Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of using Problem Based Learning on problem-solving abilities of elementary school students in science learning. The study was conducted in two elementary schools namely Gunungreja Public Elementary School 02 and MI Mafatihul Huda Cipari involving 83 students in the 5th grade. The study design used a non-randomized pretest-posttest design by dividing students in two groups: 42 control group students and 41 treatment group students . The control group is learning the material "digestive system in humans" using conventional methods, while the treatment group uses the Problem Based Learning method. To measure students' problem solving abilities, a test consisting of multiple choices and descriptions is used. The validity and reliability of the instrument were evaluated using expert judgment which was then tested on class VI students of Kalierang State Elementary School 05. To find out the improvement of students 'problem solving abilities in both groups used a t test against normalized gain values of students' problem solving abilities. The results of the data analysis showed differences in the increase in problem solving abilities that were significant between the groups that applied PBL and conventional learning groups.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, problem solving, science learnin

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to improve social studies learning achievements through the Student Times Achievement Division (STAD) method in third grade students of Ngraho State Elementary School Kedungtuban Blora. The subject of this study was 15 students, consisting of 8 male students and 7 female students. This study is a Classroom Action Research model Kemnis and Mc. Taggart. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. In each cycle there are 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research instrument used was the test item, observation sheet and student response questionnaire. The test results data were analyzed quantitatively descriptively using the average learning achievement and the percentage of mastery learning. Data from observations and student responses were analyzed by calculating percentages. In the pre-cycle students who completed KKM were 5 students (33.33%). After the action of the first cycle increased to 11 students (73.12%), while in the second cycle increased to 13 students (86.66%). From cycle I to cycle II it increased 13.33%. The KKM completeness increased because students' social studies learning achievements improved from pre-cycle to cycle I and cycle I to cycle II. The average student learning achievement and the number of students who reach KKM have met the indicators of success, thus this study was stopped in cycle II.Keywords: Social Studies Learning Achievement, Student Times Achievment Division (STAD) Method.

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this study was to produce a traditional game-based aquatic learning model to improve swimming skills in elementary school students. The long-term goal of this research is to embed the character of the love of the homeland in Indonesian youth so that a generation of people with character appears and is able to preserve Indonesian culture. Specific targets that will be achieved are introducing aquatic activities and increasing basic movement skills in elementary school children, while also instilling a sense of love for the homeland in the form of Indonesian culture. This research uses research & development methods (research & development) with a play approach. This method is believed to be effective in implementing aquatic learning because through traditional games developed, students do not realize that they have carried out the process of learning swimming skills by feeling happy, truly and pleasantly. The value of the character of love for the homeland that is expected by researchers can also be integrated in the aquatic learning process. This research consists of six steps, namely: (1) analyzing the product being developed; (2) developing initial products; (3) validation; (4) field trials; (5) product revisions; (6) final products. The results of the research are traditional game based aquatic learning model products. The product effectiveness test results showed that there was an increase in swimming skills based on the results of the pretest and posttest.Keywords: Aquatic learning, traditional games, swimming skills

