Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Bidang Sains dan Teknologi
ABDIKAN (Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Bidang Sains dan Teknologi) diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Februari, Mei, Agustus dan November oleh Yayasan Literasi Sains Indonesia. Jurnal ABDIKAN didedikasikan untuk mempublikasi hasil-hasil kegiatan Pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa, Dosen dan seluruh lapisan Masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan hasil pemikiran dan gagasan konseptual, serta tentang kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan permasalahan yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat dalam bidang sains dan teknologi.

<![CDATA[The church as a non-profit oriented entity financially accepts donations from the congregation/ congregation to fund its ministry activities. Legitimacy theory can be used to explain the position of the church as an entity that has a social contract with the people, namely how the church in this case the church manager can provide services church that grows and maintains the faith and belief of the people through all its activities. Non-profit financial reporting is regulated by ISAK 35. Interested parties will be able to assess the church's financial performance with the implementation of ISAK 35. The HKBP Pangaribuan Church is the object of this research. interviews and observations were conducted to collect data. So far, the Pangaribuan HKBP Church has only made reports on cash in and cash out. This study aims to describe the financial statements of the HKBP Pangaribuan Church with financial reports based on ISAK 35 by using an auxiliary application, namely MS. Excel. In short, non-profit organizations are different from business entities. Although non-profit organizations do not focus on making profit, they still face financial problems because non-profit organizations have budgets, pay employees, pay bills, electricity and telephone and others. The church is a non-profit organization that is a place of worship for Christians. The church is also used as a place to study the Bible and of course to study religion.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service aims to provide knowledge and understanding through Marketing Communication Management training for Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Telagasari Village, Serangpanjang, Subang. The Covid-19 pandemic condition requires creativity and innovation in marketing MSME products. Methods Lectures, discussions, exercises and presentation of the results of the training for MSME managers in the village. The results of the service stated that the communication strategy required training and knowledge about the media and market opportunities for MSME products. Management planning and knowledge of competitors in improving product quality is supported by direct cash assistance (BLT) for MSME. Marketing communication strategy for MSME products in Tegalasari Village is needed, to consider several things related to marketing communication requiring training and business credit, to increase production and empower natural resources owned by continuous training and coaching. Increasing the number of MSMEs and production quality through HR training and product quality training.]]>

The implementation process was carried out offline and online, utilizing the technology. The event begins with a technology dissemination talk, an education on how to grow crops through the hydroponic method, then continued with a technology education in the form of Design classes, Webinars with the topic of learning and business in the new normal era, and closed with ceremonial, photos sessions, along with the delivery of donations.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity in the form of tutoring during the COVID-19 pandemic is the concern and responsibility of lecturers and students (HIMAKA) of Cirebon City Catur Insan Cendekia University in the field of education. The purpose of this community service activity is to motivate activity participants and overcome the saturation level of elementary school students in the Kalijaga Village, Cirebon City, who for more than 1 year have been doing the online learning process at their respective homes. This activity was attended by elementary school students who are in the neighborhood around Baperkam RW.12 Kalijaga Village, Cirebon City. The method of implementing this service activity is a survey of activity needs, activity plans, implementation of tutoring activities and evaluation of activities. The results of this community service activity in the field of education show the enthusiasm, motivation and enthusiasm of elementary school students in participating in this tutoring activity. The consistency of the academic community in carrying out community service activities in the field of education needs to be maintained and even improved in order to support the tri dharma of higher education.]]>

<![CDATA[TOGA is one of the best options to deal with health problems independently at home without having to come to a health facility as well as an effort to reduce the use of chemical drugs by returning to nature (back to nature). TOGA is very much needed in the current COVID-19 pandemic situation in order to break the chain of transmission by staying at home. The target family has a large yard which is planted with several medicinal plants. They know what plants are used as medicine, but their utilization has not been optimally and correctly and they do not know how to process TOGA into products of high economic value. The purpose of this activity is to provide information and knowledge regarding the proper and correct use of TOGA and how to process it into powders and herbs. We are students of KKN STIKes Andini Persada Mamuju doing one of the program activities is processing TOGA. The processing stages of making TOGA are by cooking with several plants including, ginger, temulawak, lemongrass, turmeric, the advantage of this processing is to obtain products in the form of herbs and powders by cooking and brewing.]]>

