<![CDATA[This research discusses the concept of Tawasul in accordance with thearguments of the Qur'an and the Sunnah. In this study, the authors uses libraryresearch by collecting primary data such as from the Qur'an, hadith, as well as secondary source as tafsir at-Tabari, tafsir fi zilalil Qur'an, and tafsir al-Mishbah, as well as several books and theses related to the theme of tawasul. Furthemore, the verses about tawasul are studied and analyzed using the mothode of comparative interpretation of the opinions of classical and contemporart commentators. This Study indicates that the correct tawasul according to the arguments of al-Qur'an is to perform tawasul by being closer to Allah obediently and doing deeds that are pleasing to him, so that Allah erases our mistakes. In addition, there is also the concept of tawasul by asking permissionfreom Allah through wasilah righteous deeds that have been done while asking hopefully from Allah SWT.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the concept of da'wah carried out by the Prophet Noah AS which is enshrined in the sura>h Nu> h. In this study, the authors used library research by collecting the da'wah verses contained in the sura>h Nu> h} and then analyzing them by referring to the interpretation literature and books related to the research theme. In conclusion, there are at least four messages of the Prophet Nu> h} that are contained in sura>h Nu> h }, namely the command to worship and be devout to Allah SWT, to always do istighfar for all the sins that have been committed, to meditate on creation and the blessings that Allah has given, the last is to always pray for the goodness of others, especially parents.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses the concept of caring for orphans from the perspective of the Qur'an and relates it to the theory of maintaining an institution/foundation which has been recognized by the government. This study uses the method of thematic or maudhu'I exegesis, with the use of this method is expected to be an answer to the Qur'an to various problems that arise and can answer the problems of the Ummah. As the main conclusion of the study, all responsible parties; both government and society should be: firstly, both play a role in spreading a comprehensive understanding of the concept of good care of orphans, which refers to the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah. Secondly: there must be financial transparency in the management of funds, compensation, assets for orphans from the relevant foundations and institutions. Thirdly: all demands for financing education and health of orphan life are made free and all are borne by the government.]]>

<![CDATA[The interpretation of Al-Misbah was presented by Muhammad Quraish Shihab to meet the needs of society and to answer the problems that arise in society. This article will discuss the biography of Muhammad Quraish Shihab, the background and history of Al-Misbah's exegesis, study the methodology of Al-Misbah's interpretation, the characteristics and peculiarities of his interpretation, and also examine in general the advantages and things that are input into this interpretation. With the descriptive analytic method the researcher studies and describes the theme. And this study found that the Quraish Shihab emphasized a lot through his book Al-Misbah, that it is necessary to understand the Qur’an in a contextualy and not merely be fixated on text so the messages contained in it can be used in real life.]]>

<![CDATA[The purposes of this research are: (1) to discuss the role of parents in shaping the character of children in the perspectives of the Quran and as-sunnah from the pre-natal period to the age of 7; (2) to examines the role of parents in the formation of children's character on the story of the Ibrahim family and the Imran family. This research is library research by using the method of interpretation of theme (thematic). In this research, researcher collecting data from related sources that are primary (Qur'an and hadith), and secondary sources (pole of al-tura>th, parenting books, and journals). Furthermore, the verses and hadiths are reviewed and analyzed to find the meanings contained in the verse and the hadith. The results of this research show that parents have an important role in the formation of children's character, especially at the beginning of their lives. Because the majority of the roles performed by parents at the beginning of their children's lives are fundamental to build child’s character in his future.]]>

<![CDATA[Marah Labid is one of Tafsir which written by Nusantara Mufassir. Many boarding schools study about this tafsir. Nawawi al-Bantani wrote this book after seeing and interacting with his community directly. This research will expose how Nawawi al-Bantani has written this book. This research conducted the library research which did not only focus in studying Marah Labid but also the comments of others about this book. The result of this research is that Nawawi al-Bantani used Tahlili Method in interpreting al-Qur’an.]]>

<![CDATA[Al-Qur'an is very rich in meaning that still requires study to be able to know what and how the essence of its content. The ideal reading of the Al-Qur'an requires the rules that needed to be followed so the results of the reading of the Al-Qur'an are in accordance with what is expected. This study aims to examine three main principles in the process of interpreting Al-Qur'an. These are the rules of ushul fiqih, the rules of language, and the rules of logic. By the literature study method used, at the end of this study the researcher concludes that the rules are needed as an effort to minimize mistakes in studying Al-Quran, so as not to cause fatal mistakes for someone in studying the verses of the Qur'an.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to study the views of Nurcholish Madjid in the concept of Asbab Al-Nuzul and how these views have influenced his deals with the Holy Qur’an. The researcher adopted the method of induction and analysis to study this topic, where the researcher collected the writings of Nurcholish Madjid related to the causes of revelation, and then analyzed these writings to get out of them with the expected results. Among the most important of his writings on the causes of revelation is his article "Konsep Asbab Al-Nuzul Relevansinya bagi Pandangan Historis Segi-Segi Tertentu Pandangan Keagamaan", in his book "Kontekstualisasi Doktrin Islam dalam Sejarah". Perhaps one of the most important results of this research is that Nurcholish Madjid has expanded a lot in the circle of Asbab Al-Nuzul, as he sees that there are general reasons for the revelation of the Qur’an that include the social, cultural and political conditions in the Arabian Peninsula at the time of revelation, and then proceeds from this idea to new jurisprudence in the religion fields.]]>

<![CDATA[There is a global big problem during coronavirus pandemic during 2020. This problem causes many aspects of human life. There are many people who experiences feeling of stress and anxiety. The physical impact of this pandemic is so huge, but also the psychic impact of it is bigger than it. Being hopeless is not a solution, but it will increase the existed problem. Therefore, it will be very urgent to find out the way how to solve and face the difficulty kindly. Among the solution is the Islamic value in al-Qur’an. One of the strategic solutions is by remembering Allah all the day in all conditions. Implicitly by remembering Allah can bring the human to the way out of the problem. It’s caused that remembering Allah will bring peace and calmness. Through the calm condition, everyone can see the problem wisely and gradually can solve the problem.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini membahas secara mendalam fungsi dari sebuah masjid yang diambil dari Al-Qur’an Surat An- Nu>r/24: 36-38 dan mengacu kepada kitab Tafsi>r al- Muni>r. Skripsi ini ditulis dengan metode penelitian library research dan field research, yakni penulis menggunakan sumber-sumber dari buku-buku yang ada kaitannya dengan pembahasan untuk menyusun skripsi ini kemudian meneliti secara langsung dalam penelitian lapangan kepada objek yang ditentukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tersampaikannya dengan jelas apa saja fungsi dari masjid menurut kitab Tafsi>r al- Muni>r, yakni masjid sebagai tempat pembentukan aqidah, masjid sebagai tempat penyemburat hidayah, masjid sebagai tempat beribadah kepada Allah Swt, masjid sebagai tempat disemarakannya hal-hal positif, masjid sebagai tempat istirahat, masjid sebagai tempat pengaturan urusan masyarakat, masjid sebagai tempat pembentukan pribadi dan perilaku, masjid sebagai tempat kajian ilmu-ilmu, masjid sebagai tempat politik.]]>