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan motorik siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan datanya menggunakan tes. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang yang berjumlah 15 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang dituangkan dalam bentuk persentase kemampuan motorik siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang secara keseluruhan sebanyak 1 siswa (6,67%) mempunyai kemampuan motorik kurang sekali, 2 siswa (13,33%) mempunyai kemampuan motorik kurang, 9 siswa (60,00%) mempunyai kemampuan motorik sedang, 1 siswa (6,67%) mempunyai kemampuan motorik baik, dan 2 siswa (13,33%) mempunyai kemampuan motorik baik sekali. Frekuensi terbanyak pada kategori sedang, yaitu sebesar 60,00%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan motorik siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang adalah sedang.Kata Kunci: perkembangan motorik dan sekolah dasar.AbstractThis research aims for measuring the motor abilities of fifth grades students of SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Bandongan, Magelang. This research is a descriptive research using survey method which the techniques used data retrieval tests. The subject of this research is all students of SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Bandongan, Magelang amounted to 15 respondents. Analysts engineering data using deskriptive analysis in the form of a percentage of motor abilities of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Bandongan, Magelang. The result showed that motor abilities of fifth grades students of SD Negeri Rejosari, Bandongan, Magelang, overall, as many as 1 student (6,67%) have very less motor ability, 2 students (13, 33%) have less motor ability, 9 students (60,00%) have medium motor abilty, 1 student (6,67%) have good motor ability, and 2 students (13,33%) have very good motor abilty. The most frequent is medium category, that is equal to 60% , it concluded that motor abilties of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Rejosari, Bandongan, Magelang is medium.Keywords: motor development and elementary school.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kesalahan dalam Buku Siswa Kelas 1 Tema Benda, Hewan, dan Tanaman di Sekitarku. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dalam bentuk deskriptif. Sedangkan metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu content analysis atau kajian isi dokumen. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah dokumen berupa Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa kelas I SD Kurikulum 2013 dengan tema Benda, Hewan, dan Tanaman di Sekitarku terbitan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar analisis buku siswa dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data meliputi 1) pencermatan buku siswa dan buku guru, 2) pengkajian kesesuaian antara buku siswa dan kriteria standar isi dan standar proses K13, 3) pengelompokan temuan-temuan dari dari hasil analisis, 4) verifikasi temuan dengan ahli, praktisi, atau guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada enam jenis kesalahan yang ditemukan dalam Buku Siswa yaitu pada aspek 1) kekurangsesuaian dengan KD, 2) penggunaan Bahasa, 3) diksi, 4) konten atau isi, 5) pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan, dan 6) instruksi atau petunjuk pengerjaan tugas. Dari keenam kesalahan yang ditemukan, prosentase paling banyak yaitu pada kesalahan konten sebesar 43, 75%.Kata Kunci: buku siswa, tema benda, hewan, dan tanaman di sekitarku, kurikulum 2013AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the types of errors in Grade 1 Books with the theme of Objects, Animals, and Plants around Me.This is a descriptive qualitative study, the method of which used document analysis. The data source of this study were Curriculum 2013 Grade I teacher books and students books, with the theme of Objects, Animals and Plants around published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Data collection instruments used in this research were the analysis sheet and interviews, while the data analysis technique include 1) analysis of students books and teacher books, 2) suitability of the students books with the criteria of Curriculum 2013 in terms of content and process standards, 3) findings classification of the analysis results, 4) verification of the findings by experts, practitioners, and teachers. The results shows there are six aspect of errors found Grade 1 textbooks, they are 1) inconsistencies with Basic Competencies, 2) spelling, 3) diction, 4) contents, 5) learning approach used, and 6) tasks instruction. Of the six of errors found, the content has the most percentage of errors that is 43, 75%.Keywords: students’ books, the theme of Objects, Animals, and Plants around Me, Curriculum 2013

Abstract

