Based on the data, the proportion of brachial plexus injuries with total lesions (C5–T1) was 54%, partial lesions (C5-6) 24%, (C5-C7) 19%, and (C8-Th1) 3%. This case report aims to present the physiotherapy management of brachial plexus injury. A 23-year-old man with a medical diagnosis of brachial plexus injury. Previously the patient fell from the bathroom and suffered a blow to the shoulder and fractures in the proximal 1/3 of the ulna & radial. The patient received the first medical treatment for fracture with ORIF (plate and screw), while the shoulder injury received medical treatment after 6 months. The medical procedure is SAN to SSN neurotization surgery. The physiotherapy program provided include ROM exercise, strengthening, stretching, and release. The results of the evaluation for 3 times of therapy showed that there was a change in passive ROM, pain, edema and spasm in the shoulder region. there has been no change in muscle strength and sensory function. In addition, in the wrist and elbow region there is an increase in muscle strength. The process of nerve recovery takes a long time, so there have not been many changes that have occurred in the patient. The process of nerve growth only occurs at 1 mm / day. Physiotherapy program given for 3 days postoperative conditions only aim to reduce problems such as muscle spasm, edema, postoperative pain, muscle tightness, and prevent potential problems that will occur. Abstract

Aedes Aegypti mosquito, often referred as Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) cause, has a life cycle that is distinct from that of other mosquitoes. The Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) mosquito is active between morning and evening, sucking the blood of its victims and so spreading the Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) virus. DHF is an endemic illness, meaning that it is always prevalent in a certain geographic location or demographic group. Dengue Haemorrhagic fever preventive methods must engage the community in the form of effectively executing the draining, burying, and covering (3M) program in Aimutin Village. This study used a descriptive quantitative, cross-sectional design. The population in this study consisted of 321 heads of families, whereas the sample consisted of 39 heads of families. The sampling strategy used in this study was random sampling. Multiple correlation data analysis technique with the results of the relationship between the variable of knowledge (variable X1) and attitudes (variable X2) of the community toward implementing a draining, burying, and closing (3M) program to prevent dengue hemorrhagic fever (variable Y), the level of classification is very strong. Meanwhile, to indicate the magnitude of variable X1's contribution to variable Y with a determinant coefficient of r2x100% or 0,492x100% =24,01 %, while the remainder is impacted by other factors. Conclusions require the attention of the health minister, local leaders, and the local population in order to reactivate efforts to combat this disease.

Abstract

Introduction. Patients with Tuberculous Meningitis (TBM) are at risk for opportunistic infections, one of which is infection by SARS-CoV-2. This condition can occur when patients with TB meningitis have a decreased immune system in addition to other causes of immunosuppression such as advanced age, socioeconomic status and malnutrition. TBM is a type of extrapulmonary tuberculosis that causes the most harmful and lead to disability and increasing mortality rate in more than half of cases. Case Presentation. A 35-year-old woman with TBM with COVID-19 infection showed conditions such as loss of consciousness, fever and headache. Patient’s Blood Gas Analysis shows hypocapnia where PaCO2 levels are 12 mmHg, with clinically patients experiencing bradypnea (respiratory rate = <12 x/min. Furthermore, patient got intubated and treated with a mechanical ventilator. After five days the use of a mechanical ventilator in the ICU isolation, patient showed improvement and extubating was carried out on the fifth day. Discussion. The condition of fever, headache and hypocapnia in patients with TBM can occur due to damage to the central nervous system. Patients experience hypocapnia after hyperventilation previous days ago and followed by decreasing CO2 levels. The use of a mechanical ventilator is carried out to overcome the acid-base balance disorder. Nurses as part of the Healthcare team have a role in early detection, critical thinking, providing interventions and coordinating for decision making. Conclusion. TBM infection with COVID-19 can cause a variety of signs and symptoms. Handling of patients requires good teamwork among health workers in early detection of clinical changes in patients. Abstract

Anemia during pregnancy is one of the problems that can increase maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. The need for iron during pregnancy through daily food is still very little. In this case, the government prevents iron deficiency during pregnancy by providing free iron supplements to all pregnant women, but the benefits of giving iron tablets during pregnancy are often hampered by the compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets. Compliance is a behavior that can be influenced by factors from within the individual, namely education and knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of education and knowledge of pregnant women with iron tablets with adherence to consuming iron tablets in the working area of ??Menganti Public Health Center Gresik. The design used in this study was cross sectional and included 60 pregnant women who consumed >90% iron tablets given by the government. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and multivariate analysis using binary logistic regression test, which showed that the level of education and knowledge about iron tablets pregnant women had a significant relationship with adherence to consuming iron tablets (<0.05).
