Abstract

AbstractFactors in students, some of which are anxiety, motivation and interest. These are the students’ internal factors that influence each of their activities in school, one of which is “Market Day” activities. This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and interest both singly and in combination with students' anxiety in participating in “Market Day” activities. This study uses causal correlation techniques with motivatio (x1) and interest (x2) as free variables and the bounded variables namely anxiety (y). Data was taken using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data was taken from two elementary schools in Pacitan with the amount of respondents as many as 116 students from grades 4, 5 and 6. The data analysis was carried out using simple and multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of data analysis concluded that: 1) Motivation is not related to students' anxiety in participating in “Market Day” activities. 2) Interest has a negative relationship with students' anxiety in participating in “Market Day” activities. The negative relationship was at the strong level with an effective contribution of 62.1%. And 3) Motivation and interest jointly have a strong relationship with students' anxiety in participating in “Market Day” activities. The relationship has an effective contribution of 63.3%, where 2% comes from motivational factors and 61.3% comes from interest factors.Keywords:Motivation, Anxiety, Interest, Market Day

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to (1) produce textbook based on nationalism using suitable VCT method for students, and (2) examine the effectivity of textbook based on nationalism by using VCT method to improve nationalism understanding of elementary school students.This study is a Research and Development (R & D) with a Brog and Gall model.The validation of products involved 2 experts. The tryout involved 27 students of grade II in Trirenggo I Elementary School through three trials, that preliminary field testing, main field testing, and operational field testing. The data were collected through assessment sheet products,interview, observation, and questionnaire. The data were analyzed with independent sample t test at significance level of 0.05. The results of the study showthat textbook based on nationalism using VCT methode are foasible to use with the “very good” eligibility criteria. The effectiveness is reviewed from the result of t-test and students respon analysis.The results of observations of nationalism character values before and after the study. While the result of the students responds analysis data after using textbook developed from the content of feasibility aspects are categorized as “very good”.Keywords: textbook, nationalism, VCT method

Abstract

AbstractThis population research is intended to find out whether there is a relationship between the number of family members; father's education level, mother's education level, and student residence atmosphere with the attitude of the fifth grade students of Gentan State Elementary School, Sleman Regency to the school environment. Based on the analysis, the results of the study are as follows: (1) the correlation of the number of family members obtained by the results of rhitung 0.213 with a significant level of 5% and criticism shows 0.264. Thus there is no significant relationship between the number of family members with student attitudes towards the environment around the school. (2) the correlation of the father's education level was obtained by rcount 0.874 with a significant level between the level of education of the father obtained by rcount 0.874 with a significant level of 5% and criticism showing the number 0.264. Thus there is a significant relationship between the level of education of the father and the attitude of students towards the environment around the school (3) the correlation between the level of education of the mother obtained 0.850 with a significant level of 5% and criticism shows the number 0.624. Thus there is a significant relationship between the level of education of mothers with student attitudes toward the environment 5% and criticism shows a number of 0.624 with a significant level of 5% and criticism shows a number of 0.624. Thus there is a significant relationship between the atmosphere of residence and student attitudes towards the school environment. Relating to the results of research conducted by the school. (4) the correlation of the atmosphere of the student's residence is calculated to be 0,738 with a significant level by drawing conclusions, that (1) the number of family members does not affect students 'attitudes towards the school environment (2) the education level of the father and mother influences students' attitudes towards the school environment and (3) the atmosphere of the residence has a profound effect on student attitudes to the school environment.Keywords: environment, family, student attitudes

Abstract

AbstractThe development of science and technology makes various aspects of people's lives change according to development. The education and learning aspect is one that follows these developments. Learning development and innovation continues. The development of teaching materials with high-level thinking skills is one of them. Based on the data obtained, it is needed teaching materials with high-level thinking skills that are simple and easy to use, close to children or in the context around the area where the school is located, and contain material that is sufficient as a source of learning and exam preparation. Abstract

AbstractHigh-level thinking skills have become demands from the Curriculum section of 2013, in addition to increasing students' understanding in various learning content. Less conducive learning atmosphere, so that influences the low HOTS and student learning outcomes, then comic-assisted scientific collaboration (saiberkom) to overcome the problem. This study uses a class action research design, carried out in two cycles in which there are four main stages of activity, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. In this action research uses data from tests, observations, journals, interviews, documentation, and using descriptive analysis. The results of the study in the first cycle showed an increase in HOTS and student learning completeness from 30% on pre-cycle to 60%. In cycle II HOTS increased to 80% and student learning completeness reached 90%. From these results, it was concluded that HOTS and the quality of fourth grade students had increased with the presence of telecoms.Keywords: scientific, comic, HOTS, learning outcomes, and the nature of science

