Abstract

This type of study is descriptivequalitative aimed at describing Application Processing Standards (planning, implementation, assessment) in the learning of Islamic religious education by junior high school teacher who's been and yet Certified Educator. Results of this study were (1) The application of process standards in teaching Islamic religious education by teachers who are already Certified in (a) the administration of the learning plan declared well, (b) learning activities on the application of professional competence by the subject teacher 1, teacher 2 and teacher 3 obtaining good category, the application of pedagogical competence by subject teacher 1, teacher 2 and teacher 3 acquire assessment category Very Good, and (c) administrative assessment by the subject teacher 1 (aspects of assessment tools Well, aspects of the implementation of appraisal Fair, aspects of assessment results Good ), the subject of teacher 2 (aspects of assessment tools Very Good, aspects of the implementation of the Good, the aspect assessment Good), and teacher 3 (aspects of assessment tools Very Good, aspects of the implementation of the Good, the aspect assessment Good), (2) standard implementation process of learning Islamic religious education by teachers who are Not Certified Educator in (a) the administration of the learning plan declared Well, (b) learning activities on the application of professional competence by the subject teacher 5 and teacher 6 to obtain the category of Good and Teacher 4 acquire the category Fair, on the application of pedagogic by subject teacher 5 and teacher 6 to obtain the assessment categories Very Good and Teacher 4 to obtain the assessment categories Good, and (c) administrative assessment by subject teachers 5, teacher 6, and teacher 4 on aspects of assessment tools, aspects of the implementation of the assessment, aspects of assessment each obtain Good assessment category.Results of the research application process standards in teaching Islamic religious education in junior high school Palu by teachers who are already certified still need to be improved or not maximized as a whole, in certain cases still need attention and effort to optimize an integrated, systematic and effective according to the situation and conditions education unit and the local area

Abstract

This study discusses the campus mosque's role in the development of students` activities. Related to the development of students` activities, campus mosque of IAIN Palu has a role and a huge potential. It is obvious from the student activity every day to make the mosque as a place of study, discussion, and training for the students` agencies. Among the students` activities are the recitation of the Qur`an, reviewing the book, learning recitations, as well as regular activities undertaken Campus da`wah institution of IAIN Palu. The role of the campus mosque was also strongly felt by students and alumni who served as a manager or ta'mir mosque. They nurtured and empowered to be able to preach in addition also skilled in managing/manage the mosque well. Campus mosque of IAIN Palu also plays a role in community development. Among the basic recitation held for children around the mosque through Qur`an recitation area held each evening between Maghrib and Isha. It also held lectures for adults and parents.Optimizing the campus mosque carried out by organizing various events and activities both educational, cultural, and economic. Optimizing the role and function of the mosque is very beneficial for students` development in particular and society in general, not only in the aspect of ritual worship activities, but also for the coaching aspect of religious, social, and economic

Abstract

This study aimed to describe deeply the optimization of learning quran methodolgy in increasing children's interesting of reading Qur'an, through the implementation of the method, the parent role in motivating children to learn Qur'an. The study design was a descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show that learning the quran in TPA Agung Darussalam Palu using Iqra 'method. The Iqra method is a method that contains of six volumes (volumes 1-6), with an approach that emphasizes on the ability of reading letters, words, sentences until reading the Qur'an. Application of the Iqra ' method has been running well, but it needs more any other development toward better . The parents giving motivation will give some positive influences to the children to increase their ability of reading Qur'an. The role of parents in motivating their children to learn to read the Qur'an is so major that children have the skills in reading the Qur'an, but the inadequated media can not support the learning Qur'an successfully. Abstract

Economic globalization also have an impact on the influx of foreign and local ivestor (inside and outside of Palu). It is undeniable that the modern market today has become the demands and consequences of modern lifestyle that developed in the community. This research is a quantitative research. The study, using statistics to help analyze the data obtained in the field in which data is numeric or qualitative data in numbers. Furthermore, researchers in analyzing them also through Islamic economic approach, approach is based on the provisions of Islamic sharia economy related to economic development in order to achieve the objectives of sharia economic welfare of the people (Falah). Based on the results of the study showed that the presence of the Grand Mall greeted positively by SMEs even as Icon Palu city tour. Results are shown on several tables of data processed such that a positive response strongly agree and agree to 70% of the respondents. The influence of the presence of Grand Mall on revenue SMEs cause competition. But competition is meant fastabiqu al khairah positive competition (competing in goodness) as respondents that the presence of the Grand Mall can trigger the micro, small and medium enterprises to improve service, quality and innovation

