Abstract

Given Alabio ducks ( Anas platyrinchos Borneo ) is a commodity that can be developed on wetlands , the study aims to illustrate the potential and development of duck farms that can be relied upon by the provincial government in making policies for the advancement of this duck commodities , especially in the aspect of markets , human resources , and financial aspects . These three aspects have been given the results of several previous studies that the three aspects mentioned this is still an issue in the development of duck and production results . Hulu Sungai Utara as duck production centers serve as a test site . Qualitative analysis of the domain and toksonomi method used as a tool in analyzing the data of this study . The results show : First , aspects of financing shows that the business is viable and profitable , especially on a large scale . Second , the market requires a lot of innovation in creating related products. Third , explain aspects of human resource regeneration is still a problem and also the managerial constraints such as planning , standardization and quality in all phases .

Abstract

Return is the profit in the future which is compensation for the risk associated with the investments made. One instrument is a capital investment in the stock market. The purpose of this study to examine the effect of macroeconomic variables (market profit rate, exchange rate, inflation, interest rates) to the Food and Baverage stock returns.The samples in this study were shares in food and industrial sectors baverage listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2007- Sampling using purposive sampling and obtain samples 17 companies. Data taken from the financial statements issued by a public company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Analysis of the data in this study using multiple regression with teory Arbitrage Price Theory (APT). The results of the study by testing the coefficient of determination (R square) concluded baverage food and stock returns can be explained by the four independent variables (macroeconomic Variebel) of 23.3%. F test results in this study indicate that macroeconomic variables (market profit rate, exchange rate, inflation and interest rate) as a whole has significant influence.T test results in this study indicate that the variable profit rate, exchange rate, inflation has no significant effect, while interest rates have a significant effect on the Food and Baverage stock returns

Abstract

This research examines the influence of corporate governance toward corporate performance, in this case market performance and financial performance. The rating of corporate governance perception index (CGPI) for 2008 until 2010 by The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance is used to measure the corporate governance implementation and Tobin’s Q as a market performance measurement with Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Assets (ROA) as financial performance measurement. The control variables used are leverage, age, type of industry and size of firm. This study is causal research which companies that scored CGPI and financial statement during 2008-2010 were drawn using purposive sampling method. Research data are pooling data which combines time series and cross sectional data during the observation period 2008-2010. This research employs a multiple regression to test hypothesis that corporate governance and corporate performance are positively related. From the first regression equation, the result of this study shows that there is influence between corporate governance perception index and market performance (Tobin’s Q) during crisis while the control variables have no effect on market performance unless leverage levels negatively affect the market performance of the company during the global economic crisis. The second regression equation shows that there is influence between corporate governance perception index and financial performance (ROE) during crisis while the control variables have no effect on financial performance (ROE). The third regression equation shows that there has no influence between corporate governance perception index (CGPI) and the control variables to financial performance (ROA) during the global economic crisis 2008-2010

Abstract

Nowadays, banks are actively using twitter in order to maintain relationships with customers. Unfortunately, the trend of using social media as Relationship Maintenance Strategy (RMS) for the banking industry is not supported by adequate research in the realm of marketing public relation science. Positivity, openness, task sharing, networking, access, and assurance are six dimensions that can be used to measure the application of RMS through twitter. Thus, this research aims to analyze whether there are differences in the implementation of RMS in the Indonesia Banking Industry through content analysis of its official twitter. The banks that will be further investigated are the three top banks belonging to Indonesia Bank Loyalty Index (IBLI) and Most Followed Bank (MFB). Research findings resulted Banks belonging to IBLI and MFB group has a different level implementation of RMS through twitter. The overall level of implementation were found in two groups are still very low, especially in the task sharing dimension. IBLI banks more implement the dimension of RMS than MFB bank group. Assurance was most widely used on the two banking groups.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of labor discipline, motivation and leadership as an independent variable either partially or simultaneously on employee job satisfaction as the dependent variable on the company PT. Bumi Barito Main branch of Banjarmasin. The research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 39 employees of PT. Bumi Barito Main branch of Banjarmasin. Measurement variables by using a Likert scale with a score of 1 to 5 scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression statistical techniques and to test the significant level using the F test and t-test with SPSS all assistance. Partial results of the study showed that labor discipline and a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, motivation variable positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and leadership variable positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The results showed that the variables simultaneously work discipline, motivation and leadership, and a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Of the three independent variables studied variables that have the greatest influence / motivation is the dominant variable in the regression coefficient of 0.464 or 46.4% on job satisfaction compared with the other two independent variables.