Abstract

AbstractChildhood maturation can develop perfectly can be taken through formal education institutions. Thus, other institutions need to be, as alternative institutions, including Home Schools. This can be developed as an alternative institution to improve education quality. Home School is formally valid, because based on Republic of Indonesia Law Number 20 of 2003, concerning the National Education System, namely the informal education pathway, and based on the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 129 of 2014, concerning Home Schools. While the form of Home School is: (1) Home School, (2) Compound Home School, and (3) Community Home School. Home Schools can determine the desired teacher themselves according to the purpose of establishing a Home School. Also the learning system tends to be individual and small group systems. Professional teachers who can know psychologically the talents, interests, and abilities of students, as well as individual or small group learning systems can better guarantee opportunities and the possibility of success in quality education can be achieved. Parents are advised to determine the teacher, really based on their professionalism in learning, and using individual systems, which pay more attention and provide broad opportunities for students to develop their talents, interests, and abilities.Keywords: Home School, Education, Quality

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the understanding of grade 2 students of Yogyakarta Karanganyar State Elementary School towards the concept of multiplication and division using multisensory-based interactive multimedia.The type of research used is classroom action research, with research subjects of grade 2 students of SDN Karanganyar Yogyakarta with a total of 11 students. This research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of one meeting. Data collection techniques use observation and tests. The research data was analyzed with quantitative descriptive techniques to analyze the results of the tests and qualitative descriptive to analyze the observations.The results showed that multisensory-based interactive multimedia can improve students' understanding of grade 2 SDN Karanganyar Yogyakarta on the concept of multiplication and division. This was indicated by an increase in the number of students who achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) and an increase in the average test score. The number of students who reached the KKM in the pre-test was 0.09%, the end of the first cycle was 27.27%, and the end of the second cycle was (90.91%) reached the KKM, while the average score of the test before the action was 62.55, the end of the first cycle was 63.09, and end of cycle II is 85.54.Keywords: interactive multimedia, multisensoris, multiplication, division

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the development of concrete-based learning media "RANDOM WORD BOARD" on the thematic learning system class VBSDN 2 Padokan. The study was conducted based on the current curriculum that uses the concept of thematic learning and which sometimes makes students feel difficult in finding the core subject matter delivered by teacher. This research is a development research. The method used is descriptive method. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The results of this development study indicate that learning media products are feasible to use. This is based on the results of the many samples who tried the RANDOM OF RANDOM BOARD learning media that can receive learning materials well. Abstract

AbstractTeaching and learning is an educational activity. Educational values color the interactions that occur between teachers and students. But in the learning process that is often used is the lecture method, and the result is student learning motivation is so low that it results in low student learning outcomes. This is evident from the data obtained that from 15 students in Grade IV SD 3 Puyoh Dawe  Kudus only 5 students or 30% of students completed their study. Looking at these problems, researchers are interested in conducting Classroom Action Research with the Application of Media Video Assisted Numbered Heads Together Learning Models. From the research that has been conducted for two cycles by applying Media Video assisted Numbered Heads Together learning models, it can be concluded as follows: (1) Through the application of video media assisted Numbered Heads Together Learning Models can Increase Natural Science Motivation Themes Always Save Energy on Students in Grade IV SD 3 Puyoh Dawe  Kudus 2017/2018 Academic Year become 80%. (2) Through the application of video media assisted Numbered Heads Together Learning Models can Improve Science Learning Results Themes Always Save Energy on Students in Grade IV SD 3 Puyoh Dawe  Kudus 2017/2018 Academic Year at 80% with an average score of 83.3.Keywords: Motivation, Learning Outcomes, NHT assisted video media

Abstract

 AbstrackThe purpose of this research is to increase assertive attitude with asertivve training technique to improve assertive attitude in students with disability. the development of assertiveness can be seen from how far the individual is able to actualize what he wants, express his personal opinion, have an attitude and get welfare for what his decisions. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of the study were students with disabilities SDLB B SLB Negeri 1 Bantul Data collection using questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Data collection techniques used are interactive analysis of miles and hubberman. The results of this study indicate that the factual condition of assertive disability disability after experiencing the process of Assertive Trainning experienced a significant increase, which is marked by students with deaf disability able to respect the rights of self and others, dare to express opinions in public, at the time of learning as well as in the association, honest with ourselves and others, able to determine attitude by paying attention to the situation and conditions around, able to use body language in accordance with the feelings.Keywords: deaf, disability, assertive attitude, assertive training
