most dominant variable in influencing purchase decisions smartphone Blackberry brand.

Abstract

This study aims to want to analyze the influence of leadership, motivation to work against the imployee performance with locus of control as variable a moderating on PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Medan branch office. Population in this study were those of employee of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero), branch offices Medan as many as 346 people. Sample size the number is 78 people set with Slovin using formulas. Research method used is descriptive method and verifikatif with regression analysis and moderated regression analysis who seeks direct influence between three independent variables and one variable dependent. The results of data processing and analysis proven that: 1) Leadership influential on the performance of positive and significant with the value of 18,332 t count, 2) Locus Of Control positively and significant capable of moderating influence leadership against the employee performance groundless interaction test and test it with the difference in absolute value 3,194 t count, 3) Work motivation influential to the employee performance positive and significant with the value of 13,553 t count, 4) Locus Of Control positively and significant capable of moderating influence work motivation against the employee performance groundless interaction test and test it with the difference in absolute value 3,064 t count, 5) Leadership and work motivation of the influential together on the employee performnace of positive and significant with a value of count 242.223 F’.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and investigate the influence of return on equity, net profit margin, current ratio, long term liabilities to total assets and total asset turnover towards bond ratings. The population of this research is manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange over the 5 years period 2008-2012. Samples consist of 9 manufacturing companies, selected using purposive sampling method. The data type is secondary data which collected from Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data was analyzed using ordinal logistic regression (ordered logit). The result shows that return on equity, long term liabilities to total assets and total asset turnover have influences towards bond ratings. Otherwise, net profit margin and current ratio do not have influences towards bond ratings.

Abstract

Writing this paper aims to elaborate and explore the determinants and implications of the company's capital structure. Determinants of capital structure including income taxes, profitability, and the size of the company, while the factors that influenced the structure of capital is the return on investment, return on assets, earnings per share, and Tobin's Q. This study is a qualitative as well as literature and is done by comparing the results research or concepts previously been rmapan to obtain confirmation as well as a critique of the research results. The concept used in the discussion is the pecking order theory, capital costs, deductible expenses, economies of scale, as well as leverage and its relation to investment returns, earnings per share, and the stock price. The results of the analysis concluded that from several previous studies found that the relationship between the determinants and effects of capital structure although it varies but can be explained by using the appropriate concept. Advice given on the outcome of this discussion is that in the understanding of social phenomena, including the phenomenon of business, you should use a contingency approach and examined the assumptions underlying concept chosen to criticize the phenomenon of referred business.
