Abstract

Film is one of the mass communication media that is used to convey various kinds of messages or information. Like the film, fighting gloves. A wide-screen film with the genre of drama and action, it contains da'wah messages. This film was inspired by Makassar culture, namely Tarung Sarong, which in this film collaborates between culture and religion so that goodness can be born because it is accompanied by religion, as in the story of this Tarung Sarong film. This film tells the story of a wealthy businessman's son who thinks money is everything, so that makes him not believe in God. Departing from this phenomenon, the authors decided to conduct a more in-depth study of the film Tarung Sarong in order to understand the da'wah messages contained in the film with Tzvetan Todorov's narrative analysis. The purpose of this study was to find out the narrative analysis of da'wah messages in the film Tarung Sarong. The benefits of this research are theoretically expected to be an interesting study in conveying da'wah messages which are expected to make a positive contribution as well as the development of knowledge about narrative analysisThe type of research used is a type of qualitative research with a narrative approach, where the author makes observations, namely observing and developing observational power about the object to be studied and analyzing it using Tzvetan Todorov's narrative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Tarung Sarong film has messages of preaching aqidah, morals, and sharia. We can see the message of preaching the aqidah (remembrance by saying istighfar) at the beginning of the film Tarung Sarong. We can see the message of preaching morality (saying greetings to fellow Muslims) at the beginning of the film Tarung Sarong. We can see the message of preaching akiqah (belief in God), in the middle. We can see the message of Islamic akwah (prayer) in the middle. We can see the message of preaching morals (saying greetings, being grateful, and helping each other), we can see in the middle. Moral da'wah messages (always be grateful, help each other and sincerely this da'wah message can be seen at the end of the film Tarung Sarong) Keywords:  Narrative Analysis, Dakwah Messages, in the Film Tarung Sarong.

Abstract

Literacy has a great influence on the generation of a nation. Every citizen must have literacy skills to become an intelligent citizen. The top priority of a nation is educational progress that suppresses student literacy. One of them is cultural literacy and citizenship. Cultural literacy can be interpreted as the ability to understand and appreciate Indonesian culture as part of national identity. Meanwhile, civic literacy is the ability to understand rights and obligations as citizens. In carrying out cultural and civic literacy, it is guided by six basic principles in supporting cultural and civic literacy: 1. culture as a way of thinking through language and behavior; 2. art as a cultural product; 3. multicultural and participatory citizenship; 4. nationalism; 5. inclusiveness; 6. direct experience. Abstract

Constructive feminism claims that gender is socially constructed by the domination of men. Being constructive then also indicated that women could define their own meanings by themselves. The Answer is No is a short story written by Naguib Mahfouz. It explores dilemma of a female teacher who was assaulted by a trusted tutor at fourteen years old and now faces the perpetrator as her school's new headmaster. The woman refuses to yield before the man and chooses to maintain her dignity and self-respect. Through qualitative method, this paper underlines constructive feminism in which the woman could choose her own story for her future. Despite all her bad past memories, she could keep going on by saying no as her main answer. In conclusion, constructive feminism is crucial in the daily life of women since it could criticize matter of domination of men alongside with any possibility for woman to move forward. Abstract

Technological developments require the world of education, especially schools to implement management information systems in supporting administrative services, both for students, teachers, education staff, as well as for the completeness of appropriate infrastructure. The purpose of this study was to find out how the process of administrative services through the implementation of management information systems at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Padang Sidempuan. In carrying out this research, qualitative methods were used through literature studies and field studies to be able to collect sufficient data. Furthermore, the data was analyzed through stages such as simplifying the data to determine the research focus, compiling research reports, and drawing conclusions according to the research objectives. The research data were obtained through interviews, observation, and questionnaires. From this study, the results were obtained that implementing a management information system could support administrative services at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Padang Sidempuan. Implementation of this management information system has been running effectively and efficiently. Utilization of facilities and infrastructure is appropriate and optimal so that the quality of education at SMK Negeri 1 Padang Sidempuan City is increasing along with the increase in administrative service processes and being able to help students, teachers and other employees in learning process activities and easier to obtain the latest information. Abstract

