In this article is related to implemented a method in order to solve vehicle routing problem (VRP) for mineral water distribution activity from depot to customers which has particular constraints such as variant of product that has to be load at a vehicle (multiple product), vehicle?s capacity and time window of each customers. One of the company?s vehicle have 64 customers that must be visited in 6 days so there is a few route has been developed (multiple route). The constraint that set up sustained there might be few customers missed to be visited during horizon plan. Sequential Insertion Algorithm which is one of heuristic method for Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Window is choosen to built a vehicle routing solution. The result from this study show that this method in particular conditions and constraints give a better solusion than the company actual routes. Moreover, in this article, the comparasion of distance and completion time between solution route and actual route, and also the saving in cost is also analyzed. The using of Sequential Insertion Algorithm in this article can be used and applied because its perform an optimal result.

This paper deals with purchasing inventory replenishment policy for deteriorating items consider with the time-dependent quadratic demand and time-dependent backlogging. Two models were formulated and solved. First, it is for deteriorating items with quadratically time-dependent demand for deteriorating items. Second, quadratically time-dependent demand for deteriorating items and shortages. A mathematical model is developed to the fourth-order equation for each model, and the optimal production lot size, which minimizes the total cost is derived. Sensitivity analysis is carried out to demonstrate the effects of changing parameter values on the optimal solution of the system. Numerical examples are taken to illustrate the procedure of finding the optimal inventory cost, cycle time, and optimal lot size. The numerical experiment in this model was coded in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.

The problem of quality is often found in limestone combustion of small and medium central industry in Manyar Regency, Gresik, in which, the quality of limestone is defected and has high variation of CaO. One of many methods to improve it is by applying Robust Design from Taguchi, them, its result is socialized in a central industry as a reference for those who conduct combustion in producing material. This study found four controlled factors that each of them consists of two levels that can influence the quality of limestone: A) raw material (level 1 = yellow limestone; level 2 = white limestone); B) Combustion material (level 1 = wood & rubber; level 2 = wood and gerbage sawmill); C) Combustion length of time (level 1= five days; level 2 = four days); D) Combustion temperature (level 1 = ± 800° C; Level 2: ± 875° C). Meanwhile, the optimal combination factor level to improve the quality of limestone is A2, C1, D1, and B2. If factor of combination level is applied, the number of defected good in each combustion can be predicted as much as 1,41% and the defected variable among combustion is 0.37%.

Customer value is customer's believeing to the most important atributes of supermarket. Those are all about marketing mix atributes such as cost, product, distribution, and promotion. Customer's value can be found with implementing Multidimensional Scaling Method that spreading questionnaires and interviewing to have initial data.This research used Multidimensional Scaling Method to know customer's demand to supermarkets. This can be used as a beginning standart in marketing strategy planning. This method result a perception map that drawing challanging situation among the supermarket that viewed from marketing mix atributes.The result of analysis conclude that demand or the most customer's important atributes for choosing supermarket is cost atribute and distribution. In Hero Supermarket, customer's demand is in product atribute that it's items are good quality product and variety that Hero standed in Kuadran I. To get customers I market segmentation to marketing strategy formulation is : if in area CI, Hero supermarket have a competition with Alfa Supermarket, so that should stress it's strategy in cost atribute. It's also in area III, Hero Supermarket and Ratu Supermarket have a competition in cost atribute. And in area IV, a competition happen among Hero, Mitra, and Matahari departement store in distribution and promotion atribute.

UD Manis is a rice distributor in Lamongan. The problem faced by UD Manis is having no information system for notifying stock in warehouse and customer order although company has used MS Access database. Company requires information system for notifying stock and integrating across department. There are 3 major steps in module sales in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) which are data collection, process planning and testing, & evaluation. The result of ERP system design particularly for module sales by using software package ?Adempiere? has process sequence as sales order, shipment, invoice, and payment. Testing result of ERP system design using Adempiere shows that warehouse and sales department could check actual stock in warehouse more agile and accurate.

Until now days a lot of vehicle still used suspension Leaf spring either in front or in rearsuspension. Commonly the this suspension consist of several peace of springs that called leafspring. This research is focus on laboratory work without experimental test. As a result onlytheoretical conclusion. Natural frequency by modal analysis show that all mode are more than100 Hz. It is very dangerous value of safety passengers and the suspension its self. But withharmonic simulation between 1 until 10 Hz input frequency will be resulted no more than 20mm amplitude. This is the range where passenger still get comfortability according to Janeway diagram of comfort ability. Consequently a lot of people or automotive engineer still usethis kind of suspension .

PT. Indomarco Adi Prima represent one of the company which active in the distribution of product, handling of inefficient distribution represent main problem in this industry which cause the expense of high transportation. Of the condition needed some method to overcome the problem. Generalized Assignment method represents one of the methods which studying process delivery of goods to consumer in supply chain management is the routing and scheduling vehicles of deliveries. Especial target of this method is to plan the amount of proposal product allocation so that is later expected by minimization can the expense of product distribution. Before we apply Generalized Assignment method, is beforehand done by plotting and forecasting of request data 3 months come. Forecasting of demand by using method matching with result plotting of data, and then selected [by] smallest MAPE. After that result of the forecasting processed by using Generalized Assignment method. From data processing obtained by result with Generalized Assignment method (Pakis) obtained by cost-saving of distribution equal to Rp2.038.531,00/period of delivery or by cost-saving equal to 31.70%. While for (Klojen) obtained by cost-saving of distribution equal to Rp1.215.589,00/period of delivery or by cost-saving equal to 22.19%. The result for the distance after using Generalized Assignment method obtained (Pakis)by distance-saving of distribution equal to 116 km or by distance-saving equal to 18.86%. And result for the distance after using Generalized Assignment method obtained (Klojen) by distance-saving of distribution equal to 13 km or by distance-saving equal to 3.74%.

Competition in the manufacturing industry continues to increase, along with the shift in consumer demands increasingly aware of environmental sustainability. Implementation of green supply chain management became one of the company's attention to answer the demands. The government has also regulated related regulations. In Indonesia, wood furniture industries related to environmental conservation have not applied Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM). This study examines the factors that encourage the implementation of GSCM in the wood furniture industry, by involving relevant stakeholders. The weight of the influencing factor is determined by the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results show consumer behavior, support from top management, and organizational strategies that influence the application of GSCM predominantly.

Goal of designing baby cupboard is to make easy for the young mother that have a baby. It designed for any needs, example as place of clothes, tools of bath and tools of drink (thermos, teapot, milk, bottle), and in order to them not difficultto prepare baby's drink in the night. The technics has made to develop alternative is brainstorming. It used with collecting some suggestion from young mother that have a baby, mother to be and susters are in the hospital. From the result with this brainstorming made a Morfology Chart that use to choose the best alternative to design the baby cupboard product.