Abstract

Private store brands sebagai pasar ritel kehadirannya mencolok dari merek- merek toko lainnya. Kemajuan dalam teknologi telah mengubah pilihan rasa dan preferensi pelanggan. Apa yang dirasakan konsumen secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan loyalitas merek sebagai hasil dari strategi pemasaran tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi profil dari pelanggan berdasarkan variabel demografi, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian merek pakaian, mengetahui faktor-faktor keterlibatan yang mempengaruhi loyalitas merek, dan perceptual mapping pelanggan berdasarkan pengguna produk dan faktor keterlibatan. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Faktor dan Biplot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Profil dari pelanggan private store apparel brands meliputi berjenis kelamin laki-laki, usia respon- dennya 20-29 tahun, belum nikah, tidak mempunyai anak, berpendidikan Sarjana, berpendapatan Rp.2.000.000,- sampai Rp2.999.999,-. Struktur faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian adalah kepribadian, kelompok referensi dan keluarga. Sedangkan faktor yang paling dominan adalah kepribadian. Struktur faktor keterlibatan dalam memprediksi perilaku loyalitas merek adalah sign dan risk importance, risk probability, pleasure, interest, serta pleasure dan risk probability. Sedangkan yang paling dominan adalah sign dan risk importance. Pelanggan yang berpendapatan menengah, memiliki pekerjaan wiraswasta, dan karyawan swasta serta berpendidikan tinggi dekat dengan semua faktor yang terbentuk.

Abstract

High corporate value of a company will attract investors to invest in the company. Company value on companies that went public in the long-term improvement is affected by profitability, the higher the value of the company’s profitability is also higher the value of the company, and the lower the profitability of a company reflects the low value of the company. Investors buy stocks in companies that go pubilc in order to benefit from the investments made. This study aimed to analyze the influence of Liquidity and Leverage on Profitability and Value.The population used in this study is a banking company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2007 to 2011 by 31 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Samples taken in this study were 20 companies for 5 years. Techniques of data analysis in this study using Path analysis.The results showed that: 1) no significant positive effect of liquidity on profitability. 2) leverage gives a significant positive effect on profitability. 3) liquidity is not significant positive effect on a firm value. 4) Liquidity positive effect on company value through profitability. 5) Leverage gives a significant positive effect on firm value. 6) Leverage has a positive effect on firm value through profitability. 7) Profitability gives a significant positive effect on company value.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the influence among communication (X ), leadership (X ), and work motivation (X ) as indefendent variables either 1 2 3 partially or simultaneously toward employee’s performance (Y) as dependent variable at Kantor Wilayah XII DJKN Banjarmasin. The method of this research used questionnaire with 32 employees of Kantor Wilayah XII DJKN Banjarmasin as a sample and it has been selected from population as 45 emplyees. The variables measurement uses Likert’s Scale technique with weighting scale from 1 to 5. To find out the correlation among 1 X X 2 3 variables X towards Y uses statistical technique of correlation analysis, multiple linear regression and to test the significance rate uses F test and t test processed with SPSS Program. 1 The result of research concludes that there is a positive significant influence from each indefendent variable’s toward the dependent variable. From the three indefendent variables, the highest percentage (25.9%) is the communication (X ) as compared with the two other independent variables. And there is a significant simultaneously influence from the three independent variables toward the variable of employee’s performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the promotion mix (advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, and direct marketing and on-line) partial and simultaneous decision to purchase prime numbers TELKOMFlexi in Banjarmasin city. This research was conducted using a survey method, which is carried out on 219 respondents spread across five districts in the city of Banjarmasin. This is a descriptive study and verification. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, interviews and document searches, while the method of data analysis is a data analysis using Structur Equetion Modelling (SEM). The results showed that the promotional mix consisting of: advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, do not have a significant influence on the purchase decision process TelkomFlexi Prime Numbers in Banjarmasin city, while the variables that are significant public relations and direct marketing to the buying decision process Prime Numbers TelkomFlexi in the city of Banjarmasin.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the abnormal stock return of property companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange as a result of the announcement of Bank Indonesia on the restriction of the maximum Loan to Value (LTV) of the mortgage loans. This study uses event study, which observed the average abnormal return over the 10 days prior to the announcement up to 10 days thereafter. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the abnormal returns before and after the announcement. However, there is an increase in the number of days that experienced abnormal returns, ie 2 (two) days in the period before the announcement of a 5 (five) days in the period thereafter. While at the moment of announcement there is no abnormal return. This suggests that the effect of the announcement was not immediately responded by the market, but there is a lag time for the market to react. These conditions may be caused investors do not have the experience to identify and measure the impact of LTV mortgage regulation. Significant abnormal return occurs also varies, which is experiencing abnormal gain 3 days and 4 days of having abnormal loss, which shows the confusion in the market so it happened a few times stock price correction. Another possibility for the market considers these policies also have a positive side. Properties company performance may be declining, but the industry would likely have a positive impact in the long run because it will reduce the risk of price bubbles.
