Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to find out theimprovement of students learning outcomes in subjects staffadministration subject using Prezi software media at the XI AP classgrader of SMKN 3 Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015, (2)to describe problems and solutions in the implementation of scientificapproach using Prezi software media in improving learning outcomesof staff administration subject at the XI AP class grader of SMKN 3Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015. This research iscollaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in twocycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, andreflection with two meetings in each cycle. The subjects were the XIAP class grader of SMKN 3 Surakarta, totaling 29 students andconsisting of 29 female students. Based on research that has beenconducted, it can be concluded that there is an increase in learningoutcomes of staff administration subject through the application ofscientific approach using Prezi software media. It was showed bypercentage of learning completeness result of staff administrationsubject with minimum grade criteria more than 75 in the first cycle of79.3% or 23 students and in the second cycle of 100% or 29 students.Problems occurred in the application of scientific approach usingPrezi software media, namely (a) teachers were lack of mastering theclass, (b) the division of time was not optimum, and (c) teachers wereless responsive to students who are inactive. Solution for thoseproblems are: (a) teachers are given guidance and motivation in theimplementation of scientific approach using Prezi Software media, (b)teachers should manage time effectively, and (c) teachers should bemore responsive to the students who have not been active in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know about DiscoveryLearning Model can increase learning activeness and achievement in “Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran” subject in the 10th AP (Administrasi Perkantoran) 3 grade of SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta in theschool year of 2014/2015. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) that was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of 4 stages: (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing and interpreting, and (4) analyzing and reflecting. In those 4 stages, the teacher involve “Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran” subject and the 10 th AP 3 graders consisting of 32 students. Based on research that have beendone, it could be concluded that the application of Discovery Learning model to “Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran” subject could improve the students‟ learning activeness and learning achievement in the 10th AP 3 grade of SMK Negeri 6 of Surakarta in the school year of 2014/2015. It can be seen from the students‟learning activeness and learning achievement improving continuously in cycle I and cycle II compare to pre-cycle stages. In pre-cycle, the students‟ activeness was 52,73% in visual activities, 48,44% in oral activities, 50,00% in writing activities, 50,78% in learning activities and 53,91% in mental activities aspect. Meanwhilethe learning achievement consisting of 3 domains could be elaborated as follows: (1) cognitive domain reached the mean class score of 71,69, (2) affective domain reached 50%, and (3) psychomotor reached 81,25%. In cycle I, the students‟ activeness improved to 63,67% in visual activities, 69,14% in oral activities, 75,00% in writing activities, 70,31% in listening activities, and 53,91% inmental activities. In addition to activeness, the students‟ learning achievement consisting of 3 domains also improved. The mean class reached 75,25 for cognitive, 65,63% for affective, and 84,38% for psychomotor domains. Then, in cycle II, the students‟ activeness and learning achievement also improved. The first improvement was that of activeness in visual activities of 85,55%, oral activities of 80,86%, writing activities of 82,03%, listening activities of 82,42%, and mental activities of 83,59%. The second improvement was that of learning achievement consisting of 3 domains (1) cognitive domain with the mean class score of 82,69, (2) affective domain reached 100%, and (3) psychomotor domain reached 96,88%. From the result of research, it could be concluded that the application of Discovery Learning model to “Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran” subject could improve the students‟ activeness and learning achievement in  the 10th AP 3 grade of SMK Negeri 6 of Surakarta in the school year of 2014/2015.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuipeningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X AP 1 pada matapelajaran prinsip­prinsip penyelenggaraan administrasi perkantoran diSMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif metode make a match. Penelitian ini merupakanPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian ini adalah gurumata pelajaran prinsip­prinsip penyelenggaraan administrasiperkantoran dan peserta didik kelas X AP 1 di SMK Negeri 1Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik.Penelitian ini berkolaborasi dengan guru mata pelajaranprinsip­prinsip penyelenggaraan administrasi perkantoran, peneliti danpartisipasi aktif dari peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan datadilakukan melalui empat teknik, yaitu: (1) observasi, (2) wawancara,(3) tes, dan (4) analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanpeningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaranprinsip­prinsip penyelenggaraan administrasi perkantoran. Hal inidibuktikan pada siklus I dan siklus II bahwa hasil belajar peserta didikselalu meningkat. Rata­rata hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik padapra­tindakan (73,19), siklus I (83,19) dan siklus II meningkat menjadi(86,39) yaitu 58,3% peningkatannya. Sedangkan rata­rata hasil belajarpsikomorik peserta didik antar pra­tindakan (80,83), siklus I (80,33)dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 84,58 yaitu 8,34% peningkatannya.Ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik peserta didik padakriteria tuntas dengan nilai rata­rata (>75%). Dan hasil belajar afektifsiklus I terjadi peningkatan rata­rata peserta didik terutama aspekkedisiplinan hingga pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan rata­rata sikappeserta didik dengan kriteria baik. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwahasil belajar peserta didik selalu meningkat dari pra­tindakan, siklus Idan siklus II dan telah mencapai target ketuntasan yang diharapkan.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode pembelajaran make a match pada mata pelajaran Prinsip­prinsip PenyelenggaraanAdministrasi Perkantoran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar padapeserta didik kelas X AP 1 Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2014/2015.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the learningactiveness and learning result in the subject matter of MelakukanProsedur Administrasi of the students in Grade X AP 1 of StateVocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo through the application of thecooperative learning model of the Jigsaw type. This research usedtheclassroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consisted offour phases, namely:(1) planning, (2) implementation,(3) observationand interpretation, and (4) analysis and reflection. The subjects ofresearch were the students as many as 36 in Grade X AP 1 of StateVocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2014/2015.There search involved the teacher of the subject matter of MelakukanProsedur Administrasi, there searcher, and the students of the school.The data of research were collected through observation, in-depthinterview, documentation, andtest. The results of research show thestudents‟improvement of learning activeness and learning resultin thesubject matter of Melakukan Prosedur Administrasi as shown by theimprovement in CycleIand CycleII. Prior to the application of thelearning model of the Jigsaw type, the average score of their learningresult is7 3.19 with the percentage of 47.22%, and the percentages oftheir learning activeness in the aspects of visual activity, speakingactivity, listening activity, writing activity, mental activity, andemotional activityare 52.78%, 47.23%, 41.66%, 38.89%, 41.66%, and36.11% respectively. Following the treatment, the average scorebecomes 76.86 with the percentage of 66.67% in CycleIand 80.44with the percentage of 86.11% in Cycle II. Inaddition, and thepercentages of their learning activeness in the aspects of visualactivity, speaking activity, listening activity, writing activity, mentalactivity, and emotional activity become 72.22%, 61.11%, 84.34%,61.11%, 91.67%, and 91.66% in CycleIand 88.88%, 91.88%, 94.44%,94.44%, 97.22%, and 97.22% in CycleII. Thus, the application of thecooperative learning model of the Jigsaw type can improve thelearning activeness and learning result in the subject matter ofMelakukanProsedurAdministrasi of the students in Grade X AP 1 ofState Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year2014/2015.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the activenessin Archive subject matter of the students in Grade X of OfficeAdministration of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakartathrough the application of combination of the cooperative learningmodel between the mind mapping type and the make a match type.The type of research conducted by the researchers is theClassroom Action Research (CAR). This research used theclassroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consisted ofplanning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of research were 32 students grade X department of office administration of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta. Thedata sources of research were the subject matter teacher and thestudents. Techniques of data collected trought observation,documentation and interview method. The data were analyzed byusing the descriptive comparative technique of analysis. The result ofresearch shows that the application of combination of the cooperativelearning model between the mind mapping type and the make a matchtype can improve the student‟s activeness in archive subject matter asmuch as 53.75%. Prior to the treatment the students‟ activeness is31.26%. Following the treatment, it becomes 55.01% in Cycle I and85.01% in Cycle II. In addition, the percentage of each aspect of thestudents‟ activeness also improves as much as 50%. Prior to thetreatment, the percentage of the visual aspect activities is 34.38%.Following the treatment, it becomes 56.26% in Cycle I and 84.38% inCycle II. The percentage of the oral aspect activities improves asmuch as 59.37%. Prior to the treatment, the percentage of the oralaspect activities is 2.88%. Following the treatment, it becomes46.88% in Cycle I and 81.25% in Cycle II. The percentage of thedrawing aspect activities improves as much as 87.51%. Prior to thetreatment, the percentage of the drawing aspect activities is 0%.Following the treatment, it becomes 53.13% in Cycle I and 87.51% inCycle 2. The percentage of the mental aspect activities improves asmuch as 56.26%. Prior to the treatment, the percentage of the mentalaspect activities is 31.25%. Following the treatment, it becomes59.38% in Cycle I and 87.51% in Cycle II. The