Abstract

The Australasian Triage Scale (ATS) method is one of several triage systems used in Indonesia for the assessment of clinical emergencies. Emergency Department (IGD) as the leading service provider also takes part in the realization of hospital customer satisfaction. Siboro (2014) says that customer satisfaction is determined by the whole series of services, including patient registration/admission, doctors, nurses, food, medicines, facilities and equipment, hospital physical facilities and administrative services (Siboro, 2014). Based on information compiled by Warta Priangan on March 15, 2019, a Banjar resident complained about the service at the Emergency Room at Banjar City Hospital. One of the patient's families admitted that they were disappointed with the government hospital services due to the lack of response from nurses and doctors in dealing with their sick child. These complaints indicate that patients are not satisfied with nursing services and can affect the quality of hospital services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of ATS triage and the level of patient satisfaction in the ER at the Banjar City Hospital. The type of research used is a descriptive correlation design with a cross-sectional design which aims to determine the relationship between the variables studied. The total population is 19,661 people. The sampling technique of Non-Probability Sampling is accidental sampling with a sample size of 99 people. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire. The results of hypothesis testing using the chi-square obtained p-value of 0.000, smaller than 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so the decision is that there is a relationship between the use of ATS and the level of satisfaction of the patient's family in the Emergency Room of the Banjar City Hospital

Abstract

Success in extending life expectancy should be viewed wisely as a manifestation of the success of human resource development in the present. However, it cannot be denied that with the increasing number of elderly people, this has the potential to cause various problems. One of them is related to the reduced level of population productivity. The elderly group often becomes unproductive because of the decline in their physical and mental conditions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and successful aging in the elderly in Panulisan Dayeuhluhur Village. The research design used is correlational or relationship research with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 52 of the 1073 elderly population in Panulisan Barat Village with a randomized proportional sampling technique. From the results of the Colmogorov-Smirnov test, it is known that there is a significant relationship between family support and successful aging in the elderly, with a p value of 0.000 which is smaller than an alpha of 0.05. Suggestions for nursing practitioners from the results of this study can be used as input to bring active efforts to health workers, especially gerontic nurses in the community in giving a social impression to the elderly, so that it is expected to produce better living conditions for the elderly. Further research is expected to dig deeper into the dimensions of family support in an effort to improve Successful Aging in the elderly with a deeper analysis of each dimension

Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. Result: The results of the study were: (1) The average behavior of taking medication before playing therapy was done was 16.77; (2) The average cooperative level after playing snake and ladder therapy is 22.67 and (3) the results of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank test obtained a value of Z = -3.827 with p-value = 0.000 <0.5 meaning that there is an effect of play therapy on behavior of taking medicine while carrying out treatment for toddlers in the Asoka Room at Polewali Mandar Hospital. It Conclusion: There is an effect of playing on the acceptance of toddler age children in the act of giving oral drugs. Hospitals, as health service institutions that provide services to all levels of society, especially pediatric health services, should design and facilitate rooms that are familiar to children and prepare play facilities according to the growth and development and health conditions of children. Nurses who focus on pediatric care should pay attention to aspects of child growth and development, where toddler-aged children should apply aspects of play to achieve therapeutic goals.
