Abstract

Siswa mengalami kesulitan dengan alat bantu pembelajaran matematika.Banyak siswa memiliki kesan bahwa matematika adalah mata pelajaran yang sulit untuk dipelajari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif ragam TPS dengan tujuan meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada jenjang kelas lima sampai dengan kelas enam. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 21 siswa kelas lima. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasi kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan nilai tes siswa.Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika secara keseluruhan mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan naiknya nilai ujian antara semester pertama dan kedua (masing-masing 1410 dan 1600; 67 dan 76 persen; 67 dan 76 persen; 76% dan 95% ketuntasan belajar). Hasil belajar meningkat antara siklus pertama dan kedua. Berdasarkan angka tersebut, rata-rata hari kerja menjadi lebih lama sekitar 9 persen, dan rata-rata lama waktu yang dihabiskan untuk belajar meningkat sekitar 24 persen. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif seperti TPS dengan siswa kelas V dapat meningkatkan nilai matematika mereka. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih baik dengan memfasilitasi pengembangan model pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kepribadian unik setiap individu.

Abstract

Agama dan sains merupakan kekuatan yang mampu mentransformasi kehidupan manusia. Harmonisasi diantara keduanya berusaha mengarahkan dan memberikan kesejahteraan bagi umat manusia. Namun, karena ketidaktahuan atau kemalasan seingkali manusia menganggap ada dikotomi antara keduanya, padahal keduanya terkait kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap relasi sains dan agama: materi besaran dan satuan dalam meningkatkan keimanan peserta didik. Melalui penelitian kualitatif korelasi, menyimpulkan: Dalam fisika, besaran diartikan sebagai sesuatu yang dapat diukur dan dinyatakan dengan angka. Sebuah besaran dinyatakan dengan angka diikuti dengan satuan. Angka tanpa diikuti satuan akan menjadi sesuatu yang tidak bermakna. Idealnya sebuah alat ukur memiliki akurasi, presisi dan sensitivitas yang baik sehingga tingkat kesalahannya relatif kecil dan data yang dihasilkan akan akurat. Ukuran adalah sesuatu yang sangat mendasar dalam bidang apapun. Ukuran erat kaitannya dengan takaran, dan dosis yang sesuai dengan maksud firman Allah Swt dalam surat Al Qamar (54): 49, yang esensinya Apa yang terjadi pada semua makhluk sudah ditetapkan oleh Allah. Segala sesuatu menurut ukuran, yaitu suatu sistem dan ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan, tetapi manusia wajib berusaha, ketentuan-Nya diserahkan kepada usaha manusia. Dengan memahami konsepsi ini peserta didik akan bertambah nilai keimanannya.

Abstract

Electrical energy is one of the most important things in human life. Electrical energy is needed in the industrial sector. In meeting the needs of electrical energy, good planning is needed by predicting the needs of electrical energy. Holt's Double Exponential Smoothing method is a method that can be used to predict electrical energy needs. The results of forecasting the demand for electrical energy at PT PLN (Persero) for the North Sumatra Region for 2022 to 2030 use the Double Double Exponential Smoothing method from Holt (with a value of α = 0.99 and γ = 0.1 which has a MAPE value of 2.0372%. ) namely 13933.19 gwh, 14478.46 gwh, 15023.73 gwh, 15569.00 gwh, 16114.26 gwh, 16659.53 gwh, 17204.80 gwh, 17750.06 gwh, 18295.33 gwh.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills through the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) model on the material of a Linear Two Variable System in grade VIII-6 students of SMP N 4 Medan as a subject or this research. The type of this research is classroom action research. The instrument used the collect the data are essay test and observation sheet. Before giving the action in initial test to 32 students obtained the average score is 50.46 with the classical completeness is 34.37% or only 11 students achieve the completeness criteria. The completeness criteria is the standard point that must be reached by students namely at least 65 and classical completeness is the standard percentage that must be reached by the class namely at least 85%. After given the action in the first cycle namely the implementation of MMP learning model to 32 students, obtained the average score is 63.9844 with the classical completeness 50% or 16 students achieve the completeness criteria. Then given the second cycle namely increasing MMP learning model, obtained the average score is 82.11 with the classical completeness 93.75%. Based on the observation done by teacher obtained that the point of second cycle is higher than the point of first cycle. Based on the average gain score, obtained that the average gain score in Cycle I test-Cycle II test is higher than Initial Test-Cycle I Test. From the result of research, can be concluded that the mathematical problem-solving ability of students can be increased or improved especially on the topic of Linear System with Two Variable by using Missouri Mathematics Project Learning Model

Abstract

Some areas in Indonesia are earthquake-prone areas, one of which is the Banda arc. The Banda arc has a complete tectonic system and is also an area with a high level of seismicity. One of the earthquake disaster mitigation efforts is by analyzing the a-values and b-values which are seismotectonic parameters. The a-values and b-values can be analyzed through the Gutenberg-Ritchter equation through the frequency-magnitude distribution. The gradient of the frequency-magnitude distribution is the b-value which is a stress distribution constant which indicates the level of fragility of the rocks in the area, while the a-value indicates seismic activity which is the seismicity constant. In determining the a-value and b-value depends on the Magnitude completeness (Mc). This study uses earthquake data from the USGS catalog from 2015–2020 and then uniformizes the magnitude to magnitude moment (Mw), declusters the earthquake catalog to eliminate the effects of foreshocks and aftershock to obtain the main earthquake data through ZMAP 6.0 software. After that, do a magnitude-frequency distribution plot to determine the completeness of the data in order to obtain the completeness of magnitude (Mc) which can be used to determine the a-value and b-value using ZMAP 6.0 software. The result of this research is the value of Magnitude Completeness (Mc) is 4.5, while the a-value is 9,07 and the b-value is 1,33. For the spatial variation of a-values and b-values, there are areas with a low a-value of 7 and a low b-value of 1,2 which have a chance of a large earthquake in the future due to the accumulation of energy that causes a high level of stress in the area.

