Abstract

East Lombok is one of the districts in the province of West Nusa Tenggara which still has a high number of children with undernutrition. Undernutrition is a condition in which the body does not get adequate nutritional intake for growth, development and maintaining health. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to the community and students about the gut microbiota and the role of probiotics on gastrointestinal health in malnourished children. The method of this activity is counseling and filling out questionnaires before and after counseling. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that there was an increase in the knowledge of the counseling participants, namely 100% of the participants knew the benefits of balanced nutrition in children; the definition of stunting, undernutrition and malnutrition; the effect of good nutrition on development and growth; undernutrition causes children to experience developmental disorders, reduced levels of intelligence and academic achievement; and probiotics and the role of probiotics for gastrointestinal health. However, only 47% of participants were able to answer foods that were included in the 4 healthy 5 perfect foods. So we conclude that the target of this community service activity already understands the socialization material presented.

Abstract

After the research team made observations in Pegondang Hamlet, the research team found that several parents deliberately gave smartphones to their children who were even toddlers with minimal supervision and some had businesses that had to be taken care of. Therefore, the research team felt the need to educate the relationship between technology and children and how to manage business for parents who sell while taking care of children. The method chosen by the research team in carrying out this Community Service activity is PAR (Participatory Action Research). Community Service Activities with the theme of Free Children's Seminar with Prizes are able to change parents' views regarding the use of smartphones and the introduction of technology in children. This service activity is also able to provide solutions for parents who are busy in business to remain able to carry out their role in raising children well through business management.

Abstract

MSMEs in Mataram City in 2020 amounted to 22,473 which makes it the highest number compared to MSMEs in the Regency and City of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The number consists of 15,746 Micro classes, 6,194 Small, and 533 medium classes. There are still many micro-enterprises in Mataram and the class must be upgraded to Small or Medium Enterprises. This becomes complex related to capital, sales strategy, and Annual Turnover to increase company profits. Increasing company profits can be achieved by optimizing profits. MSMEs in the production sector sometimes find it difficult to determine the cost of production. The service is carried out by teaching the cost of the production program through the asynchronous method. The Chairperson and Members visit MSME traders who have processed products and processed raw materials into finished goods that are ready to be sold. The service mechanism is carried out in several stages including, FGD with the service team and partners, partner interviews, making the cost of production, making presentations recorded through the Zoom application, and will be shared on Google Drive, sending Google Drive links to service partners.

Abstract

Fires in homes can be caused by short circuits and leakage of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG). LPG gas leaks are very dangerous because apart from being able to cause fires, they can also cause explosions so LPG leaks need to be dealt with quickly so as not to cause greater damage. One way to overcome this is by training the community to make LPG gas detectors. The result of the PKM is that effective training can be carried out for junior high school children, senior high schools, and the general public.

Abstract

TOEFL training by implementing the Presentation, Practice and Production (PPP) method aims to help lecturers at the West Nusa Tenggara university in an effort to increase the TOEFL (Test of English as a foreign language) score. The difficulty of determining the right method and media to get the TOEFL score and score according to the cooled is the main reason for implementing this community service. This community service aims to provide not only knowledge but also readiness to face the TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) exam for lecturers at the University of West Nusa Tenggara. The method used in this community service is the Presentation, Practice and Production (PPP) method. As the name implies, the PPP method prioritizes in-depth explanation of the material by the lecturer or tutor and then asks the service participants to practice working on questions and generate answers and analyzes from the participants. The results of this community service activity received a positive response from the partners, in this case the University of West Nusa Tenggara, especially because this program was in accordance with their needs. This form of positive response can be seen from the active participation, both from partners and from training participants. The motivation of the trainees to take part in the training process was quite enthusiastic. This indicates a desire to improve their ability to master the TOEFL in depth

Abstract

Corruption is defined as carrying out an action with the intention of obtaining wealth and or profit that is contrary to the rights and obligations of others. This community service program aims to provide enlightenment to Prospective Advocates of the Indonesian Legal Advisory and Consultant Association regarding the Prevention of Corruption for Prospective Advocates. After the service program was carried out by providing legal counseling related to understanding in order to avoid corruption, the training participants who were prospective advocates became more aware and understood the importance of a deep and basic understanding of the elements and concepts of corruption. Then, efforts that can be made to increase public participation in preventing corruption include; system improvement, because a good system can minimize the occurrence of corruption. For example, through online public services, integrated surveillance systems, and so on. In addition, by structuring public services through coordination and supervision of prevention (korsupgah), as well as encouraging transparency of state administrators (PN). Meanwhile, in order to encourage transparency of state administrators (PN), the KPK accepts LHKPN reports and gratuities. In carrying out its coordination tasks, the KPK has the authority to request reports from relevant agencies regarding the prevention of corruption. As for the implementation of its supervisory duties, the Corruption Eradication Commission has the authority to supervise, research, or review agencies that carry out their duties and authorities related to eradicating corruption, and agencies that carry out public services.