AbstrakNilai Keterampilan menulis narasi berdasarkan pengalaman siswa kelas III SDN Guwo 01 masih ada yang dibawah standar ketuntasan belajar minimal dari 12 siswa ada 10 anak yang memperoleh nilai dibawah 60.Reka cerita gambar berseri akan membantu siswa lebih mudah untuk menemukan dan memancing ide dari pada hanya berbentuk judul atau kerangka karangan saja.Dengan mengamati gambar yang cukup jelas, maka anak akan mudah pula dalam menafsirkan dan mengidentifikasi gambar yang tersedia. Rancangan penelitian ini mempunyai variable yang terdiri atas rangkaian empat kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam siklus berulang. Empat kegiatan utama yang ada pada setiap siklus yaitu (a). perencanaan, (b). tindakan, (c). pengamatan, (d). Refleksi. Tes dan observasi yang dilakukan pada saat dilakukan penelitian di kelas III SD Negeri Guwo 01 Kecamatan Tlagawungu Kabupaten Pati menjadi sumber data penelitian. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah di SD Negeri 01 Guwo yang terletak di Jalan Raya Pati Gunung Rawa KM 12, desa Guwo kecamatan Tlogowungu Kabupaten Pati Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Teknik dan alat pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik tes dan observasi. Validasi data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan gambar seri dan hasil karangan siswa kelas III SD Negeri Guwo 01 Kecamatan Tlogowugu Kabupaten Paten Pati tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Dari 12 siswa hanya 2 siswa yang mampu menulis dalam kategori cukup. Selebihnya 10 siswa nilainya kurang atau hanya 40%.Hasil evaluasi belajar siswa pada siklus I masih banyak yang rendah yaitu siswa yang nilainya di bawah KKM dan tingkat ketuntasan kelas baru mencapai 69% sedangkan target pencapaian adalah 75%. Pada siklus II hasil evaluasi belajar siswa mengalami kenaikan, siswa yang tuntas mencapai 12 anak dengan nilai rata – rata 79,8% dan telah mencapai 75% kelas yang ditargetkan.Dengan demikian teknik reka cerita gambar berseri telah terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi pada siswa kelas III SDN Guwo 01 Kecamatan Tlogowungu Kabupaten Pati Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Menulis, Narasi, dan Cerita Gambar Berseri.AbstractThe value of Narrative writing skills based on the experience of grade 3 students of SDN Guwo 01 is still below the minimum learning mastery standard of 12 students there are 10 children who score below 60. The series of series images will help students find it easier to find and provoke ideas than just shaped Title or skeleton of course. By observing the image is quite clear, then the child will also be easy in interpreting and identifying the images available. The design of this study has a variable consisting of a series of four activities performed in a recurring cycle. The four main activities that exist in each cycle are (a). Planning, (b). Action, (c). Observation, (d). Reflection. Tests and observations conducted at the time of research conducted in class III State Elementary School Guwo 01 District Tlagawungu Pati became the source of research data. The data source of this research is in SD Negeri 01 Guwo located on Jalan Raya Pati Gunung Rawa KM 12, Guwo Village Tlogowungu Subdistrict Pati Regency of Central Java Province. Techniques and data collection tools using test and observation techniques. Validation of data in this research is to use series drawing and the result of third grade students of Guwo 01 State Elementary District Tlogowugu Patent Pati Regency in 2015 / 2016. Of the 12 students only 2 students are able to write in enough category. The rest of the 10 students is less or only 40%. The result of student's learning evaluation on cycle I is still low, the students whose value is below KKM and the new grade completeness reach 69% while the target achievement is 75%. In the second cycle of student learning evaluation results have increased, students who complete reached 12 children with an average score of 79.8% and has reached 75% of the targeted class. Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Make a Match melalui pendekatan saintifik. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas merupakan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes, data dianalisis menggunakan teknik diskriptif. Hasil penilaian afektifpadasiklus I dan siklus II menunjukkan kenaikan rata-rata indikator teliti 11.46%, partisipasi 1.04% dan kerjasama 9.37%. Ketuntasan penilaian kognitif dari siklus I dari 24 siswa adalah 17 siswa (71%) sedangkan siklus II adalah 21 siswa (88%), kenaikan ketuntasan siklus I ke siklus II adalah 17%. Penilaian psikomotorikpada siklus I dan siklus II menunjukkan kenaikan rata-rata indikator kejelasan 4.17%, volume suara 6.25%, posisi tubuh 1.05%, jeda 8.33%, dan mendengarkan bacaan teman sekelas 6.25%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran Make a Match dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dengan target 80%, dengan nilai KKM 67 telah terbukti.Kata kunci : Make a Match, Pendekatan Saintifik, Kemampuan MembacaAbstractThis research aiming to improve the reading skill of students by usingMake a Match learning model through scientific approach. Classroom Action Research is the type of research that is used,consists of 2 cycles with the stage of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection is done by