Rest area in Katoi North Kolaka Regency is a stopover / resting place. Designing a rest area that can adequate the needs of road users who travel far, with the aim as a means of accommodation that can meet the needs. When resting and can be a means of recreation for rest areausers. The approach method used in this research is a descriptive analysis method, namely by collecting, describing, compiling and analyzing data so that a planning and design program approach is obtained for further use in the preparation of space programs and the basic concepts of planning and design. Discussion produces a concept of design reference, namely macro concept, and micro concept. Macro concepts discuss references in determining location, managing site / site, circulation, basic shape and appearance of buildings, and the arrangement of outdoor spaces. While the micro concept discusses the reference on the needs that can support functions in the building, including facilities and infrastructure in the rest areabuilding. With the planning and design of rest areas, it is expected to be an adequate facility for Trans Sulawesi road as a means of accommodation for road users, so as to reduce the accident rate. The application of tropical architectural themes in rest areas is expected to overcome the problems posed by the climate. Tropical architecture can provide solutions to buildings through natural lighting and natural conditioning, so that comfort can be felt for its users.

Kendari City is one of the developing cities in Indonesia with a modern type of society that tends to expect practicality and time efficiency. A typical society like this needs to be accommodated by the existence of vertical housing. Phenomena and opportunities like this need to be addressed wisely by the local government and business people in the property sector. Therefore, the City of Kendari needs to plan a residence that is arranged vertically in this case an apartment as a solution to the current high demand for housing. To be able to plan a good apartment, this study uses a descriptive qualitative method combined with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of location and site analysis, this apartment building is planned to be built in Kadia District, Kendari City. The concept or theme applied to the planning of this building is a modern concept that is the unity and characteristic of apartment buildings. With the planning and design of an apartment building with a modern concept, it is hoped that this apartment can meet the needs of the community as an upper middle class residence and become a new Landmaerk in Kendari City.

The creative economy industry is currently starting to develop rapidly in some cities in Indonesia, including Kendari City. Although relatively young, the development of the creative economy in Kendari City is supported by the increasing enthusiasm of young people in this industry. Therefore, to support the interests and talents of the people of Kendari City, especially young people, this study aims to create a place in the form of a Creativity Center Building with the theme of Expressionism. This theme is considered in accordance with the existing conditions in this city which can describe the expression of building users which is reflected in the appearance and interior of the building. This research uses qualitative descriptive and quantitative methods. Based on the analysis of location and site determination, this building is planned to be built in Kadia District with a total area of ± 4.34 Ha. The design of the facade /in this building is taken from the form of Kalosara which is a symbol of unity and peace from the Tolaki Tribe, as well as from the logo of the Creative Economy Agency. This form is the result of a study of the theme of Expressionism Architecture. The results of the planning of this building are expected to be a reference for the government in creating a place that can support the economy, especially in the creative industry of Kendari City.

One of the advances in entertainment facilities and facilitation in the city of Kendari is progress in the internet (virtual world) and in the field of games. This can be seen with the emergence of various entertainment facilities that are engaged in internet cafes (internet cafes) and games. Game Center in Kendari with the Morphosis Architecture Approach is the process of making a container or place that is centered to provide entertainment about the development of games in Kendari City with the process of forming an innovative, iconic building and friendly to the urban environment. The basic concept of Game Center planning and design in Kendari City through interior and exterior structuring with an emphasis on innovative studies iconic buildings and friendly to the urban environment as a goal of the Game Center with the concept of Morphosis Architecture. Game Center Planning in Kendari with the Morphosis Architecture approach must be used in accordance with the functions outlined in the design reference so that it can have a positive impact both for the building manager, the government, the drafting of further references and the wider community.

Kendari City is a taqwa city. Kendari is one of the areas with the majority Muslim population, which is about 93,27% or around 345.778 inhabitantas are Muslims and Muslimates. Muslims are encouraged to exercise in order to get good benefits such as good physical and healthy body. The Kendari City Goverment has provided sport facilities and infrastructure such as teh City Park, but specifically some Muslimates are contrained by the law in Islamic Shari'a. In Islamic Law, Muslims and Muslimates are required to be devoted to Allah subhanahu wataala. The Muslimats really want to implement religious advice to exercise but also very much want to carry out religious advice to keep the aurats, keep their eyes down and avoid interfering with the opposite sex who are not mahromes. Because of these problems, Kendari City Muslimates need special facilities and infrastructure for sports. The method used in the planning this Gelanggang Olahraga Khusus Muslimat is descriptive method, observation dan study of literature from various literary sourches. From the Islamic Shari'a approach taken in planning, a shar'i sports arena design can be produced in Kendari City.