Abstract

The service program is one of the obligations of the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education that must be carried out. The Bumigora University service team has successfully carried out service at Yarsi Mataram Kindergarten. This result is to increase awareness of the importance of saving from an early age, the team provides socialization through playing and singing, storytelling (media storytelling) which in the story adds to the benefits of saving for children in the future, and quizzes. Teaching the importance of saving from an early age can shape children's character, children will be more responsible for the money they have, can save more, introduce the value of money later on, children will be able to distinguish which are priority needs and which are not.

Abstract

Pengabdian tren pembangunan di era otonomi daerah yang saat ini berlangsung dan menjadikan desa sebagai salah satu ujung titik sentral pembangunan nasional. Desa Tegalreja yang terletak diKecamatan Tegalreja Kabupaten Karawang merupakan desa dengan predikat mandiri, yang telah melakukan transformasi perubahan dalam memberikan pelayanan prima terhadap masyarakat dan merupakan percontohan bagi desadesa di Kabupaten Karawang khususnya. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah menganalisis pengembangan Desa Tegalreja dengan konsep smart village dengan menggunakan aspek smart governance yang dikemukakan oleh Santoso dkk (2019:15) dalam mengeksplorasi pelayanan di Desa Tegalreja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penyelenggaraan pelayanan oleh pemerintah Desa Tegalreja sudah berbasis teknologi informasi komunikasi (TIK) terlihat dari Akses kemudahan pelayanan masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan media sosial facebook dan whatsapp yang membantu koordinasi antara perangkat desa dengan warga masyarakat. Di samping optimalisasi partisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan dan kebijakan, Desa Tegalreja dalam pengelolaan dana desa tersebut dilakukan berdasarkan prakarsa masyarakat terkait kebutuhan rill dalam berbagai bidang. Guna terpenuhinya transparansi informasi publik Desa Tegalreja telah menerapkan keterbukaan informasi dengan memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Desa (SID), yang mana laporan terkait anggaran desa berbentuk soft file (PDF) secara langsung masuk dan disebarkan di group whatsapp yang artinya setiap masyarakat Desa Tegalreja dapat melihat laporan perkembangan keuangan desa.

Abstract

Bookkeeping and administration are needed as a forum for a group of people, including farmer groups. Bookkeeping is a recording process that is carried out obligatory and regularly in accumulating all types of data and information about finances consisting of liabilities, income, assets, costs and capital. The total value of the gift and income of goods or services, ends with the preparation of daily cash and a ledger in the form of a balance sheet, as well as a profit and loss statement for the period of the year as described in Law Number 28 of 2007 Article 28. Regarding the bookkeeping as described in the Act, it emphasizes on all entrepreneurs about the importance of bookkeeping. Because the bookkeeping in the company's internal is the main basis that becomes the foundation of the accounting system. In the recorded accounting system, the company's financial movements can be known in detail. Bookkeeping and administration, the main tasks and functions of the Tourism Manager in Sembalun NTB, are a form of community service. This assistance aims to train farmers so that the management of bookkeeping and administration operations is properly recapitulated. The method used in this service activity consists of five months of observation, socialization, and direct assistance. As a result of this community service, participants were able to understand how to book and administer tourism in Sembalun, West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

This community service article discusses the importance of providing the basics of understanding and developing the ability to write news about school activities among teachers and students. As it is known that various school activities are an indicator of the implementation of work programs that are planned for both short-term annual and long-term in multi-year. The realization of the implementation of a number of school work programs should ideally be disseminated to the general public, so that the reputation of the educational institution concerned increases. This can be done at least if the school has at least two things, namely among teachers or students who have the ability to write news at least, namely the Citizen Journalism model and open collaboration networks or partnerships with print and online mass media. From this premise, it is important to carry out a series of socialization activities through training activities for both teachers and students. This activity starts from identifying the lack of socialization of school activities because of the lack of publicity, conducting institutional collaboration between campuses and schools, and improving the ability to write news about school activities.