Abstract

This research focuses on religious tradition of Syi`ah Faṭimiyah at Palu City. The objective is to know the historical present of Syi`ah Faṭimiyah at Palu City, the procession to be its congregation, and reveal of religious tradition which run by them.This research was qualitative research design which used phenomenology approach. The population used was the congregation of Syi`ah Faṭimiyah at Palu city taken the sample randomly. While the data collection was observation, interview and document study. The result of the research showed that the existence of Syi`ah Faṭimiyah at Palu city has been here for long time, coincide with the merchant of India. The followers of Syi`ah Faṭimiyah at present consisted of the society of India generation and the people who make a relationship with them through marriage. In some countries, Syi`ah Faṭimiyah has been known as Syi`ah Dawoodi Bohra. The religious tradition followed by the followers of Syi`ah Faṭimiyah bases on their demand of teaching. Even the tradition has been passed along the way from the original, but it hasn`t been changed the tradition of society. In some cases of religious tradition, Syi`ah Faṭimiyah has the similarity with Syi`ah Imāmīyah Iśna Ἁshariyah, such as Ἁshȗra, Arba‘in and Haul, so on. On the other side, it has similarity much with Ahlu Sunnah wa al-Jamā`ah. However, in some cases it has basic difference, which seen from the faith of the tradition base

Abstract

This paper discusses the results of research on the implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD can improve learning outcomes interpretation courses through STAD cooperative learning methods in the students of the Faculty of Islamic Theology, Aqidah Philosophy Department IAIN Palu. This research is a class action (Classroom Action Research) are conducted in two cycles. The research was conducted at Faculty of Islamic Theology, the study population are students majoring in Aqidah Philosophy consisting of one class. Subjects numbered 38 people composed of 15 students and 23 female students. As for the sampling using random sampling techniques. The research was conducted in the fourth semester of the school year 2013/2014. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model type STAD can improve learning outcomes interpretation courses through STAD cooperative learning methods on the student. This can be seen from the observation of the students and faculties are in very good category. And the results of tests in the first cycle is completed classes which gained 76,3% and for the second cycle obtained grade completed at 92.0%. Moderate to student learning motivation Aqidah Philosophy Department of Islamic Theology Faculty, after using STAD cooperative learning methods are more motivated in the learning process, both in terms of students working on worksheets and discussion are very active. It can be seen from the observation activities of students in the second cycle 1 meeting obtained by the percentage of the average value of 81.8% lecturer activity with very good categories and for the second meeting of the percentage obtained by the average value of student activities amounted to 90.9% by category very good

Abstract

This study aimed to: determine student learning outcomes by applying statistical learning methods of problem solving in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education IAIN Palu; also to know the motivation of the students towards subjects studied statistics at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education IAIN Palu. This research is a class action (classroom action research). The study population was all students of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education IAIN Palu with a total sample of 49 people. Sample selection is done by using purposive sampling technique followed by simple random sampling technique. Data collection is done by using the test, questioner and observation. Data analysis was performed by calculating the average of the results of tests each cycle to determine the increase in student results and questionnaires and observation to determine the improvement of student learning motivation. The results showed that: (1) the results of a statistical study increased after learning method applied problem solving in students of Teacher Training Faculty of Teacher Training and Education IAIN Palu namely, from 66.14 increased to 79.54; (2) learning motivation of students to courses at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education IAIN Palu increased namely increasing student attendance (96.27% to 98.31%), increasing the number of students who complete the task (94.22% to 97, 23%), the increase of students who completed the problem on the board (2.71% to 5.10%), the increase of students who asked questions during the learning takes place (4.08% to 6.47%), and decreased student late (3.41% to 1.70%). The number of students who love to learn the statistics that 39 people; students are happy with the given problem/statistical problems to be resolved by 41 people. However found in this study was less interested students to conduct quantitative research that is only 5 people

