Abstract

The protection of traditional culture plays a good role in providing support to the community in preserving traditions, including in the design work of the lurik product industry. The problems with lurik design in Indonesia include the absence of a business climate that fully provides legal protection. It does not rule out apathy towards perceptions of legal provisions, because what is happening now is that the community concerned has the view to meet their daily needs easily. The method used in this research is juridical empirical research method, research on the effectiveness of law is a study that discusses how the law operates in society. This research is descriptive in nature which provides a systematic and comprehensive description of the legal protection of the lurik product design industry in Klaten Regency and the level of legal awareness of the lurik designers in Klaten Regency. The results of the study show that the legal protection efforts for the design of the lurik product industry in Klaten are quite good, but regarding legal protection against lurik as a cultural heritage there is no law regulating it. The level of legal awareness of lurik designers in Klaten is still low, because designers are still reluctant to register industrial designs. The aspects of creation, legal protection, management and utilization of intellectual property in the field of industrial design can form an intellectual property ecosystem with the aim that intellectual property can speak in an economic and social context, and create a correlation between economic goals, development priorities, state resources based on welfare by utilizing intellectual property, especially in the field of striated product industrial design.

Abstract

Tempe gembus is made from tofu dregs which are fermented by tempe mushrooms rhizopus sp. Fermentation process of tempe gembus using conventional method takes 2 days 1 night/about 36-48 hours with temperatures between 25oC-35oC, humidity 60-80%. To maintain temperature and humidity stability by covering the cloth and opening the cloth. This research will discuss how to maintain temperature and humidity automatically using the ESP8266 microcontroller which controls the temperature and humidity sensors using DHT11. When the temperature is below 35 °C the system will perform an automatic action in the form of a light on. When the temperature is above 35 °C, the system will automatically turn on the fan until the temperature returns to normal. The output of this system is displayed on thingspeak and can be seen through thingsview which can be accessed via a smartphone by utilizing the wireless features found on the ESP8266. Tempe gembus fermentation is strongly influenced by the temperature and humidity of the fermentation room. The test results show that using an automatic control system is 16 hours faster than conventional methods.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the economic and technical layout carried out on industrial scale CuO production using the hydrothermal method. The evaluation method used is economic evaluation by calculating gross profit margin (GPM), payback period (PBP), break even point (BEP), internal rate return (IRR), cumulative net present value (CNPV), and profitability index (PI). CuO was synthesized using Cu(CH3COO)2.H2O dissolved in water and then 1M sodium hydroxide solution was added. The solution was put in an autoclave at 110?C for 2 hours. Distilled water and ethanol were used to wash the black precipitate obtained and dried at 90?C in air. The results of the calculation of GPM and CNPV from the manufacture of industrial scale CuO show that the payback period (PBP) has increased in the third year because the project has been running well. CuO applications on an industrial scale can be used as photocatalysts and lithium battery anodes. This research is expected to provide an industrial scale overview of the economic evaluation and layout of the production of CuO through the hydrothermal method used as a photocatalyst and anode of lithium-ion batteries.

Abstract

Work from home is a way to reduce the development of the coronavirus termed COVID-19. In the world of education, we have been familiar with e-learning systems where learning is done with any time, any ware, anybody, and anyplace. Nevertheless, the readiness for implementation is not relaxed because there are technical and non-technical obstacles. There are four roles in e-learning wherein the role of instructor and student's role is the core, but the readiness of infrastructure and integration between systems is a problem in itself. The consequence of Work from home is to provide resources independently at home, with cost and geographical challenges. The development of E-learning 3.0, with its U-learning concept, gives a different dimension, especially in the use of cloud service provider applications. In this paper, the E-learning Service Framework is proposed by considering the results of a review of the LearningCube modeling, Interactive Mode Architecture, and Critical Success Factors.
