Abstract

Abstract The Students Attitude and Learning Experience toward Flipped Classroom Implementation in ESP Class during COVID-19 Outbreak A Survey Study. Objective This study was to determine student attitudes and learning experiences related to the application of Flipped Classroom (FC) in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method A quantitative approach is used in this study by taking respondents from four classes of students in the engineering faculty at a university in Papua. Respondents of this study amounted to 200 who fill online questionnaire. The responses obtained were then analyzed using SPSS 23. Findings Based on data analysis, students had a neutral attitude and have a reasonably good level of learning experience towards the application of FC. Conclusion Application of FC strategies has benefits to be applied, especially in learning during the pandemic COVID-19.Keywords flipped classroom, student attitudes, learning experiences, digital learning, COVID-19. Abstrak Sikap dan Pengalaman Belajar Mahasiswa Terhadap Penerapan Flipped Classroom di Kelas ESP Selama Pandemi COVID-19 Penelitian Survey. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sikap dan pengalaman belajar mahasiswa terkait penerapan Flipped Classroom (FC) pada kelas Bahasa Inggris untuk Tujuan Khusus (ESP) di masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan mengambil responden dari empat kelas mahasiswa di fakultas teknik pada salah satu universitas di Papua. Responden dari penelitian ini berjumlah 200 yang mengisi kuesioner secara online. Respon yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 23. Temuan Berdasarkan analisis data, mahasiswa memiliki sikap yang netral dan tingkat pengalaman belajar cukup baik terhadap penerapan FC. Kesimpulan Penerapan penggunaan FC memiliki manfaat untuk diterapkan khususnya dalam pembelajaran selama pandemi COVID-19. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of IPS about the activities and natural resources through a model picture and picture in the fourth grade of SDN 09 Pagi Rawamangun, Pulogadung in East Jakarta. The research wasconducted at SDN Rawamangun 09 Pagi, which is located at Jalan Pemuda No.06 Jakarta Sub Rawamangun Kec.Pulogadung Timur. The study was conducted during one month, in January 2016 in the 2nd half of the school year 2015-2016. This research method was using classroom action research cycle model of Stephen Kemmis and Mc. Taggart with 4 stages of each cycle including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research shows the data obtained from the learning process in improving student learning outcomes using the model picture and picture. 55.17% in the first cycle, the second cycle of 89.65%, thus the model picture and picture can improve student learning outcomes.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS tentang aktivitas dan sumber daya alam melalui model picture and picture di kelas IV SDN Rawamangun 09 Pagi, Pulogadung Jakarta Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Rawamangun 09 Pagi, yang berlokasi di Jalan Pemuda No.06 Kelurahan Rawamangun Kec.Pulogadung Jakarta Timur.Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan yaitu bulan Januari tahun 2016 pada semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2015-2016. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model siklus dari Stephen Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan 4 tahap setiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan data yang diperoleh dari proses pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model picture and picture. Pada siklus I 55,17%, pada siklus II 89,65%, dengan demikian model picture and picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar IPS, model picture and picture, aktivitas ekonomi dan sumber daya alam

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using inquiry learning model with multiple representation as an effort to enhance the cognitive skill of senior high school students toward static fluid subject matter. The method used experiment quasi with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Experiment class was treated by Inquiry learning model with multiple representation while control class was treated by conventional learning. Data were collected by cognitive skill in multiple choice test with reasoning, observation sheet and questionnaire. The results showed that Inquiry learning model with multiple representation can enhance the cognitive skill compared with conventional learning. Based average of normalized gain cognitive skill both class showed that implementation of inquiry learning model with multiple representation more effective to enhance concept mastery than conventional learning model. The student gives a good perception toward inquiry learning model with multiple representation.Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan representasi multipel untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa sekolah menengah atas terhadap materi fluida ststis. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan “ desain kelompok kontrol acak pre-test posttest”. Kelas eksperimen mendapatkan model pembelajran inkuiri dengan representasi multipel sedangkan kelas ontrol mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes pilihan ganda kemampuan kognitif dengan lembar alasan, pengamatan dan kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan representasi multipel dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata data normal kemampuan kognitif kedua kelas yang diteliti menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran inkuiri lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Siswa memberikan persepsi yang baik terhadap implementasi model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan representasi multipel.Kata kunci: kemampuan kognitif, model pembelajaran inkuiri, representasi multipel.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Multimedia-Based CIRC Learning Model on Thematic Learning Outcomes. Objectives: The low students learning outcomes encourage this study to analyze and determine the effect of the implementation of the multimedia-based Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on the students thematic learning outcomes. Methods: Quasi-experimental and quantitative approaches were employed in this study with a non-equivalent control group design. The purposive sampling technique was used in determining the research sample from a total population of 59 students. The data were collected through test and non-test techniques. Findings: Based on the hypothesis test using a simple regression formula, the data obtained that Fcount more than Ftable, i.e, 9.19 more than 4.20, which has a positive and significant effect on students learning outcomes after the implementation of the CIRC model combined with multimedia. Conclusion: The CIRC learning model applied is concluded as an effective learning model as it could improve students learning outcomes.Keywords: CIRC, multimedia, learning outcome.Abstrak: Dampak Model Pembelajaran CIRC Berbasis Multimedia terhadap Hasil Belajar Tematik. Tujuan: Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa mendorong penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran CIRC berbasis multimedia terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik. Metode: Eksperimen kuasi dan pendekatan kuantitatif diterapkan dalam penelitian ini dengan non-equivalent control group design. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan dalam menentukan sample penelitian dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 59 peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes dan non-tes. Temuan: Berdasarkan tes hipotesis menggunakan rumus regresi sederhana, didapatkan data bahwa Fhitung lebih dari F tabel yaitu 9,19 lebih dari 4,20, yang mana terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan model CIRC yang dikombinasi dengan multimedia. Kesimpulan: Model pembelajaran CIRC yang diterapkan disimpulkan sebagai model pembelajaran yang efektif karena dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: CIRC, multimedia, hasil belajar.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202204/

