Abstract

Batik craft in Banjarnegara Regency is one of superior product with Gumelem Kulon Village, Gumelem Wetan and Penetan Village Wetan, Susukan Sub-district as its center. There are 59 UKM batik tulis and 11 UKM batik cap in Susukan. UKM is spread in Gumelem Wetan Village 26 UKM, Gumelem Kulon Village 29 UKM, Village Penangkusan Wetan 11 UKM, Kulon 2 UKM and Susukan 2 UKM. The use of natural dyes in batik business become environmentally friendly business potential. Batik UKM in Kecamatan Susukan engaged in batik activities with natural dye there are two UKM that using natural dyes is Giri Alam and Prana Mukti. Both UKM began the production of batik tulis with natural dyes since2015. The purpose of this community service activities was to help batik craftsmen in improving their income and welfare with a healthy production process and environmentally friendly. This activity uses socialization of natural dyes based on local potential, health and safety socialization in batik process, business management and production assistance activities and advisory activities for the application of liquid waste processing technology. The result of this activity are innovation of batik cap product with natural dye, method of application of wastewater treatment technology, metod of application of electric stove technology for melt wax, community empowerment model by giving priority to safety and hearlth of batik craftsmen group.

Abstract

Universal access to adequate sanitation are basic needs and human rights. One of the goals of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the sixth point is to ensure the availability of clean water and sustainable sanitation for everyone (WHO, 2017). The results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2013 showed that the number of households in Indonesia using latrines with septic tanks reached 66%. The number of households that still do open defecation is 12.9%. One of the sub-districts in Banjarnegara whose coverage of access to healthy latrines is still low is Purwanegara Sub-district which is 60,04%. Based on a preliminary survey in the village of Kalitengah in Purwanegara sub-district, the coverage of healthy latrine access is still very low at 28%. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of ownership of healthy latrines in Kalitengah Village, Purwanegara District. This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. The study was conducted in July-September 2018. The sample in this study were 93 families. Data collection is done through interviews and observations. Interviews with questionnaires were used to reveal the characteristics of respondents. Direct observation in the field to observe latrine sanitation conditions. The statistical design used is univariate analysis. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents were dominated by the age of 45-50 years, male gender (66,7%), primary school education level (63,4%), employment as a farmer (49,5%) and monthly income less than MSEs (61,3%). The ownership of healthy latrines has only reached 6,.12%. It is hoped that the government will provide assistance in the form of latrines that meet the requirements for residents who do not have latrines.

Abstract

The increasing of pollution, dirt, sweat and bacteria on skin surface, make the need for soap increase. One form of soap is soft soap, which made from potassium salt with fatty acids. The oil phase that can be used is cooking oil with a frequency of three times frying. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of addition of potassium hydroxide on the quality characteristics of soft soap produced. This type of research is an experimental study with a complete randomized design study of one factor on the addition of potassium hydroxide (13 g, 15 g and 17 g). Quality characteristics tests include organoleptic, pH, foam power, moisture content, free alkali and free fatty acids. Data were analyzed theoretically and statistically using Shapiro-Wilk for data normality, and Levene Statistic for data homogeneity. Normal and homogeneous data were followed by Anova test, and normal but not homogeneous data followed by Kruskal-Wallis test. Based on the results of the characteristic test showed that formula II met the quality characteristics test of soft soap, with a pH value of 10, foam power 2,26-2,30 cm, moisture content 44%, free alkali 0,08%, and free fatty acids 1,42%. Formula I does not meet the foam power test (2,20 cm) which is 2,03-2,06 cm, while the formula III does not meet the pH test requirements (7-10) that is 11. Based on the results of the data analysis the three formulas show the value (p<0,05) means that the addition of potassium hydroxide affects the quality characteristics of soft soap.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is a condition in which a pregnant woman experiences iron deficiency in her blood. WHO establishes the incidence of pregnant anemia ranging from 20% to 89% by determining Hb 11 gr% as the basis. The impact of anemia on pregnancy can occur abortion, labor prematurity, obstacles to fetal growth and development in the uterus and antepartum bleeding. Several factors that can cause anemia in pregnancy include gravida, age, parity, education level, economic status and compliance with consumption of Fe tablets. The purpose of this study was to find out the risk factors of anemia in pregnant women in public health centers in Banjarnegara on 2018. The research method was analytical surveys with cross sectional approaches. Sampling is based on total sampling totaling 50 people. The results showed that the majority were in the "non-risk parity" group of 37 respondents (74%) and most of the respondents "were not SEZ" totaling 26 respondents (52%). There is a significant relationship between parity risk factors (p-value=0.021) and nutritional status (p-value=0.002) with anemia in third trimester pregnant women.

