Abstract

The impact of humanitarian crises and disasters on structural inequalities and women'svulnerability is discussed in depth in this paper. Despite these difficulties, women are still the earliestresponders in disasters, have the ability to reach hard-to-reach areas, and have a great awareness of the localcontext. The findings of research and lessons learned from the YAA program in humanitarian response inCentral Sulawesi and Banten will be the focus of this paper. There are five important results of the researchand learning program. First, the disaster increased pre-existing gender disparities. This crisis has affectedwomen and girls disproportionately. For women, this has resulted in new risks and vulnerabilities, as wellas new potential for change. Secondly, men continue to dominate the official decision-making structuresand coordinating systems for disaster response. Women and women-led organizations, on the other side,have been able to impact informal and local decision-making spaces. The third finding is that women andwomen-led groups have a wide range of skills, expertise, and connections that become important assets inhumanitarian assistance. Due to a lack of competence in humanitarian work and operational capacity issues,women's participation is still limited. The fourth result is that local community voices, knowledge, andcultural traditions can all be deployed as resources in a community-based disaster risk reduction programthat is integrated into regional development policy. The last result is that the community's collective memoryof disasters, as well as local understanding about disaster risk mitigation, must be transferred down throughthe family in order for potential disasters to be dealt with effectively. In other words, localization inhumanitarian response brings communities, particularly local women, at the centre of humanitarianpreparedness and response in a fair and dignified manner. It is believed that by localizing humanitarianresponse, local capacity will increase, reducing disaster risk and promote community resilience in the faceof disasters.

Abstract

This paper traces the journey of women who survived child marriage in Sukamara, Central Kalimantan. Sukamara is the district in Central Kalimantan with the highest child marriage rate. Central Kalimantan is one of the provinces with the highest child marriage rate in Indonesia. The purpose of this research how to analize experiences of survivors of child marriage victims regarding bodily autonomy. Then, the writer connects the autonomy of the body with the moral problematic phenomenon of objectivity as a power relation according to Martha Nussbaum's understanding. Researchers used interview research methods. The research instrument uses a detailed list and then is classified into factual solids, categories and theme questions. The results of the study, the research subjects experienced bitter experiences which were illustrated by acts of sexual violence, neglect from husbands and in-laws, and the lack of reproductive health due to women's responsibilities from power relations in survivors of child marriage. In addition, this study also confirmed Martha Nussbaum's theory that objectification is present in the absence of approval, pride and independence which is something negative.

Abstract

Fenomena adanya media sosial yang sangat di gandrungi saat ini adalah Youtube. Youtube merupakan salah satu platform audio visual sudah ada sejak lama yang mendapat perhatian tersendiri dalam masyarakat, terlebih anak muda yang memiliki ide kreatif dalam membuat konten-konten youtube sehingga konten tersebut menarik minat viewers untuk menontonnya. Kebebasan masyarakat yang dapat berperan sebagai kreator sekaligus penonton menjadi daya tarik masyarakat khususnya Indonesia untuk menggunakan Youtube. Memiliki akses yang sangat mudah serta beragam konten yang up to date yang disajikan menjadikan Youtube sebagai alternative untuk masyarakat terlebih generasi muda. Konten-konten yang disajikan bisa dalam ekonomi seperti iklan produk, review produk tertentu, dalam bidang pendidikan semisal beasiswa, perjalanan mengembara dalam menuntut ilmu, atau yang lainnya ataupun konten berbasis agama yang berisikan tentang berisi motivasi, ceramah, hijrah, atau konten agama lainnya. Penggunaan media sosial berdampak pada peningkatan perekonomian penggunanya. Abstract

Pemenuhan hak sipil bagi penganut agama lokal atau kepercayaan, secara formal sudah mulai menampakkan hasil setelah adanya Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi No.97/PUU-XIV/2016. Putusan MK ini telah ditindak lanjuti oleh Kementerian Dalam Negeri dengan menerbitkan Kartu Keluarga dan Kartu Tanda Penduduk yang mengakomodir kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Namun hal ini tidak sepenuhnya memuaskan penganut agama lokal, khususnya tidak diakomodirnya kolom agama dalam KTP mereka. Selain itu belum terselesaikan persoalan terkait Akta Perkawinan bagi penganut agama lokal yang berasal dari komunitas adat yang rata-rata tidak bergabung di organisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan makna filosofis yang terkandung dalam kesenian barongsai dari sudut pandang agama Konghucu. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori semiotika yang digagas oleh Roland Barthes. Metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data yaitu dengan cara wawancara kepada salah satu tokoh agama Konghucu, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, singa sebagai hewan dalam penggambaran Barongsai melambangkan keberanian, kekuatan, stabilitas, kepercayaan diri, dan keberuntungan. Bagian tubuh Barongsai diantaranya, (1) hidung singa yang biasanya berwarna hijau merupakan lambang keberuntungan, kemakmuran, dan pengaruh surga, (2) dahi yang diberi ornamen cermin ialah simbol untuk menakuti roh jahat, (3) tanduk di kepala Barongsai menjadi simbol untuk hidup dan regenerasi serta mewakili unsur perempuan, (4) telinga dan ekor mewakili kebijaksanaan dan keberuntungan, (5) tulang belakang menjadi wujud dari ular merupakan simbol pesona dan kekayaan, (6) dahi dan jenggot berasal dari naga menjadi simbol kekuatan, kepemimpinan serta mewakili unsur laki-laki, (7) bagian terakhir adalah punuk belakang kepala yang berarti simbol umur panjang. Selain itu terdapat lima warna kostum Barongsai yang melambangkan berbagai unsur. Warna-warna ini terdiri dari, (1) kuning yang melambangkan unsur bumi sebagai pusat kehidupan, (2) hitam perlambangan dari unsur air dan merujuk pada arah utara, (3) hijau sebagai lambang dari unsur kayu dan arah timur, (4) merah menjadi lambang dari unsur api serta merunjuk pada arah selatan, (5) terakhir warna putih yaitu menggambarkan unsur logam dan arah barat. Buah, bunga, dan sayur dalam pentas bermakna, (1) jeruk mandarin, sebagai bentuk limpahan rezeki, (2) jeruk bali, bentuk dari perlindungan dan keutuhan keluarga, (3) nanas, simbol kejayaan dan mekarnya rezeki, (4) tebu, lambang dari kemerdekaan, kemakmuran, kesuburan, dan umur panjang, (5) selada, bentuk harapan di tahun baru agar memberikan keberuntungan, (6) biji teratai, simbol banyaknya keturunan, (7) lili putih, melambangkan keharmonisan rumah tangga, (8) daun bawang, simbol dari uang dan kekayaan.

