Warta Pariwisata is a journal that accepts various articles related to tourism. The aim of this journal is to raise awareness, consideration and analysis of issues in the tourism field, and also promotes the exchange of ideas related to tourism development. This journal is aimed primarily at various people who are concerned with tourism and tourism-related issues in Indonesia, for example: * Those involved in planning, policy-making and consulting positions on tourism field; * Those involved in tourism and tourism-related activities; * Those involved in education and research on tourism or tourism-related issues.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 19 or also known as Covid-19 is currently having a huge impact on the Indonesian tourism industry. Most of the tourism business players in Indonesia were forced to stop their business operations. During the quarter the first of 2020, international tourist arrivals fell by 60-80%. This shows that the current state of tourism it's in bad shape. To anticipate the spread of Covid-19, the Indonesian government has made a standard health protocols that will be applied in the tourism sectors, such as hotels, tourist destinations, restaurants, and homestays existing in Indonesia. Especially in the homestay sector, the results of observations made show that not all homestays apply the covid-19 protocol for their businesses, but there are also districts that already have certificates "new normal" issued by experts from the health department for businesses that have passed the health protocol test, namely Banyuwangi Regency. This is what attracts researchers to conduct a study on how to apply health protocols in the development of homestays in Indonesia, especially those in Serang Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the Homestay Management Standards in Serang Regency and Prepare the Development of Homestay Management Standards According to the COVID-19 Protocol. The data collection techniques used The method used is by observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation which will later be analyzed with models qualitative descriptive data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are known that several homestays in Serang Regency have implemented the COVID-19 protocol although not optimally, such as only preparing hand washing facilities with soap, using masks, cleaning rooms with soap spraying disinfectant, and keeping a distance. There are also homestays that are not so strict in implementation COVID-19 protocols, there are even homestays that do not implement the COVID-19 protocol at all. The preparation of developing homestay management standards according to the COVID-19 protocol is for managers and guests mandatory to use masks in the homestay area, the use of face shields for managers and guests in the homestay area is very recommended to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19, Managers are required to use rubber gloves in the area homestay, the manager must provide public hand washing at the location before entering the homestay area, the manager must check body temperature to anyone who enters the homestay area (body temperature is not more than 37.3Âșc) and ensure that the party is in a healthy condition (managers, employees, guests, other parties who concerned), the homestay manager is obliged to provide public hand sanitizer in a location that is easily visible and easy to be reached, guests are required to bring their own additional masks and hand sanitizers, the homestay manager must provide AC/fan is in proper condition to ensure good air circulation, homestay manager is mandatory clean guest rooms by spraying disinfectant regularly at least when the room is finished used by guests, homestay managers must install flyers/signs/stickers regarding the COVID-19 protocol in places that are easily visible, all parties must communicate/interact by implementing physical distancing.

Abstract

Sustainable development in rural areas can develop from the tourism sector, because it can create jobs and stabilize the level of profit received. A comparison of rural, coastal, and urban destinations was carried out in this study to determine the problems related to seasonal tourism on an annual basis in tourist destinations in Spain. This study answers the question of whether seasonal tourism in a rural setting can be a problem or not. In addition, the purpose of this analysis is to provide an overview of the relationship between rural tourism stability and other theories and models of sustainable tourism. Abstract

Ekowisata Mangrove Wonorejo merupakan destinasi wisata alam dengan luas kurang lebih 56 hektar pada Kota Surabaya yang mulai dioperasikan pada tahun 2012. Pada pengembangan destinasi Ekowisata Mangrove Wonorejo ini, keterlibatan aktor-aktor dari berbagai lembaga menjadi hal yang tidak terpisahkan, dimana aktor-aktor tersebut memiliki agenda masing-masing, namun saling bekerjasama satu sama lain untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Tulisan ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antarlembaga tersebut secara struktural berdasarkan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi. Untuk menganalisis hubungan antarlembaga tersebut, analisis yang digunakan adalah stakeholder analysis serta analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil analisis tersebut, diketahui bahwa terdapat 10 (sepuluh) stakeholder yang terlibat dalam pengembangan destinasi Ekowisata Mangrove Wonorejo yang berasal dari berbagai latar belakang, serta terdapat stakeholder yang menjadi penanggung jawab pada tujuan kepariwisataan maupun konservasi.

Abstract

Lombok is a Super Priority Destination for development by the Ministry of Tourism. The Tourism Village Program is also another priority in developing a destination so that people can have income without migrating to other areas. The Tourism Villages of Kembang Kuning and Tetebatu are pilot villages and both have entrances to Mount Rinjani and Swallow's Nest Waterfall. The system used by the two Tourism Villages is bottom-up so that people's awareness of tourism has grown and is well developed. Starting from the management of homestays, BumDes and also coordination between the communities has been good. In this study, the stages of the tourism village will be identified using Community Based Tourism theory to assess the impact and effectiveness of the tourism village. With the award for Tetebatu Tourism Village from UNWTO as the Best Tourism Village, this research is worth doing because the stages that have been carried out can be recorded and become best practice for villages that want to develop the concept of a tourism village using Community Based Tourism.

Abstract

Development of the tourist industry in the Ujungberung District of Bandung City is focused on the Sein Farm's agrotourism concept (Sekemala Integrated Farm). According to the circumstances, there are issues with the implementation of commercial tourism, outreach, and education activities due to Covid-19 limitations, the lack of an integrated information system, a relatively small marketing scale, as well as the location of Sein Farm's limited accessibility by public transportation. The idea of integrated and sustainable agriculture is then examined using SWOT analysis, social, economic, and environmental analysis, and tourism activity analysis. The outcomes of these analyses are used to establish future strategy for the Sein Farm location.

Abstract

Perkembangan makanan dan minuman yang ada pada suatu daerah tidak lepas kaitannya dengan destinasi wisata yang ada pada daerah tersebut dan potensi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut menjadi wsata kuliner atau bahkan gastronomy tourism. Kota Malang sebagai destinasi wisata memberikan pengaruh pada perkembangan makanan dan minuman yang diolah dan menjadi komoditas perdagangan. Kuliner Kota Malang memiliki kekhasan tersendiri dan banyak tempat makan yang telah berdiri sejak berpuluh tahun lamanya. Keterkaitannya dengan banyak destinasi wisata yang ada di Kota Malang memberikan potensi untuk pengembangan gastronomy tourism, ditambah dengan nilai historis yang ada pada makanan atau tempat makan tersebut. Kota Malang belum memiliki paket atau panduan kuliner yang terintegrasi untuk wisatawan sehingga wisatawan harus mencari informasi sendiri dari internet yang seringkali kurang mengangkat aspek yang penting terkait dengan gastronomy tourism. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kuliner khas Kota Malang yang memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan gastronomy tourism di Kota Malang sehingga dapat memperkaya destinasi wisata yang ada dan mendukung pariwisata di Kota Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif terhadap data berupa literatur yang didapatkan dari artikel yang membahas tema selaras. Selain itu dilakukan analisis terhadap pengembangan gastronomy tourism sesuai dengan teori yang berkembang. Hasil penelitian adalah Kota Malang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi gastronomy tourism terkait dengan banyaknya kuliner yang memiliki nilai historis dan didukung dengan banyaknya daya tarik wisata yang tersebar di seluruh Kota Malang. Pengembangan gastronomy tourism tersebut dapat memberikan dampak positif pada destinasi wisata Kota Malang, sehingga diperlukan adanya integrasi antara gastronomy tourism dan destinasi wisata yang didukung oleh stakeholder terkait.