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the motivation of the performance of lecturers IAIN Palu, how much influence job satisfaction on the performance of lecturers IAIN Palu, and the extent of the influence of motivation and job satisfaction on the performance of lecturers IAIN Palu. The approach used in this study a quantitative approach. This study population is students and lecturers IAIN Palu and the sample is Lecturer and Student IAIN Palu as many as 62 people. Data obtained by using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis technique used is the correlation and regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) There is a significant relationship between motivation on the performance of lecturers IAIN Palu with a regression coefficient of 0.602 means strong, motivation variable contribution to the performance of lecturers by 36.3%, while the remaining 63.7% is determined by other variables. The high and low quality of faculty performance can be predicted by the regression equation y = a + b1x1 = 45.327 + 0,340X1. It shows the higher work motivation, the lecturer will get better performance. 2) There is a significant relationship between satisfaction with the performance of lecturers IAIN Palu with a regression coefficient of 0.579 means quite strong. The contribution of variable satisfaction with the performance of lecturers by 33.52 and 66.48% determined by other variables. The other variable factors such as age, education, hobbies and others. The high and low quality of faculty performance can be predicted by the regression equation y = a + b1x1 = 45.327 + 2,066 X1. It shows higher levels of job satisfaction then the performance will be better lecturer. 3) There is significant influence motivation and satisfaction with the performance of lecturers IAIN Palu with a regression coefficient of 0.637 means strong. The contribution of variable satisfaction with the performance of lecturers 40.6% means that the contribution of motivation and job satisfaction IAIN lecturer to lecturer performance only by determined by other variables. The high and low quality of faculty performance can be predicted by the regression equation y = a + b1x1 + b2 + 0,340X1 X1 = 45.327 + 0.166 X2. This shows if the motivation and job satisfaction increased by one unit then the performance of lecturers IAIN hammer will increase the unit anyway. This means that if the motivation and job satisfaction increases, performance of lecturers IAIN Palu will also increase and vice versa if the motivation and job satisfaction decreases eat Palu IAIN lecturer performance will decrease

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of teacher resource management in MAN 2 Model Palu, with the aim to learn more on teacher resource management at the school. By using descriptive qualitative method of this study it can be concluded that 1) Implementation of teacher resources management at MAN 2 Model Palu include: short-term planning is the recruitment through a selection process that uses some selection procedures and establishes the qualifications and criteria for prospective teachers, medium-term planning via Orientation and placement of teacher candidates received a teacher MAN 2 Model Palu, and long-term planning by conducting training and development through the improvement of skills, knowledge and career development of teachers. 2) The driving factor in the implementation of teacher resource management at MAN 2 Model Palu is: the quality of teacher education, teaching conformity with the specifications of science, support the professionalization and MAN management and the government, the decentralization of education, community support for educational institutions. The inhibiting factors are: the limited ability in the management, not the maximum participation of teachers in teaching duties, lack of funds, lack of cooperation with other institutions, there is no clear career for private teachers, well-being, there is no clear vision of the mission of teacher resource management teachers. 3) Efforts made in overcoming obstacles are: clarify the vision and mission of teacher resource management, improve the fungi-teacher resources management functions, network enhancement of cooperation with other institutions, achieving the required qualifications and competencies, build good relationships and extensive peer teacher through organization profession and develop a high work ethic to the constituents

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of pictures media used in learning vocabulary (mufradāt), to determine the interest of students towards Arabic vocabulary learning (mufradāt), and to determine the use of pictures media to increase the interest of Arabic vocabulary learning (mufradāt). This study used quantitative descriptive approach. The data were collected using a test instrument, documentation, and a questionnaire for Arabic vocabulary learning data (mufradāt) and data regarding student interest in learning. The data obtained through such tests were analyzed by using tests and the data were analyzed using student interest descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average value of the test before using the pictures media is low with a score of 5.25 and a standard deviation of 1.5. While the results of the test after using pictures media is high with an average of 7 and a standard deviation of 1.3. From the results obtained by the researcher suggests the teacher should use the pictures media in presenting the material in Arabic as one of the strategies in Arabic vocabulary learning (mufradāt). Besides teachers to be more creative and innovative in presenting Arabic learning in order to improve spirit and learning achievement
