Abstract

In this recent years, social media has become a primary need for many people. Commenting on other people's statements, making complaints, finding old friends and uploading selfies exemplifies the activities in social media. From those, selfie uploaded is the most commonly done by society. According to Alfred Schuts phenomenological approach, there are two motives behind someone take selfie which are first, “in order to motive”. Someone intend to being famous and get more compliments/praise. The second one is “because motive”, someone would feel the peace/calm and satisfaction when taking a selfie and uploading it otherwise they would feel anxiety by not doing it. Regarding that motives, selfie could be transfrom as riya activity/deeds, because selfies are accompanied by the desire to get praise from human beings or something else, without wanting the pleasure of Allah SWT. The act of riya in a selfie can be prevented by avoiding areas that may appear riya deeds in it namely the area of worship, charity and clothing activities, based on the hadith of Imam Muslim number 3527, that riya can be found in worship and muamalah cases.

Abstract

Muhammad Syahrur's thoughts in several disciplines of discussion are quite interesting for researchers to discuss, both in the fields of hadith, interpretation, fiqh and al-Qur'an hermeneutics. The main theory that is of great interest to researchers in Syahrur's thinking is the limit theory. And it is from this limit theory that Syahrur constructs his thoughts on many Islamic themes, including women's clothing, genitalia and so on. So in this study, we will examine in more detail about the construction of aurat and women's clothing according to Muhammad Syahrur. This research is a library research with the main sources are two literatures by M. Syahrur, namely: Al-Kitabu wa Al-Qur`anu and Nahwa Al-Jadidah li Al-Fiqh Al-Islamiy. While the secondary sources are other relevant literature. The conclusion of this article is that the construction of Muhammad Syahrur's thoughts on genitalia, headscarves, zinah (jewelry), and all women's clothing comes from the limit theory (hudud). According to him, the upper and lower limits depend on the extent to which a person is ashamed. However, not all of his thoughts tend to contradict the majority of Muslim scholars, because before he concluded the limit theory (hudud), he also explained about the derivation of words, such as headscarves, khimar, and others.

Abstract

Keinginan ulama untuk menyampaikan dan menjelaskan kepada masyarakat tentang pemahaman kitab Al-Quran sangatlah tinggi, dari masa ke masa telah lahir banyak mufassir dengan berbagai corak penafsirannya. Diantara mereka adalah Muhammad al-Amin dengan lahirnya tafsir Hadâiq ar-Rauhi wa ar Raihân. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian Pustaka, yang menitik beratkan penelitian dengan menggali dan menela’ah sejarah hidup Muhammad al-Amin dan kitab tafsirnya Hadâiq ar-Rauhi wa ar Raihân, kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode content analisis. Dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwa Muhammad Al-Amin dalam menafsirkan al-Quran beliau menggunakan metode tahlili. Hal ini terlihat jelas dari metode Muhammad al-Amin yang menggabungkan 2 pola pendekatan; baik itu riwayah maupun dirayah.

Abstract

Dawud fast, baid or fasting 3 days every month (part of the opinion of the legal fasting is sunnah) should be mandatory fasting before the Romadon fast. The mandatory fast of the Prophet Dawud was translated into obligatory fasting, and obligatory fasting of the Prophet was translated as mandatory romadon fast. Fasting sunnah rojab, nisfu sya'ban, six days of the month of shawwal, tarwiyyah, arofat, 'asyuro, tasu'a. has been included with the fast Monday Thursday and jumu'ah. The sunnah fast that continues is the Monday and Thursday fast and jumu'ah. Fasting on Friday requires fasting on the previous day, namely Thursday, if not, then fasting afterwards is on the Saturday. This type of fasting means the meaning of الصيام in al-Baqoroh verse 183. The word الصيام in the translation of the Koran is fasting romadon. The types of fasting should be: Mandatory fasting, such as romadon nazar, qodo and kaffaroh. Sunnah fasting is fasting Monday Thursday and jumu'ah every week except the day coinciding with the day of 'idil fitr or adha and the day of tasyriq (11,12 and 13 dzulhijjah)

Abstract

Abstract: Many moslem people are not quite right and even wrong in reading verse of the Qur’an. Unconsciously, it can damage the meaning and interpretation. One reason is when the reader does not learn and understand in advance the science of how to read the Qur’an correctly and well, known as the science of Tajwid. Among the discussions of Tajwid which plays an important role in maintaining the meaning of the Qur’an verse is the science of Makharij al-Huruf. This science learns how to pronounce the letters of the Qur’an properly and correctly and in accordance with what was taught by the Prophet Muhammad. Mistakes in pronounciation can damage the meaning of the verse, but on the other hand there are also those that do not damage the meaning. For example, فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ read by فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْهَر (the letter of ح read like the sound of ه), where errors in pronouncing the letter will change the original meaning.

