Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not the use of Cuisenaire block media is effective in calculating students' mathematics sums. This study uses a quasi-experimental research method with the Noneequivalent Control Group Design. The population subjects in this study were students of class I SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gondrong Tangerang City by taking a sample of two classes of 42 students, namely class I A totaling 20 students as the control class. The data collection technique used the instrument of concept understanding test in the form of an essay consisting of 10 valid and reliable questions. To test the pretest hypothesis, calculate manually, in this study the t-test was used. The t-test results obtained a value of 3.97 > 2.093, which means that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of Mathematics using Cuisenaire blocks and those without Cuisenaire blocks. while for testing the experimental class hypothesis 1.141 < 2.080, it means that there is no difference in the understanding of mathematical arithmetic in addition to the results of the pretest and posttest data. This means that the learning outcomes of Mathematics using Cuisenaire blocks are higher than those without Cuisenaire blocks.

Abstract

In managing and carrying out various activities in schools, management is needed for each section. As a forum for learning and teaching science, school management is considered very influential on the success of an institution in its implementation. Management, or the effective use of existing resources to achieve goals, is one of the keys to managing an institution. Educational staff are an important part of schools that have responsibility for administrative management, planning school/madrasah activities for 1 year, inputting student data, checking the availability of infrastructure to support learning, checking the completeness of books in the library, and others. Therefore, the optimization of Education Personnel is needed and developed progressively in order to realizing optimal performance and quality in order to achieve school goals.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: difficulties in learning mathematics in arithmetic operations material for fourth grade elementary school students at SDN Doyong 2 the factors that cause difficulties in learning mathematics for fourth grade elementary school students and teacher efforts in dealing with learning difficulties experienced by fourth grade students at SDN Doyong 2. This type of research is qualitative research. The informants in this study were fourth grade students and fourth grade teachers at SDN Doyong 2. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, test questions and documentation. The data were analyzed through the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: 1) the material considered difficult by students is the material for counting fraction operations: difficulty understanding the concept of fractional arithmetic operations distinguishing denominator and numerator, difficulty in solving problems in story problems, difficulty in comparing number symbols, 2) factors that influence students include low interest and motivation in learning mathematics, and the lack of variety or learning methods provided by the teacher, 3) the efforts made by the teacher include providing remedial, using appropriate learning media, providing innovative learning methods, increasing practice questions, and collaborating with parents.

Abstract

The number of children with autism in Indonesia is no longer in small numbers, in this case it is not only the medical side or the psychological side that needs to be considered, but it is also necessary to pay attention to the education side too, maybe many think that being put into special schools or special schools is enough. enough to guide autistic children even though in reality it is not enough to cover the fate of children's character education, especially in their Islamic character. Looking at the behavior of children with autism, they hurt themselves more, besides that, distrust appears in their souls and will also behave more aggressively than normal children in general. When viewed from the side of character education, character education will be very helpful in terms of giving direction to these children to become more independent individuals and beneficial to others in accordance with the grace that Allah SWT has given, therefore it needs serious direction and guidance because Teaching children who have privileges certainly requires special methods and strategies, therefore this needs to be considered further.

Abstract

Education is an effort to improve the quality of human resources. Education can be obtained through formal or non-formal institutions. In formal education institutions there are regular classes and inclusive classes. Where in the class there are not only regular children but also some children with special needs. Children with special needs (ABK) are defined as individuals who have different characters from other individuals. In particular, children with special needs show physical, ability, and emotional characteristics that are lower or higher than regular children of their age imposed in society. Like children with special needs who are speech impaired. Children with special needs with disabilities are people who experience abnormalities both in terms of pronunciation (articulation). Thus, education is not only for regular children, but children with special needs are also entitled to a proper school. It is also intended that as Indonesian citizens who uphold the values of justice in Pancasila can be applied properly.

Abstract

Inclusion..education..in..the..modern..era..as..it..is..today becomes a very important thing in the world of Education. Therefore,..this study was conducted to find out the usefulness of the CIPP model in the expansion of inclusion education programs. In the process of evaluation of inclusion education, this CIPP model consists of 4 steps, namely: 1) context evaluation, conducted to set curriculum objectives, 2) input evaluation, determining the selection of strategies and teaching methods to be used, 3) evaluation of the process, conducting the selection of the learning process and solving existing problems, 4) product evaluation, is the result of the achievement of a program. In this study, researchers used the research method of literature studies in finding data related to the problem topic.

Abstract

Research submitted on the mentally retarded crew is a person who really needs to be considered for its development because it has weaknesses in thinking and reasoning with this deficiency resulting in learning abilities and social adaptation below the average human being in general. This does not mean that they are unable to receive a proper education. There are various levels to assess the ability of mentally retarded children as seen from their characteristics, so that it can facilitate learning and educational institutions to identify learning models that will be used as in inclusive educational institutions so that they are right on target in increasing their knowledge, especially Islamic education. This study uses aresearch method library research which aims to examine the literature-based sources raised and look for a meaning from the characteristics and models that will be used in inclusive education.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian Language and Literature in schools is to develop language skills both orally and in writing. Most students find it difficult to develop aspects of writing. Especially in stringing words to be arranged into a sentence. This difficulty may be caused by teachers who in their delivery are less precise and almost never use appropriate media. The problems mentioned above require alternative solutions in the form of learning models that can improve students' writing skills. A model that can provide a lot of information to students in order to inspire students and improve writing skills, through the Scramble Learning Model, students can find information about various vocabularies. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods and the variety of methods used in this study was experimental research with a pre-experimental design type of experiment. The research design used was a one-group pre-test-post test. Then the data collection technique used in this research is to use test questions (pre test and post test), observation, interviews and documentation. The research analysis uses the arithmetic mean. Based on the results of the post-test hypothesis, the t-test with the results of the T-value > with the T-table value, so that Ha which means 'Effectiveness of the Scramble Learning Model on Sentence Writing Skills for Class III Students at SDN Pabuaran Tumpeng 2 Tangerang City is accepted, and Ho which means "No Effectiveness". The Scramble learning model on Sentence Writing Skills for Class III Students at SDN Pabuaran Tumpeng 2 Tangerang City was rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student's learning outcomes in solving mixed calculation problems with contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approaches. This research method is a type of classroom action research. This class action research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Setanggor which is addressed to Lendek Village, Sukamulia sub-district. The implementation of this study was carried out in class V of the 2019/2020 school year with a total of 27 students. Based on the discussion of the results of the cycle I and cycle II research it can be concluded that using car-car props on the calculation of integer calculation operating materials with contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach, can improve student learning outcomes this is proven: In cycle, I the number of students completed on the main operation calculates integers (addition and subtraction) with contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach is 66% or 18 of the 27 students. In cycle II, the percentage of student completion experienced improvements with the contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach which is as much as 85% or 23 out of 27 students.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research conducted in class VIII.1 of SMP Negeri 1 Keruak. The purpose of this classroom action research (CAR) is to determine the extent to which students' learning outcomes in mathematics are improved by applying the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Method. In this classroom action research (CAR), it is carried out in 2 cycles, from the results of the actions taken, it is proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes by achieving the classical mastery set that is 85%. Classical completeness 71% obtained in the first cycle, can be increased in the second cycle to 100%. In terms of student activity, there was also an increase, namely in the first cycle, the category of quite active increased to a category. The results of this action research indicate that the application of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics with completeness reaching 100%.
