Abstract

Abstract: College Student Perception of the Sustainable Environment: Learning Opportunities after Covid-19. Objective: This study aims to determine students’ perception as prospective educators at the basic education level on environmental issues and the orientation of sustainable environmental education in universities after the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: This study uses a quantitative analysis approach with a survey method. The population in this study were students of the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, amounting to 880 people. The number of samples taken was 249 from four generations spread from 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2017—data collection using a questionnaire with an electronic google form format. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. Finding: The results showed the diversity of students’ perceptions of environmental problems and the need for sustainable environmental learning practices. Conclusion: In conclusion, although it is still limited, students can already see the relationship between environmental issues with economic, social, and political dimensions. Critical environmental learning is needed to improve the quality of sustainable environmental education. Keywords: environmental literacy, sustainable environment, college student perception. Abstrak: Persepsi Mahasiswa tentang Lingkungan Berkelanjutan: Peluang Belajar Pasca Covid-19. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa sebagai calon pendidik di jenjang pendidikan dasar terhadap isu lingkungan dan orientasi pendidikan lingkungan berkelanjutan di perguruan tinggi pasca pandemi Covid-19. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar yang berjumlah 880 orang. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 249 dari empat generasi yang tersebar dari tahun 2020, 2019, 2018, dan 2017—pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan format elektronik google form. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keragaman persepsi siswa terhadap masalah dan kompleksitas lingkungan serta perlunya praktik pembelajaran lingkungan yang berkelanjutan. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulannya, meskipun masih terbatas, mahasiswa sudah dapat melihat keterkaitan antara isu lingkungan dengan dimensi ekonomi, sosial, dan politik. Pembelajaran lingkungan kritis diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: literasi lingkungan, lingkungan berkelanjutan, persepsi mahasiswa. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) planning of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN (annual state university entrance test) system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh. 2) The implementation of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh. 3) Supervision of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh. 4) Evaluation of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh. This research is using the descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data collection technique is by observation, interview, and documentation study. The subjects of the research are (1) Rector of Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh, (2) Vice Rector II, (3) Head of Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation, (4) Head of Student Affairs Division. The result of the research shows that: 1) Planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh surely had several drawbacks in handling information systems.Keywords: recruitment management, prospective students, university entrance test.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) perencanaan penerimaan mahasiswa baru dengan sistem non SNMPTN (tes tahunan masuk perguruan tinggi negeri) di Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh. 2) Pelaksanaan rekrutmen mahasiswa dengan sistem non SNMPTN di Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh. 3) Pengawasan penerimaan mahasiswa dengan sistem non SNMPTN di Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh. 4) Evaluasi penerimaan mahasiswa dengan sistem non SNMPTN di Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah (1) Rektor Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh, (2) Pembantu Rektor II, (3) Kepala Biro Akademik, Kemahasiswaan, Perencanaan, dan Kerjasama, (4) Kepala Bagian Kemahasiswaan . Abstract

Abstract: The effect of team assisted individualization instructional strategies to enhance problem solving ability, learning activity, and mathematics learning achievement. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of TAI learning medol on students' ability to solve problems. Methods: The research method uses a quantitative approach with experimental research design. The research subjects involved 83 students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 10 Tegal. Findings: The results of the proportion test on students using the TAI instructional strategies show that zcount ztable (1.833 1.64), while the MANOVA test results show λcount λtable (0.122 0.903), and the test results of τ2-Hotelling obtained Fcount  Ftable (8.63 2.76). Conclusions: The TAI instructional strategies is effective in improving problem solving skills, learning effectiveness, and mathematics learning achievement of students.Keywords: Team Assisted Individualization, Problem Solving Ability, Learning Activity, Mathematics Learning Achievement Abstrak: Dampak strategi pembelajaran team assisted individualization to meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, aktivitas belajar, dan prestasi belajar matematika. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui tingkat keefektifan medol pembelajaran TAI terhadap kemampuan pemecahan mahasalah peserta didik. Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 83 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Tegal. Temuan: Hasil uji proporsi pada peserta didik dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran TAI menunjukkan bahwa zhitung ztabel (1,833 1,64), sedangkan hasil uji MANOVA menunjukkan   hitung  (0.122 0.903), dan hasil  Uji τ2-Hotelling didapatkan hasil hitung tabel (8,63 2,76). Abstract