<![CDATA[Oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) are one of the products related to conventional biotechnology where the product is a food that can be consumed. So that in the application of training in the cultivation of Oyster mushrooms is concerned about biotechnology and entrepreneurship subjects. Along with the rise of covid-19 that occurs is not a barrier to the facilitator team in performing devotion, of course with a limited scale. The devotion that is carried out is (1) Counseling, conducted online with online webinars followed by all biology students and participants from the general public. (2) Preparation, establishing a committee for advanced activities, namely training in oyster mushroom cultivation and implementation in entrepreneurship (3) Implementation of stage 1, implementation of oyster mushroom cultivation and implementation of biotechnology subjects, (4) Implementation of stage 2, implementation of biological entrepreneurship subjects by selling biologically efficacious products such as raw oyster mushrooms, (5) Monitoring and evaluation of activities: monitoring and evaluation of activities carried out by the Committee and facilitators as parties who help monitoring and evaluation which are also assisted by sources.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of implementing this community service program was to improve the ability of lecturers and students in processing research data using Lisrel software. This activity was carried out through three stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The method used in the implementation of the event is the lecture method and practice. The resource person who became the instructor in this training was a lecturer at the 17 Augustus 1945 Jakarta University as a form of community service. This training was very much needed at STT Renatus Pematang Siantar because there were no lecturers and students who have mastered the use of this software properly. The results of the evaluation were carried out by comparing the pretest and posttest scores. There was an increase in the mastery of software in the majority of the trainees. The majority of participants already understand well how to input data, how to process data and how to interpret the results of data processing. It is hoped that the participants will continue to learn and practice their skills in processing research data with Lisrel software, so that these skills can support the careers of the participants and support the performance of their institutions.]]>

Desa Arang Limbung is the center of Government of Kubu Raya. In carrying out the duties of the government of development and society, the village head always coordinated with the community and other village institutions. To set the Village Head Meeting Schedule, a Guest Book Application The Role of the Guest Book is always limited to the administration, so it cannot be used as a benchmark to measure the level of village office services, because to use it further, the existing data must be summarized to produce information needed. The community service team conducts training using a digital guest book application that can be used to measure the number of visits at the village office while providing information about anyone in the village office which will be encountered by guests who come to the village office.]]>

<![CDATA[Salt is an important commodity that is widely used from consumption to industry. Talise Village is the only salt-producing village in Palu City because the area is mostly located on the coast of Palu Bay. LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) geomembrane technology is an empowerment program focused on increasing the production and quality of salt products and improving welfare by increasing the income of salt farmers. The purpose of this activity is to apply LDPE geomembrane technology to salt farmer groups in Talise in producing and improving the quality of SNI-standard salt as consumption salt and increasing awareness of salt farmers to use technology in managing their salt ponds. The method used is the stages of socialization, pre-production and production. The results of this activity program, namely the use of LDPE geomembrane technology on crystal tables, have increased the quantity and quality of salt for salt farmers in Talise Village, Mantikulore District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi. In addition, crop yields have increased threefold and harvest time is 3 to 4 days faster than conventional methods.]]>

<![CDATA[The author did practicum II at the Ora Et Labora Nusantara Orphanage. The second practicum carried out by the author was to examine the problems experienced by orphans. The problems experienced by orphanages are the lack of reading culture so that they have difficulty in learning. Especially during the current pandemic, children prefer to spend time playing with their friends at the orphanage rather than taking the time to study. From this problem, the author is interested and has the aim of increasing interest in reading for orphans which is a mini project from this author on education to children. The author has a client (group) who is experiencing this problem. The group consists of children who are still in elementary school (SD). The author uses the stages of social groupwork in his research from the preparation stage to the termination stage. The method used is the Delphi method using Focus Group Discussion (FGD). After doing all the stages of social groupwork, the results are presented by the author so that the orphanage children can continue the reading culture so that they have no difficulty in learning at school. ]]>
