Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Political Participation of Women in the Hanura Party Organization of Gorontalo City in the Election of 2014 Legislative Members. The method of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. While techniques for collecting data used in this study are observation, interview and documentation, and technique of analyzing data used interactive model analysis. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) the political participation of women in the Hanura Party organization of Gorontalo City in the election of 2014 legislative members, is still considered low; (2) The low political participation of women can be seen from the results of legislative members elections, which only get one seat from five candidates submitted; (3) And out of twenty three cadres of women from the Hanura Party who have the right to be elected, only five people have advanced in the nomination or 19% of the total number of cadres who have not fulfilled the 30% quota; (4) The low political participation of women can also be seen from their involvement as functionaries of Hanura party administrators, especially at the branch level, only ranging from 19% to 28%; and (5) The low political participation of women as members or cadres can also be seen from their involvement in providing support in the form of contributions of energy, thought and material. Based on the conclusions above, it is suggested to the Hanura Party of Gorontalo City to increase the political participation of women in carrying out various coaching as follows: (1) It is necessary to increase the participation of women through intensive coaching with more attention to social, economic and political conditions; (2) It is necessary to increase participation through intensive socialization of the Law which provides more room for women in politics; (3) Regional regulations need to be formulated which enable active involvement of women in all fields and sectors; (4) it is necessary to motivate women by providing equal opportunities for men in various sectors; and (5) Political learning is needed for women so that they can understand the growing political conditions

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the capacity building of village government apparatus (study on competency analysis of village government apparatus in supporting the development of the village of Telaga Jaya sub-district, Gorontalo regency). The capacity of village government apparatus is seen from three aspects, namely, coach, self-development and motivation. Besides, the factors inhibit the competence of village government apparatus. The method of research used is descriptive by using the qualitative approach. The research informants were 15 informants. The techniques of collecting data used interview techniques (based on interview guidelines), observation and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis conducted qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that at the level of understanding, the Village Apparatus has not understood the preparation of village development planning. In the skills indicator, the Village Apparatus has performed its duties and functions skillfully. In indicators of ability, Village Apparatus has been able to arrange village development planning in accordance with community expectations and able to manage village funds in accordance with the provisions. This shows that there is an increase in the capacity of the Village Apparatus compared to the previous year. The village apparatus is equipped with training and education that support capacity building

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the influence of reward and punishment system towards quality advancement in the office of the National Health and Social Care Security of Gorontalo Province. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation. Whereas, the Analysis method of this research is quantitative by obtaining primary and secondary data as sources. This research applies deductive approach. The population of this study is entirely employees of the office of the National Health and Social Care Security of Gorontalo Province in which 42 people as respondents. The samples are taken by applying saturated sampling technique. Based on the result analysis, it is seen that t count from a variable of reward obtained t count 5,419 > ttable1,682 and by significant level 0,000 <0,05. Thus, the hypothesis of Ha1, in this case, is accepted, in which the Reward makes significant influence towards quality advancement in the office of the National Health and Social Care Security of Gorontalo Province. Meanwhile, giving punishment does not significantly influence towards quality advancement in the office of Health BPJS of Gorontalo Province. It is proved from t count 0,311 is lower than the value of table 1,682 and shows that the value of significance level is 0,757 for which the value is higher than 0,05. Therefore, the hypothesis of Ha2 is rejected, which means that the system of punishment does not significantly influence towards quality advancement in the office of the National Health and Social Care Security of Gorontalo Province. Based on the result of the ANOVA test, it is obtained the value of Fcount is 10,535 with significant level is 0,000. Value of Fcount compares to the value of Ftable is 3,23. Thus, it is obtained that Fcount> Ftable or by paying attention to significance level F=0,000 which means > 0,05 that means there is influence simultaneously between Reward and Punishment towards quality advancement in the office of the National Health and Social Care Security of Gorontalo Province. It is expected that the National Health and Social Care Security for always giving opportunity in learning and development for employees to advance their competency, and an effort of doing the jobs, employees need to improve the working quality and giving service for customers, keep their politeness, and be equipped by adequate facility and infrastructure

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction on organizational commitment through employee work discipline education foundation of Duluwo Limo lo Pohalaa Gorontalo. Research question: (1) Are there positive and significant influences directly organizational culture to employee organizational commitment. (2) Are there positive and significant influences directly job satisfaction on employee organizational commitment. (3) Are there positive and significant influences directly work discipline to employee organizational commitment. (4) Are there positive and significant influences directly organizational culture to employee work discipline. (5) Are there positive influences a job satisfaction to employee work discipline. (6) Are there a close relationship between an organizational culture with job satisfaction of employee. The population in the study is employees with sampling method with a selected sample of 100 people which is used as an analysis unit. Data was collected through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were carried out by path analysis, data processing using Lisrel 8.70. Based on the test results, it found (1) there is a positive and significant influence directly organizational culture on employee organizational commitment. (2) there is a positive and significant influence directly job satisfaction on employee organizational commitment. (3) there is a positive and significant influence directly work discipline to employee organizational commitment. (4) there is a positive and significant influence directly organizational culture on employee work discipline. (5) there is a positive and significant influence directly job satisfaction on employee work discipline. (6) there is a very close relationship between organizational culture and employee job satisfaction. Research recommendations (1) Organizational culture if improved, then the employee organizational commitment will increase. (2) High job satisfaction can increase employee organizational commitment. (3) Work discipline if improved, then the employee organizational commitment will increase. (4) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect directly to employee work discipline, if organizational culture is improved, then employee work discipline will increase. (5) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence directly to employee work discipline. If job satisfaction is improved, then the employee work discipline will increase. (6) organizational culture and job satisfaction have a very close relationship n increasing organizational commitment and employee work discipline, hen organizational and disciplinary commitment will increase