percentage of the emotional aspect activities improves as much as 46.87%. Prior to the treatment, the percentage of the emotional aspect activities is 37.51%. Following the treatment, it becomes 59.83% in Cycle I and 84.38% in Cycle II. Thus, the application of combination the cooperative learning model between the mind mapping type and the make a match type can improve the activeness in Archive subject matter of the students in Grade X of Office Administration of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuipenerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw denganKancing Gemerincing dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa padakompetensi dasar memahami azas, tujuan, dan jenis tata ruang kantormata pelajaran Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran pada siswa kelasX Pemaaran 1 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam duasiklus penelitian, dimana pada setiap siklus terdiri atasperencanaan,pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitianadalah siswa kelas X Pemasaran 1 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta yangberjumlah 32 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan siswa. Teknikpengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, analisisdokumen, dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi datadan triangulasi metode. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisisdeskriptif komparatif dan analisis kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukanbahwa melalui penerapan kolaborasi model pembelajaran kooperatifJigsaw dan Kancing Gemerincing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajarsiswa. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, pada aspekpengetahuan tingkat ketuntasannya meningkat sebanyak 40,55%dengan rincian pada prasiklus penelitian tingkat ketuntasan siswasebanyak 43,75% meningkat menjadi 68,75% pada siklus I danmeningkat menjadi 84,30% pada siklus II. Pada aspek sikap tingkatketuntasannya meningkat sebanyak 34,40% dengan rincian padaprasiklus penelitian tingkat ketuntasan siswa sebanyak 53,10%meningkat menjadi 71,90% pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi87,50% pada siklus II. Pada aspek keterampilan tingkat ketuntasannyameningkat sebanyak 29% dengan rincian pada prasiklus penelitiantingkat ketuntasan siswa sebanyak 59,40% meningkat menjadi78,10% pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 87,50% pada siklus II.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate the collaboration of the cooperative learning model of the NHT type andthe PBL learning model to improve the learning activeness and resultin the Public Relation and Protocol subject matter of the students inGrade XI Office Administration 2 of State Vocational High School 1of Boyolali in Academic Year 2015 / 2016. This research used theclassroom action research method with two cycles. Each cycleconsisted of four phases, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation,(3) observation, and (4) reflection. Its subject was the students asmany as 32 in Grade XI Office Administration of State VocationalHigh School 1 of Boyolali. The data sources of the research were ateacher and the students. The data of research were collected throughobservation, test, and documentation. They were validated by usingthe data collection triangulation, and method triangulation, andcontent validity. The data were analyzed by using the descriptivecomparative model of analysis and the critical model of analysis. Thestudents‟ learning activeness in the visual aspect was 13.79% in Precycle. Then it became 62.50% in Cycle I and 87.50% in Cycle II respectively. Furthermore, the students‟ learning activeness in the oral activity aspect was 20.69% in Pre-cycle. Next, it became 62.50% in Cycle I and 90.63%in Cycle II. In addition, the students‟ learning activeness in the listening activity aspect was 17.24% in Pre-cycle. Then it became 68.75% in Cycle I and 87.50% in Cycle II. Finally, the students‟ learning activeness in the writing activity aspect was 27.69% in Pre-cycle. Then, it became 81.25% in Cycle I and 100% in Cycle II. The percentage of the students who attained the minimum learning completeness was 46.87% with the average score of 84.74 in Precycle. Then, it became 75.00% with the average score of 85.63 in Cycle I and 93.75% with the average score of 96,25 in Cycle II respectively.

Abstract

There are three goals in this research: 1) to find the relation between motivation and decision making; 2) to find the relation between family environment and decision making; 3) to find the relation between motivation with family environment and decision making. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. It was conducted on March – June 2016. The research population was the entire students of Office Administration Education batch 2015. The researcher used total population sampling and the amount of the sample in this research was 52 students. For the data gathering technique, the researcher used observation and questionnaire. The researcher analyzed the data using multiple linear regression with prerequisite test. There are two results in this research: 1) there is a significant positive relation between motivation and decision making based on r hitung>r which is 0.414>0.231 at significance of 5% 2) there is a significant positive relation between family environment and decision making based on r tabel hitung >r which is 0.395>0.231 at significance of 5% 3) there is a significant positive relation between motivation with family environment and decision making based on Fhitung > Ftabel tabel which is 8.193>0.410 at significance of 5% The amount of donation motivation family environment towards decision making score is 25.1%.

