Abstract

ABSTRACT Many choices of cosmetic products to make women look more beautiful. One of them is a facial whitening cream (Whitening Cream). However, it turns out that there are still many face creams that contain heavy metal compositions, one of which is hydroquinone. This community service activity aims to provide education to the community in an effort to minimize the use of whitening creams that are dangerous to contain heavy metals. The activity was carried out in RT.02/RW.01 Rawabuaya Village. Through this activity, the identification of heavy metal content in facial creams is carried out by detecting hydroquinone using nonikit. The identification stage is by dripping a little cream and then adding 2 drops of nonikit, then seeing the color change. The results of testing on several cosmetic brands used by the public, there are 5 positive trademarks containing hydroquinone from the facial cream used. Brands indicated to contain hydroquinone are Fair & lovely (30%), Kinclong (50%), BioAqua (30%) and RK Glow (50%), SP Strong (50%). Face creams that have been identified as positive for heavy metals should be discontinued because they will cause serious health effects. This activity has a positive impact on the community to be more careful in choosing the use of facial creams. Keyword: education, whitening cream, hydroquinone ABSTRAK Banyak pilihan produk kosmetik agar wanita terlihat lebih cantik. Salah satunya yaitu krim pemutih wajah (Whitening Cream). Namun ternyata diketahui masih banyak krim wajah yang memiliki komposisi logam berat, salah satunya adalah hidroquinon. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat dalam upaya meminimalisir pemakaian krim pemutih yang berbahaya mengandung logam berat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan RT.02/RW.01 Kelurahan rawabuaya. Melalui kegiatan ini identifikasi kandungan logam berat pada krim wajah dilakukan dengan mendeteksi hidrokuinon menggunakan nonikit. Tahapan identifikasi dengan meneteskan sedikit krim lalu ditambah 2 tetes nonikit, selanjutnya dilihat perubahan warna. Hasil pengujian terhadap beberapa merek kosmetik yang digunakan masyarakat, terdapat 5 merek dagang yang positif mengandung hidroquinon dari krim wajah yang digunakan Merek yang terindikasi mengandung hidrokuinon adalah Fair & lovely (30%), Kinclong (50%), BioAqua (30%) dan RK Glow (50%), SP Strong (50%). Krim wajah yang sudah teridentifikasi positif logam berat sebaiknya dihentikan penggunakannya karena akan menibulkan efek kesehatan yang serius. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif pada masyarakat untuk leboh dapat berhati-hati dalam pemilihan pemakaian krim wajah. Kata Kunci: edukasi, krim pemutih wajah, hidrokuinon.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The cycle of cigarettes is increasingly widespread because people, especially teenagers, think that cigarettes are a symbol of association and maturity. Sometimes we often hear words from teenage smokers saying that they will not be accepted in their social environment if they do not smoke. Currently, cigarette products have spread throughout the world with an increasing number of consumers. This service activity is expected to be a source of motivation for the community in general and teenagers in particular. This is important because by increasing their understanding and perception, it is hoped that it will prevent teenagers from becoming novice smokers or wanting to quit for those who are currently doing it. So that health education like this should be sustainable because the perception of teenagers will quickly change again by having a healthy lifestyle without smoking. Keyword: Exposure; egg; Salmonella Sp. ABSTRAK Peredaran rokok makin marak karena masyarakat terutama remaja menganggap rokok adalah symbol pergaulan dan juga kedewasaan. Terkadang kita sering mendengar ucapan dari para remaja perokok mengatakan bahwa, mereka tidak akan diterima di lingkungan pergaulannya bila tidak merokok. Saat ini, produk rokok sudah menyebar luas di seluruh dunia dengan jumlah konsumen yang terus meningkat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi sumber motivasi bagi masyarakat pada umumya dan para remaja pada khususnya. Hal ini menjadi penting karena dengan meningkatknya pemahaman dan persepsi mereka maka diharapkan akan mencegah remaja menjadi perokok pemula atau mau berhenti bagi mereka yang sekarang sedang melakukannya. Sehingga penyuluhan kesehatan seperti ini hendaknya berkesinambungan karena persepsi remaja akan cepat kembali berubah dengan berperilaku hidup sehat tanpa rokok. Abstract

