Abstract

Learning place values from 2 digits to multi-digit requires various forms of representation. The representation will bring up a variety of Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) in the form of predictions of possible student responses, which will later produce the actual student learning trajectory. This study aims to find students' learning trajectory patterns and determine the factors that influence students' learning trajectory patterns in the 3-digit place value material. The research design uses qualitative research. The learning trajectory pattern was obtained through analysing student responses in the field based on the previously designed HLT. The subjects of this study were 50 students of grade II from three elementary schools in the Kebumen Regency. The research instrument is a written test and field notes. The written test contains four place value questions with a horizontal representation strategy. Field notes in the form of student responses by watching videos during the application of lesson design accompanied by making transcripts to further clarify the word for word that comes out as a form of response during learning so that the suitability of the response with HLT can be known. The results of this study indicate that the student's learning trajectory pattern takes place through the application of a didactic design consisting of 4 types of lesson designs that place the number 0 in different positions. The application of didactic design can also direct students to learn independently gradually. Meanwhile, the learning trajectory supporting factors consist of students' prerequisite abilities, planning and learning processes, and the use of learning resources.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the implementation of learning from face-to-face to virtual. This study aims to determine the relationship between online learning and student learning independence at the State Elementary School (SDN) Lanbau 02 Citeureup, Bogor Regency, West Java. The research method used is quantitative with correlation techniques. Data collection was obtained through a questionnaire to 63 students as respondents. The result of this research is that the calculated r-value is 0.540, and compared to the r table value of df 61 is 0.2091. So, the value of rarithmetic > rtable or 0.540 > 0.2091 indicates a relationship between online learning and student learning independence. This study concludes that there is a relationship between online learning and the learning independence of grade VI students at SDN Lanbau 02. This study suggests the need for collaboration between teachers and parents to develop students' independent learning attitudes during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The use of various new technologies in the learning process has strengthened since the COVID-19 pandemic. The practice has two general implications, positive and negative. This paper seeks to reveal the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers at the elementary school level in increasing their digital competence amid the strengthening of new technology in learning. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods. This study indicates that the development of digital teacher competencies takes place through two stages—First, the stage of strengthening digital competence by following technical guidance on the management and use of ICT for elementary school (SD, Sekolah Dasar) teachers, developing it by self-study through the use of YouTube, making products in the form of Google Sites, and using it in the learning process in the classroom. Second, implementing a post-guidance training program for teachers and students at the school where they work. The study’s implications are discussed within the framework of an independent curriculum. The practical suggestion of this study lies in the importance of integrating technical guidance, teacher’s independent learning, and collaboration between teachers as the basis for developing teacher competence.

Abstract

Parents have an essential role in the development of children's learning. The part of parents is becoming increasingly visible while changing learning patterns during the COVID-19 pandemic because children as students experience several new problems, including the stability of their sense of learning responsibility. This study aims to determine the importance of giving parents attention to their children's sense of responsibility for learning, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The approach taken with the quantitative approach is a simple type of correlation research. This study involved students totaling 81 respondents who sat in class V. Questionnaire is a data collection technique used in this study. This study obtained the result that the value of r calculated by 0.634 and compared with the value of r table df 79 is 0.218. The value of r calculates > r table or 0.634 > 0.218, and the results show a relationship between parental attention and student learning responsibilities. This study can conclude; namely, there is a significant relationship between attention parents and the responsibility responsibility of student learning at SDN Tugu Selatan 02 Cisarua District Bogor Regency, West Java.