Abstract: Examining Teacher Job Satisfaction Levels During a Pandemic: The Role of Transformational Leadership, Work-Life Balance and Interpersonal Communication. Objectives: The main objective of this study is to determine the contribution of transformational leadership, work-life balance, and interpersonal communication in encouraging teacher job satisfaction. Methods: The sample in this study amounted to 110 respondents. Data analysis using the SPSS application by displaying the results of data processing through research instrument testing with validity and reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. Findings: Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that transformational leadership and interpersonal communication contributes positively and significantly to job satisfaction. The results of subsequent studies confirmed that work-life balance contributed positively but not significantly to job satisfaction. Conclusions: The role of transformational leadership supported by interpersonal communication and good work life balance is needed by teachers to carry out activities, especially during the current pandemic.Keywords: transformational leadership, work-life balance, interpersonal communications, teacher job satisfaction.Abstrak: Mengkaji Tingkat Kepuasan Kerja Guru Saat Pandemi: Peran Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Keseimbangan Kehidupan Kerja dan Komunikasi Interpersonal. Tujuan: Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi dari kepemimpinan transformasional, work life balance dan komunikasi interpersonal dalam mendorong kepuasan kerja guru. Metode: Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 110 responden. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dengan menampilkan hasil pengolahan data melalui uji instrumen penelitian dengan uji validitas dan reabilitas, analisis regresi berganda, koefisien determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Temuan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan yang menyatakan transformational leadership dan interpersonal communication berkontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian selanjutnya mengkonfirmasi work life balance berkontribusi positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kesimpulan: peran kepemimpinan transformasional yang didukung dengan komunikasi interpersonal dan work life balance yang baik sangatlah dibutuhkan oleh para guru untuk menjalankan aktivitas khususnya di masa pandemi saat ini.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan transformasional, work life balance, komunikasi interpersonal, kepuasan kerja guru.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i2.202202

Abstract

Abstract Explosion Box as Learning Media of Ecosystem Components for Elementary School Student. Objective This research aims to describe the development of explosion box as learning media to deal with bored student in science learning to use textbooks. Method: Development of learning media in this study is implementing the Borg and Gall. Field test were conducted on 5th grade elementary school students in Blitar, Indonesia. Finding The results showed that the Explosion Box as learning media was valid category with a material expert validation 93.3 percent; design expert validation 90percent expert validation 90percent. Results of trials: small group is 95.4percent and large group is 94.4percent. Data pre-test and post-test results before using product is 70.3 and after using product is 85.9. Conclusion Expert validation and student response questionnaires revealed that Explosion Box as learning media was very interesting and useful so that students do not get bored in the learning process.Keywords Elementary school student, Explosion Box, learning media. Abstrak Media Pembelajaran Explosion Box Materi Komponen Ekosistem untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang pengembangan media pembelajaran Explosion Box untuk menjawab kebosanan siswa dalam belajar menggunakan textbooks. Metode Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mengacu pada jenis pengembangan menurut Borg dan Gall. Uji coba lapangan dilakukan pada siswa kelas 5 SD di Blitar, Indonesia. Temuan Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Explosion Box dinyatakan valid, dengan validasi ahli materi 93,3 persen, ahli desain: 90 persen, ahli pembelajaran 93,3persen. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan kelompok kecil 95,4 persen dan kelompok besar 94,4 persen. Data hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebelum menggunakan produk sebesar 70,3 dan setelah menggunakan produk sebesar 85,9. Kesimpulan Validasi ahli dan respon siswa menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran Explosion Box sangat menarik dan membantu siswa tidak bosan dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci Siswa sekolah dasar, Explosion Box, media pembelajaran.DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v11.i2.202115