Green open space is an open space that contains plants, plants and vegetation to support ecological, socio-cultural and architectural benefits that can benefit the community. As mandated by the North Penajam Paser Regency government through the 2013-2033 RTRW, the minimum area of green open space is 30% of the total area of the district. The total area of green open space that already exists in North Penajam Paser Regency is 46,814 Ha where this right is still less than the mandated area of 5,420 Ha. One of the green open spaces in Penajam Paser Utara Regency is the RTH in front of the Panglima Sentik Stadium which has an area of 6.3 hectares which has been built since 2016, but since it was built this green space tends to be neglected. Therefore, a site analysis was carried out to determine the current condition of the site to facilitate the development of the site in the future potential and problems of the site as well as the tendency of area development on the site

Sudimampir Market is in the Central Business District (CBD) area of Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan Province, which was initiated by a Dutch architect, Ir. Thomas Karsten in 1937. Around the 1960s this market began to grow rapidly because many foreign traders started trading around the area. The Sudimampir Market area is one of the oldest service trading areas in Banjarmasin City but does not show any distinct image physically that represents it as an old town area that can increase the number of visitors and can add value to an area. The problem raised in this study is what are the characteristics of the five elements of city image in the Sudimampir Market Area that contribute to the image formation of the area as a whole. This study used Legibility Analysis to see the characteristics and legibility of the five elements of the city's image in the Sudimampir Market Area. The results showed that there were 3 path elements with characteristics that need to be improved and 3 path elements with invisible characteristics, 1 edge element, 1 district element, 9 intersection nodes elements and 3 activity nodes elements, and 1 landmark element. City image elements that describe the Sudimampir Market Area as the Old Town Area are the path and the district, while other elements do not enough describe the Sudimampir Market Area as the Old City Area of Banjarmasin.

Sonai Village has potential that other areas in Konawe do not have in the form of hot springs from the earth. Although it was inaugurated by the government in 2007, the facilities and infrastructure are still very inadequate. Landscape furniture is still very minimal, so information and comfort for tourist visitors have not been fulfilled. This research is a quantitative descriptive research by describing matters related to the subject matter of the primary data approach in the form of observation sheets, existing and interview results, while secondary data is in the form of data from Konawe Regency in numbers, aerial photographs of the Sonai area. 2019. The results show that the Sonai Hot Spring needs to be reviewed in the development of facilities so that visitors can meet the needs and comfort in Sonai Hot Water tourism, with a tropical architecture approach which is a solution for the climate in Indonesia where hot sun, humidity, rainfall, and the wind movement is quite high. The development of a hot spring tourism area must pay attention to the climate of the area, by emphasizing the shape of the building into tropical architecture and using local materials as the main building material is a solution for designing beach tourism in Indonesia, which is predominantly tropical.

Urban park is a community necessity that should be equipped with adequate facilities to improve the quality of the urban environment. Taman Cerdas is an urban park in Samarinda City which is intended for children, however, the availability and quality of park elements and facilities are not fully cared for, such as some facilities are damaged and do not meet standards, especially for children. According to public green open space facilities requirements, urban parks need to be supported by good and sufficient quality facilities, so that they are accessible, particularly for children. This study aims to determine the availability and quality conditions of hardscape elements and facilities of Taman cerdas based on the standard of urban parks’ elements and facilities using the mapping analysis method. The results showed that the availability and quality conditions of the facilities, including pedestrian path, park benches, trash cans, play areas, information boards, sports areas, statues, and public toilets, are 22.2% available and appropriate, while 66.6% are available but not suitable, and 11.1% are unavailable.

Derawan Island is a cluster of islands that are connected to the Tourism Area of the Derawan and Maratua Islands, East Kalimantan Province. This Island experienced a threat of abrasion which compared to data in 2007, the area of Derawan Island in 2020 shrank by 12.60 ha, while in 2018 there was a deterioration of the coastline as far as 15 meters. This has an impact on changing landscapes and damage to buildings in coastal areas, as well as social and economic activities. This research was done to discover the rate of physical vulnerability to treat the negative impact of abrasion. This research used the Spatial Multi-Criteria Analysis method, including weighting on variables and performing Weighted Overlays by reviewing the level of physical vulnerability caused by abrasion on Derawan Island. The results of this study were the Derawan Island Area experienced moderate abrasion levels of 51% (6.33 Ha), whereas the area experienced high abrasion susceptibility of 19% (6.22 Ha), which covered the northern part of the island.