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of personality and emotional intelligence on the performance of employees of Bank SulutGo Branch Gorntalo. The data used in this research is primary data that comes from the questionnaire filling. The population of the study was 47 employees using census method. The analytical technique used to answer the research problem and test bthe hypothesis is multiple regression analysis with the help of Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) software used to analyze the data. Before performing the hypothesis test, validity and reliability test of the instrument followed by testing the requirements of regression analysis. The findings of this research are (1) there are positive and significant influences Personality to Employees Performance of Bank SulutGo Branch Gorontalo, (2) there is positive and sifnificant influence Emotional Intelligence to Employees Performance of Bank SulutGo Branch Gorontalo. Tests simultaneously show that the personality and Emotional intelligence have a positive ang sifnificant impact on the performance of employees of Bank SulutGo Branch Gorontalo. Abstract

The rapid development of the banking world and the high level of complexity can affect the performance of a bank. Weak internal conditions of the bank such as inadequate management, giving credit to groups or groups of their own business as well as capital that cannot cover the risks faced by the bank caused the bank's performance to decline. This study aims to analyze the effect of Non Performing Loans (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) on Return on Assets (ROA) in general banking listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Data collection method through documentation, i.e data collection techniques are carried out by studying documents, financial statements obtained from general banking listed on the Indonesian stock exchange, sample selection using purposive sampling method as many as 20 banks as samples from 45 banks registered in 2016 - 2017. Data were analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Data processing using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) software. From the results of the test F calculated at 1,300 with (Prob> F) value of 0.029. This means that the value of P-value or significance is less than 0.05 which indicates that the variable Non Performing Loans (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) together have a significant influence on Return On Assets (ROA). Based on the results of the t-test concluded that Non-Performing Loans (NPL), and Net Interest Margin (NIM) have a positive effect on Return on Assets (ROA)

Abstract

The aims of this study are to analyze the potential of the economic sector in the development of Gorontalo Province and to identify potential economic sectors that have competitive advantages and specialization in Gorontalo Province. Data collection methods were obtained through secondary data, that is from documents in the relevant agencies. The method used is LQ (location Quotient) analysis to identify economic sectors in the development of Gorontalo Province, identify potential sectors that have competitive advantages, assisted with time series data that looks at GRDP growth between the study area and reference area. The results of the study showed that in Gorontalo Regency on the period of 2012-2016 which became the main base sector was the agricultural sector while for Gorontalo City the main base sectors were electricity gas and water supply sector, building sector, hotel and restaurant trade sector. In addition, those sectors contributed as the most contributor to GRDP and absorb labor in the regency and cities so that it can encourage the development of GRDP in each year in Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

This research aims to know the contribution of employment in tourism, hotel and restaurants sectors particularly to the employment of Tourism industry sector in Gorontalo Recency. Type and data source use the qualitative approach with secondary data observed during 2010 TO 2017. Research data obtained through documenting in related institutions, processed by usingmethod of analysis of tourism sector contribution to the Employment. Research question is what is the percentage of Tourism sector contribution to the Employment in Gorontalo Recency. The research result shows that in 2010 the Employment of Tourism sector was 24.810 workforce or 15,86% of the total employment. In 2011 there was a decline around 1.68% or the contribution in percentage around 14.18%. In 2012, the Employment was 21.198 or 14,26 %. In 2013 there was an increase around 1.67 % or the contribution percentage around 15,93%. In 2014 there was a decline again around 1,21% or the contribution percentage around 14,72%. In 2015, there was a significant increase which was 4,02% or 18,72% of the contribution percentage or the number of employment in 2015 was 29.533 people. In 2016 the data was not provided because the Susenas (Social Economy Survey) was not conducted. In 2017, there was an increase in the percentage which was around 0,96% or the percentage contribution was 19,70%, it means the Employment in 2017 was 33.929 people. The contribution in tourism sector to the Employment during 2010 to 2017 in Gorontalo Recency can be stated as less than 20%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain and analyze the contribution of -based program on to economic condition of maize farmers in Kabupaten Gorontalo, Kabupaten Boalemo, dan Kabupaten Pohuwato Gorontalo Province. The maize-based agropolitan program was a policy of the Gorontalo Provincial Government which was an integrated approach to rural development, especially maize farming. The economic conditions of farmers. In this study are into the area of ​​land ownership, the production of maize in one season, and the income of the farmers. This study employed survey design fro quantitative approach. Data collection using questionnaires through interviews with farmers. The results were analyzed by using t-test to test economic condition of farmers from 2007 to 2017. While the respondent in this research was maize farmer land owners participant of the program, during from 2007 until 2017. The study found that the maize-based agropolitan program in Kabupaten Gorontalo, Kabupaten Boalemo, dan Kabupaten Pohuwato Gorontalo Province had an impact on the economic condition of maize farmers. Abstract

This research aims to analyze intellectual capital effect on productivity. The independent variable in this research is Intellectual Capital which is measured by using the VAICTM Method with three measurement indicators namely VACA (value added capital employed), VAHC (value-added human capital) and SCVA (structural capital value added). The dependent variable in this research is Productivity measured by using ATO (Asset Turn Over) Method of collecting data collected using the literature study method and documentation. Literature study is done by processing literature, articles, journals and other written media relating to the topic of discussion of this research. This research uses secondary data, namely Annual financial report that was published by a company in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period 2012 – 2016. By using purposive sampling method, the total of a sample in this research is 10 companies. Data analysis method uses simple and multiple linear regression. The results of this research indicate that Intellectual Capital, VACA (value added capital employed), VAHC (value-added human capital), and SCVA (structural capital value added) does not have a positive effect on company productivity