Abstract

Hypertension has a very high prevalence in the world. Problems in hypertension are generally ignored and not considered a risk of death, even though uncontrolled hypertension is very dangerous, so prevention efforts are very important to emphasize. The purpose of this article is to describe the efforts to optimize the role of health posyandu cadres in increasing nutritional and health independence to prevent hypertension in Susukan Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. The subject of treatment was a group of posyandu cadres in Susukan village, Sumbang sub-district, Banyumas regency. This health intervention study uses one group pre and post test design. The treatment were consisted of increasing knowledge about hypertension, training in early detection of hypertension, modification of low-salt foods according to the nutritional needs of the elderly, and preparation of food menus for elderly hypertensive people that made from local food. Before and after treatment, the respondent's understanding was evaluated with a knowledge level questionnaire and early detection ability was assessed qualitatively. The results showed that the level of knowledge of cadres about hypertension, and early detection skills by carrying out blood pressure checks increased significantly. The conclusion of this study is that the mentoring model is effective in optimizing the role of Posyandu cadres to improve nutrition and health independence to prevent hypertension in the elderly.

Abstract

Healthy water is needed to achieve optimal health status. Unhealthy water can be a medium of disease transmission. Springs are one of the water sources that are widely used by community in the work area of Puskesmas Rakit 1 for hygiene sanitation and drinking water sources. The results of the preliminary study carried out on the springs in Gelang Village showed that springs containing Total Coliform were > 2400 CFU/100 ml which exceeded the quality standard (50 CFU/100 ml). The community also complained that the spring sometimes smelled unpleasant. Odors arising from springs can be caused due to iron and manganese content. This is a survey research with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling, namely choosing a spring that is used for hygiene sanitation or as a source of drinking water. A sample of 5 springs in each village in the working area of Puskesmas Rakit 1 so that 30 samples of springs were obtained. The results showed that based on the parameters of Total Coliform and manganese (Mn) as many as 25 (83.33%) and 2 (6.67%) springs with quality that did not qualify as water for hygiene sanitation, respectively. A total of 30 (100%) springs with iron (Fe) content are eligible as water for hygiene sanitation purposes. The community must treat water from the spring before it is used to fulfill their daily needs.

Abstract

Jumlah kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di Desa Wanadri Kabupaten Banjarnegara pada bulan Januari tahun 2016 sebanyak 45 orang dengan 1 orang meninggal (data Puskesmas Bawang 2, Desa Wanadri Kabupaten Banjarnegara). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (PSN) dengan kejadian Demam Berdarah Dengue. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional dengan desain cross sectional sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 61 orang responden. Data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi dan dianalisis dengan uji chi Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa yang membersihkan tempat penampungan air sebanyak 32.8%, menutup rapat-rapat tempat penampungan air sebanyak 37.7%, kebiasaan memakai kelambu sebanyak 13.1%, memelihara ikan pemakan jentik 11.5%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa membersihkan tempat penampungan air (p=0.000) dan menutup rapat-rapat tempat penampungan air (p=0.005) berhubungan dengan kejadian demam berdarah dengue, sedangkan memakai kelambu (p=0.422) dan memelihara ikan pemakan jentik (p=0.365) tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian demam berdarah dengue. Implikasi klinis dari penelitian ini adalah agar masyarakat Desa Wanadri Kecamatan Bawang untuk lebih sering dapat mengupayakan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (PSN) demam berdarah dengue (DBD) yaitu dengan membersihkan dan menutup rapat-rapat tempat penampungan air.

