Abstract

An abstract must accompany each manuscript; This abstract must be completely consistent on its own (eg, without numbers, tables, equations or reference citation), not exceeding 250 words and written as a paragraph. The abstract should include research background, objectives, methodology, and findings. The national identity and character of the Indonesian nation is none other than Pancasila which reflects certain concepts, principles and values contained in it. The character of the Indonesian nation also means the spiritual self of the Indonesian nation which is reflected in the mindset, attitude and pattern of action that characterizes the citizens of the Indonesian nation. In Pancasila, public moral values are reflected in the concept of Jonathan David Haidt, an American social psychologist, containing the principles of Care (Second Precept), Fairness (Fifth Precept), Liberty (Fifth Precept), Loyalty (Third Precept), Authority (Fifth Precept), Fourth Precept), Sanctity (First Precept). The implementation of public moral values originating from Pancasila can be seen in the lives of our people when facing the Covid-19 pandemic. This is what prompted the author to examine this problem with the formulation of the problem, can the implementation of public moral values derived from Pancasila give strength to the Indonesian nation to rise from the Covid-19 pandemic? By using a literacy study approach, this study concludes that the implementation of public moral values originating from Pancasila can provide strength for the Indonesian people to face and rise from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of video tutorials on the effectiveness of online learning during the pandemic. This research method uses qualitative research that is library research taken from several journals with data collection techniques using literature studies, namely reviewing various written sources in previous research articles. The results of this study conclude that the use of video tutorials contributes and influences in making online learning effective during the pandemic which can be applied in one of the subjects in elementary school, for example, mathematics. The low level of online learning is due to the low performance of teachers in the boring learning process and not using creative media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze online learning at home for elementary school students the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research uses a literature study method, where in collecting data information with documentation techniques, namely looking for data on relevant matters from various sources in the library such as documents, books, magazines, news and journals. The criteria for the sources chosen were discussions about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and online learning in elementary schools. From the sources obtained, the most relevant are then selected. The results in the study show that there are many impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on online learning in elementary schools. This can be seen from the results of the data obtained showing that due to the COVID-19 pandemic it has an impact on students, parents, and teachers but can be carried out quite well if there is cooperation between teachers, students, and parents while studying at home

Abstract

Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform used to review students’ knowledge, for formative assessment or as a break from traditional classroom activities. Play is a social-centred process, able to boost motivation and promote learning across all levels and ages. With the growing push for creativity in the classroom as well as the application of effective technology in teaching and learning. The key of teaching and learning process affects the students’ motivation as well as the learning goals. This study was carried out to describe an analysis of students’ motivation in learning process by using Kahoot! and to describe Kahoot! is effective to motivate students in learning writing process. This research used qualitative method with the observation and questionnaires as the instruments. It involved about three classes of the second grade students of SMPN 1 Sumber. The Sample was VIII A, VIII B, VIII H consist of 100 students. The data was analyzed descriptively. The findings showed that the result of ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction) model of motivation defined the students motivated in learning process by using Kahoot! In addition, the result of the questionnaire Kahoot! was effetive to motivate student in learning writing process.

Abstract

This research focused on language variations that used by the people of Dawuan Village, Sub-District of Cirebon Regency. This research aimed to described kinds of phonemes variations of Cirebon dialect by the people of Dawuan Village. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The writer used data collections method through direct observation and interview by the people of Dawuan Village as much as 18 people from 12 to 65 years old both women and men. The result showed that there are 111 phonological variations in the form of variations vowels phonemes (56), variations vowels – consonant phonemes (2), and variations of consonant phonemes (53) at Dawuan Village. This result obtained by using 207 words Swadesh List and 169 additional words submitted as questions to the local people.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of taxes, levies and population on local revenue in South Sulawesi Province in 2018-2020.This study uses quantitative methods.The population in this study were all regencies/cities in the research year totaling 24 regencies/cities.The sampling technique used a saturated sample,the sampling technique was used when all members of the population were sampled,so that a total sample of 24 samples was obtained.This type of research data is secondary data obtained through reports or publications from related agencies that are closely related to this research.The results of the study show that taxes,levies and the number of residents simultaneously have an effect on Regional Original Income.And the Tax Variable partially affects Regional Original Income while the Levies and Population Variables partially have no effect on Regional Original Income in South Sulawesi Province 2018-2020.

Abstract

Governance is becoming increasingly important in universities as it is in the wider world of commerce and banking.Historically,universities were run by their academic communities,but as mass higher education has taken root,because university research has become an important element in the national economy and because the demand for better accountability in financial and academic performance has grown.The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Good University Governance and Management Performance.This study was conducted through a literature review.The literature search was conducted using several electronic databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, ProQuest,ScienceDirect,ACM Digital Library,by entering the keyword “Good University Governance” and “Management Performance”.

Abstract

This research is entitled: "Improving Teacher Performance Through Individual Supervision of Teachers at SDN Gandasari 3 Tangerang City".The purpose of this study was to improve teacher performance through individual supervision of teachers at SDN Gandasari 3 Tangerang City.The method used in this research is Action Research which consists of 2 (two) cycles, and each cycle consists of: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection.Based on the results of action research that individual supervision can improve teacher performance at SDN Gandasari 3 Tangerang City.Furthermore, the researcher recommends: (1) For principals who experience the same difficulties, they can use individual supervision as a solution.(2) In order for the implementation of Individual Supervision to get maximum results, it is expected that the Principal will carry out Individual Supervision intensively and continuously.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how much influence of Return on Assets (ROA) and Dividend Policy to Firm Value partially on Manufacturing Companies. The method of data collection is through the population data of manufacturing companies for the period 2017 to 2021. The data is taken through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id). The total population was found to be 167 listed companies. The samples of companies used in this study are twenty seven companies that have passed the criteria that have been determined in purposive sampling. In this study, the data used is secondary data. To obtain secondary data, it is taken from financial reports, annual reports and sustainability reports of each manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data processing using IBM SPSS 25 application.

Abstract

In Karnataka, Migration has played an important role in accelerating urban growth by attracting rural migrants to urban areas for economic reasons despite a lack of physical infrastructure in terms of housing, drinking water supply, drainage, sanitation, and other amenities. As a result, the migrant rural poor are forced to seek for unofficial alternatives, leading in the growth of slums and squatter communities. Slums are now a regular sight in practically all of India's major cities. As a result of the constant influx of rural migrants, the quality of life diminishes, and the gap between demand and availability of basic services and other infrastructure in the areas deepens. This present research article is to study and examine slum areas and their living conditions, and finding out the most critical and problematic zone of the slums. In relation to this article, the objectives is to assess the socio-economic conditions of women dwellers of slum in Kumbalagodu industrial area and to suggest appropriate measures to advance the standard of living conditions of women in slum of the Kumbalagodu industrial area of Bangalore region and it also suggests suitable measures for upliftment of women of slum of case study area.
