The result of this research concludes that the first hypothesis which has been done to identify; Ho1 can be rejected and accept Ha1 by considering the value of pearson correlation in level 0,561 and the value significant in level 0,000; for which it is similar to the terms that if the value of significant is still under p < 0,005 and the value significant p = 0,000; value b = 0,361 and the value of t = 6,356; on second hypothesis, it identified that Ho2 can be rejected and accept Ha2 by considering the value of pearson correlation in level 0,615 and the value significant in level 0,000; for which it is similir to the terms that if the value of significant p < 0,05 and the value significant p = 0,000; value b = 0,547 and the value of t = 7,313; on the third hypothesis, it succeed to rejected Ho3 and accept Ha3, by obtaining the value multiple correlation in level 0,660 and Anova significant value in level 0,000; for which it is still under p < 0,005; and the value of significant work discipline p = 0,000; value beta 0,387. From the result Anova, F calculate value 33,539 larger ones from F table, indicates that work-family conflict and work dicipline jointly having relationship with employee performance of Dirjen Binapenta at Kemenakertrans RI. It means positive work-family conflict and work dicipline cause more higher employee perfomance. Abstract

This study begins to approach the issue by applying the agency theory, moral hazards theory, and stakeholder theory, as well as the “Adverse Selection” theory by Stiglitz and weiss (1981) and “Bad Management” by Berger and Young (1997). The last two theories mainly refer to the processing part of the matter to start with, but the last one uses a concept where it is the management (of abank) that must be questioned how efficient they do their job. Management is a wide concept, and such as, which managerial factors that could affect the creation of NPL/NPF must be detailed. This study could be breakdown the three group attributes above to constitute eleven factors, i.e. credit knowledge and skills, integrity and professionalism, spirituality level, moral leadership, corporate culture, hard budget policy, reward and penalty system, credit culture, reputation checking, due diligence and care, and supervision or audit. Further this study hypothesizes that these eleven factors could affect the creation of NPL/NPF, and the creation of NPF is lower inIslamic bank than that of NPL in conventional bank, because the application of those factors is hypothesized stronger or better in the first type of bank by its management than in the second, due to its philosophy and the laws that govern. A research has been completed, employing statistical variance and F test on the data gathered from all the 28 islamics bank/banking units in existence, and 28 conventional banks. The study has concluded that all the eleven factors of the internal management can influence the creation of NPL/NPF in both banks. The study further proves that these factors, independently or as the combination of all, are applied better in Islamic bank than in conventional bank, due to the fact that the syariah concept itself not only applied in conducting the business, but also used as a moral reference in dayly working environment. As a result, theaverage level of NPF is lower in bank syariah than NPL level of conventional bank under study.

Abstract

In a developing country poverty reduction programs has become the center of attention in policy at national and at international agencies and institutions. This study aims to analyze the socioeconomic factors that affect poverty reduction in the perspective of Islam in Indonesia in 1994 until 2009, the data used in this study is time series data, using the variable as a determining factor of poverty in Indonesia is economic growth, the proportion of the population informal working sector, the proportion of population consuming malnutrition, the proportion of secondary-educated population down, unemployment, investment, government policy in the form of subsidies which are: subsidy funds derived from IDT, P2KP, PNP, Independent, PPIP, in addition to data from the BMT form of funding given to the poor, as well as data zakat alms per person infak poor. Analysis tools used in this study is to use a simultaneous equation modelanalysis using the software Eviews-4. From the analysis it can be concluded that all variables are seen in this study a significant influence on poverty reduction in Indonesia in 1994 until 2009, but subsidies and Islam is very small variable effect on poverty reduction in Indonesia.Recommendation of this study is the government should help in terms of funding for development of SMEs due to the Islamic microfinance institutions in effect, reduce poverty, and economic growth can reduce poverty is economic growth and equitable quality, investment as a contributor to economic growth must be done in the form of accelerated industrialization, the accumulation ofhuman capital in the form of education, as well as development and infrastructure improvements throughout the country. With the Islamic instruments namely zakat alms infaq very influential on poverty reduction while very little influence, because in Indonesia the role of zakat institutions have not been efficient because more people believe in giving alms alms infaq directly to the poor or the foundation that manages the orphans, but if domestic policy makers This would seriously to gradually use the instruments of Islamic finance as an instrument of poverty reduction, the authors believe poverty alleviation will be accelerated as well. Our nation will have economic independence, sovereignty and dignity so that the State can be maintained.

Abstract

The search for a substitute for fossil energy resources in view of the growing demand for environmentally friendly technologies for electricity generation, and the needs of the growing economics and population in Indonesia have increased the interest in photovoltaic as a long term, environmentally friendly and reliable energy technology. Although Indonesia outperformed its regional neighbors and joined China and India as the only G20 members posting growth during the 2009 economic crisis, Indonesia still struggles with poverty and unequal energy distribution. Fortypercent of Indonesian households are still not electrified and most of them live in the rural area.Indonesia is trying to introduce a modern electricity technology to rural population who cannot be served economically or in a timely manner by the conventional rural electrification system. For several decades, the electricity generation in Indonesia have been under the monopolistic management of national electric company, PLN controlled and funded by the government.Experience shows that PLN has for reasons of limited funding, inadequate capacity, and has been unable to service and ensure the expansion of the utility grid to most rural households. The utilization of a photovoltaic system is targeted to contribute to the rural electrification and contribute in total of one half percent to the domestic energy mix. The photovoltaic development in Indonesia is progressing very slowly. The goal to have 50 MWp of photovoltaic generating power in the year 2010 has not been accomplished. Current installed photovoltaic capacity is 10 MWp about 2.85 percent of the year 2025 target. This dissertation studies socio and economic viability, rural information access and financial facilities influences to the sustainability of photovoltaic system dissemination in the rural area of Indonesia

Abstract

Indonesia’s logistics costs have been identified as the weak link in the country’s price competitiveness. Part of this problem is attributed to the cost of domestic transportation. This article attempts to quantify the components of domestic transportation of goods overland, especially those due to infrastructure, regulatory barriers, and illegal charges. The study focuses on Sulawesi and covers six routes connecting major cities on the island, as well as three other comparator routes in Sumatra, Java, and West Nusa Tenggara. This report finds that while a big portion of the cost comes from Indonesia’s topography (and lack of infrastructural development to tackle these topography, such as the building of highways), some 10% of transportation cost is due to regulatory and illegal charges.

Active category of VUC sample as analysis unit was determinedby each of five VUC samples at Karawang and Cianjur District. From each VUC sample, thirtyrespondents that use rice milling of VUC, were taken. This research was designed using surveymethod with multi analysis approaches, they were: descriptive analysis and path analysis usingSEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis with LISREL analysis support. The primer andsecondary data were collected from December 2009 to March 2010. The result of this researchshowed that (1) according to the similarity test model referring to the goodness of fit criteriafrom SEM analysis showed that VUC organization communication model is good, (2) level ofperformance, capacity, and quality of VUC service at Karawang and Cianjur District classifiedas low,(3) determinant factors which have real influence on the low performance and capacityof VUC are low quality of information, inconvenient organization communication environment, and low intensity of public organization communication, (4) determinant factors which have realinfluence on the low quality of VUC service are low quality of VUC personnel characteristicand weak VUC organization communication process, and (5) improvement strategy of VUCquality service should be done by developing VUC organization communication model throughagricultural information system development in the centers of agriculture production in eachrural area towards modern agriculture.