Abstract

Human life in today's modern era has developed rapidly with the emergence of sophisticated transportation, information, and communication technologies. However, it also has a negative impact, especially on human characters who are currently affected by technology and are becoming a serious problem. Among the negative impacts of technology that appear and affect the human character, especially young people, are on the morality, spirituality, and emotional side. This study aims to describe the role of religious education in the modernization era as an effort to build good character. The research method used is qualitative with the type of case study research. Sources of data obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with principals, teachers and parents, and guardians. Observations were made in schools during learning, and documentation was obtained on curriculum documents, lesson plans, syllabus, learning photos, and others. The result of the research is that the role of religious education has an important position in character building applied to the students of SDN Segodobancang. Forms of religious education activities both inside and outside the classroom are planting and habituation of being polite to teachers, parents, and others, praying together, praying dhuha, reciting/BTQ, followed by KBM, and praying dhuhur in the congregation. Furthermore, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the habit of planting characters will continue in their respective homes. Teachers always control the implementation of religious activities at home through photos, video calls, contact books, and home visits conducted by homeroom teachers every week. The teacher visits each student's house to see and control the development of student character planting as well as communication with students' parents. This has a positive effect, the community, especially parents and guardians, feels happy and happy with the implementation of the religious education even though the COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of problem-based learning (PBL) models in increasing student learning activities. The research method uses two cycles of classroom action research (CAR). Each process consists of two meetings. The subjects of this study were the fourth-grade students of public elementary school (SDN) Karanggedang, totaling 11 students consisting of 9 boys and two girls. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of student learning activity increases from the first cycle to the second cycle. In the first cycle, the rate of student activity was 63 percent; in the second cycle, it increased to 80 percent. Furthermore, the percentage of learning implementation in the first cycle is 70 percent and in the second cycle is 85 percent. From the average results in the second cycle, it appears that learning activity and problem-based learning implementation are categorized as very good because they both experienced an increase. The research shows that applying the problem-based learning model is very suitable for increasing students' learning activities at SDN Karanggedang, Bruno District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is a subject that is always interesting to study because it is a compulsory subject at all levels of education and focuses on the alignment of intellectual, moral, and skill aspects of students at school. This paper aims to discuss the relevance of an interdisciplinary approach to learning Islamic Religious Education in Elementary Schools (SD). This study has used descriptive qualitative research in the form of library research. Excavation of library data focused on several concepts regarding interdisciplinary approaches, PAI learning, and similar concepts that are relevant. Analysis of the data using a content analysis model. This study found that interdisciplinary PAI learning is part of integrated learning. At the elementary school level, integrated learning is manifested in integrative thematic learning that combines competencies from several subjects as representatives of scientific disciplines into a network of specific themes. Its relevance becomes evident because the latest curriculum, the independent curriculum, does not erase it but instead enriches it with an open attitude to other relevant approaches.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran group investigation terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan materi Harga Diri kelas III SDN Sukamahi 02 Megamendung Bogor. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Sampel yang diambil dari penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang berjumlah 23 siswa dan kelompok kontrol yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Kelompok eksperimen adalah kelompok belajar yang pada kegiatan pembelajarannya diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran group investigation, sedangkan kelompok kontrol adalah kelompok belajar yang pada kegiatan pembelajarannya tidak diberikan perlakuan yaitu hanya dengan model konvensional yang biasa guru lakukan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen soal dengan test pilihan ganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan uji t dari hasil posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan hasil nilai thitung sebesar 6,149 lebih besar dari nilai ttabel 2,021. Serta nilai signfikansi yaitu 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan ide-ide abstrak yang berisi simbol-simbol, maka konsep-konsep matematika harus dipahami terlebih dahulu sebelum memanipulasi simbol-simbol itu. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk membandingkan dampak dari belajar matematika siswa SD yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Number Head Together (NHT) dan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) di kelas III. Cara yang dipakai dalam kajian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experimental design). Dan populasi yang terdapat pada pengkajian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 56 siswa, terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas A sebanyak 29 dan kelas B sebanyak 27 siswa. Kemudian sampel yang diambil adalah siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 56 siswa. Dilakukan analisis deskripsi terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil pengkajian yang dilaksanakan dengan pengujian tes U Mann Whitney, terdapat angka signifikansi sebesar 0.000, artinya nilai signifikansi < 0,05 atau (0,000 < 0,05), dapat dinyatakan bahwa H0 tidak diterima dan H1 diterima maka terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang signifikan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe NHT dan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe TGT pada kasus ini.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode mind mapping pada hasil belajar siswa kelas empat pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Pajajaran Kota Bogor. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Eksperimental. Subjek penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas IV yaitu 72 responden. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik tes tertulis, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil akhir dari hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar memiliki signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 <0,05). Fakta tersebut menyatakan bahwa penerapan metode mind mapping berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV mata pelajaran IPA.