Abstract

Abstract: Understanding the Concept and the Character of Caring for the Environment of Junior High School Students in Indonesia. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students’ responses to the cultural values of the inner tribe, the character of students’ environmental care, and student learning outcomes on environmental materials. Methods: This type of research is a mixed method research with an explanatory design. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with the research sample being class VIII students at SMPN 01 Muaro Jambi and SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi. Findings: Based on the results of the correlation test with the results of the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.05 concluded that there is a relationship between students’ responses to the cultural values of the inner tribe, the character of caring for the environment and student learning outcomes in both schools.Keywords: Environmental Care Character, Inner Tribe, Conservation, Natural ScienceAbstrak: Memahami Konsep dan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan Siswa SMP di Indonesia. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara respon siswa terhadap nilai budaya suku anak dalam, karakter peduli lingkungan siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi lingkungan hidup. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian mix method dengan desain explanatori. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa purposive sampling dengan sampel penelitiannya yaitu siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 01 Muaro Jambi dan SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi. Abstract

Abstract: The effect multiple representation-based scaffolding strategy in improving chemistry literacy. Objective: This study aims tyo understand the effectiveness of multiple representations-based scaffolding strateg in the topics of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions to improve the chemistry literacy skills. Method: The research used a quasi-experiment design. The subjects were 78 students of the tenth grade at SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung. The data  were analyzed using Tukey test and effect size. Findings: The increase in chemistry literacy abilities of the students in the experimental class was 96.00% influenced by the application of multiple representations learning with scaffolding strategy; meanwhile, it was only 89.00% for control class with no scaffolding. Conclusion:  The scaffolding strategy based on multiple-representation in chemistry learning had a high level of effectiveness in improving chemistry literacy skills.Keywords: Effectiveness, scaffolding, multiple representations, chemistry literacy. Abstrak: Efektivitas strategi scaffolding berbasis multipel representasi dalam meningkatkan literasi kimia. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami efektivitas strategi perancah berbasis representasi ganda dalam topik solusi elektrolit dan non-elektrolit untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi kimia. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah 78 siswa kelas X SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung. Data dianalisis menggunakan  uji  Tukey dan  effect size.  Temuan: Peningkatan  kemampuan literasi kimia siswa dikelas eksperimen adalah 96,00% dipengaruhi oleh penerapan pembelajaran representasi ganda dengan strategi scaffolding; Sementara itu, hanya 89,00% untuk kelas kontrol tanpa scaffolding. Abstract

Abstract: Evaluating Educational Concepts Mastery of Prospective Teachers in Ambon: An-ex-post-facto Study from Comprehensive Examination Result. Objectives: This study aims to describe prospective teachers education field comprehensive examination results. Methods: A descriptive ex-post-facto method is employed to obtain data from students who took the final project on three study programs (Islamic Education, Biology Education, and Mathematics Education) in one of Ambons Education Institutes of Education Personnel. Through observation and documentation, comprehensive examination scores of 108 students (27 males 81 females) were obtained. Further, this data was analyzed using presentation techniques on six sub-components of the comprehensive educational exam. Findings: The results showed that the average ability of prospective teacher students was 83.94 percent (high category). Conclusions: Some prospective teachers were unable to adequately explain teacher competence and teaching theory. Therefore, they have to improve their capability in this topic.Keywords: learning outcomes, prospective teacher, comprehensive, Education field.Abstrak: Evaluasi Penguasaan Konsep Pendidikan Calon Guru di Ambon: Studi Ex-post-facto Hasil Ujian Komprehensif. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan hasil ujian komprehensif-bidang pendidikan mahasiswa calon guru. Metode: Metode deskriptif ex-post-facto digunakan dalam penelitian ini, untuk mendapatkan data dari mahasiswa yang memprogramkan tugas akhir pada tiga program studi (Pendidikan Agama Islam, Pendidikan Biologi, Pendidikan Matematika pada salah satu Lembaga Pendidikan dan Tenaga Kependidikan di kota Ambon. Data diperoleh melalui studi dokumentasi hasil ujian komprehensif bidang pendidikan berupa skor yang diperoleh dari 108 mahasiswa (27 laki-laki 81 perempuan). Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentasi pada enam sub komponen ujian komprehensif-bidang pendidikan. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru adalah 83,94 persen (kategori Tinggi). Kesimpulan: Masih ada mahasiswa yang belum dapat menjelaskan dengan baik tentang teori belajar dan kompetensi guru, mengindikasikan bahwa penguasaan bagian ini perlu diperkuat lagi.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, calon guru, komprehensif, bidang pendidikan. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i2.202217