Abstract

Based on the existing arguments, zakat fitri can be cashed or local food ingredients. Which is best, which is easy to use, does not make it difficult for the amil, does not harm the devotee and mustahik of zakat. All worship related to food has a choice, namely, freeing the pest, fasting, feeding or clothing. Violating the obligatory pilgrimage to pay hadyu, may be paid with money, the Hajj committee is looking for the animal. The implementation of the Hajj tamattu 'and qiron pays hadyu 1 goat, so that pilgrims are not difficult to find it and pay with money. Pilgrims who are surrounded by headaches have lice, paying hadyu can also be cashed. Hunting halal or haram animals during ihram, pay the amount of the animal being hunted or the price with money. Zakat on various types of trade, then the nisob is calculated all, for 1 haul 354 days, zakat is in the form of money, not every type of sale is issued zakat. Money is a legal medium of exchange, it is easy to carry it, to exchange it. Mustahiq zakat fitri when asked prefers the form of money, even the requester himself prefers alms in the form of money. The phenomenon is that some of the amil, receive zakat fitri in the form of rice, but after buying and selling with worshipers at the mosque. The rice was bought and sold by some of the devotees, finally a lot of money was received. It has not been reviewed yet, the argument for buying and selling at the mosque is whether the rice can be sold by amyl or not. The disadvantage is that all the rice brought by the pemuzkki is expensive, the intermediate is cheap, mixed it all up, in the end it is considered cheap rice.

Abstract

The abstrek of this article aims at a gampse of the busyness of the Sangkumpal Bonang market traders in Padangsidimpuan who have various kinds of activities in serving consumers in fact, this profession has keep going down from their parents, adults, teenagers and children for various reasons, some just hobbies or economic demands, so they try their luck through business. Al the Sangkumpal Bonang market, traders serve consumers with various kinds of commerce, such as groceries seller, sea food, clother dealer and another, The implementation of commerce should be carried out correctly and in accordance with the rules of Islamic sharia which are slarted in the al-Qur’an. But some of traders there are doing transactions in a fraudulent way, such as mixing the types of quality gouds with unqualified. Takes some of the objects that are sold, plays with the scales and makes. The price of goods at will that is not in accordance with the standard. They did this act because of the increasing pressure of the economy so that they could not avoid cheating in trading. This situation is exacerbated by the covid-19 virus which is endemic to all corners of the world especially the city of Padangsidimpuan so that the selling values of their wares is decreasing and causing many of them so suffer losses due to the absence of consummers buying their wares. Slow down to sales of merchandise they sell. This habit is sometimes triggered by the lack of knowledge and understanding of traders about the correct Islamic rules of buying and selling as regulated in the al-qur’an. It is proper for traders in trading to reflect on the trading practices carried of by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. So that he traders without discriminating between beliefs. Therefore, the trade he carries out is known throughout the world.

Abstract

AbstractThe rapid development of information technology makes the phenomenon of hoaxes more widespread and spread rapidly. Basically, in this sophisticated era, all information that is true and not, is of course easily obtained through internet access (social media) which is already familiar to all people, especially in Indonesia. For that, as good Muslims, we should wisely use social media and we need to clarify in advance the information that we can receive and share with the public. This paper discusses the phenomenon of  hoaxes in the Koran by using the perspective of maqasidi interpretation. The method used is a qualitative research method or library research with maqasidi interpretation approach. As for the conclusions that can be drawn from this paper, among others: First, in responding to the widespread phenomenon of hoaxes, it can be anticipated wisely in using social media and in disseminating news, it should first overlap or clarify and be selective in sharing the news. Second, things that can be done by a good Muslim to face and anticipate the occurrence of hoax phenomena are hifz al-‘aql (salvation of reason), hifz al-nafs (salvation of souls) and hifz al-daulah (nationalists).

Abstract

Islam does not forbid its adherents to enjoy the life of the world. They are allowed and given the freedom to enjoy all the sustenance that Allah has given them. However, the behavior in expressing pleasure should not cross the predetermined line, such as excessive, extravagant and wasteful. But, the reality of the living habits of Indonesian Muslims shows that there are still many who commit wasteful acts, especially in the matter of food. Food that is not spent becomes wasted and wasted, resulting in a very large amount of waste, even up to hundreds of trillions of rupiah per year.Based on the reality of the wasteful behavior of Indonesian Muslims, the author is interested in researching this issue by describing Wahbah Az-Zuhaili's reading of wasteful terms in the book of al-Tafsir al-Munir. This research includes the description of Wahbah Az-Zuhaili regarding the meaning of the word wasteful, the causes of wasteful attitudes, threats to wasteful perpetrators, and solutions to eliminate wasteful attitudes. Thematic method is the choice in completing this research. The results of this research explain that the meaning of redundant is to manage and spend wealth or money not in the right place and not wise in its use. The cause of the emergence of wasteful behavior is not caring about religious teachings and following their lusts. The threat to the wasteful perpetrator is that he will become a brother of Satan and become a disbelief in Allah. The solution to eliminating wasteful nature is to be moderate in the use of wealth, not to distribute wealth in immoral cases, and to distribute wealth to people in need.

Abstract

This article discusses the problem of circumcision for female. In general, Hadith prescribes circumcision  for female. But, in its application, the Islamic law for female circumcision can be sunnah, or permissible. The reason is the arguments that explain about female circumcision are few and it is not explained in detail and firmly.The problem of female circumcision in Indonesia is how to circumcise them, which is not in accordance with Islamic law. Although in principle, circumcision for female both gives benefits and also is not forbidden in Islam.
