Abstract

The good and right leadership is one of the important things in advancing the organization. Good leadership is shown from the capability and ability to control who they lead. This study aims to obtain a description of the description of leadership in the Department of Youth Tourism and Sports in the City of Gorontalo. The research method uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with several informants and observations and recording secondary data through searching for documents related to this research. The results of the study concluded that the Leadership in the Department of Youth Tourism and Sports in Gorontalo City was not optimal. This can be seen from the ability to make decisions, the ability to motivate, communication skills and ability to control subordinates.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the Implementation of the Socialization of Agricultural Quarantine Regulations in Gorontalo Province, the research method uses qualitative type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with a number of informants and observations and recording secondary data related to the research problem. If viewed from the source approach shows that resources have not been effective in supporting the successful implementation of the socialization of agricultural quarantine regulations because there are still some who do not understand the rules at the time of socialization, whereas in the process approach shows the implementation of quarantine regulation socialization in accordance with the Act or regulations has been determined but has not been effective because there are still obstacles encountered in its implementation, namely that there are still many who do not understand the quarantine regulation. The target approach shows that Gorontalo Class II Agricultural Quarantine Center Achievement has not been effective, because it has not achieved the desired target, the results of the implementation of the socialization have not been fully assessed. There are still obstacles in the form of the lack of commitment of quarantine officers or human resources. So that the impact on the lack of application of services.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the Policy Evaluation of Livable Houses Programs in Gorontalo City (Period 2016-2018). The research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques are done through interviews with a number of informants and observations and recording secondary data related to research problems. The results of the study concluded that the evaluation of suitable program programs for habitation has not been effective, this is seen from the obstacles encountered in the distribution / construction of livable houses that must be in accordance with the stated objectives. Seen from the indicator of the equal distribution of programs that have been conducted unevenly. Accuracy in implementing policies has been done well but not yet optimal, this is because the accuracy in terms of policies is still lacking on the desired target, in this case the recipients of inappropriate housing programs are not appropriate.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the Work Motivation of Employees in the Civil Service Police Unit, Gorontalo Province Community and Fire Protection. The research method uses a qualitative type with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques carried out through interviews with a number of informants and observations and recording secondary data related to research problems. The results of the study concluded that the motivation of Employee Work in the Civil Service Police Service Unit, Gorontalo Province Community and Fire Protection has not been fully implemented. Likewise, the indicators of social relations still need to be improved so that there is good communication between people, meaning that the work done is still overlapping, resulting in a lack of enthusiasm in completing work. The need for security indicates that employees have work certainty, even though it has not run optimally. Caused by inappropriate workloads make employees uncomfortable at work. While the need for recognition shows that employees who excel are given an award, although not all because there are still employees who do not adhere to the regulations in force.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the Effectiveness of Terminal Type A. Isimu in Gorontalo District, the research method uses qualitative type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with a number of informants and observations and recording secondary data related to the research problem. The results of the study concluded that the achievement of the objectives showed that the existence of the Isimu Type A Terminal had not been effectively seen from the human resources owned and the infrastructure owned by the terminal was incomplete and not maintained. Whereas the other factor is the low awareness of the community in utilizing the terminal. So that the achievement of objectives has not been effective. While the Integration shows that communication between users and related parties is less than the maximum, it needs to be improved through socialization to increase understanding of service users. The Adaptation Indicator shows the benchmarks of the procurement and workforce filling process in supporting employee performance is not yet effective, seen from the lack of personnel and the lack of quality resources to support the effectiveness of the Isimu type A terminal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the employee welfare program in PT. Royal Coconut Gorontalo district. The method used was qualitative, data was collected through observation, interviews and literature studies. The number of informants was 20 people. The data obtained relates to the welfare of the employees of PT. Royal Coconut, Gorontalo District, which was then analyzed through categorization and data reduction. The results showed that the theory put forward by Hasibuan about the types of welfare programs when compared with the welfare programs implemented at PT. Most of Royal Coconut is still not in accordance with what is happening in the field due to the fact in the research location that the employee welfare program has not been maximally implemented in terms of economics such as pension, food and transport fees. In terms of facilities such as arts, education funds, and cooperative activities and in terms of services such as pickups, babysitting, legal assistance, financial advisors, insurance and home loans, as well as free health clinic services in companies, they still tend to be limited due to insufficient supply of medicines and doctors and nurses who are often not in the clinic during employee working hours. From the results of the study concluded that the employee welfare is not good because PT. Royal Coconut has not implemented maximum employee welfare services in terms of economy, facilities, and welfare services.

Abstract

Every organization expects its people resources to perform well in order to accomplish organizational goals. Similarly, expectations for the Makassar City Volunteer Democracy's performance in the 2019 General Election. The relationship between work discipline and the performance of the Makassar City Volunteer Democracy is positive and substantial, as evidenced by the value of Unstandardized Coefficients beta () of 0.262. (26.2 percent ). This suggests that the contribution of work discipline to performance is 26.2 percent. There is a positive and strong relationship between competences and their performance, as evidenced by the value of Unstandardized Coefficients beta () of 0.579. (57.9 percent ). This suggests that the contribution of competence to performance is 56.9 percent. There is an influence of work discipline and competence on their performance concurrently (concurrently). As seen by the R-Square value of 0.574, the extent of the effect of work discipline and competence on performance is that the remaining 57.4 percent is explained or affected by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of food-processed Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in reducing poverty levels in Gorontalo Province. This research is a quantitative research. The data source in this study is secondary data obtained through the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Gorontalo Province Food Service. The data analysis used in this study is the Simultaneous Equation / Indirect Least Square. The results of this study indicate that food-processed MSME LQ and labor absorption have a negative and significant effect on the poverty of districts / cities in Gorontalo Province, both simultaneously and partially with a coefficient of determination of 91.372%. The more concentrated food-processed MSMEs are and the higher the labor absorption of food-processed MSMEs, the more they will be able to reduce poverty levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Social Relations of the Javanese and Bolang Mongondow ethnic communities. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Collecting data on research through direct interviews with informants. The results of this study show that the Javanese and Bolaang Mongondow ethnic communities have had a close relationship through various media such as trade, migration, and various phenomena in the community. The nature of harmony in this multi-ethnicity causes inter-ethnic life to have an open, democratic, tolerant nature, and a willingness to coexist in differences. The relationship between Javanese ethnicities and Bolaang Mongondow is a miniature that has social harmony in Indonesia from the reality of a heterogeneous society that is often hit by waves of social disintegration.

Abstract

Indonesia's relations with Russia-Ukraine have been very cordial, especially with Russia, both in terms of economic relations as well as defense and security, where Indonesia often buys weapons and combat equipment from Russia. The Impact of the Russo-Ukrainian War on the Friendship of Indonesia-Russia Diplomatic Relations. Data analysis was carried out using an analysis of the Impact of the Russo-Ukrainian War on the Friendship of Indonesia-Russia Diplomatic Relations. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the Impact of the Russo-Ukrainian War on the Friendly Relations of Indonesia-Russia Diplomatic Relations.