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the character education program, program implementation, evaluation program and the obstacles that are found in SDIT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh in implementing character education. Research subject of the principal, the chairman of the foundation, the class and parents. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Research result showed that character education program at SDIT Nurul Ishlah is good enough, compiled before the school year begins. The implementation of character education follows a national curriculum combined with SDIT Nurul Ishlah curriculum. The teacher council prepares syllabus and lesson plan with character values, teachers can add praiseworthy traits of morality such as Siddig, Tabligh, Fatanah and Amanah. The evaluation of character education is conducted periodically and comprehensively at the end of semester, with the aim to know the aspects that need to be continuously improved.Keywords management, character education, national curriculum.Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Program pendidikan karakter, pelaksanaan program, evaluasi program dan kendala yang ditemukan di SDIT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh dalam melaksanakan pendidikan karakter. Subyek penelitian kepala sekolah, ketua yayasan, kelas dan orang tua/wali. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan karakter di SDIT Nurul Ishlah sudah cukup baik, disusun sebelum tahun ajaran dimulai. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter mengikuti kurikulum nasional yang dipadukan dengan kurikulum SDIT Nurul Ishlah. Majelis Guru menyusun silabus dan RPP dengan nilai-nilai karakter, guru dapat menambah akhlak terpuji seperti Siddig, Tabligh, Fatanah dan Amanah. Abstract

This quasy Experiment research aims to determine the influence of guided inquiry learning model toward the interest of biology students learning cross-interest involving 66 high school students in Tenggarong Seberang. The research design used non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis of the increase of students' learning interest in the application of this learning model was obtained from the mean of N-Gain, while the influence of inquiry learning model was guided against the interest of learning done through t-test for normal distributed data and Mann-Whitney U-test for abnormally distributed data. Based on data analysis, it was found that biology learning interest score after learning process in experiment and control class was significantly different (sig. (2-tailed) 0.05). In addition, there was an increase in student interest in the low category but significantly different (U-test = 257.0 U-table = 818).Keyword: Guided inquiry, cross-interest, learning interest. Penelitian Quasy Experiment ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap minat belajar biologi siswa lintas minat yang melibatkan 66 siswa SMA di Tenggarong Seberang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Analisis data peningkatan minat belajar siswa pada penerapan model pembelajaran ini diperoleh dari rerata N-Gain, sedangkan pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap minat  belajar dilakukan melalui t-test untuk data yang berdistribusi normal dan uji Mann-Whitney U-test untuk data yang berdistribusi tidak normal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa skor minat belajar biologi setelah proses pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berbeda nyata (sig.(2-tailed) 0,05). Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kualitas pembelajaran IPS, yang disebabkan oleh belum terlibatnya siswa secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru, karena masih adanya anggapan bahwa guru adalah satu- satunya sumber belajar di kelas. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menerapkan pembelajaran interaktif yang menempatkan siswa pada posisi yang lebih aktif, kreatif dan mendorong pengembangan potensi dan kemampuan yang dimiliki serta menemukan makna dari apa yang dipelajari. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research), yang dilaksanakan dengan tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi menggunakan panduan observasi dan tes hasil belajar menggunakan soal- soal tes. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya .Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Interaktif sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di SD Negeri 12 Metro Pusat.This research is conducted based on the problem of the poor quality of social studies , which caused by the students had not been involved actively yet in learning . Learning is centered on the teacher, because there is still a perception that the teacher is the only source of learning in the classroom. In this study the researcher applied an interactive learning that puts students in the position of a more active, creative and encouraging the development of the potential and capabilities as well as to discover the meaning of what is learned. Method used in this study was descriptive method with classroom action research approach (Classroom Action Research), which is implemented in three cycles. Data was collected through observation using the observation guide and achievement test using questions test. The data is analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative data analysis to determine whether there is an increase in each cycle. The results showed that the implementation of interactive model is very effective in increasing the activity and the learning outcomes of the students in learning social studies in elementary school 12 Metro Centre.Kata kunci: ilmu pengetahuan sosial, model interaktif, pembelajaran.