Abstract

The research aims to know determine whether there are (1) the effect of assignment learning method on introduction administration office course in the XI graders od Administration Office Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year of 2015/2016 ; (2) the effect of utilization of learning media on introduction administration office course in the XI graders od Administration Office Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year of 2015/2016 ; (3) the effect of assignment learning method and utilization of learning media on introduction administration office course in the XI graders od Administration Office Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year of 2015/2016. This study is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The population of research is all XI graders of Administration Office Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year of 2015/2016 consisting of 71 students. The sample consisted of 59 atudents. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. Meanwhile technique of collecting data used is questionnaire and documentation technique. Technique of analyzing data used is statistic test with multiple regression analysis. Considering the result of data analysis, it could be conclud that (1) there was a significant effect of assignment teaching methods on learning outcomes Introduction Administrative subjects in class XI Competency Office Administration in SMK N 1 Karanganyar the school year of 2015/2016, is evident from the correlation value of 0.435> rtabel (0.235) and supported from tcount amounted to 5.273> t table (1.995) with a probability value of 0.000 means that less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha1 accepted ; (2) there is significant influence utilization of instructional media for learning outcomes Introduction Adminisrasi subjects in class XI Competence Offices Office Administration in SMK N 1 Karanganyar the school year of 2015/2016, is evident from the correlation value of 0.440> rtabel (0.235) and supported on value thitung 5.318> t table (1.995) with a probability value of 0.000 means that less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha2 accepted ; (3) there is significant influence learning method of assignment and utilization of instructional media on the results of study subjects in the class Introduction to Office Administration Office Administration XI Competency SMK N 1 Karanganyar In the school year of 2015/2016, proved of value Fhitung 25.388> F table (3 , 13) with a significance value of 0.000 at significant level of 0.05, then Ho is rejected and HA3 accepted and supported from the value of the effective contribution of the variable method of learning the assignment and utilization of instructional media contributed 42.7% to the learning outcomes of subjects Introduction to Office Administration.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know about: (1) the appropriateness of Modul Kearsipan based on 2013 curriculum seen by the utilization of teachers and students of the tenth grade of Office Administration of Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 6 Surakarta; (2) the problems of the teachers and the students in utilizing the Modul Kearsipan based on 2013 curriculum which implicated in the Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 6 Surakarta; (3) the solutions to solve the problems of the teachers and the students in utilizing the Modul Kearsipan based on 2013 curriculum which implicated in the Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 6 Surakarta. This research used qualitative method with the case study as the research approach. The informants in this research are the teachers of Archival subject, the productive teachers of Office Administration, the tenth grade students of Office Administration. The data collection used interactive analysis where the activities involved were data reduction, data display, and also conclusion drawing and verification. The data validity was done by using triangulation method and source. From the finding of the research, it can be concluded that (1) the appropriateness of the Modul Kearsipan based on 2013 curriculum seen by the utilization of the teachers and the students consisted of: (a) Modul Kearsipan of the tenth grade students of the second semester for SMK based on 2013 curriculum is appropriate with all of the indicators of the content appropriateness of the module. (b) Modul Kearsipan of X of the second semester for SMK based on 2013 curriculum is appropriate with all of the indicators of language appropriateness. (c) Modul Kearsipan of X of the second semester for SMK based on 2013 curriculum is not yet completing the two indicators of display appropriateness, however it has completed the three indicators of display appropriateness. (d) Modul Kearsipan of the second semester for SMK based on 2013 curriculum is not yet completing one of the indicator of  graphic appropriateness, however it has completed the three indicator of the rest. (2) The problems faced are: (a) the less of practice and exercises from the module, (b) the type of the module is less organized, (c) the less of the examples from the electronic archival material, (d) the goal of the learning is not displayed, (e) the utilization of the students on the module. (3) The solutions are done as follows: (a) adding the exercises for students’ practice, (b) retyping of the unorganized module, (c) adding the materials and examples for electronic archival, (d) displaying the goal of the learning in the module, (e) the utilization of the module through the facility of the library.
