Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, homemakers have to struggle more in managing household finances because several sectors are affected and tend to create reserve funds in case of bad work and health. This was felt by PKK women in Sambirejo Village, Geger District, Madiun Regency. The UNIPMA accounting education service team provides a way of managing simple finances from an accounting perspective. The materials consist of SMART financial planning principles, identifying needs versus wants tips on saving and emergency funds, and examples of simple manual and excel-based financial planning applications. Most of the participants considered the material interesting and understandable. Still, their confidence decreased when asked about the ability to apply household financial planning independently - this opens up opportunities for similar services in the future and more for question and answer or personal consultations to better suit the target community's needs.

Abstract

Gadget yang tidak digunakan secara bijak dan tanpa pengawasan dari orang tuanya, dapat memberikan dampak negatif pada perkembangan anak-anak. Perkembangan anak-anak dapat terganggu secara fisik, emosi, dan mental. Bahkan dapat menyebabkan kecanduan. Orang tua merupakan sosok penting yang diharapkan mampu mencegah kecanduan gadget pada anak. Orang tua di desa Ngampel kelurahan Hargobinangun, Pakem, Sleman mayoritas berprofesi sebagai petani. Walaupun berada di desa, anak-anak desa Ngampel sudah menggunakan gadget dengan akses internet.  Sayangnya, mayoritas orang tua belum melek digital. Artinya, banyak orang tua yang tidak mengetahui dampak gadget, sehingga membiarkan anak-anak mengakses gadget tanpa kontrol dan pengawasan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kesadaran kepada orang tua mengenai pentingnya melek digital. Metode pengabdian adalah penyuluhan, dimana terdiri dari tahap; persiapan, pelaksanaan penyuluhan, dan evaluasi. Penggunaan pengabdian dengan metode ini diharapkan orang tua dapat melek digital dan dapat merancang strategi untuk mengontrol dan mengawasi anak-anak yang mengakses gadget.

Abstract

Di abad 21 ini guru harus mengembangkan literasi digital, terutama dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran. Pelatihan membuat media pembelajaran menggunakan Canva diadakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan literasi digital guru di SDN 9 Nagrikaler, Purwakarta. Kegiatan ini berjalan dalam 3 fase yakni pra pelatihan, pelatihan dan pasca pelatihan. Tahap pra pelatihan yakni tahap persiapan, seperti penyusunan acara, mengurus perizinan, mempersiapkan materi dan kuesioner. Tahap Pelaksanaan atau inti kegiatan pelatihan, dimulai dengan pemberian kuesioner pra pelatihan, pematerian, serta pelatihan dan pembimbingan pembuatan media pembelajaran digital menggunakan Canva. Terakhir tahap pasca pelatihan atau evaluasi yakni pemberian kuesioner pasca pelatihan, penugasan/pembuatan proyek oleh peserta, serta pengaplikasian media pembelajaan tersebut dalam pembelajaran. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa 85% guru memberikan persepsi positif serta tertarik untuk menggunakan Canva untuk membuat media pembelajaran digital dan 85% guru berpendapat bahwa Canva mudah digunakan dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan pelatihan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan Canva ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital guru serta dapat menambah keberagaman media pembelajaran untuk memotivasi belajar peserta didik. Pelatihan canva ini memiliki dampak terhadap pembelajaran diantaranya guru dapat mengetahui cara pembuatan media pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif, pembelajaran menjadi lebih berkreasi dan tidak monoton, terdapat perubahan dari pembelajaran yang hanya biasa saja menjadi lebih baik dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has been impacting practically all aspects of life, including aspects of education. During this pandemic, all activities of learning are going online. It takes advantage of information technology as a medium. This training was held to improve the SDN 9 Nagrikaler Purwakartas' teacher's ability to use the Quizizz application for elementary school teachers. By this application, It can rectify the elementary students' mathematical numeracy skills. This training was held in 3 stages: (1) pretraining, (2) implementation of training (3) post-training. The first stage of preparation before training was setting up the preparation of events, materials, questionnaires, etc. Then, the training stage was filled with pretraining questionnaire distribution, explanation, and direct practice of using the Quizizz application by creating questions related to mathematical numeration literacy. The final stage was filled with message impressions, post-training questionnaires, and interviews with a headmaster and teacher deputations. The result of this training is that 95% of teachers are interested in using the Quizizz application. The conclusion from this training was that Quizizz training needs to be appertained because of this pandemic. A variety of learning is needed for boosting the motivation of learning. This Quizizz training went decently. It can be seen from the teacher's enthusiasm in following the stages of making questions in the Quizizz application.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic initiates the emergence of the social distancing concept and the implementation of health protocols. This also happens in worship places, which are public places and are at risk of spreading the Covid-19 virus. For such reason, strict health protocols need to be carried out when washing hands with hand sanitizer. The use of hand sanitizers is believed to be able to kill viruses well, but manual spraying can increase the spread of the virus. This program aims to make automatic hand sanitizer spraying devices placed in front of the Attawwaabiin Mosque entrance, Pisang Candi Village, Malang City. The implementation method consisted of program observation and the manufacture of an automatic hand sanitizer spraying device, including the preparation of tools and components, the assembly stage, the trial and repair stage, and the stage of providing tools to partners. The result of this program is a tool that is specially assembled so that the spraying of hand sanitizer can be done automatically without touching other media so that it can help reduce the spread of the virus so that the congregation of the mosque can carry out their worship with a sense of security and comfort.