Abstract

The school committee as a partner organization of the school has a strategic role to develop the school component effectively. This study aimed to describe the role of the school committee in developing a school cooperative. In particular, this study aimed to describe the role of the school committee, the efforts of the committee in junior high school Bandar Lampung and to develop a schools cooperative partnership model and school committees. The focus of this research study was the role of the school committee to develop entrepreneurship through a cooperative effort of schools and school committees to establish a school cooperative. This study used qualitative research methods and used developmental research model. Data collection techniques used in this study were participant observation, documentation study, and development models. Techniques for the validity of the data were using triangulation data. The results from this study indicated that the school committee can play a role in the development of entrepreneurship in the school principals, educators, parents, and the community by involving principals, educators, parents, and communities to determine their potential.Keywords: school committees, school cooperatives, entrepreneurshipKomite sekolah sebagai organisasi mitra sekolah memiliki peran strategis untuk mengembangkan komponen sekolah secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran komite sekolah dalam mengembangkan koperasi sekolah. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran komite sekolah, usaha-usaha komite sekolah di SMP di Kota Bandar Lampung serta mengembangkan model kemitraan koperasi sekolah dan komite sekolah. Fokus penelitian penelitian ini adalah peran komite sekolah dalam mengembangkan kewirausahaan melalui koperasi sekolah serta upaya komite sekolah dalam membangun koperasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan rancangan riset pengembangan model. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi partisipan, studi dokumentasi dan pengembangan model. Teknik untuk keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komite sekolah dapat berperan dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan pada kepala sekolah, tenaga pendidik, orang tua siswa, dan masyarakat dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, tenaga pendidik, orang tua siswa, dan masyarakat agar mengetahui potensi mereka.Kata kunci: komite sekolah, koperasi sekolah, kewirausahaan

Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menggambarkan penerapan GBA di kelas, untuk mengetahuibagaimana GBA mempermudah siswa dalam menulis teks eksposisi analitis, dan untukmengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap GBA dalam menulis teks eksposisi analitis. Datadalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari kuesioner dan uji pre-post tes. Data dari uji pre dan posttes untuk mengetahui peningkatan siswa dalam menulis teks eksposisi analisis yang diberikandengan menggunakan perbandingan T-test. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memilikipersepsi positif dalam belajar menulis teks eksposisi analitis melalui pendekatan GBA.This study investigated the Genre-Based Approach (GBA) in teaching writing the analytical exposition text. This study tried to describe GBA application in the class, to know how GBA led to studentswriting analytical exposition text, and to know students perception toward GBA in writing analyticalexposition text. Data in this study were obtained from questionnaires and pretest-post test. Data from pretest-post test, to know the improvement of the students writing analytical exposition textwere administered by using Match T-test. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the factors at the individual level that may affect the auditor attitudes towards knowledge sharing behavior and the factor surround lying the increasing or reducing of knowledge sharing behaviors performed by auditors. The data needed is obtained by using a questionnaire containing points of measuring constructs of the variables used in the model study. Primary data were obtained at 153 answers from questionnaires filled out by auditors who work in public accounting firms registered with the Capital Market Supervisory Agency (BAPEPAM). Five hypothesis proposed in this study are: first, it states that extrinsic motivation negatively affect the auditor's knowledge sharing attitudes; second, the absorptive capacity has positive influence on the attitude of the auditor regarding knowledge sharing; third, organizational commitment has a positive effect the auditor's knowledge sharing attitudes, fourth, subjective norm has positive influence on the attitude of the auditor regarding knowledge sharing, and the fifth, the sense of self-worth positive effect on the auditor's knowledge sharing attitude.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor pada tingkat individu yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap auditor terhadap perilaku pembagian pengetahuan dan faktor yang sekitar yang menyebabkan tinggi atau rendahnya perilaku pembagian pengetahuan yang dilakukan oleh auditor. Data yang diperlukan diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi butir mengukur konstruk variabel yang digunakan dalam model pembelajaran. Data primer diperoleh dari 153 jawaban dari kuesioner yang diisi oleh auditor yang bekerja di kantor akuntan publik yang terdaftar di Badan Pengawas Pasar Modal (BAPEPAM). Lima hipotesis yang diajukan diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: hipotesis pertama menyatakan bahwa motivasi ekstrinsik berpengaruh negatif terhadap pembagian pengetahuan auditor, hipotesis kedua menyatakan bahwa daya serap berpengaruh positif terhadap sikap auditor mengenai pembagian pengetahuan, hipotesis ketiga menyatakan bahwa komitmen organisasi memiliki efek positif sikap pembagian pengetahuan auditor, hipotesis keempat menyatakan bahwa norma subjektif berpengaruh positif terhadap sikap auditor mengenai pembagian pengetahuan, dan hipotesis kelima menyatakan bahwa rasa menghargai diri sendiri sebagai efek positif dari sikap pembagian pengetahuan auditor.Kata kunci: komitmen organisasi, motivasi ekstrinsik, pembagian pengetahuan, reasoned action, self-worth.

