Abstract

There are in excess of 700 million women around the world married before 18 years old and there are 250 million women married before 15 years old. The early-age marriage is viewed as contributing variable to psychological trauma that influences mental and physical development. The review utilized the Arsksey and O’Malley method, specifically identifying relevant articles, selecting articles, data mapping, arranging, summing up and reporting results. The result of this review indicated that the early-age marriage has various effects on psychological disorders such as anxiety, stress and depression. However, not all articles explicitly state the psychological effect caused by the early-age marriage. Further study should be conducted to identify the psychological disorders on the early-age marriage.

Abstract

Root disease controlling has been a challenge in increasing plant productivity. The soil-borne pathogens become the main concern which mostly infects the root surface. One of the most common soil-borne pathogens is Fusarium oxysporum (Fo). Cayenne pepper (Capsicum sp.) is one of the most abundant commodities and contributes significantly to the economy. This plant is also susceptible to Fusarium wilt infection. The use of endophytic fungi as biocontrol agents is an alternative against soil-borne pathogens, one of which is Trichoderma spp. fungi. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of various spore densities of Trichoderma spp. against the pathogen Fo. The research was conducted through an in vitro study by antagonistic testing between spore suspensions of Trichoderma spp. (103, 105, and 107 spores/mL) with Fo. The results showed the density of 107 spores/mL gave the highest percentage of inhibition (54.59%) compared to spore density of 103 (35.27%) and 105 spores/mL (44.44%). The spore density of 107 spores/mL gave a significant difference in response to the density of other spores according to the BNT test at a significance level of 5% and was able to inhibit the growth of Fo more than 50%. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the formulation of Trichoderma spp. which is ideal for controlling Fo pathogens in the fields.

Abstract

Health students have been shown to have more stress than the general public. Student stress if left untreated can lead to health problems. previous studies have never measured a combination of meditation and lavender aromatherapy to reduce stress. This study aims to determine the decrease in stress of health students after being given a combination of meditation and lavender aromatherapy. Quasy Experiment pre test and post test of non equivalent control group. The sampling technique uses Quota sampling. The number of respondents was 40 people divided into two groups, namely 20 treatment groups and 20 controls. The bivariate test used is paired t-test with 95% CI value. Average stress score in the treatment group was 12.50 (normal stress) and in the control group of 14.60 (mild stress). The results of paired t-test in the treatment group obtained p value of 0.001 which means the difference in stress score before and after therapy with an average decrease of 3.20 points. In the control group there was a difference in stress score (p value = 0,000) with an average increase of 1.15 points. The combination of meditation and lavender aromatherapy effectively decreases the stress score of healthcare students. The combination of meditation and lavender aromatherapy can be a new standard for mental health nurses to manage stress on students.

Abstract

Marriage at young age has risks of reproductive health such as premarital pregnancy, anemia, to cervical cancer. Based on WHO data in 2018, there were 16 million young women aged 15-19 years who gave birth (WHO, 2018). Therefore, the researcher intends to know the description of the factors that cause marriage at a young age. This research was conducted semi-qualitatively, the number of participants was 14 pairs of prospective brides and grooms. Sampling technique with total sampling. Data analysis with frequency distribution and open interview. The results obtained that the bride and groom aged 19 years were 100% female and 42.9% male.42.9% of prospective grooms and 100% of women had not worked. The results of in-depth interviews with prospective brides who decided to marry at a young age because they were pregnant outside of marriage. Meanwhile, according to the prospective groom, he decided to get married because he felt he was capable enough to meet his needs, was responsible for his actions and already liked each other. Young marriages occur no longer because of lack of knowledge, but because of premarital pregnancy, inappropriate perceptions of marriage, and economic problems.

Abstract

Based on IDHS Survey in 2012, the average Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) was recorded at 359/100,000 live births. The average mortality rate was much higher compared to the results of IDHS survey in 2007 which was reached 228/100,000 live births. World health organization (WHO) in 2000s introduced Intranatal Care to prevent complications in childbirth. Intranatal care then was introduced to the student through university subject, in which 40% was theory and 60% was laboratory clinic practicum. This research aimed to determine the correlation between laboratory skills frequency and the result of intranatal care practicum of midwifery program students of health faculty in Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin. Methods: This research was quantitative study using descriptive analytic method with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique used was total sampling. The data were collected using secondary data which was presented in the form of data, tables, diagrams, or research topics by using Chi Square test with 95% significance level of 5,991. 32 (37,2%) respondents with 5 times of lab skill frequency showed 75 test scores, while 51 out of 54 (59,3%) respondents who had ≥5 lab skill frequency had ≥ 75 exam scores. Statistical analysis using Chi Square showed the value of p=0,000, which means that there was a correlation between lab skill frequency and the results of the practical test. Conclusion: It can be concluded that improving learning activities in the laboratory will improve students' practical abilities

Abstract

Kampus Merdeka, launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture, calls for increased use of technology in the learning process at the university, followed up by the policies of several universities in Indonesia to implement the Blended Learning method. Several universities in Indonesia started to implement the strategy, but in reality, the implementation was inseparable from the unpreparedness faced by the academic community in its application. The outbreak of COVID-19 further exacerbates this unpreparedness. Thus, this research aims to measure the level of readiness for Blended Learning implementation and provide several recommendations on how people cope with this situation. This research used the ELR (E-Learning Readiness) Model to measure readiness in applying Blended Learning methods. The E-Learning Readiness model used in this study was the Aydin Tasci E-Learning Readiness model. The overall readiness level for Blended Learning implementation is 3.58. This result shows that the level of readiness is at the ready stage and needs a slight increase. This result suggests several recommendations for Blended Learning implementation, especially in this COVID-19 atmosphere.

Abstract

Diarrhea is the number 2 cause of death among children under five in the world, number 3 in infants, and number 5 for all ages. There are several factors that influence the occurrence of diarrhea in infants apart from infectious factors (bacterial infections, viral infections, parasitic infections, parenteral infections). Other contributing factors are attainment of breastfeeding, food factors, and water sources used daily. The aim of this literature review is to analyze the factors that influence the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 0 to 2 years. a process using the search stage to conduct a literature review. A search of relevant databases as well as literature and reference lists of included studies was carried out. An analysis of 10 journals conducted by researchers showed that infants aged 10 months who were fully breastfed when associated with diarrhea had lower scores (OR = 0.59, 95% CI 0.43-0.82), while children -children who received food and candy or milk were associated with an increased prevalence of diarrhea, namely (OR = 1.64, 95% CI 1.22-2.22 and OR = 1.67, 95% CI 1.21-2.30 ). And 2.58 times higher in homes with damaged water filters (OR = 2.58, 95% CI 0.1, 10.1) compared to homes with working water filters. 15% of families with good water filters reported diarrhea, while 31% of families with damaged water filters reported diarrhea. Exclusive breastfeeding for up to 6 months can reduce the risk of diarrhea in infants.
