The expected essays shall also cover studies on Indonesian tourism which linking with issues of social, cultural, economic, politics, management, health, environmental, technology, policies, etc. The goal of Journal of Indonesian Tourism and Policies Studies, is to become portal and instrument to develop science-of-tourism in indonesia from various aspects and perspectives. Hence, not only as paper-based field-research, this journal shall be the portal for applied studies on tourism and the related literature reviews. This journal is published twice a year, namely January-June and July-December. the language used is English with a plagiarism check <20%. Abstract

The focus of this Journal is to know PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) strategy in increasing the number of Foreign Tourist Arrival (FTA) with Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Development. The type of research in this study is descriptive research. Techniques of data collection are from interviews, observation, and literature. The result of this research says that in building Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) there is some marketing strategy in offering new routes to airlines, such as roadshow, inviting airlines, and bring in airlines. The process of opening new routes takes a long time, depending on the duration of internal airline coordination. For marketing LCCT to the public, PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) together with the Ministry of Tourism is making a promotion video that will disseminate in and outside the country. Keyword: Foreign Tourist Arrival (FTA), Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), roadshow, airlines, marketing strategy

Abstract

As halal tourism demand show significant growth due to increase awareness of muslim tourists on consuming halal products and services during their travels, muslim millennials travelers becomes the most targeted market from destinations in the world, especially as they represent 25% of total tourism visitor arrivals. Therefore, this paper intends to reveal the perception of millennials on halal tourism and after that , the results to be projected in the development strategy of halal tourism in West Sumatera. It is an exploratory descriptive research in which primary data are collected through the distribution of questionnaire to 185 millennials in Jakarta. The results show that faith based needs especially the provision of halal food as well the opportunity to perform salaath and the availability of praying facilities along with water usage friendly washrooms are the most important services on their leisure travels. Muslim friendly accommodation, tourism attraction and shopping are the important facilities required, while the millennials search travel information and share their experience in social media. The most favorite tourism activities in halal tourism are adventure and family based tourism. To be successful in offering its halal tourism to millennials, West Sumatera should create its halal tourism products and services in accordance to the millennials tourists expectationKeywords: halal tourism, muslim millennial travelers requirements, muslim friendly travel.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is a change in the phenomenon with the presence of the Minister of Tourism from Generation X who has the closest age gap to Generation Z, it aims to see if the election of this millennial minister can increase Generation Z's interest in choosing a career in the tourism sector government, to optimize the demographic bonus in the future. This is a descriptive approach method research. Abstract

The purpose of this journal is to discuss (1) reservation process of sailing trip to Komodo Island (2) and to know what facilities, rights and obligations given Kakabantrip for tourists who follow sailing tour of komodo. Tourist Reservation Process conducted by Kakabantrip all of them aims to provide security and comfort to tourists. With the reservation process made by Kakabantrip who sending personal data of tourists, Kakabantrip can know the characteristics and needs of tourists so that the tourists can get the best service from Kakabantrip. The method used in the manufacture and writing of this Final assigmment is a descriptive method through the written or oral words of the people and the behavior observed. The author also uses the method of observation is through field work practices conducted by the author at Kakabantrip Tour And Travel Service.

Jurnal ini membahas tentang Pengurusan Undangan Konvensi Forum Rektor Indonesia 2017, serta hambatan yang ditemui dan pemecahan masalahnya. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kegiatan bauran promosi yang dilakukan Cheria Halal Holiday dalam memasarkan “Paket Wisata Halal Korea Selatan" beserta hambatan dan kendalanya. Korea selatan menjadi salah satu negara yang mulai mengembangkan wisata halal. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe internship program is an integral part of the Vocational School Higher Education curriculum. Various knowledge and experiences can be obtained directly as long as students carry out their internships in industries or companies. In a pandemic situation that has recently lasted for approximately two years, the internship program for students within the company is also ongoing even though with different methods and methods, namely what is called WFH (Work From Home). For students, internships are not only an opportunity to learn practical work in the world of work, internships also mean an opportunity to learn about the culture of other people or companies. The internship program is an opportunity for students to learn more about how to adapt to other people's cultures or the existing company culture. With a qualitative approach, this paper tries to explore more deeply how the internship program is a good opportunity for students to be able to know or learn about cultural issues from other people, which include: work culture, time discipline, and other existing habits in a company.Keywords: Internship, Culture, Human Resource Management, Vocational.

Abstract

Indonesia is well known for its diversity which scattered from east to west. The diversity itself can be considered as the intangible aspects which relates directly with the aspect of tourism. Tourism provides profitable sectors in many countries because tourism has three major functions. First, to support economic aspect by developed local society. Second, to maintain culture and heritage. Third, to preserve the environment, those three aspects will support the strength of the nation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the reason why the tourism aspect cannot be established by following Indonesian tourism strategic planning. This research is using qualitative method to describe the situation from the problem arise within the society and applying descriptive method in analyzing the data particularly for the tourism development. In my writing, I would like to provide argument why the tourism in several areas cannot be fully developed by following the program of sustainable tourism. There are several major factors which can be described as the findings of this research which takes part in Murung Raya, Central Kalimantan such as lack of local empowerment. This is because the local government do not pay attention to the characteristic of particular culture in nearby area as a great cultural heritage, there is no involvement of local society, the allocation of budgeting do not focus on the tourism development, less priority of cultural and tourism aspects from the program of regional strategic development, the tourism development pay less attention to the social regulations and it creates less awareness of the local community about how important tourism to support livelihood as source of alternative income. Abstract

This paper discusses the application of the 6P marketing mix (Product, Price, Place/Distribution, Promotion, Politics, and Public Opinion) by Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office through The Office of Tourism and Creative Economy in order to organize domestic MICE activities ( Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) in 2019 until 2020. This research uses the type of qualitative research and descriptive research with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study are suggested and recommended to The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office to open new jobs, actively holding MICE events, especially business to customers (B2C), and establish cooperation with stakeholders by providing legal certainty.

Abstract

 This task of the final work consists of analysis of Indonesia tourism marketing process for the Thousand Islands, started from the planning step up till the actuating step. In this task of final work IS ALSO Described the obstacles in the tourism marketing process has been done and roomates Also describes the right steps of tourism marketing to increase of the number of tourist. This task of the final work is arranged by counting the data analysis.