ABSTRACT Typhoid fever or typhus can be caused by the bacteria Salmonella Sp. contained in eggs. Handling eggs properly can avoid the risk of typhoid fever. People who have a weakened immune system are particularly at risk of developing typhoid fever. This service is aimed at the community, especially housewives who often consume eggs in the form of counseling and distributing online questionnaires about the dangers of Salmonella sp. which can infect humans if the handling and processing is not good. Counseling is carried out online through zoom meetings with 33.33% housewives, 57.15% working people, and 9.52% students. After the counseling was carried out, the authors evaluated the knowledge of the extension participants before the presentation of the material and after the presentation of the material. The results obtained are participants can increase their knowledge with a percentage of 80.96% having answered correctly the questions given. Keyword: Exposure; egg; Salmonella Sp. ABSTRAK Demam tifoid atau tifus dapat disebabkan oleh bakteri Salmonella Sp. yang terdapat pada telur. Penanganan telur yang baik dapat menghindari risiko dari demam tifoid. Orang yang memiliki sistem kekebalan tubuh yang rendah sangat berisiko terkena dampak demam tifoid. Pengabdian ini ditujukan kepada masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang sering mengonsumsi telur dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan pembagian kuesioner secara daring mengenai bahaya bakteri Salmonella Sp. yang bisa menginfeksi manusia jika penanganan dan pengolahannya tidak baik. Penyuluhan dilakukan secara daring melalui zoom meeting dengan peserta Ibu Rumah Tangga sebanyak 33,33 %, orang yang bekerja 57,15%, dan mahasiswa sebesar 9,52%. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan, penulis melakukan evaluasi pengetahuan para peserta penyuluhan sebelum pemaparan materi dan sesudah pemaparan materi. Hasil yang didapat adalah peserta dapat meningkat pengetahuannya dengan persentase 80,96% sudah menjawab dengan benar pertanyaan yang diberikan. Kata Kunci: penyuluhan; telur; Salmonella Sp.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one of the public health important viral disease because. The location of the village is close to the Mount Halimun Salak National Park, the plants vegetation is relatively dense and high rainfall each year. High rainfall in the village can cause containers outside the house to fill with rainwater, this will provide a breeding ground for mosquito growth. The environment around the house where there is still plant vegetation that can function as a habitat and resting place for mosquitoes, especially mosquitoes of the genus Aedes. This community service aims to increase community knowledge about dengue disease in order to prevent the spread of dengue disease. The method used is counseling and larval surveis directly to residents' homes. The results of community service showed that Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae were found in 8 residents' houses. The mosquito larvae of Ae. aegypti which is a vector of dengue disease indicates that it is still possible for the spread of dengue disease. For this reason, a regular and continuous mosquito larvae inspection program is needed. Keyword: 3-6 Words ABSTRAK Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang masih menjadi salah satu penyakit viral penting yang mendapat perhatian khusus, karena kasus DBD dapat ditemukan sepanjang tahun sehingga sangat berpotensi menimbulkan wabah kejadian luar biasa (KLB). Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) disebabkan oleh virus dengue (DEN). Letak desa yang berdekatan dengan Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak, sehingga vegetasi tanaman masih relatif padat dan diikuti curah hujan yang cukup tinggi tiap tahunnya. Curah hujan yang tinggi pada desa tersebut dapat menyebabkan kontainer-kontainer di luar rumah terisi oleh air hujan, hal ini akan menyebabkan tersedianya tempat berkembangbiakan bagi pertumbuhan nyamuk. Lingkungan sekitar rumah yang masih terdapat vegetasi tanaman yang dapat berfungsi sebagai habitat dan tempat resting bagi nyamuk terutama nyamuk dari genus Aedes. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan warga masyarakat mengenai penyakit DBD dalam rangka mencegah penyebaran penyakit DBD. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan survei larva langsung ke rumah warga. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan ditemukannya larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti pada 8 rumah warga. Masih ditemukannya larva nyamuk Ae. aegypti yang merupakan vektor penyakit DBD mengindikasikan bahwa masih memungkinkan terjadinya penyebaran penyakit DBD. Untuk itu diperlukan program pemeriksaan jentik nyamuk secara berkala dan kontinu. Kata Kunci: Demam Berdarah Dengue, Aedes aegypti, Mosquito Larvae