Sales person is a major thing in sales, Work procrastination is something that companies really avoid, mainly doing by sales people. Work procrastination done by sales person is influenced by several factors, one of the factors within the individual is self-control. External factors are the psychosocial work environment. This study aims to examine the effect of the psychosocial work environment and self-control on work procrastination in sales persons at PT.X. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 77 sales persons. Data analysis used multiple regression techniques. The results showed that there was an influence of the psychosocial work environment and self-control separately or together on work procrastination in sales persons at PT.X. The joint analysis shows a coefficient of F value of 14,784 and a significance coefficient of 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05) and an R square of 0.285 is obtained. This means that there is a very significant influence between the psychosocial work environment and self-control together on work procrastination in sales persons at PT.X with a relative contribution of 28.5% while the remaining 71.5% is influenced by other factors. not included in this study. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving tea dregs on the growth of the ornamental plant Sri Rejeki (Aglaonema royal ripple). This research was conducted at the laboratory of the Faculty of Teaching and Education, Gunung Leuser University, Aceh on January 4-31 2023. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 (five) treatments and 3 (three) replicate treatments so that the total there are 15 trials. The parameters observed in this study were plant height which was seen from the age of 7 hst, 14 hst, 21 hst, 28 hst. The result showed that use of te dregs had a significant effect on the growth of Sri Rejeki (Aglaonema royal ripple) ornamental plants on plant height parameters in the first week F count (35,87) < F table significant level (5%) and (1%), at second week F count (10,08) < F table significant level (5%) and (1%), third week F count (64,45) > F table significant level (5%) and (1%), at fourth wek F count (106,31) > F table (5%) and (1%). Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the influence of Online Accounting Software, Educational Background, Business Size and MSME Business Duration on the Quality of MSME Financial Statements in Gondangrejo District. The population in this study is MSMEs located in Gondangrejo District, which amounts to 925 MSMEs. From this population, a study sample of 90 respondents was drawn which was confirmed through the Slovin formula. The data obtained are primary data and obtained from the distribution of questionnaires with a total of 35 questions. Each question is measured on five likert scales. The data analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that the variables of Online Accounting Software and Business Duration did not have a significant effect on the Quality of MSME Financial Statements in Gondangrejo District. Variables of Education Background and Business Size have a significant effect on the Quality of MSME Financial Statements in Gondangrejo District. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of learning history subjects using the Social Inquiry Learning Model and measure the effectiveness and improvement of students' critical thinking skills. The method used in this research is a class action method. The object of this research is the Social Inquiry Learning Model to improve students' critical thinking skills and self-concept. Data collection tools used are tests and observations. The results of this study indicate 1) the Social Inquiry Learning Model can be used in the learning process in history subjects 2.) There is a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills by using the Social Inquiry Learning Model based on the results of tests carried out at the end of each cycle I and II with the increase in students' critical thinking skills between cycles reached 29% with the success rate of students who were able to achieve indicators of critical thinking were 27 students or 87% of the 31 students who were subjected to the action. Abstract

This research is backgrounded by students' problems in mastering and learning Arabic vocabulary. The factor that affects their abilities is that not all students have studied Arabic before they entered a faith-based school, and teachers still use a less interesting learning model on Arabic vocabulary material, which results in students being less interested and feeling bored during the lesson, so that students' ability to master Arabic vocabulary is low.  To respond to this problem, researchers are interested in using the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) learning model in improving the mastery of Arabic vocabulary in class X IPA MA Nahdathul Ulama Sumber Agung. The results of this study showed that before the application of the Teams Games Tournaments learning model in mastering Arabic vocabulary of class X IPA MA NU Sumber Agung, from data on the pre-cycle of completed students totaling 6 people (27.2%) while those who were not completed were 16 people (72.7%). Then after the Teams Games Tournaments learning model was applied in mastering Arabic vocabulary, in the first cycle there was an increase from 22 students who completed 11 people (50.0%) and those who did not complete 11 people (50.0%), then in cycle II experienced an increase from 22 students who completed 18 people (81.8%), who had not completed 4 people (18.1%). Thus, it can be seen that the results of the vocabulary mastery test for class X IPA have increased by 54.6%. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the Teams Games Tournaments learning model can improve the mastery of Arabic vocabulary for class X IPA MA NU Sumber Agung School year 2021/2022. Abstract

Indonesia is part of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and Group of Twenty and participates in carrying out sustainable economic development. However, macroeconomic developments are still experiencing problems with employment, resulting in unemployment. Unemployment is a very serious problem because it involves people's welfare which in turn results in disruption of social and political stability. So the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of HDI, inflation and economic growth on unemployment in Western Indonesia during the 2014-2019 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression. This research was conducted in 18 provinces in western Indonesia with a total of 108 observations. Based on the results of the Chow test and Hausman test, the correct parameter estimation method used in this study is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) show that individually the HDI, inflation and economic growth variables have a negative and significant effect on unemployment in western Indonesia.