Abstract

One of the most important problems to be addressed is the low achievement of students in mathematics. This needs to be addressed immediately considering that mathematics is the science most often used in the world of work. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of additional hours of mathematics lessons on improving mathematics learning achievement of class XII MIPA students. This research is categorized as evaluation research using the CIPP model (context, input, process, and product). The population studied was all students of class XII MIPA MAN 3 Bantul in the 2016/2017 academic year, totaling 64 people. The condition before the learning process was carried out with the addition of study hours obtained an average value of 34.10 while after the addition of hours the acquisition increased to 44.16 or an increase of 29.50%. The results of the t-test analysis showed that there were significant differences in the results of learning mathematics before additional hours were added.

Abstract

The quality of life in North Sumatra currently still needs improvement, where poverty rates and human development are still lagging. These problems can be reflected in the community welfare indicator, namely the Human Development Index (IPM). One of these problems can be solved by knowing the factors that determine the Human Development Index in North Sumatra. The Human Development Index is suspected to contain elements of spatial dependency, therefore in this study the spatial regression method will be used with a spatially dependent effect model. The results of the analysis and discussion obtained are that the SAR model is the appropriate model in the case of the Human Development Index in North Sumatra. Predictor variables that significantly influence the Human Development Index in North Sumatra are Pure Enrollment Rate (APM) at Senior High School level , Poverty Rate , Open Unemployment Rate , and PDRB on the basis of price .

Abstract

PT Tibeka Jaya Abadi merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi kopi menjadi kopi sengah jadi yang dimana belum dijadikan bubuk kopi. PT Tibeka Jaya Abadi memiliki lebih dari satu target yang ingin dicapai yaitu Perusahaan menetapkan memaksimalkan pendapatan sebagai prioritas utama, disusul dengan menekan biaya bahan baku sebagai prioritas kedua, memaksimalkan waktu pengolahan sebagai prioritas ketiga, memaksimalkan hasil produksi prioritas keempat dan menentukan jumlah produksi yang optimal sebagai prioritas kelima, yang artinya tujuan perusahaan tidak lagi tunggal melainkan multi (lebih dari satu) dengan harapan setiap tujuan dapat dipenuhi dengan baik. Metode Goal Programming merupakan metode yang tepat untuk dipergunakan pada masalah perusahan. Berdasarkan analisa data yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan bantuan software LINDO dalam proses pengolahan data didapat hasil yang lebih menguntungkan dibandingkan dengan metode yang selama ini dilaksanakan perusahaan. Perusahan mampu menentukan produksi yang optimal sesuai dengan permintan pasar sebesar 99.530 kg. Begitu pula waktu pengolahan dapat dimaksimalkan selama 120 jam. Dan sebelum mengunakan metode Goal Programming pendapatan Perusahaan sebesar Rp. 7.512.831.000. Dan setelah menggunakan metode Goal Programming maka pendapatan perusahaan adalah sebesar Rp. 8.324.780.000. Sehingga tujuan perusahaan yaitu meningkatkan optimal produksi tercapai.

Abstract

Pematangsiantar City Army Hospital is one of the state-owned health facilities that provides booster vaccination services with 4 types of booster vaccines available, namely sinovac, astrazeneca, pfizer and moderna. The uncertain level of demand for booster vaccines causes the Pematangsiantar City Army Hospital to require booster vaccine inventory policy planning using the continuous review (s,S) method to prevent overstock which results in considerable cost expenditures. From the calculation of booster vaccine inventory control using the continuous review method (s,S), it is obtained that the total inventory cost has a significant percentage change. For the type of sinovac, the percentage change in total inventory costs reaches 92% of the total inventory costs in the existing conditions, for astrazeneca reaches 58% of the total inventory costs in the existing conditions, for pfizer reaches 60% of the total inventory costs in the existing conditions, and for moderna reaches 95% of the total inventory costs in the existing conditions. The results of the calculation of the total cost of inventory with continuous review (s,S) can provide a decrease in costs incurred by the Pematangsiantar City Army Hospital. This is because the continuous review (s,S) inventory policy minimises the cost of vaccine shortages which are quite costly.

Abstract

Zuhro Bakery is baking factory producing various kinds of bread. In this research, there were three kinds of bread that were studied, they were chocolate, mocha and strawberry flavored bread. The problem in optimalization of the production was modeled into a mathematic model which was the linear program in the form obstacle function and objective function. It was then continued by the deciding variable in integer number as the linear program. Then, it was solved by using Branch and Bound method which previously had counted the variable by using the symplex method. From the simplex method, an integer number result was not found, so the Branch and Bound method was used. QM software was chosen in the research to solve the integer problem. A profit was earned with a sale margin of Rp39.000 or 0,42% from the coorporation’s expected profit by using the Branch and Bound method. The amount of bread produced in the periode of three days were 5.400 consosted of 3.060 chocolate flavored bread, 1.440 mocha flavored bread and 900 strawberry flavored bread with the total profit of Rp9.279.000
