Abstract

As a period of life, the adolescence is an important stage that a person must go through before he reaches adulthood. During adolescence, many changes occur both biologically, psychologically and socially. Generally, the process of physical change occurs faster than mental maturation. The changes in physical appearance that occur in adolescents can cause anxiety and awkwardness for adolescents because they require them to adjust to the changes that occur. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women in preparing for physical appearance changes during puberty in SMP Negeri 1 Telaga Biru, Gorontalo District, Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all of the 163 female junior high school students of SMP Negeri 1 Telaga Biru 1 in Gorontalo. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling on grade VII to IX students. The obtained samples were 54 students. Data processing was analyzed using chi square test. Based on the research results, it was found that the relationship between the knowledge of young women in dealing with physical changes at puberty was p value = 0.009 < 0.05. Second, there is a relationship between the attitudes of young women in dealing with physical changes at puberty with the results of the chi square test showing the p value = 0.007 < 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between adolescent knowledge in dealing with physical changes at puberty and there is a relationship between adolescent attitudes in dealing with physical changes at puberty. Researchers expect that in dealing with changes during puberty, adolescents must equip themselves with knowledge and have a positive attitude.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of pineapple juice and honey on the acceleration of perineal wound healing in puerperal mothers, with a quasi-experimental design. The research design chosen was Post Test Only Control Group Design using purposive sampling technique with a sample of 36 respondents. The experimental group 18 which was given pineapple juice and honey for 7 days was 150 ml 2x1 then measured by post-test after the treatment while the control group 18 respondents who were not given treatment. The results showed that administration of pineapple juice and honey had a significant effect on the acceleration of perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers using the Whitney mann test to obtain a mean of 24.50-12.50 mean value of 12 ρ value 0,000 <α 0.05.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of foot soaking in warm water with galangal mixture on edema feet of third trimester pregnant women. This type of research is an analytical survey with a research design that is true experiment design with pre-test-post-test with control group approach using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 32 respondents. The results showed that there was an effect of foot soaking in warm water with a mixture of galangal on the edema feet of third trimester pregnant women at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie Gorontalo shows that based on the alternative Wilcoxon test, the p value is = 0.001. It is recommended that the results of this study be used as input in the process of teaching and learning activities and as a reference, especially for further research.

Abstract

Increasing the used of long-term contraception method of Intra Uterine Device (IUD)user required a good and quality counseling between the client and the provider (medical personnel). The research amis to determine the effect of counseling using decision-making tools for family planning on the interest in using IUDs in Dr. M.M. Dunda Hospital, Limboto District. The research type is Quasi Experiment, the population of all pregnant women who are admitted to Dr. M.M. Dunda Limboto. The sample was all 22 pregnant women who came in April 2020 which were divided into two groups, the intervention group and the control group. Sampling technique used accidental sampling. Data collected using a check list sheet and using chi square analysis. The results showed that X2 count> X2 table (6.6> 3,841) then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it could be concluded that there was an effect of counseling using ABPK on the interest in using IUDs in Dr. M.M. Dunda Hospotal, Limboto District.

Abstract

Disaster is the incident or sequence which threatens and disrupts people’s lives that caused of natural and non natural factors as well as human factors resulting in fatalities environmental damage, and property loss. The objective of research was to determine the relationship between society’s participations with flood disaster mitigation at Tolite village, Boliyohuto sub district. The design used quantitative descriptive with cross sectional study approach. The populations are 1101 respondents of societies with sampling was used purposive sampling technique with the samples determinate used slovin formula therefore obtained the samples are 92 respondents. Statistical test used chi square. With significance value is p value= 0,005 small than (p<0,05) thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Concluded, there is significance relationship between between society’s participations with flood disaster mitigation at Tolite village, Boliyohuto sub district.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Telaga Biru. The aim was to determine the effect of the demonstration method on breast self-examination in adolescent girls. This research method used an experimental design with a pre-experimental one group pre-test-posttest design. The sample in this study were 56 respondents. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon sign rank test. The results showed that Pvalue = 0.000 which means it is smaller than = 0.05. Thus, there is a difference between breast self-examination conducted by young women before and after being given the demonstration method. It is said that there is an effect of the demonstration method on breast self-examination in adolescent girls at SMAN 1 Telaga Biru.

Abstract

Anxiety in childbirth is a response to certain threatening situations, often anxiety can be characterized by feelings of irritability, anxiety, nervousness, excessive vigilance, and feelings of tension when facing the labor process. Maternal mothers who cannot control their anxiety and fear before giving birth will release high amounts of catecholamine hormones. Stress hormones that are produced in excess in pregnant women can interfere with the blood supply to the fetus and can make the fetus hyperactive. This literature study aims to determine the effect of audio hypnobirthing on maternal anxiety levels. This study uses a descriptive narrative method in the form of a literature study, literature searches are carried out through Google Scholar, Indonesia One Search (IOS), Digital Reference Garba (GARUDA) and text books. The literature used is published in 2011-2020 both nationally and internationally and is relevant to the topic taken. The results of the study of literature in 6 journals and 3 books found that there was an effect of audio hypnobirthing on the anxiety level of maternity mothers. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that hypnobirthing can prevent anxiety in maternity.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the knowledge of adolescents on cervical cancer prevention. This study uses a quasi-experimental, namely experimental activities that aim to determine the effect that is caused. The sample used total sampling with a sample of 18 people using a one group pre-test and post-test design. The data analysis technique used was the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of health education on the knowledge of adolescent girls with a P-value of 0.001 <(α) 0.05. In conclusion, there is an effect of health education on the knowledge of young women about cervical cancer prevention.

Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior can be influenced by the using social media that is not controlled by teenagers. Pornographic content freedom was circulating on social media that triggers negative behaviors in adolescents. The purpose of the research was to determine the relationship of using social media with premarital sexual behavior in adolescents. The method used analytic observational research with cross sectional approach. The results of the research using Chi square test showed that use of social media has a significant relationship with premarital sexual behavior. P value is 0,000 where the value is <0.05 as a significant level.

Abstract

The policy of Health Departmentin an effort to accelerate the reduction in Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and under-five Mortality rate (IMR) basically refers to the strategic intervention “the Four Pillars of the Safe Motherhood” (Family Planning, Antenatal Care,childbirth and Obstetric care Essential). Coverage K4 indonesia (2006 – 2018), the coverage of health services for expectant mothers K4 tend to increase. This study aimed to analyze the influence of antenatal care 10T to the satisfaction of pregnant women in the Clinic Asyifa Kecamatan Meurah Dua Pidie Jaya District.This stuay was a quantitaive with quasy experiment. It was conducted in Asyifa Clinic, Meurah Dua Sub-District Pidie Jaya District. The population was 20 respondents. The sample of this study was taken from all tottal population. Data were analyzed by using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test.The result showed before intervention 10T, the number of satisfying and disatisfying of mothers of 10 respondents (50.0%). But after intervention 10T, the mother who satisfied increased to17 respondents (85.0%), and 3 (15.0%) respondents were dissatisfied. It was found influencing of Antenatal Care 10T to satisfying of maternal with p-value 0.000.The conclusion drowned the influence of antenatal care 10T to the satisfaction of pregnant women in the clinic Asyifa District MuerahDua Pidie Jaya District in 2019. It is suggested to health services can be a reference for improving the quality of service and degree of public health associated with the service of the ANC is better by applying standard 10T.
