Abstract

Information Technology (IT) is among the relevant factor assisting the business to penetrate in a new market for being innovative and generating new product and services which help the growth of the business and company. The revolution of IT and internet facilitates the outstanding performance of the economy in business sector, through the exchanges of information by using internet and electronic devices facilitate accessibility of doing business between companies globally. This study tries to analyse the impact of IT on business and the performance of the economy. The empirical findings show that the role of IT in business is tremendous.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios on the value of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period 2013-2016, either partially or simultaneously. The financial ratios studied are: current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), return on assets (ROA), total assets turn over (TATO) and price earnings ratio (PER). The population in this study is a pharmaceutical company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2013 to 2016. Research samples of 10 pharmaceutical companies obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used is documentation. Data analysis was done by panel data analysis technique. The results showed that partially ROA, TATO and PER variables significantly influence the firm value, while CR and DER have no significant effect. Simultaneously variable CR, DER, ROA, TATO and PER have an effect on to company value. CR, DER, ROA, TATO and PER variables can explain the value of companies in pharmaceutical companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the year 2013-2016 for 82,65%. Abstract

The characteristics of imperfect markets are characterized by the presence of transaction costs. One sector that is an imperfect market is the agricultural sector. The purpose of this study was to analyze the structure of transaction costs and the implications of transaction costs on the benefits of hybrid corn farming. The research method uses transaction cost analysis and multiple linear regression. The research was conducted in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara with 120 respondents as corn farmers. The results show that implementation costs are the component of transaction costs that have the highest percentage of 43.35%, then supervision costs are 28.37%, transportation costs are 20.61%, negotiation costs are 3.70%, information costs are 3.41% and coordination 0.57%. These transaction cost components are distributed in each hybrid corn farming cycle, among others; (1) birth cycle; (2) cropping cycle; (3) maintenance cycle; (4) supervision; (5) harvest cycle; and (6) postharvest cycle. The postharvest cycle is the cycle that has the highest percentage of 23.17%, then the maintenance cycle is 18.53%, the harvest cycle is 17.65%, the cropping cycle is 17.28% and the control cycle is 13.99%. Transaction costs have a positive and significant effect on the profits of hybrid corn farming.

Abstract

Improved performance is one of the company's strategic goals. Many factors can influence a corporate's performance, among others, is the advising role of the board of commissioners. This study aims to examine the influence of the advising role on corporate performance, which is moderated by family governance. The population are manufacturing companies that are listed on the IDX from 2008-2014. The sample selection uses purposive sampling and generate 792 observations. The findings that are generated are advising roles that have a positive effect on corporate performance. However, family governance weakens the influence of advising roles on corporate performance. The dominance of the family makes the board of commissioners unable to provide professional advice, thereby reducing the corporate's performance.

Abstract

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the management of a supply chain activities to maximize customer value and achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. It acts as a strategic competitive tool for the company that made the issue of logistics as a strategy to compete to be able to win the market competition. Abstract

Digitalization of payment systems in the business world is a certainty at this time. This paper is an initial literature review that will discuss the use of server-based e-commerce, the discussion will present QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard), the readiness of MSMEs in using information technology, the application of QRIS on MSMEs, QRIS constraints on MSMEs. This paper is important because the need to use server-based e-commerce is already one of the most popular cashless payment systems. Server-based e-commerce format is e-wallet or digital wallet. This paper is important because it examines the role of regulators and standards in the use of QRIS (QR Code Indonesian Standard). The use of QRIS helps to standardize QR code systems. This research attempts to examine the application of QRIS to MSMEs in terms of the role, limitations, and income of MSMEs with QRIS. The research method used is by tracing literature that uses QRIS as a payment method for the character. This study shows that QRIS offers benefits for MSME traders.

Abstract

Online transportation is trend of modern transportation models in various countries in the world, including Indonesia. This transportation is very attractive to the public because it can reduce the consumption of the number private vehicles, lower cost and more efficient. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as moderating variable. Data collection instruments using questionnaire, with purposive sampling approach. The population was students of 6 colleges in Madiun City. The analysis technique uses validity and reliability test, multiple linear regression, classic assumption test, hypothesis test and moderation test.The results showed that service quality and customer satisfaction contributed to consumer loyalty. T test results concluded that the quality of service affects customer loyalty. Consumer satisfaction affects customer loyalty. Simultaneously the quality of service has significant effect on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as moderating variable.

Abstract

Koperasi are one sector of the economy which has several members large community that has a goal to prosper the cooperative members. Form this effort is most in accordance with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution article 33 ayat (1) which reads the economy is structured as a joint effort on the principle of family. To increase cooperative business development in the future, always need to evaluate of the performance of cooperatives from one period to the next period. Information obtained from performance assessments is used to conduct evaluations to the performance of the previous period as a basis for making improvements in the period next. So far the performance appraisal is still limited to financial performance, by hence it is necessary to conduct performance assessments related to non-financial matters. This study aims to determine the performance with the balance score card. Stages in this study is to obtain performance information from 4 (four) perspectives. The results of the study indicate that (1) financial perspective; Kosika has good development of SHU, Capital, and ROA, (2) membership perspective; the growth in the number of members is seen to decline, SHU is accepted by members, the number of loans which is channeled through members seems to increase, (3) business process perspective internal loan service process, internal control, financial information is repaired continuously and regularly held annual member meetings, (4) learning and growth perspective; incentives received by employees, administrators, and supervisors always increase, salaries received by employees who have above the Provincial UMR, as well as training followed by administrators every year for increase management of cooperatives. Trend analysis in four perspectives between ponuwa UNG cosika with two other koperasi in Gorontalo city shows that cosika still has a better value than the other two cooperatives. Abstract

The Performance of the accounting information system is the result of processing the information system used by the user as well as the appraiser and evaluation of the implementation of the accounting information system used, by a company especially banking, in achieving the company’s goals. The performance of the accounting information system can be measured internally with indicators satisfaction with the use of the system and the use of the system itself. This study uses internal factors in the accounting information system to analyze their effect on the resulting performance. The study was conducted in the rural banking sector in Abiansemal Bali and obtained a sample of 40 by purposive sampling. Abstract

This research aims to find forms of women's reciprocity social capital as a pillar of the family economy. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study whose data collection techniques use triangulation in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. For data analysis using Miles and Huberman models. The results found in the field regarding the forms of social capital of women's reciprocity as pillars of the family economy at UIK were found through interactions and social relations between women business owners and women workers in the field in terms of: (1). Knowledge collaboration (2) free knowledge transfer (3) Support from family members (4) Cooperation and mutual encouragement between individuals (5) Helping each other (6) Motivating (7) having empathy for others and (8) Participating. These forms of reciprocity of women's social capital become the economic reinforcement of the family. Because the success of the family cannot be separated from the role of women as important actors. Therefore, it is hoped that the positive resources of women through the use of social capital reciprocity depicted in small industrial enterprises can be an inspiration for small businesses and women in Indonesia to keep working.