Abstract

The implementation of online learning requires teachers to be more innovative in finding attractive learning alternatives. One of the digital devices that can be used is the Quizizz application. However, it is not uncommon for the use of digital devices to be quite difficult for some teachers or teachers. The socialization of the use of the Quizizz application is a form of service organized by the students of the Indonesian Education University, Purwakarta Campus, who are carrying out PLSP activities at UPTD SDN 1 Tegal Munjul. The activity begins with taking care of permits and coordinating with the school regarding program targets, namely teaching staff or teachers. Then, the organizers conduct socialization and training using the Quizizz application through the provided zoom meeting link in the core activities. The evaluation of this activity is by using the interview technique through several questions posed on the questionnaire via a google form link distributed to participants after the webinar activity is completed. This series of activities is intended to assist teachers or teachers during the implementation of online learning.

Abstract

Tertuang di dalam Peraturan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 59 tahun 2017, Indonesia berkomitmen untuk berperan aktif dalam pelaksanaan pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Namun, pelaporan Dinas Kesehatan Purwakarta mengatakan bahwa terjadi kenaikan Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) pada tahun 2019-2020 yang tentunya masih belum memenuhi pencapaian SDGs tersebut. Penyelesaian yang diusulkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dengan melaksanakan Program Rumah Gizi. Program ini akan melibatkan banyak pihak. Keterlibatan tersebut didasari semangat ta’awun (saling menolong) dalam mempercepat penurunan AKI. Langkah awal yang ditempuh ‘Aisyiyah Purwakarta dalam menjalankan program Rumah Gizi ini dengan melakukan ketahanan pangan di pekarangan. Hal itu seiring dengan adanya pembatasan berkerumun saat pandemi covid-19, untuk mengisi kegiatan tinggal di rumah. Manajemen Rumah Gizi tersebut dilakukan dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang berkesinambungan. Diharapkan kegiatan yang dilakukan dapat berkelanjutan sehingga kemanfaatannya dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat lebih luas, terutama dalam kebutuhan gizi keluarga cukup. Dengan demikian, percepatan penurunan AKI yang disebabkan oleh anemia pada ibu hamil dapat terwujud.

Abstract

The vast majority of grads did not find work via social media. Instead, they turned to social media to find specialized recruiters and individual employer websites, where they explored and applied for positions. Several means are used by graduates to obtain information about available jobs in the labour markets. Relevant among the means include the social networks, career networking sites, friends and family, internship, recruitment agency among others. SNSs are web-based programs that allow individuals and organizations to create, engage with, and share new or existing user-generated or existing material in digital environments via multi-way communication. This study investigated (i) the means by which graduates acquire information about jobs in labour markets; (ii) effect of the social networking sites on job opportunity in Nigeria. The study was a cross sectional study which. The responses from the respondents were coded and analyse to beautify the study in terms of analysis, discussions and conclusions. The findings of the study that majority of the respondents got information about jobs through social networking sites and Social networking sites have positive effect on job opportunities.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) menekankan pada aspek sosialisasi kepada Masyarakat yang berdampak pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Metode yang dilaksanakan adalah memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat dengan memberikan pandangan mengenai kondisi COVID dan dampaknya kepada masyarakat luas. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dilaksanakan di MTs (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) Muhammadiyah Campaka Purwakarta. Berlokasi di alamat: Jl. Raya Campaka, Campaka, Kec. Campaka, Kabupaten Purwakarta, Jawa Barat 41181. Waktu pelaksanaan adalah tanggal 20 Juni 2020. Pandemi COVID-19 menyisakan dampak bagi masyarakat sekitar, khususnya berkaitan dengan ekonomi dan Pendidikan. Perlu adanya Kerjasama dari berbagai pihak untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Pemerintah dan Organisasi Kemasyarakatan / NGO turut serta dalam memberikan andil mengentaskan permasalahan COVID-19. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah mengenai dampak di sektor Pendidikan. Pelaksanaan berbasis daring menjadikan siswa tidak belajar secara optimal, sehingga perlu adanya peran dari orangtua untuk membimbing dan menguatkan proses KBM di rumah. Sosialisasi peran orangtua dalam membimbing anaknya dalam belajar daring menjadi penting, karena edukasi kepada orangtua secara merata harus dilakukan.
