Abstract

Stunting, a malnutrition problem, is defined as shorter in height than its peers. Indonesia has Southeast Asia's third-highest stunting rate, averaging 36.4% from 2005 to 2017. Stunting requires special attention because it interferes with the optimal development of children, causes mortality, and pain, and inhibits the development of movement skills. The study aimed to analyze the relationship between Low Birth Weight (LBW) and a history of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in mothers with stunting. The study used an observational analytic case-control study design using secondary data, with a case-control ratio of 1:1. Toddlers aged 0 to 5 are included. They are using purposive sampling with 142 samples. The results of the study were samples of toddlers aged 0-5 years, male sex as much as 86 (60.6%), low birth weight as much as 80 (56.3%), chronic energy deficiency in mothers as much as 88 (62%). The chi-square test results show a relationship between low birth weight and the incidence of stunting with p 0.000 0.05 and a relationship between a history of chronic energy deficiency in mothers to stunting with p 0.000 0.05. According to the logistic regression test findings, LBW has an OR of 26.83 with stunting, and a history of chronic energy deficiency in mothers has an OR of 4.4 with stunting. The study concluded a close relationship between low birth weight (LBW) and a history of chronic energy deficiency (CED) and stunting incidence.

Abstract

Optimal urinary tract image and able to identify differences in urinary tract image information on urography CT is urography CT tracking image with a thin slice thickness parameter of 1 mm (Sulaksono et al., 2016). However, the thinner the slice thickness will produce high noise that can affect the diagnosis. The FBP algorithm, the standard algorithm for image reconstruction on CT scans, produces streak artifacts and significantly increases image noise when the radiation dose is reduced tremendously (Willemink, de Jong et al., 2013; Willemink, Leiner et al., 2013). Iterative reconstruction iDose4 is a fourth-generation image reconstruction technique that can significantly improve image quality, noise reduction, and radiation dose reduction. This study aims to determine the difference in noise values and diagnostic information of non-contrast urography CT tracking images with variations in FBP and iDose four reconstruction techniques. This type of research is experimental research. Data collection began in May 2022 to June 2022 at the Radiology Installation of RSUD Salatiga City. The results showed that selecting iDose4 level 6 iterative reconstruction techniques produced the best image quality and diagnostic information on coronal tracking images of urinary tract CT non-contrast urography. Therefore, the iDose4 level 6 iterative reconstruction technique should be used as a standard protocol for conducting non-contrast urography CT examinations.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is still one of the most common cancers in women, with a total of 604,127 new cases of cervical cancer, where the death rate reached 341,831 in 2020. The achievement of early detection of cervical cancer in 2016 was 1.5 million or 3.5% of women, while the government's target was 50% of women to do early detection of cervical cancer. This review aims to determine the factors that influence the early detection of cervical cancer. The scoping review method uses the PRISMA-ScR checklist mapping. Article selection using PRISMA Flowchart with stages carried out starting from identifying article searches, filtering articles based on titles and abstracts, selecting articles based on full text, critical appraisal, and article results used. The databases used are PubMed, Wiley, and Science Direct. There were 11 relevant articles out of 713 were found based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, depicted in 3 themes: predisposing factors, supporting factors, and driving factors, including age, knowledge, education level, distance affordability, access to information, family support, and health workers. The implementation of early detection of cervical cancer is still very low in developing countries, so there needs to be a good understanding of awareness and knowledge about cervical cancer and its screening among women in developing countries.

Abstract

The results of the study of the patient safety management team in Indonesia for health services revealed that the provision of informed consent in various healthcare institutions needs to be optimal. Most health workers only ask patients and families to sign informed consent without providing a detailed explanation. This condition certainly affects the knowledge of patients and families. Knowledge of patients and families can cause problems if desirable things happen. This study aimed to describe the application of informed consent in family planning services at Anisa Yogyakarta Independent Midwife Practice (PMB). This study used descriptive qualitative methods. The sampling technique using snowball sampling technique amounted to 4 midwife informants and four acceptor informants. The results of in-depth interviews conducted with four midwife informants said that the implementation of informed consent in family planning services at the Independent Midwife Practice (PMB) had gone well. The midwife had carried out the obligation to ask for consent and provide information while for the completeness of filling out informed consent, 14 informed consent filled in, as many as eight informed consent and six incomplete informed consent and from in-depth interviews, the acceptor was able to explain the contents of the informed consent. Acceptor informants said they signed the action consent sheet after the midwife explained about family planning (KB) that acceptors would use. The informed consent application in family planning services at the Independent Midwife Practice (PMB) has generally been done well. Still, the completeness of filling out informed consent has yet to be maximized, and acceptors generally understand informed consent in family planning services.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women worldwide, with an estimated 528,000 cases and 260,000 deaths yearly (Kagabu et al., 2020). The incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia in 2018 was 23.4 per 100,000, with an average death rate of 13.9 per 100,000 (Profil RI, 2020). This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of VIA and Pup Smear examinations. The research method uses literature, which involves reviewing and critically evaluating existing literature sources. Review of journals in this study by searching for journals in the database (Google Scholar and PubMed). The results of the study state that the sensitivity value of Pap smear is 97.14%. This shows that it is higher than the sensitivity of VIA examination, and the specificity value of VIA is higher at 94.5% compared to the specificity value of VIA. Of the two methods, Pap Smear Visual Inspection screening is more effective than VIA. This study concludes that the Pap Smear Visual Inspection screening method is more effective than the IVA method. The sensitivity and discipline for detecting high-grade scrotal intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) are higher than a pap smear.