Abstract

ABSTRACT Corona virus is not an epidemic that can be ignored. When viewed from the symptoms, ordinary people will think it's just an ordinary influenza, but for medical analysis this virus is quite dangerous and deadly. Currently, the number of deaths continues to increase. The best preventive effort is to avoid exposure to viruses based on PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior). Forms of clean and healthy living behavior during this covid pandemic include the use of masks; cover mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing; washing hands regularly with soap or disinfecting them with a hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol; avoiding contact with infected people; keep your distance from people; and refrain from touching the eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. The role of parental knowledge will affect the formation of health behavior in children, especially in the application of PHBS. Keyword : Corona Virus, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior ABSTRAK Virus corona bukanlah suatu wabah yang bisa diabaikan begitu saja. Jika dilihat dari gejalanya, orang awam akan mengiranya hanya sebatas influenza biasa, tetapi bagi analisis kedokteran virus ini cukup berbahaya dan mematikan. Saat ini kasus kematian terus meningkat. Upaya preventif terbaik yang dilakukan adalah dengan menghindari paparan virus dengan didasarkan pada PHBS (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat). Bentuk perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada masa pandemi covid ini antara lain penggunaan masker; menutup mulut dan hidung saat bersin ataupun batuk; mencuci tangan secara teratur dengan sabun atau desinfeksi dengan pembersih tangan yang mengandung setidaknya 60% alkohol; menghindari kontak dengan orang yang terinfeksi; menjaga jarak dari orang-orang; dan menahan diri dari menyentuh mata, hidung, dan mulut dengan tangan yang tidak dicuci. Peran pengetahuan orang tua akan berpengaruh pada terbentuknya perilaku kesehatan pada anak terutama dalam penerapan PHBS. Kata Kunci: Covid19, PHBS

Abstract

One of the obligations of lecturers as mandated by Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi is to serve the people. To that end, the authors team performs a form of devotion to the community in the form of mentoring the preparation of financial statements on TK Nurul Insan as a partner built in the field of business early childhood education. Difficulties experienced by partners is the preparation of financial reports and transactions not yet tidy. Through a series of mentoring activities undertaken with partners, progress is being made so that the built partners can record the transactions in a neat manner and the preparation of financial statements according to accounting standards.

Abstract

The ability to speak English is an obligation in the era of globalization. However, there are still many phenomena where English proficiency is still considered low, especially for the class of society who still considers English a difficulty. Community service is carried out to invite the community back about English and things that help to improve English language skills. The results show that the importance of English has been fully realized but the obstacle lies in the approach used to improve English language skills. An introduction to the importance of the number of vocabularies is introduced to help improve English language skills. This is important to do as a form of step that can be used to improve and invite the community (especially school children who live in the community) to determine the right steps.

Abstract

Environmental-based entrepreneurial skills (ecopreneur) need to be applied to all levels of society. Through hydroponic skills training activities involving Family Welfare Development women, apart from having a direct impact on reforestation in residential areas, it can also be a means of environment-based entrepreneurship and especially improve family food security during the Covid-19 pandemic. The reason for choosing the Family Welfare Development Agency in this neighborhood is that based on a survey, the housing location is in a densely populated area and has a narrow area of ​​land. Limited land results in the lack of greenery in the residential area. Whereas human resources in residential areas have the potential for considerable self-development as entrepreneurial agents, especially ecopreneurs. However, they lack knowledge and lack of training that encourages them to develop themselves. Therefore, this environment requires problem solving assistance in providing ecopreneur training media, the method of this service activity uses lecture methods, training and planting techniques as well as evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of organic plant prototypes.

Abstract

The creation of correspondence needs to pay attention to the rules in writing official letters. To minimize errors in writing in letters such as the use of ineffective sentences, errors in writing people's names and positions, it is necessary to compile sentences, good and correct word selection and spelling. Correspondence made by the Student Council Secretary uses Microsoft word so it takes a long time if you have to make a large number of letters to be delivered to all members of the student council. In order to facilitate these activities, training was carried out on how to make letters in large quantities easily, quickly, effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this community service activity was that as many as 25 participants from representatives of the High School Student Council Secretary in Pekalongan Regency gained knowledge about correspondence and the use of mail merge on Microsoft word to support activities in their organization. This activity starts from the preparation, implementation and evaluation of activities. The result of the activity was that the participants were enthusiastic and responsive in participating in the activity, with the hope that the student council administrators could be more skilled in making letters in large quantities and minimize the occurrence of errors in writing letters.

Abstract

Salah satu strategi dari pelaksanaan program KB sendiri seperti tercantum dalam Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah (RPJM) tahun 2010-2014 adalah penggunaan metode kontrasepsi jangka panjang (MKJP) seperti IUD (Intra Uterine Device), implant (susuk) dan sterilisasi. Banyak aspek yang harus dipertimbangkan dalam pemilihan kontrasepsi yang meliputi derajat status kesehatan, kemungkinan munculnya efek samping, kemungkinan kegagalan atau kehamilan yang tidak dikehendaki, jumlah kisaran keluarga yang diharapkan, persetujuan dari suami atau istri, nilai-nilai budaya, lingkungan serta keluarga dan lain sebagainya. penyuluhan tentang pemilihan dan cara memilih alat kontrasespi yang benar perlu disampaikan kepada masyarakat untuk mencegah kesalahan dalam menggunakan alat kontrasepsi dan mengurasi resiko untuk kesehatan.