using test and non test techniques, data were analyzed using descriptive technique. The results of affective assessment in cycle I and cycle II showed an average increase in indicator accurately 11.46%, 1.04% participation and cooperation 9.37%. The completeness of cognitive assessment of 24 students in cycle I was 17 students (71%) while cycle II was 21 students (88%), the increase completeness of cycle I to cycle II was 17%. Psychomotor assessment in cycle I and cycle II showed an increase of 4.17% clarity indicator average, 6.25% sound volume, body position 1.05%, pause 8.33%, and listening to class 6.25% reading. The results show that ‘Make a Match’ learning model can improve reading ability of students with 80% target, with the school standard 67 has been proven.Keywords: Make a Match, Scientific Approach, Reading Ability

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) indikator karakter nasionalisme yang ada dalam materi pembelajaran, (2) sebaran indikator karakter nasionalisme dalam materi pembelajaran, dan (3) teknik pengintegrasian indikator karakter nasionalisme dengan materi pembelajaran pada buku teks Kurikulum 2013 (buku pegangan guru dan buku pegangan siswa). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analisis konten dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang terdiri atas empat langkah, yaitu pengadaan data, reduksi data, inferensi, dan analisis data. Sumber data penelitian adalah buku teks Kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi 2016 kelas I semester 1 yang terdiri dari empat tema, yaitu tema “Diriku”, “Kegemaranku”, “Kegiatanku”, dan “Keluargaku”. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) semua indikator karakter nasionalisme termuat dalam materi pembelajaran buku teks; (2) sebaran indikator karakter nasionalisme dalam materi pembelajaran sudah merata, kecuali indikator cinta tanah air dan bangsa serta indikator menerima kemajemukan (belum termuat di tema 3); dan (3) teknik pengintegrasian indikator karakter nasionalisme dengan materi pembelajaran dilakukan melalui (a) pengungkapan secara eksplisit dalam materi pembelajaran, (b) lagu, (c) gambar, (d) cerita, dan (e) aktifitas siswa berbasis penugasan. Sedangkan metode pengintegrasiannya menggunakan knowing the good, reasoning the good, feeling the good, dan acting the good.Kata Kunci: karakter nasionalisme, buku teks kurikulum 2013AbstractThis study aims to determine: (1) the indicators of nationalism character that already exist in the learning materials, (2) the distribution of nationalism character indicators in the learning materials, and (3) the integration techniques of nationalism character indicators with learning materials in textbook of Curriculum 2013 (teacher’s handbook and student’s handbook). The type of this research is a content analysis with qualitative approach which consist four steps, that is: data collection, data reduction, inferention, and data analysis. The research source is textbook of Curriculum 2013 revised edition 2016 class I semester 1 consisting of four themes, that is "Myself", "My Hobby", "My Activities", and "My Family". The results showed that (1) all indicators of nationalism character contained in textbook learning materials; (2) the distribution of nationalism character indicator in the learning material be spread evenly, except the indicator of love to the country and the nation and the indicator of acceptance of plurality (not yet contained in theme 3); and (3) the techniques of integration nationalism character indicator with learning material is done through (a) explicit disclosure in the subject matter, (b) song, (c) pictures, (d) stories, and (e) student activities based to assignment. And last, the integration methodes used knowing the good, reasoning the good, feeling the good, and acting the good.Keywords: nationalism character, textbook of curriculum 2013

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar PKn materi Peraturan Perundang-undangan bagi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sukoharjo 01 Semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 melalui penggunaan Kartu Domper. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Sukoharjo 01 pada tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 15 siswa terdiri dari 6 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswa perempuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: Pertama, penggunaan Kartu Domper dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar PKN materi Peraturan Perundang-undangan bagi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sukoharjo 01 pada semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Terbukti persentase jumlah siswa dalam kategori aktivitas belajar baik meningkat dari kondisi awal 53% menjadi 75% pada siklus I dan menjadi 87% pada siklus II atau pada kondisi akhir mengalami peningkatan sebesar 34% dari