Abstract

One of the efforts to produce a motorcycle with high performance is by making modofications to the camshaft. Because they are not satisfied with the manufacturer’s standard camshaft and aim to increase power and torque using the dynotest test method on a Yamaha Jupiter 110 cc motorcycle, one way is to replace it with an aftermarket camshaft that has a higher lift. The standard is 4,5 mm and the aftermarket camshaft has a 5mm lift it makes more fuel intake and more power..Based on the test result, it is found that using aftermarket camshaft can increase the power and torque for maximum power result on a standard camshaft of 6,7 hp at 5660 rpm engine speed and 10,34 Nm of torque at 2819 rpm engine speed then aftermarket camshaft produce 7,6 hp at engine speed. 6087 rpm engine speed and 10,66 Nm of torque at 2765 rpm engine speed.Keywords : Camshaft, power, and Torque

Each motor vehicle must have a security system. Modern Motorcycle safety system is the usual solution by the owners of motorists to ensure the safety of its vehicles. On the other hand, along with the development of technology, Handphone is one of technology that has various facilities with Bluetooth and Android application. By creating an Android application to install on the phone and adding a little bit of microcontroller based. Abstract

n the automotive world, vehicles have several systems and mechanisms that influence each other to make a vehicle work optimally. One of the important mechanisms in a vehicle is the valve mechanism. Four stroke engines have intake, compression, effort and exhaust strokes. In this final report, the purpose of this report is to identify the valve mechanism, which aims to determine the maintenance and inspection of the valve mechanism of the Mitsubishi PS 100 diesel engine and to find out the symptoms of damage that often occur in the valve mechanism of the Mitsubishi PS 100 diesel engine, how it works, and how to check it. Based on the results of the Final Project Identification and Troubleshooting of the valve mechanism, that the inspection of the valve mechanism is in good condition and there are components that have been replaced, namely valve seals and valve clearance adjustments.Keywords : Valve mechanism, Diesel engine, Mitsubishi PS 100

Abstract

Now, to make it easier for drivers to park their vehicles, vehicle manufacturers have installed parking sensors, to keep pace with the development of the automotive world, students need to learn about parking sensors and also to support automotive electrical courses, it is necessary to make a trainer to make it easier for students to learn. is to make a trainer or learning media to make it easier for students to practice the parking sensor electrical system and understand how it works, the damage that often occurs and also know the maintenance that needs to be done to maintain the parking sensor. Abstract

Wiper and washer electricity is very important for car drivers, because with this electrical system it can reduce the number of accidents, especially during rainy weather. The wiper and washer electrical system is an electrical system that functions to clean the glass from rainwater and dirt that sticks to the windshield. Making the electrical design of the wiper and washer is the same as the electrical system in the car, because all the components in it are the same as those on the car, but this is made into a stand for the purpose of practical media facilities. In the final project, it was carried out to add learning media to support media-based practice with the aim of knowing how the wiper and washer electrical system works, knowing what damage usually occurs to the wiper and washer electrical system, knowing the maintenance carried out for the wiper and washer system. The manufacturing process is carried out in stages by making the frame, followed by the installation of components. After , making the results obtained on the combination switch in the off position above, low speed in the middle position, and high speed in the lower position. Abstract

The engine consists of moving metal parts such as a crankshaft, piston rod, and valve mechanism. To avoid the effects of friction from moving parts, it is necessary to provide a lubrication system. Lubrication of the engine is very important, because without lubrication the engine components will experience direct contact, causing heat and causing damage in the form of wear and tear which ultimately causes the life of the engine and its components to not last long. The objectives to be obtained in writing this report are to find out the analysis and how to overcome disturbances in the Mitsubishi diesel engine lubrication system. The problems that will be discussed include the components of the lubrication system, and the disturbance of the lubrication system. The inspection of the lubrication system that has been carried out results in the conclusion that the condition of the engine oil is not in good condition. This can be caused by several factors of use and maintenance history of the machine. Because the condition is not good, the engine oil is replaced with a new one.Key key: Lubrication system, lubricating oil