Abstract

Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) dan angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) merupakan salah satu indikator untuk melihat derajat kesehatan ibu dan bayi. Jumlah kasus kematian ibu di Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada tahun 2018 sebanyak 421 kasus, mengalami penurunan dibandingkan jumlah kasus kematian ibu tahun 2017 yang sebanyak 475 kasus. Dengan demikian Angka kematian ibu Provinsi Jawa Tengah juga mengalami penurunan 88,05 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup pada tahun 2017 menjadi 78,60 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup pada tahun 2018 (Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Tengah, 2018).Tujuan penelitian adalah menggambarkan kesehatan ibu hamil yang mengikuti program OSOC Prodi kebidanan tahun 2019. Metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil yang mengikuti program OSOC Prodi Kebidanan tahun 2019 yang berjumlah 48 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut kondisi kehamilan dalam kategori normal sejumlah 36 (75%) responden; ibu bersalin dalam kondisi normal sejumlah 40 (83.33%) responden; ibu melahirkan bayi dalam kondisi normal sejumlah 46 (95.83%) responden; ibu nifas dalam kondisi normal sejumlah 48 (100%) responden dan ibu memilih KB jenis MKJP sejumlah 41 (85.42%) responden. Saran agar pendampingan mahasiswa dengan metodeContinuity Of Care dapat dijadikan sebagai model pembelajaran klinik di Institusi Pendidikan Kebidanan dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa bidan dalam memberikan asuhan kebidanan.

Abstract

Unmet need berpotensi mengakibatkan kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan. Kehamilan yangtidak diinginkan dihadapkan pada dua hal yang berisiko. jika kehamilan diakhiri (aborsi), makaberpeluang untuk terjadinya komplikasi aborsi yang dapat berkontribusi terhadap kematian ibu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui hambatan personal yang menyebabkan perilaku unmet needpada wanita usia subur di Banjarnegara. Penelitian ini merupakan studi fenomenologi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untukmengetahui dan mengkaji faktor yang mempengaruhi unmet need. Jumlah sampel yang digunakandalam penelitian ini berjumlah 7 responden wanita usia subur sebagai informan utama. 1 orang bidansebagai triangulasi data. Analisis data kualitatif dideskripsikan dan dirangkum dari kata-kata dari hasil observasi ataupengamatan. Langkah-langkah analisis data kualitatif adalah mengolah dan mempersiapkan data untukdianalisis membaca keseluruhan data, menganalisis lebih detail, membuat kategori, membuat deskripsidan tema-tema yang diperoleh kemudian disajikan dalam narasi/laporan kualitatif. Aspek psikologis menjadi alasan paling kuat dalam perilaku unmet need. Motivasi yang lemahdalam mengatur fertilitas dan tidak adanya niat untuk menggunakan kontrasepsi modern menjadifaktor penentu untuk berperilaku unmet need. Sebagian besar responden memiliki motivasi yang lemah dalam menggunakan alat kontrasepsimodern dan sebagian besar telah mengetahui efek samping alat kontrasepsi baik yang dialami sendirimaupun pengalaman orang terdekat.

Abstract

Kota Banjarnegara memiliki beberapa sektor wisata yang banyak dikunjungi wisatawan. Salahsatu sektor wisata yang diminati masyarakat Kota Banjarnegara adalah kuliner. Warung makan yangmenyediakan menu dengan tambahan lalapan daun kubis akan meningkatkan faktor risiko penularantelur cacing pada manusia sebagai konsumen. Angka keberadaan telur cacing pada lalapan kubis diBanjarnegara masih tinggi. Tercatat 23 sampel positif telur cacing dari 24 sampel yang diperiksa padatahun 2016. Salah satu faktor keberadaan telur cacing pada lalapan kubis adalah proses pencucian yangtidak bersih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran keberadaan telur cacingpada lalapan kubis yang disajikan di warung makan di Kota Banjarnegara.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode cross sectional. Populasi yangdiambil adalah seluruh warung makan yang menyajikan lalapan kubis di Kota Banjarnegara sebanyak14 warung makan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Pemeriksaan keberadaan telur cacing dilakukan menggunakan metode pengendapan di Laboratorium Kesehatan LingkunganPoliteknik Banjarnegara.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar warung makan yang diamati adalah warung tenda(85,7%) yang memiliki keterbatasan penyediaan air bersih. Dari 14 sampel yang diperiksa, terdapat 5sampel (35,7%) yang positif telur cacing. Dari 5 sampel positif, 4 sampel (28,6%) teridentifikasi telurAscaris lumbricoides dan 1 sampel (7,1%) teridentifikasi telur Enchinostoma sp. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah masih ditemukan adanya telur cacing pada lalapan kubisyang disajikan oleh warung makan di Kota Banjarnegara. Oleh karena itu proses pencucian kubis danpenyediaan air bersih perlu lebih diperhatikan agar makanan yang disajikan sehat dan aman.