kondisi awal. Kedua, penggunaan Kartu Domper dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKN materi Peraturan Perundang-undangan bagi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sukoharjo 01 pada semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Terbukti persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari kondisi awal 40% menjadi 53% pada siklus I dan menjadi 100% pada siklus II atau pada kondisi akhir mengalami peningkatan sebesar 60% dari kondisi awal.Kata kunci: Kartu Domper, hasil belajar, aktivitas belajar, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Peraturan Perundang-undangan.AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes PKN Legislation regulation for students of class V SD Negeri Sukoharjo 01 Semester I Year Lesson 2015/2016 through the use of Domper Card. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Sukoharjo 01 in the academic year 2015/2016 with the subject of research is the V student of 15 students consisting of 6 male students and 9 female students. The method used is a classroom action research method consisting of two cycles. The results showed that: First, the use of Domper Card can improve the learning activity of PKN material of Legislation Regulation for the students of Grade V of SD Negeri Sukoharjo 01 in the first semester of academic year 2015/2016. It is proven that the percentage of students in the category of learning activities improved from the initial condition of 53% to 75% in cycle I and to 87% in cycle II or in the final condition increased by 34% from the initial condition. Secondly, the use of Domper Card can improve the learning outcomes of PKN material of Legislation for the students of grade V of SD Negeri Sukoharjo 01 in the first semester of the academic year 2015/2016. Evidently the percentage of students' learning mastery increased from the initial condition of 40% to 53% in cycle I and to 100% in cycle II or in the final condition increased by 60% from the initial conditions.Keywords: Domper Card, Learning Outcomes, Learning Activities, Citizenship Education, Legislation.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai nasionalisme pada buku teks KTSP mata pelajaran PKn kelas 3 SD dan untuk menganalisis komponen-komponen muatan nilainasionalisme dalam buku teks KTSP mata pelajaran PKn kelas 3 SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis konten dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui empat tahap, yaitu pengadaan data, reduksi data, inferensi dan analisis data. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku teks KTSP mata pelajaran PKn kelas 3 SD yang terdiri dari empat Bab yaitu Bab 1 “Makna Sumpah Pemuda”, Bab 2 “Aturan Masyarakat”, Bab 3 “Pentingnya Harga diri”, Bab 4 “Bangga Sebagai Bangsa Indonesia”. Unit analisis adalah nilai-nilai nasionalisme yang terkandung dalam buku teks. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) buku teks KTSP mata pelajaran PKn kelas 3 SD tidak semua materi mengandung muatan nilai-nilai nasionalisme, ada 1 materi yang tidak mengandung nilai-nilai nasionalisme. (2) pada buku teks KTSP mata pelajaran PKn kelas 3 SD semester 1 nilai-nilai nasionalisme yang lebih dominan terletak pada indikator persatuan dan kesatuan dan yang paling sedikit terletak pada indikator bangga sebagai bangsa Indonesia. Untuk semester 2 nilai-nilai nasionalisme yang lebih dominan terletak pada indikator persatuan dan kesatuan sedangkan untuk indikator nilai peduli sosial tidak terdapat pada materi di semester 2.Kata kunci: nilai-nilai nasionalisme, buku teks KTSP, PKn.AbstractThis research aims to describe the values of nationalism and to analyze the components of nasionalism content in the civics education textbook with Educational Unit Level Curriculum of third grade elementary school. This research is a research of content analysis with qualitative approach through four stages, such as data procurement, data reduction, inference and data analysis. The source of this research data is civics education textbook with Educational Unit Level Curriculum of third grade elementary school consisted of four chapters, include Chapter 1 "The Meaning of Youth Pledge", Chapter 2 "Rules of Society", Chapter 3 "The Importance of Self-Esteem", Chapter 4 "Proud As The Nation of Indonesia ". The unit of analysis of this research is the values of nationalism contained in the textbooks. The results of this research are: (1) Not all the civics education textbook with Educational Unit Level Curriculum of third grade elementary school contains the content of values of nationalism. There is one material that does not contain the values of nationalism. (2) In the civics education textbook with Educational Unit Level Curriculum of first semester of third grade elementary school, values of nationalism more dominant in indicator of unity and least dominant on proud indicator as Indonesian nation.