Abstract

Abstract: Analyzing the Antecedents and Consequences of Teacher Job Satisfaction in the Digital 4.0 Era. Objectives: This research analyzes the antecedents and consequences of teacher job satisfaction in the digital 4.0 era. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with a theoretical model assessed by PLS-SEM analysis. The sampling technique was oriented to purposive sampling, so the samples obtained were 125 teachers. Findings: The results of this research suggest that principal supervision has no significant effect on teacher job satisfaction, while compensation significantly affects teacher job satisfaction. The results of this research also confirm that teacher job satisfaction significantly affects organizational citizenship behavior and teacher performance. Conclusion: This study concludes that the principal supervision program must be realized in implementing clinical and non-clinical supervision programs. Job satisfaction shown by teachers can directly improve organizational citizenship behavior and teacher performance.Keywords: teacher job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, teacher performance.Abstrak: Menganalisis Anteseden dan Konsekuensi Kepuasan Kerja Guru di Era Digital 4.0. Tujuan: Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis anteseden dan konsekuensi kepuasan kerja guru di era digital 4.0. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model teoritis yang dinilai dengan analisis PLS-SEM. Teknik pengambilan sampel berorientasi pada purposive sampling, sehingga perolehan sampel berjumlah 125 orang guru. Temuan: Hasil dari riset ini mengemukakan principal supervision berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap teacher job satisfaction sedangkan compensation berpengaruh signifikan terhadap teacher job satisfaction. Hasil dari riset ini juga mengkonfirmasi bahwa teacher job satisfaction berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour dan teacher performance. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan program supervisi kepala sekolah harus diwujudkan dalam pelaksanaan program supervisi klinis dan nonklinis. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was: to find out: the programs, strategies, and constraints faced by school principals in improving the quality of education in the Elementary School in Cluster VI of Geumpang Geumpang Pidie Regency. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are: interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The research subjects were: school principals, vice principals, and teachers. The results showed that: (1) The planning of the principals program in improving the quality of education has been prepared, but is not well detailed, (2) Implementation of education quality improvement programs by implementing democratic leadership strategies. In facing teachers, principals often exchange ideas with teachers, so find an effective way to improve their performance in the development of the learning process, and (3) The obstacles encountered by principals in improving the quality of education include: lack of available funds for teacher training outside official hours, there are still teachers who are less active, and the results of upgrading have not been able to be socialized to their friends.Keywords: principal leadership, educational quality, elementary school.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengetahui: program, strategi, dan kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD Gugus VI Geumpang Geumpang Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah: kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan program kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan telah disusun, namun belum terinci dengan baik, (2) Pelaksanaan program peningkatan mutu pendidikan dengan menerapkan strategi kepemimpinan demokratis. Dalam menghadapi guru, kepala sekolah sering bertukar pikiran dengan guru, sehingga menemukan cara yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya dalam pengembangan proses pembelajaran, dan (3) Kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan antara lain: kurangnya dana yang tersedia untuk pelatihan guru di luar jam dinas, masih ada guru yang kurang aktif, dan hasil penataran belum dapat disosialisasikan kepada teman mereka.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kualitas pendidikan, sekolah dasar.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v11.i3.202108
