Abstract

Multiculturalism is a term that is relatively new in today's global discourse. In its development, multiculturalism is nothing more than a term that perfects the previous idea, namely pluralism. Multicultural in the perspective of the Indonesian nation is not something surprising. This is because the character and personality of the Indonesian people are accustomed to the extraordinary diversity of this archipelago. Multiculture is not something new because Islamic doctrine and civilization have presented how Muslims with the guidance of revelation should behave. The diversity of human beings is seen as the cause of suffering and misery. Conflicts and wars that exist are seen as a result of this diversity which creates a siltation of humanity's attitude towards it. So experts consider that multicultural awareness must be instilled and become part of human awareness in various aspects of life. To instill this awareness requires an effective method. Education is ultimately seen as a solution to this. The nation-state of Indonesia is full of diversity, be it ethnic, religious, cultural, ethnic/racial, regional, and so on, so understanding and applying multicultural values is a must. It is very urgent to include multicultural education in the curriculum, at least "entrusted" to other relevant subjects, such as: Civics, History, and Religion. Multicultural education is a response to the development of the diversity of the school population, as well as the demand for equal rights for every citizen.

Abstract

Pluralism of ethnicity, religion, race, class, which should be the capital of development, is often manipulated by the authorities to achieve their political interests. Therefore, when conflicts break out in the region, the state seems to cover up the reality of this diversity in the name of "national unity" or "national stability. This research method uses qualitative research with the type of liberal research. As for data collection, it uses books, journal articles, and websites. relevant to the research title.The results of the research with the analysis of various references state that the societal problems of multicultural education in Indonesia include: diversity of regional cultural identities, shifts of power from the center to the regions, narrow fanaticism, lack of solid nationalism, conflicts of national and multicultural unity , Unequal Economic Prosperity Among Cultural Groups, Low Quality of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure, Unclear Educational Objectives, Incorrect Measurements and Curriculum Mismatches.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze programs in the development of Islamic Religious Education in making learning plans in schools. This research method uses qualitative research with a liberal research type. As for collecting data using books, journal articles, and websites that are relevant to the research title. The results of the research are the formation of a system as an overall strategy or plan composed by a set of harmonious elements, presenting a unitary unit, each element and the existence of a logical and analytical approach to various fields. By identifying the objectives, the components contained in the system can be analyzed. The philosophical core idea is that a system is a collection of a number of components, which interact and are interdependent on one another.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the concept of equality and multicultural justice in Islamic education. This research method uses a qualitative type of literature review research. As for collecting data using books, journal articles, and websites that are relevant to the research title. The results of the study state that the concept of equality is carried out using a formal approach and a substantive approach. In the formal approach this study examines equality based on applicable regulations, both in the form of laws and norms, while the substantive approach examines the concept of equality based on output, as well as the process by which equality occurs. Equality is often associated with gender and social status which characterizes differences and similarities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the gross motor and fine motor phases, to describe and analyze gross motor and fine motor development and to describe and analyze the role of play for physical and fine motor development. This research method uses a qualitative type of literature review research. As for collecting data using books, journal articles, and websites that are relevant to the research title. The results of the study state that aspects of motor development are one aspect of development that can integrate the development of other aspects. Motor physical development is defined as the development of the elements of maturity and control of body movements.

Abstract

Education is very important for the continuity of human life, therefore humans should study science along with the process of growth and development. Education brings many positive changes to life if humans are good at digging and processing them well. The more advanced the times, the education also influences both formal and non-formal education. In formal education, especially at the junior high school level, children's development can be influenced by the times, therefore the child's learning process at school must continue to be supported in accordance with the times. The application of Informatics subjects can affect children's knowledge of technology which is continuously developing, in this case of course the application of Informatics subjects is important in the implementation of the current Merdeka curriculum. The lack of knowledge of students in technology along with the advancement of the times has become a problem that must be considered in the world of education. Informatics is one of the lessons that is an important component, especially in the world of teenagers or junior high school students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of informatics subjects in the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum. The research design uses descriptive qualitative research which is directed at analyzing the application of informatics subjects in SMP (Penggerak Schools) which lead to the implementation of Merdeka curriculum. The research results obtained are the application of Informatics subjects which have been made compulsory subjects at the junior high school level. The application of the Informatics subject was again made a compulsory subject after the implementation of the new curriculum, namely the Merdeka curriculum. This is considered with the continuity of the material in the Informatics subject with the implementation of Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

Tongkonan is a traditional house of the Toraja people who coincide in the province of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The architecture of the tongkonan house is known for its distinctive shape through the lower, middle and upper structures which have their own uniqueness or beauty. The tongkonan traditional house, which is full of carvings, has a meaning that symbolizes the social status of the owner. The tongkonan is a place for fostering a family in the unity of harmony and inheritance in every family who is descended from the tongkonan so that it becomes the forerunner which will in turn shape the personality and culture and traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation in every family group or Toraja society. Then the tongkonan which is a traditional house typical of the Toraja people which is used as a place to live, the traditional house of power to become a place of socio-cultural life for the people of Toraja. The method used in this article is the qualitative method and the data collection method is carried out, namely through direct observation which is carried out when holding ceremonies or customs carried out in society, especially the Toraja people. Based on the results of the study, it is shown that one of the implementations of multicultural education is through the tongkonan which is a symbol of unifying the Toraja people where the tongkonan is used as a place to foster kinship regardless of the differences that exist in Toraja society.

Abstract

The tooth-cutting ceremony, which is better known as metatah, implicitly has educational values that are still not fully understood by the community, although so far this ceremony has been interpreted by some as debt repayment, without understanding the other values contained therein. The purpose of the metatah ceremony is to clean someone's teeth chatter, anger, greed (Sad Ripu) and as a symbol will cut 6 upper teeth namely 4 incisors and 2 canines. This research method uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The tooth-cutting or metatah ceremony can be carried out if the child has reached adulthood, that is, women are marked with menstruation and men's voices are enlarged. The procedure and sequence of the metatah tradition in Balinese society in Minti Makmur Village, Rio Pakava District (1) the procedure and sequence of the metatah procession, namely sungkem, then to the carving center, teeth sharpened, smoothing whetstones, treating the sharpened teeth, then picking and pawintean; (2) the meaning of metatah procession for parents is as a duty and obligation towards children. The meaning of the metatah procession for children is the gateway to adolescence and therefore how can it reflect good adolescent behavior in accordance with the purpose of the metatah procession.

Abstract

Education in this era of globalization has had a major impact on Indonesian society in terms of culture and religion. Education in Indonesia has many problems related to the character and personality of students which are very critical and cannot even be controlled by the students themselves. The research method used in this paper is the literary method, by making various literature studies and pieces of literature from experts on the influence of the environment in developing students' Islamic education perspectives. Besides that, this research uses the researcher's self-analysis method, so that insight, knowledge, and the experience of researchers. The results of the study state that the development of education is necessary for the formation of character or morals in the individual personalities of students and educators. Through management is the process of coordinating all resources through the process of planning, organizing, directing and controlling to achieve the goals set.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the role of multicultural education in building a nationalist and religious nation. The research method used is descriptive research based on experts or previous research and collecting data from several scientific journals and books. Indonesia is a very multicultural country, which can be seen from the many differences that exist within it. Differences are not something for us to be divided, but differences will make us remain strong and united in every diversity that exists. Indonesia has diversity, starting from the diversity of tribes, religions, languages ​​and cultures. Not only that, Indonesia also consists of 17,000 islands, which makes Indonesia famous for its natural wealth. However, there are various problems that must be faced by the Indonesian nation, starting from divisions resulting from differences in religion, ethnicity, and language.