Abstract

This article seeks toexplain that humans know each other among religious people in the Qur'an Surah Al-Hujurat: 13 and as an interpretation shows the greatness of God that man was created to have a high sense of tolerance. In this article, an important meaning is found, namely God's call for mankind in the world to know with each other regardless of anything, as well as the basic concept of Islam that provides peace and affection between fellow creatures of God. Through this paper, a little review of the principles of Islam as a religion of peace. Surah Al-Hujurat: 13 includes surah which supports the concept of rahmatan lil alamin.

Abstract

Selain menjadi kebutuhan, fenomena penggunaan media sosial online masyarakat memiliki kompleksitas tersendiri dalam tatanan masyarakat. Perubahan fungsi media sosial berdasarkan platform bawaan menandakan banyak alternatif lain yang dapat digunakan masyarakat dalam mencapai sebuah tujuan. Facebook merupakan salah satu media sosial online yang pada platform awalnya ditujukan untuk melakukan networking sosial secara virtual. Tujuan tersebut mulai bergeser seiring kebutuhan masyarakat dan pengembangan media sosial itu sendiri. Masyarakat telah menggunakannya guna mencapai tujuan ekonomi, sosial dan bahkan keagamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam makna dibalik fenomena information sharing keagamaan pada media sosial Facebook. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sedangkan pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori thick description yang dikemukakan oleh Clifford Greetz. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa deskripsi mendalam tentang dinamika sosial masyarakat tentang konflik ideologi dan politik Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research discusses about one part of the social changes that occurred in Sumenep during the colonial period, namely the strengthening of local ulama in the community including the factors that caused it. This research use a historical method with a socio-political approach, this study makes use of colonial archives and other supporting literatures to explain the historical process of the rise of kiai prestige among the community and to analyze various causes and effects. The results of this study are that the strengthening of the authority of the kiai among the people of Sumenep is influenced by two factors, they are; (1) the ecological conditions of the villages in Madura which caused Islam to become a binding symbol, and (2) the change of bureaucracy from traditional to colonial with the place in the region at the same time. Meanwhile, the impact of the strengthening of the kiai's authority is marked by two things. First, the spread and development of Islamic Boarding School to remote villages in Sumenep, and the second, the high enthusiasm of the community towards Islamic-inspired movement organizations in the early twentieth century which continued even into the independence era.

Abstract

Conflict can be interpreted as conflict, dispute, or conditions that are not in accordance with what they should be, conflict is usually accompanied by violence, but it is undeniable that there are conflicts that are not accompanied by violence. In Indonesia, conflict is not something new, it even occurs relatively often, this is because Indonesia is a pluralistic/multicultural country, with that difference Indonesia is prone to conflict. Like the conflict in Maluku in 1999. After the outbreak of the reformation event, it provided an opportunity for certain groups in Maluku to vent their grudges that had been buried so far. The Maluku conflict went on for a long time and claimed many lives. This study aims to find out how the Malino Agreement is an effort of conflict mediation in this complex Maluku conflict.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out and analyze how the President's Instructions are an effort to mediate conflict in the Poso conflict. The research method in this paper uses the method of library research (library research) obtained from various sources of literature (books, literature, articles, magazines, websites, journals, research results and so on) with qualitative data analysis. The results of this study concluded that there were two main factors that became the basis for the conflict in Poso, namely the dominance of religion and the transfer of power both economically, socially and politically. By making efforts to resolve the representation between the two parties in order to find peace, then the Presidential Instruction No. policy was issued. 14 of 2005 which consists of: 1) In carrying out handling of Poso must be coordinated in an integrated and comprehensive manner. 2) Every case of crime and terror must be handle firmly. 3) In carrying out the handling efforts, he still pays attention to the Malino Declaration on December 20, 2001.
